At the time o[censored]sing my state bank of India debit card for withdrawal of cash amount 1,300 rupees From ATM counter of State Bank of India Thrissur branch at 2pm Thursday(01/10/09), i did not get any cash and receipt from machine, but i loss rupees1,300 from my account.

    Dear Sir,

    With reference to the above I would like to draw your kind attention that I am having above saving a/c no. with your branch since February 2008 and would like to inform you that the I had submitted the pass book for entry of transactions on 19/08/2009 but I came to know that a false entry made for Rs.15000/- on 13/8/2009 with transaction no. PRCR/81007152/92 which was not made by me and I assure that I have not made any purchase on this date.

    Hence I request kindly look into the matter and arrange cr. for this amount immediately and confirm.

    Your kind action on above will be highly appreciated.

      Dear Sir,

      I am your customer since 2005 .I opened my account in Anna nagar branch and was immediately issued Debit card.([protected]).

      In Jun I received a new card with a comment that the existing card is deactivated.( your lr dated June, 12, 2009.

      But in reality I am unable to use the new card([protected]). Hence using the same old.

      Please activate and intimate me immediately.

        Two months ago, i signed an application for Gold Debit card when one of your representatives came to my office. According to information given to me by your representatives, i was suppose to receive the new card within two weeks..but till now i didn't receive it yet. My old card has been blocked and Rs. 250 have deducted. it's very troublesome and unfair...so please send my new card at my office address as soon as possible, because it's a great hassle to used the check...i really need it...so please send it..ASAP..

                This is with reference to my letter dated 14th January and second reminder on 9th February 2009 ( as per taached) about Fraud on my account and subsequent your reply on 31st January 2009.

                As per your letter, those 11 transactions are happened at Russia . All this transactions nor initiated or instructed by me. With this I am more concerned about customer data security at SBI. It shows that my personal data like ATM PIN (password), ATM card details are stolen from SBI customer database. I am requesting SBI fraud detection and information security department to investigate this matter.

                I would like to bring your noticed that there are 11 transactions on my SBI saving account ([protected]). These transactions are not initiated by me nor by my instructions. I noticed these transactions yesterday night while accessing my SBI account using internet. There are five transactions taken placed on 10th Jan and Six transactions on 13th Jan. which are not done by me using my SBI ATM card. As per online account statement this transactions are ATM transactions. All this transactions are containing my SBI debit card number[protected]XXXXXXX).

                I have not lost or not shared my SBI debit card with any one. Till date ATM card is with me. Yesterday when I come to know this incident, immediately I contacted SBI contact center to block my card. Contact center agent has given me ticket / reference number ([protected]) for blocking request.

                      This is in regards to my axis bank’s debit card. My card got stuck in an Axis ATM machine in Malviya Nagar and it broke. Staff in the bank had asked me to filled-out two different forms on two different days to get a new card. However, I haven’t received the card yet and they are not even letting me know the status of the request. Please let me know whom can I contact to get the card delivered to my current address ASAP.

                      My account is with the Axis Bank Noida. I have spoken with the staff in Noida as well and they have provided a consignment number and as per the courier company my card has been delivered to Axis Bank Malviya Nagar branch. When I asked for the card in the bank they said that they haven’t received. They are not even checking the status, they have given me number to call and when I call that that number they don’t even pick up my calls.

                      This is how they have been giving me run around. I have left with no cheque now and I’ am of afraid of asking for a new cheque book because they are going to give me another run around.
                      Please let me know what I can do to get the card delivered.
                      Is there a way I can change my salary account.

                      A staff member in Noida called me mad because I asked her to check my request by my account number.Her name is Neha.

                      Another staff of the same branch said where ahs he got my number from because she was nit willing to tell me the status of the request. Her name is Renu.

                      i wanted to purchase a thing through my Axis bank debit card on December 21, 2008, since the seller is entered wrong amount(Rs.435/-) without my knowledge. So i did not sign in the purchase slip and cancelled the purchase. but the amount is being deducted in my account. So i complained to refund my amount Rs.435/- to my account.
                      But the bank staff are still passing our own time by asking consignment slip and everything like complaint letter. I produced my complaint letter to the concerned branch, but i am unable to collect the consignment slip since i cancelled the purchase. Those bank peoples are still rotating time and not responding to my mails.

                      Debit card — Charges incurred due to banks faults being passed to customer

                      My HSBC Debit card got stuck in the ICICI bank ATM due to loss of power.

