No option for account closure
PAYTM POSTPAID is not providing option for closure of account.
They are charging too much for delayed payments. So i want to deactivate the postpaid account, but the company is not providing proper options.
There is no proper customer care number, for any postpaid related queries on call, they are sending SMS link which is redirecting to PAYTM App help&Support section.
This help&Support is very work one, it is a CHATBOT which display only predefined options, there is no option for the customer to enter their query.
It is just like a FRAUD as there is no proper option for the user to input their queries.
They are charging too much for delayed payments. So i want to deactivate the postpaid account, but the company is not providing proper options.

I have used inr250 but they charge inr600 the next month and i didnt know what to do they didnt send me any updates regarding it and after 3 months the outstanding bill is 1999 and before i could do anything it was inr2229 the next month i would like to pay only the 250 + the 45 for the late fee as per the guideliens .

Hi,
I got a call from paytm recovery team [protected], they told me sir your total postpaid bill is 13463 due. I[censored] pay 5500 postpaid bill amount then I will close ur loan and activate ur postpaid again. So, I went in app and pay 5500 postpaid amount through paytm app. After payment my account is not close and shown amount 7963 yet to pay. I request please take strict action in this type of collection agent. I take a money from my close freind for my younger son medical treatment. I request pls address this complain to paytm postpaid team. And clear my postpaid bill immediately if amount will not clear then I will complain this scam to RBI portal.

Every month automatically amount deducted

Every month while scanning Paytm scanner they deducted amount automatically and then do not close postpaid account by saying that you have used account while I paid same amount at same time. And charged wrong convenience fees for the payment of 106 the charged 104 amount of convenience fees while I paid 106 on same day which is automatically deducted I was not want to pay through postpaid.

My Paytm postpaid account blocked
I delayed my January payment due to some personal problems, but after that 8 cleared all dues with penalty without any obsession, after that my limit increased.i used my February balance and on billing of march 1, they jst blocked my account without any reason. I pay all my bill before 7. Tell me how can i unblock my account.

I didn't use single rupees from paytm postpaid yet they ask me to pay bill
Hii...my name is hardev...my complaint is against Paytm postpaid...i activated paytmpostpaid and use it...but then i pay my bill of 368 rupees...After that i didnt use single rupees of paytm postpaid and suddenly one day i recieved call from them and they said u jsed 300 ruppees and now you have to pay ...after that they including penalty charges for every month and now i have to pay around 710rs ..
I have Proof that i never used single rs after my first bill payment...proof in picture

I have a paytm postpaid account of 60000 and I had a excess balance above 60k due to over payment, now again it is showing 14k bill payment, I have hardly used any balance, and on 3rd itself I cleared bill Bal 576 and now again it is showing 14k as bill payment to be made. Previous month my acc was showing excess amount in paytm postpaid acc also

899 amount refunded on 15th nov by magicbricks, but paytm is not providing any info about refund. Refund id also shared with paytm care.. This is harrassing me mentally

Extra late fees
Myself prabhat Kumar Bajpai a Paytm user by number [protected].
I used 1000 rupees by postpaid account but after this my sim has lost that's why a additional 2100 late fees is charged against me. Please waive off this extra amount so I can pay off my remaining amount.

I have paid rs 1334 amount in the month of june for paytm postpaid but it is realized by them on 28 August by paytm, which results to wrong late charges of apprx rs 1220 of 2 months ( july, august ) of the amount which i already paid. Due to this I'm unable to pay the balance amount of rs 895
I request to waive off these charges so that I can pay my balance amount of rs 900.

Complain about deduction from postpaid despite balance in Paytm bank and Paytm wallet
Out of curiosity, I activated my paytm postpaid feature. While making payments, it deducted from postpaid despite balance in my paytm bank and wallet. It was my mistake, I should have seen the option. But when you are in haste, you just simply click. Then after a month I was asked to make the postpaid payment which I used accidentally. I requested paytm customer care to deactivate my postpaid service. They assured me that it can be done only after I clear my dues. I cleared my dues and was cautious this time not to use postpaid account for payments. In the meanwhile, I also searched to deactivate the postpaid service. But in vain. Again I saw dues in the postpaid account, without making any payment. This time I was bugged. Again I started getting calls to make the payment. I was adamant that I would not as I have not used the feature. After getting non stop calls, I gave up and made the payment. Still the service could not be deactivated. After clearing all dues, again I saw outstanding balance of a very meagre amount, around 200. This time I was furious. Again I got calls to clear my dues. I had made up my mind that I would not. That 200 went to something 500.

Paytm bank, paytm wallet and now paytm postpaid. Please stay away from paytm. After all this trouble, I have asked all my family and friends to boycott Paytm. Would request you all to do the same.

Totalling errors
The recent postpaid bill generated had an error in spent vs. billed.
Couldn't reach the right team through app or phone call even after many trials.
All automated responses are with very few options and one sided.
Resolution of problem doesn't seem to happen.
Feel very unhappy with this kind of team and response.

