Purchased my AC last year in June 2024. It stopped cooling in July end, and I raised complain in Aug 2024. After investigation, technician told me gas is leaked. When asked to remove, they took a long time to reply that I will have to coordinate with the neighbour and have it removed.
They should have removed it right away by now as the position of placement is faulty and causing excessive heating and health issues.

Worst AC service

Kk nagar Chennai . Every time you call them for an AC service they will pick up indoor and outdoor unit and charge you very high . AC will stop working within the same month . Reaching back the customer support is impossible.
Can someone look into it asap and get the Ac fixed the right way .

Pathetic and costly services
They charge alot and they didnot provide proper services also. After many follow up and calls they come and that too by their own time. There's not value of time, money and nor the customer. In just 5.5 years there services and product both are waste.

Kindly take my complaint seriously.
My new carrier ac is not functioning from last 1 month after almost 8 visits from carrier technician and close to 8 gas fillings and change of parts.
I have not been able to use ac for atleast one continious week after purchase. 1 year warranty will go by just like this.visit after visit but no solution.
If any ac buyer is reading this DO NOT BUY CARRIER AC..its not worth.
There are many other reliable brands.
The company does not have good quality checks..they sell ac at high price and leave it to the customer to deal with problens.

Service for re-installation
I have been trying to contact the service provider in my area since the last one week for re-installation. Even I had to take leave one day from work for getting it installed but they did not show up and gave some excuses.
I would not recommend anyone to buy from this company.

Water leakage from the ac n remote is also not working
Hello sir,
I am swathi, purchased Carrier split AC on 31st march 2020. First 5 months it went smooth but from then it started water leakage from the AC and at the same time Remote also stopped working. Till date I called customer care so many times and complained about the same, but I am getting the message as
"Service request of product is cancelled due to .If you disagree with Cancellation pls contact us on".
To whom I have to contact and for what reason the technicians are not able to visit the place.

Durafresh Neo 5 star inverter AC

I had purchased a Carrier Inverter AC in May 2019. It stopped working in end of May 2021. I had mailed a service request to Carrier on 03 Jun 2021. Thereafter 5-6 visits were made by Carrier Technicians but till date they have not rectified the fault making me and my family suffer throughout the summer months. My AC is lying unserviceable since then and Carrier Customer Support is not responding.

Carrier Service Centre is a Cheat

I have a Carrier Split AC. It stopped cooling, so I complained to customers service.
A guy visited and told Its Out of Gas, so he charged gas refilling Rs 3000.
After 2 days aain cooling stopped, we complained again.
The same guy Krishna from Carrier service centre visited our place and said the indoor coil has leakage and can not be repaired, new coil is Rs 7500. WE said, if coil was leaking why did he refilled the gas and charges us Rs 3000. He had no answer, but than said that you get the coil replaced from outside and we will come and fill gas free of cost as for gas refilling, the guarantee is or 3 months.
Now when we have got the coil replaced from outside, carrier people are saying they can't come and refill the gas and will not refund the money charged earlier. pathetic

Worst customer care service
I had purchased carrier AC last march and due to covid, I had installed in September. Since then I have been raising request for the ac service. Either the request is cancelled or the technicians never call. If a particular date is given, the technician calls and says he can’t attend it and cancel it. Is this the way you avoid doing the free service within an year and come for only paid services!? Then why the hell you have a customer care or warranty period!??? We can buy the ac and do a service from a third party! I patiently waited that things will get better as i also consider and understand the pandemic situation . But again if the service is not done, what about the expenses will I have to bear later . !!! Either serve for the customer or never have a service!

Deliver faulty Ac

I buy 2 ton split AC from Vijay Sales on 30 Nov. 2020. They deliver damaged AC. I check this damage part when we install AC in 11 April 2021. After Installation, we found outdoor unit not working. We called service center person, they visited and after 3 days diagnose, they said outdoor unit will be replace. New unit will come with in 3-4 days. After 7-10 days and regular follow Up, They said, outdoor unit will not replaced as you have purchased unit 3 month before. Only One month after purchase, unit can be replace. After that they said they will replace PCB board, Then your AC will run. But After 23 days, PCB still did not get replaced. After much fight with service team, They are agree to bypass AC till the part did not arrived. From Next day, they did not answering the phone calls and once answer that our service engineer is not well, "so let see when we will send the engineer". In the north Delhi, They have only One engineer.
Still 27 Days has been passed, But no response.
Career AC service is worst in the world.
Never Recommend to go with Career Product.

Service regarding

We have 4 split actually(1.5) ton in my office that we have purchased in 2016.now in month of october one of ac stop it's working. When engineer visit the site for the same he recommend that there is fault in compressor in outdoor unit.. So i register the complaint in company and there engineer visit the site on 4th March 2021 now when he test the unit there is large sparking is there and one explosion noise occur in unit.in last he told me that there is fault in compressor and I submit the report in the company, they replace the same as this compressor is under warranty. But till date no further visit by the company and no follow up for this. So kindly look in this matter as early as possible.

