Amount charged on the expired card

Hi,

I was Citi Credit card holder. I used the credit card approximately two years. Then my company sent me to USA to work at client’s place and after few months, my Citi Credit Card expired. When I was in USA, suddenly I started seeing some purchaces, which are purchased in Hyderabad on the expired credit card. Still getting charged to a closed account

I closed my credit card account with CITI and the basters continued to charge thier affiliate CITI Indenity Monorting to the account. Three months after the account was closed I started recieveing collection calls. After many (I mean 20 or 30 calls) two to three a day.
