mahindra rodeo self start problem

Namaste... I purchased mahindra rodeo on 2011at vzm., a. P.. Actually it ran 12000 km aproxmately.. But iam continuesly facing problem with self stat.. I have knee pain but this vehicle made my knee pain horrible.. Recently battery replced with 9 ah.. But no use..
Vehicle showed in mahindra showroom. They are telling self motor problem.. Once changed self motor also but it was burnt with in one mont.. Show room boy is telling no guarentee for self motor.. Is it true..
Plss any one suggest the solution..

After consecutive repair at Sethi motors Aurangabad (MH) the rodeo is giving trouble

We have only one dealer for rodeo in Aurangabad .
sethi motors is the name.
my rodeo was purchase din 2012.
since last few weeks it has started to give trouble.
it does not start at all.
few days back I gave it for repair at the authorised dealer, but again next day same problem occurs.
they ont have proper mechanics it seems .
it is not u to the mark .
change the dealership here, or ask them to improve their services.

Dear Mahindra Member i purchase Mahindra rodeo 2013 and digital meeter is not working and reboot and milage is very poor 25 kmpl and company provide milage is 60 so company will cheat the customer after sale no service is poor and not responding properly. kindly help me..

I have Mahindra Rodeo, which is not starting with self and kick. I have raised complaint to customer care number [protected] (complaint number INB11514) as well as near by authorized dealer (Agarwal Motors phone numbers -->[protected],[protected]
Even after 10-20 calls there is still no resolution. Nobody even bother to entertain my complaint.
I am suffering from last 2 days because of pathetic response. br...

I was purchase Mahindra Rodeo in oct. 2011 from Haryana Auto Agencies, Gurgaon but from purchasing i have facing a problem with Rodeo. Many time i inform to service engineer on time Scooty service but till date i don't get any solution. Main Problem is that when i increase speed on road then i feel that scooty engine power slow down and increase power slowly and it's mileage in too bad.

workshop not repairing vehicle properly

this is deepak kumar sahu ,from durg (cg), i m the owner of rodeo cg-07 LX-9427 , i have some complaint against your workshop RC motors raipur that i send my veh in workshop for repairing purpose (like electrical fault) since date 15/06/2013 until now i am not get any sattisfication response from dealer or worshop.persnally time i visit to le workshop but no body giving any exact thing or time of repaire.and costing 5000/- for repair charge and again ask to pay 3500/- to me.
i m facing too much problem due to your bad servise so plz guide me what i do or tell me where i go to take my veh for repaire as soon as possible,

