My order no DIR 8334 consisted of a table & 4 chairs. The order was placed on 17th Aug 2023. The dining table arrived in 10 days. After constant follow up for the chairs, i got 4 shoddy, steel chairs, design changed, on 7th Dec 2023. They arrived with any cushions which were promised viade Whatsapp chat on 01st Dec 2023.

They have a contact number which at best goes un answered or goes to the IVR. Absolute fraud company.

Received my order which was a folding ped from pengu, the delivery came in 4 boxes over the period of 4-5 days after placing the order. The assembly person visited 3 days after delivery. I was expecting it to get installed at the time of delivery but since the delivery is done by different people and assemble is done by different people installation was done later. The product is wonderful and frees up lots of space in my guest bedroom so the same can be used for another purpose as well. The mattress is 4 inches and i suggest that it should be at least 6 inches. Apart from the delay in installation and mattress thickness, everything is perfect. Will recommend Pengu to my friends and family for sure.

Received an order and assembly instructions were missing and for the same i raised a complaint, On receiving my complaint i was provided a soft copy of the assembly manual and an assembly video which was really helpful but what was really nice and unexpected was that the assembly team arranged a video call and help me on every step of assembly process. Highly helpful and professional team. I will post another review once i use this product for long enough. But for now a full 5 star for product and service.

I usually do not give feedback but this one is worth of mention. It's been some 10 months I brought the table, the order was delivered on time and the assembly service was prompt. Was impressed with the packaging. Never seen such good packaging for furniture. The material feels rich and the craftsmanship is superfine. We use this table every single day and since this one is for multipurpose we use it a lot for wfh and dining. There were several ovations of water and food spillage and my worst fear was that it will get damaged since its made of engineered wood, but it takes all the rough usage and even after so many months looks just new like. My best wishes to pengu company and looking forward for more innovative products from pengu.

Very happy with my purchase. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and surdiness of the table. Pengu has an eye for fine details. safety corners were included in the package. I was impressed. The pengu people are doing fabulous job on space saving. A table of 6 folds into a compact size furniture that as wow! More power to Pengu.

Writing this feedback after using the product for 6 months,

we use this table on daily basis and its really saves lots of space. The build is sturdy and its easy to move the table. The material looks premium and very easy to clean. this table has become a part of our daily life and i see no reason that it will last for years to come. Over all a very nice experience and will keep recommending this to others....

Its been 6 months since the convertible coffee table was delivered and following is my feedback:

the product is very sturdy even after using it on daily basis. The quality is really good. There is lots of storage and this makes life easy. The dining mode of this table is very spacious and can be used by 6 people for dining. The mechanism is really smooth and the closing function is soft-close. Its easy to clean and maintain as it can be cleaned with wet cloth. This is a must have product if you have small apartment. Overall its a very good product for this price.

Safeexpress guys refused to deliver product on the 5th floor. The product that i ordered was heavy and the lift was out of service, i raised the complaint with pengu customer care and they made sure that product was delivered to my door step. My only suggestion that change the courier company as safeexpress their service is not good. We are happy with product and service of team pengu.

This company took my order on 27th March and today is 14th of April 2023. I still haven’t received the order. I have reached out to them multiple times but every time they come up with excuses. Please don’t buy from this company. And if we ask for refund or cancellation they will keep on saying please cooperate with us. I mean how much patience a person should have to deal with such companies. International companies don’t take this much time. The same item a local carpainter would have created in mere 4-5 days. My order number is DIR7392.

I am so happy with the service, there was minor damage to the product that i received and i complained to the pengu support team. They took immediately action and did a video call to understand the damage part. Same day a new part was dispatch via speed courier and the part was delivered within next 2 days and again carpenter visited and replaced the damaged part. Totally happy with the prompt service and the product material is premium. At this price they are giving amazing quality.

I had ordered for dining table and chairs, the dining table was delivered within 4 days of order and got it assembled as well, however the chairs are not yet delivered. The customer support told us that since the chairs are not manufactured by them and are supplied by their suppliers elsewhere, there is a delay from supplier, they offered us to process 100% refund however since the table will be of limited use without the folding chairs hence i have agreed to wait for another 15 days for the delivery of chairs. The table quality of very good and the delivery was fast but because of the delay in delivery of chairs i am having bad experience otherwise experience would have been very good. I suggest pengu to not spoil their reputation for such a small items . I will update my review once i receive the chairs.

I have purchased folding dining table nd chair from pengu in January 10. Today it's 22 nd March they are failed to deliver dining chairs.
Problem 1 - they don't have any contact no
Problem - 2 - only reaching point through online chat
Problem 3 - Always given false commitment and hope.
Problem 4 - Requested for refund but they are not responding.

I spent 20000 based on their rating but what i believe they re completely fake.This company doesn't have ny existence.

My request please take necessary action as we are unable to reach them.
Very bad experience

I had ordered product after seeing the pengu product at my relatives home, Delivery was superfast and the assembly was done very next day. The quality of product is as expected and top notch. This is a must buy product if you have small apartment. It saves space and one product does work of multiple products. Desk, Dining table, side table all in one. Highly recommended.

