We lost 20000 rupees for ship tickets for two in the month of December 2018. We booked over phone call, we deposited an amount of RS 20000 through Bank transaction, I do have the proof of it with me. We never got the tickets or the refund amount. We even filled police complaint but they could not find his physical address since it was fake, finally we got to find he was operating under Ms world tourism in Chennai koyembedu, when we reached there physically to come to know that he do not have his office there anymore.

I would like to bring to your kind notice about the horrible experience I had with the guy mentioned in the subject. I with my family decided to go on vacation and we choose Andaman as per tourist destination. On searching the net, we came across Island Tour Package and we had enquired about their services. They had sent a detailed itenery of 8 nights, 9 days stay in Andaman going by Ship and back by flight. Then while I asking for complete down payment via internet transfer, I demanded a confirmed return flight ticket from Island Tour Package. They had sent a return flight tickets with valid PNR details. Due to this I got convinced and transferred the entire money of Rs 1 Lakh and Four Thousand to Mr. Mariappan account. Post that I came to know, that once I made the payment, Mariappan had cancelled the return flight tickets and from then on our miserable and horrible experience started.
We travelled to Andaman via Ship and after landing no proper arrangements has been made. I highly struggled with my wife and 2 daughters in streets of Andaman with limited connectivity (as only 2g in Andaman with poor signal issues). With no return tickets booked by Mariappan, spent Rs 65000 from my pocket to return. Though I had incurred severe financial loss with this Fraud, the struggle I had encountered in Andaman is unbearable. I had made a local complaint against Mariappan, and with the help and advice from the local police station we manage to reach Chennai.
When I browse through google, I came about this guy Mariappan and big-time cheater and fraud and cheated many innocent people of their money and made all those suffer in an unknown land. Please refer the link given below to see plenty of victims like me tortured and cheated by Mariappan.
After I landed Chennai with great suffering and horrible memories, I went to K11, CMBT Police station, inside Koyambedu bus stand, Chennai to complaint against this repeated offender. Though I know, I got royally cheated by this Mariappan, I want to make a full stop to this menace and I honestly felt no body should suffer like me in Andaman. With that context I requested the K11, CMBT Police to act against this guy. Though the Law and Order Inspector Patiently listen to my complaint to agree in principle to stop this fraud, and instructed the SI's and other police officers to file complaint against Mariappan, the crime division has a different opinion and agreed to just file my complaint as a complaint menu mentioning only the financial loss I incurred due to Mariappan. Though I don’t want to name officers, I heard from SI and constables, that everyone in that station is aware of Mariappan and his fraud activities and my complaint are the 4th in order. Though there are 4 complaints against this guy so far no action has been taken against this Mariappan and this gives him great confidence to continue and cheat many people. Now this makes me understand, why this Mariappan is so confident when I was telling that I will file a complaint against him. He was telling that no one can touch him, and he dare me go to complaint against him anywhere in the country.

Sir, I have deep trust, confidence and high respect in the system. I honestly appeal to consider my case and take strict action against Mariappan. Please note it is more than my money (which anyway I lost with this fraud), I feel that nobody should suffer like me, and we should stop this guy to cheat more and more innocent citizens who want to spend their hard-earned money to travel and enjoy with them families and finally shattered with their dreams.

Hope my complaint will be considered and action will be taken against this offender. Need Immediate actions as this fraud keep changing his address and mobile number. But his website www.islandtourpackage.com will have the updated number which I have given in the subject..

We had booked Lakshadweep Samudram package using "http://www.indiaislandtourism.com/" website in March 2016 for 11 members(10 adults + 1 kid) for the trip from May 5th 2016 to May 9th 2016. Total amount we paid was 2, 76, 250 Rs. We received all the tickets and booking details over the email from Mariappan. Previous day he just called and said, the trip was canceled due to some technical problem in ship. He had confirmed this via email saying...