Harassment & pathetic after sales service

Hi,
I am Sujit Mukherjee living in Pune contact number [protected].
I am facing continuous problems with Rodeo and its service provider. I bought it in Aug'2010 from their authorized showroom (earlier Tanisk Motors / P.B. motors and now shifted to Kothrud) in Senapati Bapat road.. Once they got the payment and delivered the Rodeo; it was shameless reaction from the management whenever I interacted with them... I have gone through huge frustration till now and finally decided to take this step. Below are the harassments I have faced so far.. Most worst people I met was the manager of the showroom.
1) Just after 2 days Electric start stopped working and I had to kick start the Rodeo everytime. I called the showroom for help. Initially I was reluctant to go for it as I live in Kharadi and the showroom is ~25 Km away from my place. I asked them about the nearest service centre and they said it will be in Yerwada (which is ~ 10 Km from my place). Later on they denied that statement and said there is no service centre in Yerwada, I have to bring my Rodeo to their showroom only.
2) They also promised that if I face any problem to bring it to their service centre, they will collect it from my place and deliver after doing required work. For this I have to pay one side cost and rest will be by the company. Later on they denied the same also.
3) I brought that Rodeo to their centre and they asked me leave it for 1 day and I was thinking how to go back to my place and then again come next day to pick it from there!!!! Anyhow I managed to do the same. But the same problem happened again after couple of days and I had to do the same hectic activity of dropping and picking my Rodeo to the service centre which as I mentioned earlier is ~25 Km away. This time they said they have changed the entire start-up kit so there will be no problem.
4) Within 1 month I noticed that the petrol is licking from the bottom portion of the foot rest. I called them and they asked me to bring it to the centre. And after 1 day, they said they changed the tank.
5) Mileage was promised as 50KMPL but it started with 30KMPL and everytime I complain them they say after this servicing it will be more than 45KMPL (noteable point is everytime they say, “Iss baar servicing ke baad agar 45 nahi dia to aap ek call karna Hum gaadi aap ke ghar se ley ke aayenge...”. even after servicing it for nearly 2 years it is still 30-35 KMPL.
6) After couple of days of 2nd servicing of Rodeo, accelerator wire torn out and I again had to call them and agreed to pay the “@*@X& “charges they asked. Surprisingly, when I asked the mechanic who came to repair it, He said “Sir, last time servicing ke time pe water chala gaya tha... shayaad thik se Greesing nahi kia.....”. I was stunned to know that I have paid for their fault!!!! I called the manager and as usual he denied... “Aisa ho hi nahi sakta... Hum kuch nahi kar saktey hai...”
7) Within 4 months, one of the head lights was not working and to repair it again I had to go to their centre.
8) Now all of a sudden I received a call from them stating if I have any issue with my Rodeo. I told them about my experience and they transferred my call to their servicing manager / in charge. I explained him and then he advised me that he is new in this post and want to review and resolve all pending issues but I have to drop the Rodeo there and now they have changed the location to Kothrud which is even more far than earlier location. I denied and said I don’t want to spend my time and money on this anymore. He then said he is sending someone to pick it from my place.. I was surprised and thought they might have changed the management. They picked the Rodeo from my place and in the evening informed me that Rodeo is ready but I have to collect it. I went there and they gave me a huge bill (even it was supposed to be a free servicing) including Pick-up charges..!!!!!! I told them that one side cost should be born by the company and if I am collecting then why shoud I pay? Then routed me to showroom manager and I found that the showroom manager is the same old person and answer was known to me... “Sir, Aisa kahi likha hai to dikhaiye...”..
I think this is enough to conclude that this company will do anything (including big big false commitment) to sale their products and then turn their face off saying “Likha hai to dikhaiye..”
Note: I am using the word “This Company” as for me that manager was wearing the uniform of Mahindra and was there as the face of the company..

Poor Mileage

I purchased my RODEO from Alvi Motors Madurai 1 year back.It gives me a very poor mileage of 20kmpl.There will be a problem in Servising my scooter.Now I am in chennai. I bring my scooter for free service in Annanagar Servivce center.They wont did any thing and just waterwashed my vehicle and delivered in the evening itself.No fault was attended.Kindly help me to get complete service and better mileage.

performance of vehicle and bad compliance of servicing center

I HAVE PURCHASED MAHINDRA RODEO FROM VARDHMAN MOTORS MEERUT ON 10 JAN 2011.FROM Jan OF THIS YEAR IT WAS SHOWING A LOT OF ENGINE PROBLEM REGARDING SLOW PICKUP, AVERAGE ETC.I GAVE MY SCCOTY FOR FREE SERVICING IN THE SHOWROOM.IN THAT FREE SERVICING THEY HAVE DONE SOME ENGINE WORKS AND CHARGED US AROUND RS600 AGAIN SAME PROBLEM OCCURED AND WE DEPOSITED SCOTY IN SHOROOM FOR SERVICING ON 19 JULY 2012.AFTER COMPLETION OF SERVICING I HAVE CHECKED AFTER TEST DRIVE. IT WAS AGAIN SHOWING SAME PROBLEM.TILL NOW THEY HAVE ALREADY CHARGED US 800RS IN FREE SERVICING AND AGAIN THE PROBLEM IS NOT RECTIFIED.AFTER I MORE TEST DRIVE THE MECHANIC REACHES IN THE CONCLUSION THAT ITS CLUTCH SHOES ARE VANISHED AND ARE REQUIRED TO BE CHANGED.HE IS SAYING THAT THEY ARE NOT COMING IN WARRENTY PARH AND HE WILL CHARGED RS600 MORE.IS THEIR ANYONE WHO IS LOOKING AFTER THAT WHAT IS GOING ON OR IG JUST LIKE THAT TAKING ANY AMOUNT OF MONEY FROM THE CUSTOMERS IN SAKE OF FREE SERVICING OR THEY ARE NOT BOTHERING ABOUT COMPANIES REPUTATION.SO PLEASE LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND PLEASE GIVE US A LIST OF MAHINDRA RODEO PARTS COMES UNDER WARRENTY CHANGE