I had purchased a Carrier 1.5 Inverter (3 star) AC on 30/06/2019 from Tata Croma, East of Kailash,
New Delhi. In less than a year & while still in warranty period the AC has started giving me trouble wrt to its cooling.. 4 complaints were logged in June 2020... It’s as if no one cared less. The service centre is PATHETIC to say the least. They sent shady & unprofessional representatives who just brushed the fins & walked away saying it SHOULD WORK NOW ? The last service executive informed me that the fan motor was faulty & it’ll take a couple of days for him to replace it. Having been a Carrier loyalist for more than 20 years it amuses me most to see what has happened ? Is outsourcing the cause or is it he overall quality? Want a replacement of the product right away !!

Unskilled techicians sent to deliberately damage product
I purchased carrier invertor ac in april 2019. It ran smoothly all summer without any issue. I availed a preventive maintenance service in october 2019 - 2 technicians visited who were sent by the local carrier service center. After this service, ac was not used due to cold weather in north india.in april 2020, the ac was not cooling at all. Due to covid19, the warranty was extended till may 2020. Around 20th may 2020 - first technician visited, he diagnosed refrigerant leak and the local customer service center demanded i pay 2000. When i inquired about where the leakage had happened, i was told it was from the flare nut. After much haggling, they accepted that the leakage was due to their faulty nut. A second technician was sent who unnecessarily dismantled my indoor unit, hammered it unnecessarily and then used a flare gun to play around. The con man of a technician stayed at my house for 5 hours and clicked selfies on my terrace before finally refilling the refrigerant on 26th may 2020. He did not replace the flare nut.
Less than 24 hours of refrigerant refill, the cooling again stopped. On calling the customer care, another technician was sent. He diagnosed that the flare nut as well the improper welding in the indoor unit done by the second clown of a technician was the reason for the refrigerant leak. He did another refrigerant refill on 28th may 2020. During this time, the second selfie clicking clown technician who damaged my indoor unit due to his negligence forced his way into our house to inspect the ac!
Now since 15th june 2020 - that is about 2 weeks of a second refrigerant refill, my ac is again not cooling. How is it that since the carrier authorised technicians have handled my ac, there is repeated, frequent refrigerant leak!
It's a scam carrier is running to mint money. They send unskilled technician to deliberately damage the product so the customer has to avail paid services/repair.
Why should the customer bear the brunt of the negligence of the company in hiring any random tom, dick or harry and without training them, they are sent deliberately by carrier to damage the product so frequent, repeated services need to be availed!

complaint for split ac non inverter

I am the consumer of carrier air conditioners. One is split ac and other one is window ac.
On29.05.2020, i requested for the service of the ac vide request no.[protected]. I was ensured that service will be done within 72 hours but no one visited. Finally my request was cancelled.
On 13.06.2020 i again called the customer care for the service vide request no.[protected]. I was assured service will be done within 12 hours.
On 14th technician visited and completed the service of both the acs. After one hour of service, water leakage started in acand it stopped working. We called up the technician and he visited after 2 hours and again repaired. Again after 15 mins it stopped working. We again called him up but he denied to visit. We called up the customer care and visit was assured but no one visited.
On 15th after several follow ups with customer care and technician, he visited in the afternoon and told us he is not able to understand the issue and senior technician will visit. But no one visited. Several calls made in this regard.
Finally on 16th one technician visited and he said change of compuster is required. We paid rs.1200/- and he changed the compuster. Again it failed and stopped working. We again made various calls to customer care and service centre on 16th and 17th but no solutions yet.
There are old parents in my family and they are on regular medication. Because of non availability of ac, they are not able to sleep for 4 nights and their health is getting deteriorated but company is not providing the solution.
Please note that my ac was working fine and there was no issue. We just requested for the general service and your technician spoiled the product and in this hot season we are without for 4 days and no resolution by the company.
There is deficiency in service by the company.

Carrier ac free service not being done.

Carrier does not provide any free service. On calling up the call centre they say we do not provide free service without any complaint. What does this mean? Moreover the service centre at abohar punjab also do not deal properly. They do not know how to behave with customers. They do not know how to talk with customers. Such an approach shows that carrier has worst service centres.

Regarding ac indoor unit failure
I had purchased carrier superia 4 star inverter ac in feb 2018 and since then i used it only for one season then i had uninstalled my ac by carrier ac company guys because of my house construction and now i have installed it on 4 may 2020 using some ac repairing shop guys and i have spend around 10000 since then and now finally got problem that my ac indoor unit coil get damaged in between o[censored]nit which rarely or not happened. Now i called the carrier to detect and resolve my issue and they sent some guy who said it is not company fault its and i have checked my ac by 3 of ac repairing shops they said its not possible to have leakage in coil in between the unit so company has to resolve it and company charged around 12500 for changing the coil. As this ac cost me around 48000 and in just two years i have spend 15000 on it so now i dont want to bear expenses for which the low inferior coil and company responsible