                      In this case the card loss is not due to error on my part but is a banks fault since the 24/7 ATM has not battery backup.

                      as part of procedure i have called the bank and reported this situation.

                      Now HSBC is charging me Rs. 150 for card replacement

                      I as a customer am being offered services whereby i can withdraw from non HSBC ATM also annual charge is being levied for the ATM card being issued to me.

                      The question is not of the amount of charges being levied but charges being levied on the customer on Bank/ Bank partners service failure.

                      I request you to take this scenario as an example where bank is charging customer for loss of service it provides to the customer.

                        First of all you have not mentioned the bank if whose debit card you are using.Taking this into account that your bank is a centralised bank, then you will have some problem using your debit card in online transaction. I too use a debit card of Indian Bank and tried to use this on paypal, but failed to do so. When asked about his problem they clearly stated that the debit card they are providing is solely for using in the atms globally and NOT for online transaction. But there is a way, HDFC provides a card called Netsafe card which can be used for online transation and you can also verify your paypal account using that. It is a one time activation card. For more details you can contact HDFC directly.

                            Sir,

                            Further to the above on 31.03.09 I have swiped my card at Ekkattuthangal ATM, Chennai to withdraw the amount of Rs.300.00, I have not received the same but the amount has debited.

                            With regard to this I have given Complaint letter to SBI Anna salai, where I am having Account, they informed that amount will be credited within 10 Days, But still it has not been credited, lapsing of 22 Days, I have also lodged complaint through mail on 1st April 2009.

                            Though the amount is small I can bear the delay for credit, but if it is the higher value will Bank give compensation?

                            If the amount will not be credited before end of this month, I have no other alternative but I will file a Suit through CONSUMER COURT.

After many follow-ups also I am not received any positive response from ABN AMRO team .                                       Oct 2nd 2008, 8.42 am I tried to withdraw Rs. 3000/- from Canara Bank Kalidasa Layout Bangalore ( Near Sri Nagar Bangalore) My transaction was processed but I am not received the money. Record number is 4201. But Rs 3000 is debited from my A/C. ABN AMRO Help Line compliant number is 021046.
                                      Till Today no response from customer care. I need my many back immediately.

                                        A few days ago, I got my cheque -book and debit card. But I didn’t get
                                        the PIN .On yesterday (10th March) evening (between 7:30 -8:30) I tried to generate the PIN by calling [protected](customercare, KOLKATA).
                                        But due to technical problem I was unable to generate. I tried 4 times to generate the PIN.
                                        On my 4th attempt, the phone-banking operator told” IVR is not working properly”.
                                        My mobile credit balance went in vain for phone calls.
                                        Today(11th March, 2008) I visited my home branch(“SWASTIK BUILDING “NAZRUL ISLAM SARANI-VIP ROAD KOLKATA-700059) to generate the PIN by machine(as told by Phone banking officer) or get it by postal service.
                                        I was told by the bank authority to call again customer care and they did not show any importance about my problem. So, Today (11th March) I again called [protected] at 04:52:08 pm
                                        After 4 minutes I was told again by phone banking officer that the system was not working properly and the person advised me to contact the branch again.
                                        But sir, I feel it is the high time to inform you to avoid further harassment.
                                        So, I want to draw your attention over the matter and take necessary steps as early as possible so that I can get my PIN.

                                        My A/c no is [protected], branch is at AMBUR, Vellore Dt, Tamil nadu.
                                        I have this a/c for past 8 yrs. I lost my debit card in travell on 13.05.09.
                                        So I applied for the new card through my branch on 15.05.09. There was no response later. But debited Rs 220 from my a/c towards, new debit card.

                                        Later I went and met the branch manager and complaint on 20.06.09. So he made a request over online. But no response.

                                        Again applied for second time on 01.07.09. But still I have not received any thing from SBI.

                                        2 MONTHS passed, Since I do not have my card, How can I transact for urgent.
                                        I never face such a stupid problem in my A/C with other banking, and really I feel very sorry to say that your service is very very poor in this case.
                                        If I am not getting my card within a week. I have the debit note for Rs 220. I will take action against SBI.
                                        Also I will advise all my wishers to close their A/C from SBI, and to do not open a new a/c in SBI.

                                        Pl act fast and do the needfull.

                                          No Customer service

                                          Hi,
                                          I have lost my debit card so trying to block my card but none of the customer service no are reachable.
                                          Being it Saturday even the banks would be closed the next day.
                                          Plzz let me know as to what to do???