I had booked 4 ship ticket from chennai to port blair for april 14th 2018 with cost of 32325/- and 50% advance. I'd paid the advance of rs 16000/- on november 18th 2017. They had promised to issue the ticket 1 month before travel date.
I had made call in march to check the status of ticket and got the response that ticket will be issued and sent to me in a day. After that it become routine to call them without any output. Finally, on march 30th i'd checked with shipping corporation of india to know about availability of ticket and with my surprise i got to know that they are yet to release the schedule for april 14th and ticket can be issued after that.
So, i understood the proprietor of india island tourism mr. Mariappan was telling lie till date. With this uncertainty i'd called to cancel the deal and refund my advance money. He had promised to refund my money. After waited for 4 more days on april 3rd, i'd called mr. Marriapan to check the status of refund and i got the assurance that he will transferred the money by end of day.
Not receiving the money, once again i called on april 4th, his response was money is already transferred. When i've asked him to produce the transaction detail, he told that he will check with his account team and reply to me, which he never did. Next day on april 5th i made the call he took u-turn and told the money will be transferred today which he failed to do. With multiple call and mail reminder on april 5 and 6th i got a mail from ms. Revathi (Account) on april 6th that money will be refunded on april 9th without fail.
Now the date is passed and they have not refunded my money. Meanwhile from april 6th they have stopped responding to my phone and replying to my email reminder.
I am looking for justice here to get my hard earn money back and action against india island tourism proprietor mr mariappan and ms revathi for mental harassment and cheating the customer.
I can provide all the related document for evidence upon request.

Indian island tourism the biggest fraud company i have ever seen in my life. The proprietor mariappan and accountant revathi, both are very fraud people playing with others time and money. I booked my tour package with this company and paid rs. 37, 500. Despite several follow ups, till the last moment mariappan did not book the tickets and put us in an embarrassing situation. Due to his inefficiency we had to cancel our trip and he promised full reimbursement of our money in 2 days time. It is since 4 months now every day we are following up with him and he say today and tomorrow, but has not given the money back.
Its my request to all my friends reading this, not to trust mariappan and his team and never pay any money to these people for any tour packages. I saw many customer complaints about this company in the net and deeply regretted that i should have checked the wear bouts of this company before paying money to them. Iam attaching the receipt given to me by mariappan as a proof so that you can understand how professionally this company can cheat people, and i wonder how these fraudulent companies survive so well in our country with out fear.

Every day follow up to book hotels lead to situation that i was made to pay hotel room rent despite clearing complete package amount. He did not pay our rs. 20000/ yet.

Our trip was for 6n/7d, but the agents did not even book our hotels and other necessary ferry tickets. Mr mariappan (The con man) kept promising he will get us everything, kept us waiting for 7 days in complete distress...

I would like to bring to your notice about mr. Mariappan : [protected], [protected] who has cheated me of rs.26750.
I booked my tickets here on the 7th of october (26750/-) and my trip was supposedly for 29th. I had been following up on him every single day after 10th for my tickets and he always says "few minutes, few minutes" but i never received my tickets. On 28th he calls me and says my trip is cancelled. I was supposed to board the ship from cochin.
I still never got angry on him and just asked him to return my money to which he said it will be done in half an hour. And till date i have not received a penny. When i follow up with him, he only says it 'll be transferred in the next 30 mins. I have a proof of all that.
And today when i call him i find that he has blocked my number. I called him from another number and et-voila, he picks up and as soon as he hears me, he disconnects the call.
I don't know how else to deal with him. Anyone else here would have lost their cool. Please help me on this.

I booked India Island tourism for my honeymoon trip to Andaman Island for May 12th 2017. For which the half advance was paid as early as Feb 26th. But tickets was booked a day before my day of flying and hotel booked for 1 day only ...every day follow up to book hotels lead to situation that I was made to pay hotel room rent despite clearing complete package amount.

