Food taste very bad.. but price is too high for that quality.. they aren't giving pulka/roti separately without gravy.. buying with or without gravy is customer choice.. they have mentioned price separately but not giving it separately.. compelling us to buy both roti and gravy..

      I have an order today onion rava dosai from online delivery at saligramam, chennai hotel saravana bhavan and unpacked the food from delivery while eating I saw beetle in the dosa and I have shocked it very very bad maintaining from saravana bhavan hotel.
      Worst service

            Ordered a Meal for lunch by 1:30 pm at vadapalani Hotel Saravana Bhavan had a worst service of behaviour with APPLA NAIDU who is throwing the change wallet on the food table for not issuing the extra rice after ordered, its like am eating food for free on his payment, further will think 100 times before entering to the hotel with the service which I experienced. THANKS A LOT HOTEL SARAVANA BHAVAN for giving such type of experience to the customers who come with a trust!!!Had a glad experience will share with my families friends & relatives too... Came with a cheerful smile ...went out from hotel as a ...at last 🙏🏻 THANKS !!!

              My recent experience with bangalore main road, kurubarapalli, krisghnagiri, sikkari medu, tamil nadu 635115 branch hotel being very bad as the service was very very slow and the assigned member to the table was not in uniform. When questioned why so late service they answered shortage of plate. Hence we decided to take parcel as we waited and no response. We asked for parcel at cash counter. The lady being very rude and answered we cannot give parcel. This video s not the first time i have seen lady being rude as i frequently travel and a regular visitor to the hotel. Request admin to consider as the behaviour of the staff has an impact on the reputation of the hotel.

                This is mouli from chennai.2 days before i visited tirupathi for dharshan with my wife and 4 years old kid. After a long walk and dharshan we came to tirupathi bus stand and wanted tohave food at your saravana bhavan tirupathi., but since it was almost 3.30 pm we had doubts if we would get meals and luckly we got meals. But before the meals came we were sitting in a row and they said to shift to another row, after that the meals came and they started to clean the floor near to us. So i just told the billing person to stop for 5 mins so that we would finish our lunch. Instantly he shouted at me and asked me to leave. I did not even start to eat the lunch. As they started to broom the dust started to come so i requested them to wait. But instead they asked me to leave. I think this is the worst behaviour of your employee to tell someone to leave when they have not even started to eat. This is a disgrace to me and my family, if you do not take action on this., i think saravana bhavan will never ever prosper. Let them fear for god atleast. Do not employ such rogues hereafter atleast.

                  Today visited saravana bhavan, navalur for ordering breakfast and ordered idli vada combo (2 idli 1 vada). First they took a long time to deliver, more than 30 minutes and then i took the food and noticed no sambar was given and also a vague looking chutney which was terrible. Overall no value for money and very arrogant attitude

                  This has happened several times in the past too, they hive off a vague looking kuruma (Possibly leftover) instead of sambar and they have become a bad name for the brand

                    Today by 8.30pm in person at valasarawalkam branch ordered for butter nan and curries. It was a take away. They just applied ghee on old nan which was chill, also inspite of large curry ordered they forged me with regular one. When i asked them they took 1 hour to change it and give me after regular followups.
                    Preference was given only to online providers, whom were supported by 10min of service.
                    Even security allows vehicles of online providers to park and ask others to park outside parking area.
                    To complaint no one answered and even said that there are no managers in the hotel.
                    It is also not so to be boosted by hotel on taste or quality of food. The customers who step in only on some conditional basis, like tea meet / floating customers / for social status mentality people.
                    Worst attitude of supplier, manager and security.
                    Will never step in or recommend anyone who comes from other state/inner state.
                    For you people, if one come with glitters you all bend and show the maximum smile just for the sake of tips.
                    Respect for a person coming in car and bikes are also classified.

                    All this could be confirmed via cctv over there.

                    On whole the entire food which i bought was distributed to road pets as we were not able to eat.

                    I don't know without customer satisfaction how this business runs. I believe this chain of hotel will shut in a span of 1 year.

                    As me a media person, would also try to show cause shortly.

                      02-10-18 moring went vadapalani branch with family any one didnt response for more then half hour then order the food 3 items, dosa, appam and edi appam, edi appam is not good like a rubber then order a coffee for wife, the coffee give for without sugar and anybody not near me for tell i want sugar, the coffee get chilled,
                      I request for the management its big name for hotel saravana bhavan dont spoil that name, i got today very bad experience,

                        Hi - i would like to bring to your notice about illegal billing happening in hotel saravana bhavan, thirumanglam brach, chennai. Today i purchase breakfast from this hotel for rs.324 (Total bill amount), since i was in a hurry i did not verify the bill properly. After reaching home i found that they have charged rs. 41.80/- as parcel charges which is around 15% of the entire bill. On top of this they are also adding another 5% towards gst. This is absolutely a day robbery and none of the hotels have such high charges. I would request you to take strict action since they are cheating thousands of people everyday by levying this high charges.

                          I am writing this on regard to the humiliating experience, i had while going to saravana bhavan navalur - omr.

                          I usually go in car, and i am respected very well during those visits.

                          Today morning, i reached there in my motorbike and then came to know the real face of discrimination at your outlet.

                          I was treated like someone who was looking for alms at the hotel. Since i came in a bike, will i pay any less for the food i am going to have?

                          This worst attitude towards customers will only throw you down the abyss more and more.

                          Wake up to this discriminating behavior before its too late.

                            We had tiffin and coffee on 11.10.17 at mount road (Near anna statue) saravana bhavan. The coffee served was of very inferior quality worst than railway canteen coffee. When i asked the coffee maker he was not polite but said "you are only complaining, but all others are drinking without hesitation". We go to hotel saravana bhavan to have quality food and good filter coffee (Even though they charge high) only. The coffee he should have changed but the answer he said was hurting. Hope they will maintain their old standard of coffee in future and make staff to be customer friendly.