Self start problem

I had purchased mahindra Rodeo from SNP Motors Mysore Karnataka in Oct 2010. For first 6 months the vehicle was good. After 6 months my scooter never starts with self start i have to use kick start that too 10 to 15 times i have try to start the vehicle. I had replaced the battery thrice, I had complained with consumer care of Mahindra, for the first mail they replied and assured that the associate of mahindra will contact us to provide the solution for the problem. Nobody has contacted us, Afterwards i had mailed them several times till now no reply from them. please guide me what shall i do now?

MAHINDRA RODEO — Problem in self start
Hi , I have purchase Mahindra Rodeo from Roshal Automobiles, Dombivli-East. Right from the day one i have started experiencing problem of self start with the vehicle. We have changed the battery also but nothing happened. Even we lodged the complaint on Mahindra site they attended the same but of no use problem continues. I understand from our people also that they are also facing the same problem. I have once again lodged complaint with them lets see what happended. Helpful

third class mahindra scooter with in one year i started getting problem and the service center guys at mumbai mira road shreei auto are also third class people they dont have manners to talk to customers ....i gave my rodeo for service but they dont solved my self start problem and they also dont wash the bike they just make it look wet when customer comes....and the main problem is the parts of the bike only gets in showroom not in other local garage.....so friends i advise u not 2 buy mahindra two wheelers....

I am Regrating purchase of RODEO in Nov 2010 from SAI PRANAV Automobiles,Bearing Engine Number PFEAK361931.
Events of Issues.
1. 15 days after taking delivery of vehicle Speedometer panel was replaced because it started showing 75000+ KM.
2. After 10 days of 1st service Started getting running stop.
3. Faulty Display of fuel contents. Even Tank had 2 ltrs of fuel it shows empty tank, and suddenly it shows full.
4. This problem still exist after 1 and half year.
5. After 4 months of running one morning found that vehicle is not self starting, reason found that bettry was completely drained.
6. Battery recharged by Sai Pranav but after 2 months same thing happen.
7. withing 6 months Accelator wire broken.
8. after every service withing 15 days I had to take vehicle to service center for Running stop problem.
9. Again Battery drained out, Sai pravan replace battery with spare one and send battry for replacement, and In a moths time by the time get bettry replaced from comapny again spare battery drained out.
10. So Sai Pranav replaced new battery in month of Sep 2011.
11. in Month of oct 2011 vehical stoppen completely, even not started after putting 100 Kicks, Sai pravan took the vehicle and said that spark plug is completely gone.
12. In month of Nov 2011 again battry drained out, so Sai Pranav replace battery charging circuit and recharged the Battery and assured that this will not happen.
13. Month of December 2011 Battery Drained and developed Running off proble.
14. in Dec end 2011, I Moved to Bangalore.
15. on 5th January I send my vehicle CVS Motors, They took 2 days to resolves Running off issue and charged battery.
16. Feb 12, 2012 Vehical stop self starting, shows that battery is fully drained again. Since that day onwards I am using by kick start.
17. On 17th March, while I was driving vehicle at speed of 45 KMPL suddenly the Accelator got Jammed and vehicle was not stopping, and somehow manage to stop vehicle by turning KEY at off position, but vehicle skided.
Whenever I complained to sai pranav management they said we are rectifying the issues and this will never happen again. and every time this is happening.,

very poor service

Hi,
Im from mumbai and my name is Neelam Parmar.
I took Mahendra Rodeo at 21st Oct 2010 and I purchased my bike from S.K. Auto (Goregaon West, Mumbai) and now this dealership has been closed so dont know where to give my bike for servicing.
Also im facing hell lot of problems with my bike.
As of now my bike is not in a working condition. The display of my bike is totally gone and it doesnt starts. Also I called in customer care department many times and was being told that the service engineer from mumbai is going to call me but not yet received any call.
After sales service tor this vehicle is very poor. All my hard,earned money which I have spent on this bike is totally gone. Im regretting myself.
As mahendra being a brand name and also they provide very good services for 4 wheelers then why dont they provide good service for two wheelers?
As I was not getting any response from customer service thats why im forcefully writing this E mail. I hope will get a positive reply and somebody will take pains from your team to solve this issue.