Charging late fee by failing payment
Customers should stay away from this cheeky platform. They fail the payment if done within due date in order to charge late fee. I had to pay 560 Rs for making the payment the very next day as my payment earlier got failed magically by paytm folks.

Not sending statements and charging late fees - fraud

Your kind intervention is urgently invited in this matter. With great despondent and deep anguish, I am writing to you this mail.
I am uninterruptedly using the Paytm for last few years, based on that they have offered me a postpaid facility on 18th May 2022. I was using that credit facility and was making the repayment immediately on every transaction, except for the last 2 transactions on 3rd June & 6th June for Rs. 100 & Rs. 599 respectively. As on date they had not sent me the statement or alerted me through any source regarding my dues and no further communications after 18th May. Since last week onwards I have been getting repeated calls, some during untime, claiming that they are from Credit Control dept of Paytm and was telling me about my pending o/s. I asked them for the statement, till now they had not even responded for that. The same day I checked through my app and found that, for Rs. 699 dues, they had charged a late fee of Rs. 295 on 8th June, for their default and negligence of not sending me the statement till now. Immediately I paid all my dues except the late fee of Rs. 295 and informed them through mail and requested to reverse the late fee. They told me to contact their 24x7 customer care through their app, which is not at all functioning for the issue I am facing, and they are not even responding to the emails, moreover I tried to approach their office and Bangalore, and they are not even allowing us to enter inside. Then how and where we will address our concern against them. I tried through many emails to reach and from their cyber team, they responded once that it will be cleared within 48 hrs, after that no response since a week. I suspect the activity of Paytm postpaid is a fraud in which they will be trapping many customers by intentionally and purposely charging this late fee without intimating about the statement, and if we don’t pay this, again and again they will be charging a late fee for the same amount, and they will claim it as RBI guidelines. Moreover, they provided my limit as 60k, wherein the currently available limit is showing Rs. 59705, used limit as Rs. 295 and due amount as Rs. 618.75 which is contradictory and made me suspicious of financial fraud involved in their postpaid transactions. I have been maintaining a good Cibil score for years, and these kinds of practices of such financial entities will damage my name and affect my credibility too, which I can’t allow in any way. Without even sending the statement and the practice of charging late payment fee should also come under financial cyber-crime. Once they informed they had waived the charges, but not came into effect, rather they make an amount of Rs.913 as dues which is unused by me. Moreover the current statement also they have not sent and blocked my account so that I could not view what are the charges they had made in this.
I humbly request you to kindly intervene in this matter to settle this concern and please have a thorough enquiry on Paytm, so that such malpractices can be traced out and no further customers will be affected. In this case, since there is no way to get them connected and I am afraid of such financial malpractices, I am seeking help from the Ombudsman in this regard. To be frank, it's feeling unsafe using paytm.
PS: The following are the email ID's I tried to contact them, which I got from their website as well as provided by their credit control dept.
[protected]@paytmbank.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytmbank.com, and got one reply from [protected]@paytmbank.com on 16th June stating that they had acknowledged the receipt and will come out with a resolution within 24-48 hrs provided with a ticket no. [protected], after that no more response even after frequent reminders from my side, other mail IDs not yet responded so far. I told them, this will be addressed to the banking ombudsman also, still they are least bothered, hence I am much suspicious of them.
Please help, I am afraid that getting delay in resolving this is leading to increase in outstanding and affecting my cibil score which I am very well maintaining since years.

Moreover the current statement also they have not sent and blocked my account so that I could not view what are the charges they had made in this.
I humbly request you to kindly intervene in this matter to settle this concern and please have a thorough enquiry on Paytm, so that such malpractices can be traced out and no further customers will be affected. In this case, since there is no way to get them connected and I am afraid of such financial malpractices, I am seeking help from the Ombudsman in this regard. To be frank, it's feeling unsafe using paytm.
PS: The following are the email ID's I tried to contact them, which I got from their website as well as provided by their credit control dept.
[protected]@paytmbank.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytm.com, [protected]@paytmbank.com, and got one reply from [protected]@paytmbank.com on 16th June stating that they had acknowledged the receipt and will come out with a resolution within 24-48 hrs provided with a ticket no. [protected], after that no more response even after frequent reminders from my side, other mail IDs not yet responded so far. I told them, this will be addressed to the banking ombudsman also, still they are least bothered, hence I am much suspicious of them.
Please help, I am afraid that getting delay in resolving this is leading to increase in outstanding and affecting my cibil score which I am very well maintaining since years.

In my CIBIL report, the postpaid bill for the month of April is showing overdue despite being paid which is not correct. I am having trouble taking loan, please correct it, I told your customer care 3 to 4 times but they did not care. Hope you will solve my problem as soon as.