                              I have visited Saravana bhavan today near Chennai airport..The service which they have given is very poor they have completely given unboiled idly of four plates which we have waited for 1hour to get that..we didn't eat anything but paid for the same..worst ever hotel please don't go for it..they didn't even hear our complaint..they won't respect people money...

                                I am a regular diner at Saravana Bhavan hotels be at Chennai or Kanchipuram alone, with family, with friends, with official visitors regularly for treats also. I usually dine in the AC room only. The bill amount would normally between Rs.500 to even Rs.3000/-. I went to Saravana Bhavan Gandhi Road Branch this[protected] morning around 9 am. I was clad in high quality T Shirt, Track Pant and sports shoes. I had over 5000 in my wallet as usual this morning at the time of visiting that hotel. I got seated in the table near the wash basin just between wash area and cash counter. Seated in the left corner seat near passages. I did not feel like going into AC room as it was morning. After few minutes the server approached me for orders. The conversations were in Tamil. I ordered special rava. He said no available but suggested Dry Fruit Rava. I agreed. Asked him to bring it. I never asked for menu as I knew what would be the rate of such a dosa. After some time one Mr.R****n(may be order taker) came by my side. He leaned by my side, I thought he came to confirm orders. I told him I already ordered Dry Fruit Rawa. He did not listen and showed me the menu, said in a husky voice. "The rate is Rs135/- . Do you have it?". I have never never never had such a bad experience in my life - in my visit to hotels. I felt thoroughly harassed, insulted before the hall full of diners. I shouted at that, showed him the purse. I felt very very very very angry. Another supervisor approached to find out what was happening ? He just asked R****n"why did you mention amount?" I checked in the office room. There was nobody to lodge complaint. R****nstarted apologizing but I felt insulted beyond that I scolded that person and left the scene. I went to take my scooter - R****ncame running outside - pleaded guilty - I was not convinced. He would have seen me many times in that branch and should have behaved politely.                                 I had ordered for 1 masala dosai, 2 sets of idlis. 3pcs each vide bill number 24827 Dt: 28.05.2017 billed at 20:44:59. As when I reached home I found that there was only one pack of idlis (3pcs). I could not find any contact number to make a complaint. Will you authorities look forward into this issue please.

                                  Leave the price, atleast they can give good service. Today I visited Vadaplani branch which is also their corporate office and gone their by two wheeler. I parked the vehicle in the parking space and after taking parcel, I found my vehicle thrown out to road. When I approached the manager, I didn't get responsible reply and he along with the security turned against me stating that I parked in the four wheeler space. When I asked why it was not told while parking. he told that it is our responsiblty and asked to listen the words of security. Along with my vehicle six more vehicles also thrown out to road, which shown their responsibility and our irresponsibilities.

                                  The utensils which are provided are unhygienic and there is a delay in providing the food. Spoons are too small to consume rice items. Completely its not worth for money.I have also attached the pictures of the utensils they serve.

                                    I had lunch around 2 PM on 7th November 2011 Monday in Anna nagar Saravana Bhavan.
                                    they make me to wait for more than 30 mins to allot a seat first. and another 10 mins for taking order. after 5 mins they serve sambar additional which i ask to the waiter. the sambar is full of salt, so i think i can go for rasam, when it is like watery and too salty. when i enquired about this to the waiter went to the kitchen and return back and say you exchange with any other. when i filed complaint to the supervisor he behave in an arrogant way and use the foul language too.

                                    im the loyal customer for this hotel for nearly 12 years and they are behaving in this way, which is unacceptable to any one, it hurts deeply.

                                    hereafter i wont entertain my friends and family member to entertain in this chain of hotel.

                                    I[censored] GO THEY WILL MAKE U FOOL. on[protected] I (Bank employee) and my family members are went to saravana bhavan gandi road branch, in my car when i reached thehotel the security guy ask me to park my car some ware (out side the hotel premises) he told hotel had no parking place parking is owners risk. regarding this he shouted me in cheap words. afte after compleation of my dinner one of my family member ( NRI Bank employee) given his international card for bill payment, the cashier reject the card and tells problem with Ur card, and demand me to pay cash, immediately we have given another 2 cards they have replys the same . again they demand us to pay cash.
                                    then we called the manager and we question the manager regarding about this, he also treating me as illeterates. finally we warned him that dont say silly reasons we r not illeterates we r bankers we know about card payments then why u rejecting my cards like that immediately they accept my cards. " finally my uncle(Retaired GOVT Employee) asks the manager we dont think about your pathetic service, we think we will get service like CHENNAI
                                    for that we'll come to here, manager replys next time U dont come here, U go and get service in CHENNAI. finally we decided never go to SARAVANA BHAVAN HOTELS.

                                      Hotel saravana bhavan service in TCS siruseri chennai is pathetic.. Extremely poor serive and absolutely no hospitality to the TCS employees .. Despite their exorbitant charges , they provide quantity in extremely small amounts which is very meager and absolutely insufficienct for the employees .. This is applicable for both the normal and special meals as well .. Request the concerned authorities to pls take the necessary remedial action before the situaion gets worse !! Thanks

                                      HOTEL Saravana Bhavan has become a joint for the rich who throw away money for moderate quality and poor quantity.
                                      The other vegetarian hotels bench mark their prices to saravana Bhavan for poor quality.
                                      No one seem to bother. The Government should take action and fix the prices of common dishes like Idli, Vada, Sada Dosa, Upma, Poori and
                                      Plate meals, just as NTR did during his tenure in Hyderabad and AP.

                                      Otherwise a day will come that the salary of a common man will not be sufficient to a have a square meal in a restaurant