As of now my bike is not in a working condition. The display of my bike is totally gone and it doesnt starts. Also I called in customer care department many times and was being told that the service engineer from mumbai is going to call me but not yet received any call.
After sales service tor this vehicle is very poor. All my hard,earned money which I have spent on this bike is totally gone. Im regretting myself.
As mahendra being a brand name and also they provide very good services for 4 wheelers then why dont they provide good service for two wheelers?
As I was not getting any response from customer service thats why im forcefully writing this E mail. I hope will get a positive reply and somebody will take pains from your team to solve this issue.

NOT GETTING THE SPARE PARTS FROM THE COMPANY

I purchased the Mahindra RODEO on October 17th, 2010, from NAVNEET AUTOMOBILES, Panvel, Maharashtra.. From last 5 months my vehicles' Digital meter is not at all working properly, some times it indicates as if there is no petrol and some time automatically it indicates as if the petrol is full and THE DIGITAL METER WORKS EVEN WHEN THE ENGINE IS OFF AND EVEN WHEN YOU TAKE OUT THE KEY, WHICH MEANS IT IS WORKING 24/7 AND 365 DAYS WITHOUT REQUIRING THE KEY, AND IT IS CAUSING SEROUS PROBLEM TO BATTERY. When I went to the dealer NAVNEET AUTOMOBILES for arround 8 times he just replace the digital meter with the old one, which only indicates petrol & RPM (No Speed. No KMS. Nothing) which is really irritating me, and when I asked the service incharge at NAVNEET AUTOMOBILES, he states that HE IS NOT GETTING THE SPARE PARTS FROM THE COMPANY AND HE CAN NOT DO ANY THING UNTIL HE GETS THE SPAREPARTS. Is this how Mahindra Work? Why you people are misguiding with a milage of 50-55 where as my RODEO is giving only 24-25 KMPL since date of purchase. I was very disappointed when company like mahindra is doing things.

now i wish to convey u r that the scooter is giving only 25 km/l mileage and the under chassis is striking on each and every speed breakers and everywhere .
as the petrol cost is Rs;72 and its going to reach more soon. i cannot use a scooter which gives 25km/l and there are some other drawbacks on u r model.during the first ,second and third services carried out the mileage complaint was not rectified and i have already mailed to mahindra on 21/05/2011 and your person asked to take to showroom and the problem will be rectified and i have done that too,mileage tuning has been done more than 7 times by your people and the problem still exists and service center says mileage cannot be corrected anymore ... so rodeo can give only this much fuel efficiency. but during time of purchase sales team committed a mileage of 50km/l, at least 45km/l. i consider this as a fact of cheating.

Mahindra & mahindra — Cheating Quality & Mileage
I recently bought a Mahindra Rodeo two wheeler from Mahindra & Mahindra.1. Dealer while buying said,
Quality is excellent, and you will have a 2 year warranty.
After just using the scooter Rodheo for 3 months,
1. Side indicators (lamps) stopped working.
2. Side stand alarm intermittently gives false alarm
3. Speedo meter sometimes stops working. I have to restart by scooter to run it again.
4. Milleage is worst in scooters segments just giving only 30 KMPH. even after 2nd service done.
Dealer cheated us by saying millege of this scooter is atleast 45 KMPH, but it only giving 30 KMPH.
I advise don't buy Mahindra scooters....They are very poor in Quality.
100% agree, Same blood here also. but they decided to cheat.

