Im an NRI from uae. In 2017, when I was in need of some urgent cash, i gave away 5 sovereigns of gold to kfj and took a loan. The total amount was close to 1.3 lacs and they said that they wud keep 20% and gave me 90k for tenure of 2 years.
I paid 2800rs every months for 2 years and later when i came to chennai to collect the gold back, i came to know that they are shut down. I didn't know where to complaint. Tried contacting the police but they said it's not under them.
I have all the details of the transactions.
Someone help me with this

Its really shocking to know this scam and ultimately getting cheated of the hard earn money.

Hi, We had invested in the bond of gold scheme of KFJ in August 2017 for Rs. 2 lakh. We had invested in the Mylapore showroom of the jewellry with maturity date as 19.8.2020. However, they have closed the showroom and there is no communication from the jewellers on what is their plan for repayment. WE need back our hard earned money. What is the way to get back our investment?

I have invested in bond of gold scheme and booked 50 grams, and the plan expired on 16.06.2021.
At present I heared some issues related to this firm, of not returning the assured gold/ money.
Hence I request you to file a complaint regarding this and resolve this issue.

This complaint is regarding KFJ bond of gold scheme. I paid Rs 1, 00, 000 and have booked 50 gms of gold @ Rs, 1999 /- on 28 Oct 2017 under this Bond of Gold scheme and my maturity date is 28 Oct 2020 which is the locking period. Recently, I came to know that all the branches in Chennai is closed and and I have visited the Mylapore branch several times in the past, but of no avail.

They have to give my money back to me ( for they are not giving genuine gold for the amount they have collected from me.)

We purchased gold bonds for Rs.50000 towards bond of gold from Mylapore branch (WBOG1272, MY78083), which matured in Jan 2021 & Sep20.

There is no response on the phone and the shop is closed. Please help to get the refund.

I am a resident of Chennai. Seeing various advertisements by KFJ in different mediums with their Bond of Gold Scheme wherein one can book gold @ 1999 per gram with a delivery after 3 years, I have booked for 80 grams thinking it will help in my daughter's marriage. The scheme matures on 16th June 2021.

When I recently tried to reach them to find out where to go for collecting the Jewelry, to my utter dismay, found that all their phone numbers are dysfunctional. I got a shock of my life when I found that KFJ has closed their shops in Chennai.

Being from a middle class family, this was my major savings aimed towards my daughter's (who is turning 23 next month) marriage.

Please help in recovering my hard earned money.

We are regular customer to KFJ & have been paying monthly Rs.2000 on subject scheme since July 2016 at KFJ, Chennai Valasaravakkam branch.
Till date have paid for 26 months amounting to total of Rs.52, 000 as per enclosed statement + Rs.2000 paid online on 29.11.2019 = Total Rs. 54, 000.
From 2019 December we are not able to contact the branch which stands closed when every time we visited & phone calls also unattended.br...

I was investment Rs 20, 000 on Aug'17, regarding 10 gram gold gold Rs 1999 scheme, it got matured, but escape the concern, what about the next step myself?

Hi am residing in Valasaravakkam, there was branch open by kfj jewellery in Valasaravakkam. On 2018 January i applied for a gold scheme and paid 18000 for the year, later the shop was closes for few days and when i contacted there was so any response from them. After the lock down the shop was permanently closed and other branches was also closed and unable to contact any of theirs number. This is really bad to cheat like this on the middle class and poory people. If any body can find there details pls do report on them.

We had invested 20 gm gold at 1999/gm in Aug'2017 for my children's marriage and it was matured in Aug'2020
Now we came to know that all shops are closed in Chennai.
All phone numbers were deactivated.
KFJ Managing director Mr.Sujit Cherian, his wife Mrs. Dhanya, two children, Johaan and Joel had left the city with all our hard earned money and enjoying with looted money.
Requesting all to highlight this fraud in social media and tag to state home minister, central home minister and Modi. Also requesting all to complaint this in near by police station so that some action will be taken by government authorities. Also share this information through WhatsApp/Signal/Facebook/Twitter as many as possible so that others may not become prey in this type of schemes.
If we all unite, we can get some justice by putting Cherian and Dhanya in jail.