I had ordered a Pengu furniture from its official website more than a week ago, I’m calling multiple times to pengu for order summary or status but not getting any call from their side, the tracking details shared with me is showing one week old status not the updated one. Please help me is it a fake website or they delay the product delivery without any tracking update.

I had earlier given my feedback for the pengu convertible table, this is the review after using for around 6 months.

pro's

1) does the work of desk, center table and full size dining table
2) there is lots of storage space and us very useful. even the stools has storage space
3) it has soft close hence even when you leave it while closing it will close by itself slowly.
4) material is heavy...

One of the part was damaged but got replacement done from pengu. Packaging was was really good five star for that. The product itself is very useful in day to day life and can be also used for upto 8 people so thats something very useful when you have guest at home. Quality of the product is upto the mark and assembly service was professional and quick. Only suggestion that make customer support more reachable for the customers.

Hi, i have received the order and want to request for on-site assembly but i am not able to log into the account hence not able to make assembly request.

I purchased convertible coffee table with self assembly option, however i am finding it very difficult to assemble. I tried doing it myself following the instruction but i am not able to install the table top. I tried calling phone support but did not receive a callback. Please call and help me get this assemble

The box seemed to have damaged in transport and on opening the box we found that there were some broken parts. We raised the issue with pengu team and they got us on video call to understand what parts were damaged. on the video call they explained us that the damage parts in the box is actually the packaging material and now the product parts. They explained that they use waste wooden boards for packaging purpose. After this they help us step by step on product assembly all over the video call. Product looks good and in damage free condition.

Received the product on time however assembly person has still not visited. Kindly get this done on priority as we have function at our home and need this table to be ready before that.

Hello everyone, please consider below expericen and learn from others mistakes. Thepengu.com is tottaly fake site, I am sharing my experince and chain mails below.

I orderd one dining table and 4 chairs total costing 20790, this one was foldable dining table, with 4 seprate chairs on 30th December, 2022. This was supposed to be delivered on 15th Jan, 2023.

But I received below email on January 14th about the...

I would like to place my review after 6+ months o[censored]sage of the product. The finish & packaging was amazing and the assembly was very easy. I had opted for self assembly to save on the cost of assembly. Highly appreciate the Pengu team for video call to help me with assembly. Just in case if you wish to see the product before buying they also give a demo of product on whatsaap call. Very happy with the product and quality. Only one suggestion that delivery timelines should be short. At present its bit long.

I had ordered a dining table under order number DIR6882 on 9th of December and it was supposed to be delivered in 7-8 days. However the order is yet not delivered even after 20 days not is there any status update on the order.

This is my second purchase from pengu, firs was folding bed which i am using for more than 6 month now. Bed is a good product and saves space but mattress they have 4 inches. I suggest to provide at-least 6 inches mattress. Apart from the mattress product is really good and easy to operate. However not recommended for old people as it operates manually and hence a little bit strength needs to be applied while closing.

Dining table is perfect and if you have this dining table its comfortable for 4 people. Product is very sturdy and surface is water resistance hence you can clean easily.

I placed an order for 6 seated Pengu space saving dining table with order reference number: DIR6836 on 1st of December . The website promised delivery between 8-9Dec. I don’t see any updates on the status of the order. I have tried reaching the customer support. No response to that yet. I am really worried and disappointed with this unresponsive behaviour. The IVR number is really a dead end. I ordered from Pengu just with the intention of supporting local businesses. Seems like it was a mistake. Not professional at all.

Received the product and got it assembled, but the seat cessions were missing. After raising a complaint they told that the cushions are shipped separately as it made by different vendor. Today received the cushions, now the product looks complete. Product is very nice and the wood is premium quality. Its very functional and plenty of storage space is a plus point. My only suggestion that all the packages should be delivered together so no confusion is caused. Over all good product.

We had ordered the product on 15th october and delivery took 17 days. Once the product was delivered a on-site assembly service was carried our next day by professional carpenter. Below is our review of the product:

*quality of material is superior and better than what we expected.
*there is no compromise in usability the size is perfect for both coffee table and dining table.
*when fully opened the dining table is 4ft X 4ft which is huge and when unfolded its 2ft & 4ft
*lots of storage both within the table and stools
* opening and closing is bit hard but eventually it gets smooth.

Overall its a product that every household should have and with this product you can actually get rid of the traditional dining table and save lot on space.

Received the order and when we opened the product few parts were damaged. We informed to pengu customer support and they have dispatch new parts as replacement. Expecting to receive the same today. Kindly also arrange assembly service immediately.

I was tracking the parcel on blue dart website and today we it was out for delivery in the morning. No once called and no one came for delivery but in the evening i got a message from bluedart that delivery attempt failed as customer was not available. This is false statement as we were at home and no once came for delivery. Please speak to bluedart and ask them to deliver the product asap

Received delivery, however there is no assembly instruction manual inside the package. I have purchased with on-phone assembly service hence need either instruction to assemble the product or need some to guide on the phone call. Please do the needful.