POOR PERFORMANCE
I have bought a Mahindra Rodeo scooter on 06.09.2010. I liked the features of the vehicle. But to my utter disgust and dismay, I am getting a poor performance start up and running OFF regularly. I am at a loss to understand as to why a reputed Company like Mahindra who have established their credibility in four wheeler vehicles have come with two wheelers with such poor performance. It’s a cruel injustice and a crime against the consumers who are being trapped by the Company and its dealers. I will never advise my friends to go for a Mahindra two wheeler Vehicle. I have come across umpteen number of Mahindra two wheeler owners who are feeling cheated by the company. It’s high time that the Company should wake up and do something to improve the mileage of the scooters. If they are unable to do it, better they should wind up and quit two wheeler manufacturing. The existing customers should also be compensated. If the Company is not coming forward with an immediate solution, I will form a consumers’ forum and file proper complaint with the Consumer Complaints Redressal Cell besides filing case in the court. In fact, my friends suggested me to buy Activa Scooter which gives good performance and mileage. I chose to buy Mahindra because I trusted the Company which has a long standing in the market and I was quite sure that the company would certainly come out with good performance and fuel efficient vehicle. But my trust and belief was belied. I am giving my address and expect the Company to give a response.

Fuel tank leakage

Dear sir,
I purchased mahindra rodeo scooty in last year. In five months the veh gives some troubles like (one way clutch and engine problem) at that time i registered a complaint regarding that to Regional office pune. Some parts of the veh are replace by the service centre at vellore, TN. The parts of the veh are also sent to Pune for clearance and replacement, but the same have not received till date. You are requested to do needful at the earlest.
As if now, in the veh fule tank has been leaking.
In view of the above you are requested to instruct Service centre vellore, TAMIL NADU to check the complete veh.
An early action is requested please.

My two-wheeler ”Mahindra-Rodeo” registered with following details:
Registered Name : B. SUSEELA RANI.
Chassis Number : MCDFRIBIUAIM79666
Registration Date : 6/01/2011, Dealer Code : DA358
Agency : ARN MOTORS, 74-A, Salai Road, Thillai Nagar, Trichy-620018.
The two-wheeler was running satisfactorily upto 2 free services done by ARN Motors also the mileage was only 30 to 32, I ride it with the speed of 35 to 40 kmph only. I mentioned it at 3rd Service, but they didn’t consider that and said that we will look at the 4th service.
The 4th free service was given on : with the following complaints:-
1. Brake was more free.
2. Mileage was only 30 to 32 per litre
3. Vehicle vibrates more when its idle and also at the speed of 45kmph.
4. Headlight when put on was not facing road (Making it long beam and in Low beam is same).
Not even a single complaint was resolved when I took the 2wheeler. The persons who attend it are:
Mr. Manikandan – Supervisor, Mr. Sethu Madhavan – Service Manager. They simply water wash my bike and changed the Engine oil only. Even they didn’t charge the battery itself, and asked me to come tomorrow to get the battery by giving a standby battery to me. Our bike crossed 9600KMS while giving service. The Service Technician said that in Mahindra 2wheelers the suspensions will create problem when it crossed 9000KMS stating on vehicle vibration. Is that true ?. I asked the service technician to check the mileage, but they didn’t look at it.
I bought this 2wheeler in reason that the good name and market value that MAHINDRA has.
I’ve remaining 4 free services. How can I give for the service again when a customer is not satisfied?.
I’ve finally decided not to leave for the worst service by ARN MOTORS, I’ll look after it.
I request to respond and take necessary action against this issue.

Less Mileage

I have bought a Mahindra Rodeo scooter 6 months back. I was impressed by the features of the vehicle. But to my utter shock the mileage is about 20kmpl. When I contacted them they assured giving false representations, they asked me to wait for first servicing for increase of mileage. Later it started giving about 28 kmpl, once again i contacted them and the same happened they asked me to wait for second servicing too...but all in vain no use. Even after taking my vehicle to them for several times there is no increase in mileage. They undergone all the testings but the company failed their promises in advertising mileage of 50 km per liter through dealer. I am at a confused state to understand why such a reputed Company like Mahindra have come with two wheelers with such poor mileage. Either if they have mentioned the same intially it depends upon the interest of the purchaser to buy or not with less mileage. In the present day the price of petrol is like catching sky for a middle man. I am feeling sorry for myself to choose such a vehicle. The worst one I have seen is RODEO WITH 25kmpl...Comparitively this vehicle is worst then the racers bikes.It is against to law and I need justification under Consumer Law and for mental agony. If they are unable to do it, better they should wind up and quit two wheeler manufacturing. The existing customers should also be compensated. If the Company is not coming forward with an immediate solution, I will form a consumers’ forum and file proper complaint with the Consumer Complaints Redressal Cell besides filing case in the court.

i brought mahindra rodeo on 6th of June, its a very gud vehicle in terms of features but the mileage is worse than a car. in the starting it gave me 27 kms per liter. after repeated visits to the service center its giving 40. if you don wanna take the trouble of service center visits don buy this vehicle. . .