We purchased one gold bond from KFJjewellers in 2018 with maturity date falls in Jan 2021. It is understood the jewellers had closed all the shops and no information about the whereabouts.
As I am at hyderabad now unable to make any complaints

This complaint is regarding kfj bond of gold scheme. I have booked 25 grams of gold @ rs.1999/- on 18th January 2018 under this scheme and my maturity date is 18th January 2021 which is the locking period. Recently in news i saw some big issues going on in kfj and they refuse make what is agreed or claimed by them in the bond. They neither pay as gold nor as money and they keep on extending the dates and the cheque are being returned in bank due to no money.

I am from a middle class family, Please help me in getting this issue fixed and refund my above said amount. when i get this amount back i will be very thankful to you and your serving team ever. Thanks!

My self and my wife 2 persons invested bond of gold scheme, nearly 2 lakhs invested on 9.8.2017, the same was matured on 9.8.2020, when we checked the shop at valasaravakkam the shop was closed, no one has available, and no one has responded

KFJ cheated in gold saving scheme

I am Basha booked 160 graams of gold @ Rs.1, 999/- per gram and deposited Rs. 3, 19, 840/- on[protected] at KFJ, Mylapore shop.
I came to know that they have closed all shops.
Now I don't know what happened to my money.
Please anybody having information about this subject, write to me or post in public media.

I am susan, joined a gold scheme with kerala fashion jewellery in 2018 january and i paid rs.33000/- in that gold scheme for my daughter's marriage purpose. I'm a widow and struggling to survive with my 2 daughters. Last year (2019) may i went there for closing this account. They collected the order for gold aganist my gold scheme. They told me to come and contact in dec.2019 end and i went there the shop was closed. They cheated me . Not only me many poor people like me. Sir please try to get my money back . It will be very helpful for my family.

Myself, wife and my sister brought bond of gold (34gms) indifferent dates. They failed to honour us during maturity. Shop remains closed. Kindly help us to get back the same

This complaint is regarding KFJ bond of gold scheme. I paid Rs. 409, 795 and have booked 205 grams of gold @ Rs. 1, 999 on 23rd July 2017 under this scheme. The maturity date is 23rd July 2020 with 3 years locking period.

In Dec’19 there were news that KFJ business is in trouble and when I visited the Valsaravakkam branch, the shop was closed with a notice requesting time from customer for them to come out of their difficulties and back in business shortly. After the maturity of the bond, I visited their Mylapore branch which is closed with the same notice stuck on the grill.

I am from a middle-class family and have invested this hard earned plus my 2 daughters’ savings for their future wedding. I will be very thankful if your team could help me to recover my hard-earned invested amount.

I invested RS 100000/- in the KFJ bond of gold scheme to book 50 GM's in the year 2017 August 18, it will be matured or end the 3 year lock period in 18 August 2020.
Already I send many mail regarding above cited, but there is no response. When I called your shop also no response. Why this type habit. Once matured you have to provide the gold as per kfj bond of gold scheme.
Plz reply immediately and provide Ur contact no. This amount I did not get easily, after more hard work only I got it.
Plz don't try cheat me...plz return my gold or money immediately.

I have purchased a Bond of Gold Scheme from Kerala Fashion Jewellery for 19, 999/- on 17th August 2017 for a tenure of 3 years. Today when I tried to buy gold for the matured bond, I came to know that I had been cheated in the name of Kerala Fashion Jewellery. These kind of fraudsters should be brought into the books of justice and punished. No one in future should become a prey to these fraudulent. Please take action on this and help me to get back my money at the earliest.

I had paid 52000 as monthly savings under 36 months scheme, but i have not received my money back. They gave one letter stating they will pay the money in instalments from jan 2020 within four months, it is march 3rd till now there is no information or payment, we cannot contact them, the shop is closed. Mr. Sunil cherian, it is my hard earned money i had deposited in your company, if you were not in a position to pay the money you should not have collected it. Your number is always busy, have some courtesy to reply as you have eaten all people's money. Arrange to give all our money back, how come you are keeping quite.
