Parking Charges Complaints & Reviews

With respect to above cited subject, i have experienced humiliating situation in mysore railway station where parking fee is being made compulsory even if you park your vehicles for minutes. If anyone wants to enter into railway station premises just for an inquiry or to drop someone, there is no parking facility which is for free to park vehicles for at least minutes. You can find only name plates of “no parking zone” everywhere in and around railway station premises and this is causing a lot of issues to the people who are coming there for the purpose of dropping their relatives or friends or for an inquiry. Having said that we don’t mind paying parking for hours together and i have done it previously. But i wonder why people need to be paying these authorities just parking for minutes. By placing the “no parking zone” plates everywhere, these organizations are forcing the people to park their vehicles and pay for it. Even parking contractors are charging excess fees from two-wheelers when the actual fee is less. It is a clear intention of these organizations to loot public money and nothing else. If these organizations really intend to help citizens then provide free parking zone where public can park their vehicles for minutes and if anyone found misusing this facility then they can obviously fine the guilty. Concerned authorities should consider and make changes in order to facilitate citizens.

As usual, the DDA/MCD Authorized parking next to Masjid at Select city Walk and DLF (saket) charges double the money every saturday and sunday. On asking for the notification from MCD or DDA they have none(which is expected), as per notification the parking contractor name and address needs to be placed prominently at the site, which again is not there (most probabaly its manoj computer world). Now they have gone ahead they have stamped the rates on the parking tickets (which is not authorized) it needs to be printed. if you confornt them they will say only rs 10/- This is happening from so many years now, yet both MCD and DDA says they don't know.

They have to take up this very seriously by both MCD and DDA

Today I went to Old Delhi Railway Station at 2.30 and I parked my vehicle in parking area just for five minutes. For that short time they charged Rs. 100/- for parking. It's just like a looting money from the people. I want to know is this Government approved rate or not. If it is not a approved rate of Gov. then what steps I have to taken for stop this crime and how can I get my money back. I am attaching a copy of slip here. Please find the attachment and pls give me a valuable guidance.

I want to complaint that the parking fee which is charged for a car is of Rs100 for 8-12 hrs. A person who has taken his car to the office due to will always come back after completing his shift which is of 10 hrs or 9hrs. Paying Rs 100 for car parking is not justified, earlier it was Rs 30 which was charged for the whole day, why a sudden increase in the charges. Already we are hearing that the Toll is going to increase, this way the Govt is making our life more and more difficult. The people who own the car parking place are SOM Enterprises, and there is no law to govern the car parking fee like MCD in Delhi. No one wants to take his/her own car but at times it becomes neccessary that you go to the office on your own convinince. For your reference if somebody is going to take any action against this unjustice, an officer should visit the car parking areas, near infinity Towers, there are three to four car parking areas and all of them have unity and they charge equal fees. Really not sure if some one is going to do anything about it, however as hope is the poor man's bread. So thought of writing it on this forum, either please inform me where direct my complaint.