Our trip was for 6N/7D, but the agents did not even book our return ticket. Mr Mariappan (the con man) kept promising he will get us on a flight, kept us waiting for 2 days in complete distress that he will book a return flight. Finally, I had to pay money from my own pocket for the return flight and the additional 2 days hotel rent to get my wife back home safe.

They are really cheaters and I have all proof to prove them as frauds. I am no the only one they conned. You would have received several complainst. I believe the tourism authority must take strict action against the company.

I facing some problem with this company its too fraud with me.
I have trip for anḍman and I have book ship ticket from chennai to anḍman from this company and I will send 30000 rupees in advance on date 12/05/2017.

But some family problem and tour was cancelled and will say to company agent then he say I will transfer your money in 2 days.

But after 12/05/2017 to till today 31/05/2017 he don't send money and every day say that sir I will send today and morning and evening but don't send money.

I have cancel company's athourisation and refund my money please solve this issue please help me please.

Me and my friend [name removed] have Transfered 26k each for the Andaman package, one side ship and one side flight. They could not confirm us on the dates they agreed. We asked for a refund. Till today they are giving daily excuses and no refund. And also no confirmation regarding tickets till date. I think serious action should be taken. (Rs.Fifty Thousand).They have cancelled our well planned trip to Andaman
by not sending Flight tickets even few hours of our departure time.

This company is totally fraud, they ask to transfer the money .and didn't book your tour .you keep on waiting but last day they will tell ur booking is cancelled and we will refund ur money .
Now you will call every day but mr marriapan will give hell lot of excuses for not transferring money, and sometime he will say he transferred but nothing comes in ur account this continue every day .my money not refunded till now .now already 15 days are over .I logged complain against company .they will take necessary action. Mean while I am calling them every day and collecting all evidence .

Myself and my aunt booked a package tour to Andaman during Christmas 2016 and transfered Rs.70, 000 to the above mentioned for the entire tour. They cancelled the trip during the promised dates and emailed that the amount would be refunded. They did not do it till date inspite of frequent reminders. Each time we call them or email them they keep postponing. We want our money back with fine as we had waited much patiently for the same.

I have booked samudram package of lakshadweep from 27th nov - 1st dec, 2016 and paid the full amount to the agency via payumoney link provided by them. Then after week of chasing they have given the receipt against my paid amount. After that they never confirm my holiday and keep on telling lies every time i ask to give my confirm tickets. As they could not give confirm tickets i had to cancel my booking to reach cochin. Subsequently continues chasing for the refund had been done but each time mr. P. Mariappan came up with unique reply stating cheque issued/transfer prob/etc. Till date refund has not been done. I have been cheated and lost rs.52250/-.
I have a few telephonic conversation recorded and mr. P. Mariappan accepting he is responsible for his agency and my refund. But he has not returned my money and accepted in one recorded conversation that such refund is pending for other customers as well.
Legal action may please be taken against mr. P. Mariappan, owner of india island tourism so that i may get my refund.

We booked our package tour to Lakshwadeep through Mr Maraippan, CEO of 'India Island Tourism'. Though we booked the package 15 days in advance and paid full money, we didnot get the tickets. We called this fellow daily and daily he used to tell us with full confidence in his voice that the tickets are confirmed and he will send them by tomorrow. On his confirmation, we booked our bus tockets from bangalore to Cochin. A day before our travel since we had still not received the tickets, we again told this fellow that we will loose full bus tiocket amount in case the tockets are not confirmed. This fellow that the tickets are confirmed and we will surely receive it. We also asked him since we were little skeptical by now, that if he dioesnot send the tickets he is going to refund the full bus ticket amount. He said yes. Next day on the day of travel, he finally said the tickets are not confirmed. We were not only disappointed, we were tensed also if Mr Maraippan will send the amount we had already paid. Finally after following up multiple times, he paid the amount but not complete. He still kept with him Rs 2000. Now he is ignoring the calls and not refunding 2000 Rs.
