From last 2 months the status is 'It is to regret that due to unavoidable circumstances the despatch of Passport has been delayed and will now be despatched in a week's time '.

Please help me and do the needful to get the passport as soon as possible .br...

My wife have applied for the minor passport of our son on 4th Aug' 2008 under Tatkal Scheme. They told that the passport will ready on 8th August 2008. On that day my wife came to passport office to collect the passport. But they didn't gave the passport and told that the passport is not ready and will despatch soon. In your website when I checked the status it initially mentioned that passport would be despatched by 25th August....