Silencer breakdown

Dear Sir,
I have purchased mahindra rodeo on 8th March 2010 from mahaveer motors ,BTM layout bangalore . From the day of purchase it has some or other problem.
Company has given in written that 2 years warrenty for parts but whenever there is any problem in any part they are telling it in not under warrenty.
Recently on 9th May ,2011 my rodeo's silencer fall down when i was driving my vehicle.
It was because of screw which broke from inside and half screw was inside silencer and half fell down.
because of that silencer was broken from middle and when i complained them about this they are telling that it does not fall under warrenty.
In their given warrenty card Silencer 's name is not there in any excluded part so it means it is included in warrenty.
More over this all happened because of low quality parts used by mahindra .
The quality was such a low that iron screw was broken by it self and because of which i need to bear a heavy loss .
When I explained this entire issue to them they are telling that they can not do anything and they will charge me for all repairing which happened due to company's low quality spare parts
I have photos of all this damage with me.
I would like to file a complain against mahaveer motors and mahindra company for the same .
Hoping some favourable reply.

i puechased mahindra rodeo on 22.12.2010 from monu motors, tonk road jaipur rajasthan but from then problem of battery discharging arises DUE TO WHICH VEHICLE COULD NOT SELF START. until today five times i handover vehicle to sort out the problem. every time they charged battery & given us back but stii the problem comes

I am also facing the same issue. I have bought the scooter two months back and the battery has been replaced in the fist service and now again it is completely discharged.

I have purchased Rodeo from PSN Motors, Sankarayyar Road, a shop in Thrissur district and it also has similar starting trouble. The battery never gets chrged and this is the fourth time I am checking the battery in past three months.

The I have purchased Mahindra Rodeo, a one year ago. From the starting it is giving mileage of not more than 20 Kilo Meter per Litre. Even the Service centre has done lot of service and submitted the scooter for more 5 or 6 times for more than two days. and after getting from Service centre it is always just good washed nothing else. Please guide how to file case against the company in consumer court and get all the fuel charges which we I have made for driving. Even I have not Petrol bills but the Rodeo Meter can self describe. The worst scooter in average I have found. and even service centre are also helpless in giving service.

Even the Service centre has done lot of service and submitted the scooter for several times .and Surprisingly no mechanic was available in the service centre with proper qualification about the mechanism of RODEO.They are just washing the vehicle with water & cleaning the spark plug. Please guide how to file case against the company in consumer court and get all the fuel charges which we I have made for driving. Even I have not Petrol bills but the Rodeo Meter can self describe. I am not satisfied with my rodeo scooter...Because it is giving average of only 30 which is very less as compared to another scooters. I have purchased my scooter from max auto, saraswati vihar.. My registration number is DL11S-3985 and frame no is MCDFRIBIVAIE40684.... I have purchased the scooter on 18/07/2010...I am too not satisfied with the service centre of this dealer....

some details of my vehicle are as follows:
REGN NO. = UP 15 AN / 4757

DEALERS NAME AND CITY = BASALS MOTORS MEERUT CITY
we dont have enogh time and bansals are far away so unfortunately i went the other showroom/service centre of mahindra ie..... VARDHMAAN MOTORS MEERUT CITY.
I registered thz complaint against vardhmaan motors i have paid 600 to him for service on 13/2/2010 but i fond that my vehicle is not serviced and some parts of vehicle is also lost.i found that my vehicle only washed not serviced.and when i went to showroom for my complaints then they dont listen my complant they ignored my complaint and they didnot giave a tax invoice of paid rupees against my service

My two-wheeler ”Mahindra-Rodeo” registered with following details:

