time delay, bad service and mental and physical health compromised

On 6th march 2020, i take a 6 pm shared taxi from international airport with a driver "lala" and it was his 3rd day at the job, he did not know how to use the maps, and he went into wrong by-lanes and took forever to even reach the highway. He kept asking the passengers to tell him the way. Finally when we were outside the city, we smell smoke coming from the engine. We tell the driver and he claims it is just a smell of "old socks" and tries to dismiss it. Horrified, we insist that he stops and checks it out because it smelt like some wires were being burnt in the engine. And sure as hell, after we check, the engine is all smokes. He decides it will be okay, if we don't use the ac. Skeptical, we chug along and realise that no other window but mine (Next to the driver seat) opens, so basically i had to keep my window open and breathe the dirty truck air, when i was already suffering from lung infection. The driver took in total six and a half hours to reach the destination, of the otherwise three and half hour journey. I call their customer care and describe the situation while i am still in the cab, and somebody from the company reassures me that i don't have to pay the amount due because of the inconvenience caused. But out of courtesy, i pay them half the amount, because the driver gets emotional about worrying they might sack him.
The next day (Today) i get abusive calls from their company, some female, who refused to listen to the account, demanding full payment. The driver is with her. I shut them up and ask them to make a senior. I get incessant calls from multiple numbers, they even passed my personal number to the driver, who repeatedly calls me asking me to pay. Fed up, i call their head office in pune and lodge another complaint against the nasik office, explaining that they were mentally harassing me. They tell me i won't receive any calls further, but it is 10 pm in the night and i am getting calls from endless numbers, all different people, asking me to pay. I finally told them i will sue if they called again, and ask them to compensate for my time, my lung infection because of the horrible journey, and for the mental harassment.
If anyone knows how to tackle this, please tell me.

goons drivers of kk travels

I get a message with the car number and the driver details as mh-15-ee-7779 and a different car comes to pick me up. No details of the driver given.
The drivers attitude was very arrogant from the very beginning.
Very rude service of the driver. He asks me to get down on the busy jvlr highway. That too in busy heat. He theatens to wisk me away to the international airport. The driver and the vehicle details that came to me by sms were totally different from the actual vehicle.
The management is so irresponsible that they do not have an escalation matrix. There is no manager available to talk to. There owner they say is unavailable.
Horrible and nightmarish experience. The drivers are like goons and the owner is invisible. Pay the money and get tortured by the drivers.

travel from pune to mumbai airport: 28th july 2017
Hi,
I have travelled from pune to mumbai on 28th by private cab-mh12 kn-1456. Need to share my feedback.
Vehicle was not at all comfortable. Whole vehicle was vibrating continuously due to which i got body ace badly. When i made a complaint to the driver he was giving me an excuse that vehicle doesn’t loaded by passenger so its vibrating as if i haven’t travelled alone in big vehicle. Such type of vehicle might have caused casualty.
Request you to take care of my complaint and refrain sending such vehicles. We need to my our journey happy and not with pain.

Unprofessional Behaviour

I travelled from Pune to Mumbai airport on KK Travels charter cab on 15 February 2017 (PNR No. [protected]CH11). I had booked a Toyota Etios nearly three days before the date of departure and they sent an old vehicle despite assuring that they would send Toyota Etios. When I called their office to complain they provided no logical explanation. If the specified vehicle was not available then the least they could have done was to give me a call and informed me about it - they did not. I requested to speak with the Director and they refused to connect or provide me with his number. Moreover, the air-conditioner of the car stopped working mid-way and the rest of the journey was most uncomfortable as we were travelling in the afternoon.
I am thoroughly disappointed with their attitude towards the customer and wonder how they can call themselves an ISO[protected] company. I need a refund from them for not sending the vehicle promised and for the breakdown of the air-conditioner resulting in discomfort for the passenger.

Worst Nightmare : Endangered Safety

Sharing my recent ( worst ) experience with KK travels on 30th Jan 2017 :
I had booked my BOM T2 airport to Pune travel from KK travels . Once I was out of the airport around 2 am, I could see few folks standing with KK travels banner . It was a relief to see them . But it didn't last longer . They asked us to wait for 5 min and we ended up waiting 45 - 60 mins . No professionalism at all . The person who was co-ordinating with travelers was constantly on call . Somehow our journey started after the initial hick-ups .
This is by far the most unsafe journey we ever had . The driver was constantly stopping the car at unknown dark places . He took atleast 3 stops before leaving Mumbai . Also he had stopped the car into a slum area which was the scariest part . It was clearly visible that he was a novice at driving . He did a rash driving and didn't even slow down at any speed breakers . I even got a back sprain . The worst thing was he was feeling asleep throughout our travel and was switching the lanes from first to last . Not sure if he was drunk . There were few instances when I thought he would bump the car into divider or into the truck . It took us 4 hrs to reach Pune which included multiple stops by the driver to keep him awake . Also in between, he was opening the window, so that wind helps him keep awake . But it was so much of discomfort to us . Driver told us that he had already informed kk travels that he was already sleepy and didn't want to take the night ride and yet he was forced to do so . Hence endangering our life's .
After 27 hrs of intercontinental flight, this mum to pune Journey, was our worst nightmare . I would suggest you all not to take KK travels if you are traveling at night time .

