Due to travelling, I have ordered and parceled one chicken biriyani from food plaza, howrah stn. After sitting on my birth, when I tasted the food, I got a foul smell and the chicken tasted bad. It was slippery and the smell also covered the rice too. Very poor quality of food served. Please take action....

Today I ordered tanduri roti and butter chicken. All foods are stale. It was so unhealthy and unhygienic.

I ordered one grilled chicken double cheese sandwich from the 'Live Sandwich Pizza & Burger', Food Plaza, Howrah Railway Station. But they made me a sandwich filled with cut-up sausages( no taste) as a mean of 'grilled chicken'. When I claimed at the counter that there are no grilled chicken in the sandwich, only 'sausages' with uncooked onion, corn and cheese, they replied that this item gets served like this. Well that's cheating and charging customers for the wrong food.

As per the menu cashier was not providing the bill and was charging more for the same. When i told him to give the bill he started arguing me and given me two bills separtely. As i ordered for egg fried rice he gave me bills of veg fried rice and omlette. So when they are serving any item. They must provide the bills accordingly. Inspite of the mistake he was arguing like anything. So they must be trained proper way to serve the customer. They need the skills for serving the customer. Moreover by providing wrong bill they are cheating the customers also.

I was at Howrah Station (Old Complex) plaza around 1.30 p.m. on 16/08/2013. I ordnered lunch and I was pouring a glass of water in my water bottle when I was stopped by a waiter saying that it's against the rule to fill in the bottle. When I asked him to show any written document on this then, the Manager, Bablu Biswas came to me and told me the same thing in a rude manner. Though I explained to him that I paid for my lunch and insted of drinking a glass of water, I wanted to carry that water in a bottle, no one listened to me. I am disappointed with the kind of behaviour I received there. I want to know whether this rule exists and if it exists then where can I find this rule in writing. I also want some action to be taken against the manager, Bablu Biswas for his misbehaviour.

This is a bitter experience that on 10.11.2010 at Howrah station when I was going to Delhi from Howrah. At 12:15 pm I purchased a misti dahi - small pack (clay pot) by paying Rs. 9.00 from Food Plaza at old Howrah station. After tasting one spoon quantity I got that the dahi was spoiled, may be due to long time keeping or keeping at higher temperature or keeping at fluctuating temperature. My wife who was with me, tasted and agreed with me. Then I went to the seller and I told that the dahi was not good and for that give me any other sweet. But the staff informed to a person who is an employee of that shop. The employee told he was a food technologist and having 15 years experience. He smelled the product and told the product was ok, even the earlier seller told the dahi made at morning on that day. I surprised as a food technologist he don’t know the dahi is spoiled or not even the seller told lie because the dahi made at morning will not be spoiled even it keep it at room temperature. Then I told as a consumer the dahi spoiled but the employee (food technologist) refused my comment. Then I show my Identity card. I have completed both B. Tech. and M. Tech. in Dairy Technology and having working experience in Banas Dairy (Gujarat), which is Asia’s largest milk handling plant and producing product of ‘Amul’ and now doing Ph.D. in Dairy Technology form National Dairy Research Institute (Karnal, Haryana) which is India’s top dairy institute. I have enough experience regarding misti dahi theoretically as well as practically. But the person not given respect me and he behaved such a wrong way that I can not stand even a single second. That day I felt really very bad. This is fact that in such a way the shop is cheating the consumer who wants to taste one cup of misti dahi which is a famous dairy product in West Bengal. As a Dairy Technologist and being a Bengali I can not tolerate this kind of behavior with a consumer because it is a dairy product and it is a famous dairy product of West Bengal. Please take necessary steps against the shop strongly other wise I will take necessary steps at extreme level.