Registration Date : 6/01/2011, Dealer Code : DA358
Agency : ARN MOTORS, 74-A, Salai Road, Thillai Nagar, Trichy-620018.
The two-wheeler was running satisfactorily upto 2 free services done by ARN Motors also the mileage was only 30 to 32, I ride it with the speed of 35 to 40 kmph only. I mentioned it at 3rd Service, but they didn’t consider that and said that we will look at the 4th service.
The 4th free service was given on : with the following complaints:-
1. Brake was more free.
2. Mileage was only 30 to 32 per litre
3. Vehicle vibrates more when its idle and also at the speed of 45kmph.
4. Headlight when put on was not facing road (Making it long beam and in Low beam is same).
Not even a single complaint was resolved when I took the 2wheeler. The persons who attend it are:
Mr. Manikandan – Supervisor, Mr. Sethu Madhavan – Service Manager. They simply water wash my bike and changed the Engine oil only. Even they didn’t charge the battery itself, and asked me to come tomorrow to get the battery by giving a standby battery to me. Our bike crossed 9600KMS while giving service. The Service Technician said that in Mahindra 2wheelers the suspensions will create problem when it crossed 9000KMS stating on vehicle vibration. Is that true ?. I asked the service technician to check the mileage, but they didn’t look at it.
I bought this 2wheeler in reason that the good name and market value that MAHINDRA has.
I’ve remaining 4 free services. How can I give for the service again when a customer is not satisfied?.
I’ve finally decided not to leave for the worst service by ARN MOTORS, I’ll look after it.
I request to respond and take necessary action against this issue.

Rodeo - Faulty design, Less Reliable, Faulty Self/Kick Start Mechanism

We have purchased Mahindra Rodeo from SRI BHARGAVI MOTORS, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh in September 2010. Since then we have been facing lot of issues with Rodeo. The Self Start & Kick Start give problem frequently wherein the Rodeo will not start at all. Having a hard time starting the Rodeo with Kick Start, which is very rigid. The Digital meter is behaving erratically most of the time. Mileage is horrible and does not give 55KMPL which they falsely claim.
I have made a big mistake by purchasing this Rodeo from Mahindra. I have talked to several people and the reputation of Mahindra Rodeo(and other 2 wheeler vehicles from Mahindra) is very very bad in the market and I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone at all. The service from Mahindra is very very poor.
I hope Mahindra addresses these issues.
PLEASE NEVER BUY A MAHINDRA TWO WHEELER. THEY HAVE BIG ISSUES.

I have talked to several people and the reputation of Mahindra Rodeo(and other 2 wheeler vehicles from Mahindra) is very very bad in the market and I would never recommend this vehicle to anyone at all. The service from Mahindra is very very poor.
I hope Mahindra addresses these issues.
PLEASE NEVER BUY A MAHINDRA TWO WHEELER. THEY HAVE BIG ISSUES.

I am surprised with the response to my above post on this website. Mahindra responded with SMS asking me to contact SRI BARGHAVI MOTORS immediately and the next, I got followup call from the dealer asking about the problem I am facing and requesting me to bring the vehicle to the service center.
I will update my experience later. So far, I am surprised atleast with this response. I hope my Rodeo problems will be fixed permanently. I did lot of research with specs before buying this rodeo and I want to have a good experience and fun ride.

the self stater of the Mahendras Rodeo is shutting down due to error at spedo meter, the Management is saying that i could be rectified, the promise is stands still since 3 months no action was taken . The compaint may be rectified as soon as possible Syam

i bought mahindra rodeo from HK motors (maninagar) at the time of booking they told it will give an average of 55kmpl but after few weeks it just gave 25kmpl only.after 1st service the digits didnt changed.its wheel base is also very low. its petrol is sometimes evaporating from the sides of the petrol filling nosel.

thats right...Rodeo created lot of hype without testing it properly...RODEO is a complet failure and with a avg of 26 KMPL, it is unaffordable...the worst part is neither dealers or service centres addesses such issue...it seems Mr.Mahindra is completely unaware of ground reality...day is not so far when competetors will beat them in customer service.if anyone at Mahindra HO listening, can right to me at [protected]...

This is too much costly.