Fraud KK travels

I booked cab to pick me up from Mumbai airport and drop was at phase2 hinjewadi Pune on 15th june 2015.
Driver took around 6hrs to drop me.When I asked driver that why its taking him so long then he told me that he was not clear that he has to drop me at phase2 pune.The drivers are not properly instructed and in between of the route all the passengers were shifted to the other cab of kk travels.My time got wasted and when I called the manager of kk travels that I wont give money to the driver.He disagreed and insisted me to pay full money. I just want to convey all if you are thinking to rely on kk travels then please don't waste your time and money.

Money not refunded and no service provided

I booked a ticket online on KK Travels from Nashik to Mumbai Airport for 2nd April 2015 for Rs.900/- (shared cab). I filled in the relevant details and called KK Travels afterwards to confirm my booking. They agreed to pick me up on the given time on 2nd April at 20:00 hrs. I waited on 2nd April at given time but no CAB came to pick me up at my residence (pickup point). Afterwards, when I called them, they said that we cannot come to your place as we couldn’t find the address and we called you but nobody picked up the phone. They told me to come at a certain point within 15 min. I said OK, but then they said that we cannot pick you up as we are getting late. I said please wait till I reach but they ignored my request and went without taking me. It was very stressful situation for me and I didn’t knew what to do. At last, I hired a private cab and paid them Rs. 2500/- to reach the airport otherwise I would have missed my flight. Afterwards, I called them and said as you have not provided me the service, please cancel my booking and return back my money which I paid upfront. They said OK, but till today I have not received money back in my account. I emailed them to request to refund my money back but they gave some or the other reason and are refusing to return back my money.

Bad Service and mental harassment

My booking was confirmed for Pune to Mumbai Airport dated 29-Apr-14 at 4:00 AM for 1 person.

I called your company at 3 in morning and I was told that the cab driver “Chetan” is going to come and pick up between 3-4 AM. At 3:45 I again called up and I asked the number for the driver. On calling the driver he told me it’s going to take another 20 mins (4:15) to arrive to my destination and that he is picking other passenger’s.
On calling him again at 4:20 AM the cab driver “Chetan” told me that he is going to take another 20 mins to arrive and it’s because he wasn’t assigned to do his duty at this hour and was told in last moment . He also mentioned that all other passenger’s has cancelled and that he is arranging for a small cab and then going to pick me up.
On hearing this, I had to rush to the railway station at 4:30 in the morning to arrange for another cab because it was too late and I wasn’t sure that the cab is actually going to arrive on time.
I have been using KK Travels quite frequently and I must tell that the service has been degrading day by day. This has been the third instance where something like this has happened with me.
1st instance, when the cab was supposed to pick me up between 3-4 but shifted my pick up timings between 5-6 wihtout imforming me simply because I stay in Kalyani Nagar and they had to pick some other passenger’s from Kalyani Nagar.
My flight was at 10:00 AM and I reached at 9:15 AM to catch my flight by luck.
Second instance happened when the cab dint turn up at all and then when KK Travels call center stopped picking up my calls.
My mother was supposed to be travelling alone and because of their unprofessional service she was totally harassed and had to take so much of trouble.
This kind of service should be escalated and some stict action should be taken. Every year thier rates keep on increasing but their services keep degrading.
In case any passanger misses thier flight, the company should be asked to reimburse the full amount.

Online Fraud KK Travels

Hi,
During an online booking, due to connection issue the credit card company deducted the money yet I didnt receive any confirmation page nor message from KK Travels. I called and requested KK Travels to revert the transaction.
This started an ordeal.
It has been almost 4 weeks... I have already called them 11 times, 7 emails have been written. Yet the issue is unresolved from their end. All the details requested by them were shared by me long back. The credit card company cant revert the transaction as the booking charge has been levied by them for a cab service I never used.

Cab not arrived even after confirmed booking
I booked a cab from Pune to Mumbai airport on 18th for journey dated 20th and received the confirmation mail and the amount was deducted from my credit card. But on 20th no cab arrived for the pickup. When I called up customer care, they said no booking was done. When I mailed them the confirmation receipt on [protected]@kktravels.com, they argued that their system does not show any such booking and so they cannot do anything. What the hell is this? I received the mail from [protected]@kktravels.com and amount was deducted from my card and these guys just say they don't know anything and they cannot do anything about this. This is simply a case of fraud when you guys charge the money on my card and send us confirmation mail and do not do any booking.
The customer care guys are so rude that they instead shout at us that it is not their fault since their system is not showing anything. The confirmation mail of the receipt that I received from their system holds no importance to them. These guys didn't even bother to inform us that booking has not been done even when I have already received the confirmation receipt by email.
Finally I had to book Wings radio cabs and reached airport just in time.

KK TRAVEL NO RESPONSIBILITY
DEAR SIR / MDM .
My name T.Athesivam. I came for tour to India and stayed in Chennai. My return flight to Malaysia is on 22nd April 10.00a.m from Trichy . So I came to KK Travels 38/10 Burkit road T.Nagar Chennai-17BOOKING AGENT-SIVA TRAVELS( phone no.24343767/[protected] on 20th April and booked ticket SL.no 019 / seat no. RU5 for journey on 21st April at 10.00pm so I can reach to Trichy the next morning.
Once I reach at the bus and got up I was shocked to see that seat is given to other passenger. When I go and complaint to the person incharge, they ask me to cancel the ticket or take other tansport . Is this the way INDIA TRAVELS treat a foreigner ! I have no choice than sleep at the walking area in the same bus if not I will miss my flight. I feel very ambaressed and disapointed that the travels agency simply can ask to
cancel the ticket! . This India trip give a bad memory to me that I can't forget in future if I return to India again My request is please take responsibility to foreigners passengers and hope this incident won't happen in future.
