Sub: Hinderances in payment of pension.

Dear Sir,
This is to draw your kind attention that my father named Late Sh. Sheoraj Singh Rana was getting pension from HARYANA POWER GENERATION CORPN. LTD. vide Memo No. /FA & CAO/ Pen./HPGCL-3045, PPO – 1318, dt: 09.01.08 through ADB SBI Bank, Branch Code- 4944, Harduaganj, Aligarh (U.P.) A/C No. [protected].

He got expired on 09.05.09. I conveyed this information to the concerned Bank & made all formalities required to get the pension in my mother name i.e. Omwati Devi via ADB SBI Bank, Branch Code – 4944, Harduaganj, Aligarh (U.P.) A/C No. [protected].
Still She has not been getting pension and the bank is quoting that they have sent all documents to the Addressed below on dtd 27.05.09.

Now The Bank Manager is saying that we have completed all formalities from our side & issue is pending from your department (HPGCL) & he also told me You inquired in Treasury office Aligarh. But he is still unaware of the exact situation that my mothers pension has no any connection with the treasury, although HPGCL is a NIGAM and the pension is directly payable through SBI.
HPGCL Pension Department already submitted all document in the SBI Panckula to staring the pension of my father & in these document it is clearly mentioned in PPO that in the event of death of Sh. Sheoraj Singh family pension payble to Smt. Omwati Devi.

Here I want to pay your attention that She has not been getting pension from the last 07 Months due to which we are facing lots of financial problems in the absence of my father.

Kindly do the needful to resolve the matter on urgent basis.

My father Late Awadh prasad expired on 5.1.08 and family pension is to be deposited in my mother Mrs Sharda Devi's account No [protected]. I have fulfilled are the documentation at your branch at 509 Army base workshop Agra. They have forwarded the request vide letter No 2009/219 dt 15.10.09. My Mother has not received the pension till date. Please expedte the release of pension I am attaching herewith a letter of CDA Pension Allahabad in support of correct accout No. for your ready reference

Sir,
I retired as Director General, Customs and Excise, from Government of India. I retired in November 2004 and at the time of retirement I was drawing pay in the pre-revised pay scale (S-30 grade) of Rs.[protected]. It seems to me that as per Department of DoPT's Circular No. 38/37/08-P&PW (A) Pt.1 dated 20/8/2009, those who retied before 1/1/2006 and were in the Grade of Rs.[protected], are entitled to pension of Rs. 33500 with effect from 1/1/2006. The DA admissible is extra.

I am being paid pension by SBI and my pension is credited to my SB Account No. [protected] in SBI Pitampura, Delhi. However, I find that even for the month of October 2009, a sum of Rs. 26,800 only is credited to my account as pension. I received this amount as BULK POSTING-By Pension[protected]A75Pen:440004835004109291009--
It seems to me that my pension is not being correctly paid to me and the Circular of 20/8/2009 is not being complied with.
Can the matter be kindly looked into and nedful done. If my understanding is correct then neccessary correction may be caused to be done immediately. If I am wrong, then the correct position may be clarified to me.

Ref: My application dated 7th Sep 09, sent by Reg AD on 14th Sep 2009 to your office.

Sir,

I had been getting pension regularly from LIC (in 2 parts: 1,359/- & 487/-, totally amounting to 1,846/-) in the 1st week of every month through ECS to my State Bank of India, B- block, Janakpuri branch, New Delhi SB A/c # [protected].

Since August 2009, only one of the above amounts (Rs 487/-) is getting credited in to my SBI SB A/c. The 2nd part, amounting to Rs 1,359/- for the months of Aug & Sept 2009 have not got credited. Copies of my SBI ATM statement were enclosed for your cross reference with my application dated 7th Sep 09. I had forwarded my existence certificate duly signed off & stamped by a Registered Medical Practitioner – Dr. Rahul Wani, bearing his Regn # 082329.

Also enclosing SBI A/c statement taken on 11th Oct 09, wherein the amounts of 487/- and 1,359/- have not got credited.

Kindly acknowledge the receipt of this letter and do the needful by checking into your records and crediting my referenced SB A/c with the requisite amounts for the months of Aug, Sept and Oct 2009, respectively.

I already emailed to you on 19th June, 09 and want to know whether any action is being taken or not and also request you to kindly send an interim reply.The gist of my earlier email is:-

I am not getting my pension(civil), PPO No.[protected], since begining i.e. January'2008, though my pension papers were received by IOB, India Exchange Place Br., Kolkata, which was then forwarded to pension paying branch- IOB, Sonapatti Br vide Lr. No. GA/PEN/ Dated[protected]. The reason for not paying my pension was that my S/B A/C No.3279 in Sonapatti Br.(0497), Kolkata, was dormant and not revived inspite of my repeated written requests . (Firstly how is it?)



After waiting for a long time, I then got my pension transferred to SBI, Udayachal Br (No.7932), LHO Building, Bhopal- 462011 on[protected]. But my original PPO and other pension paper etc which was lying in IOB is not yet transferred. However, Manager, IOB, Sonapati, has intimated that he returned my original PPO to IOB, India Exchange Place, Kolkata. But IOB, India Exchange Place has not transferred my PPO and other pension papers.



Myself and my present pension drawing bank i.e. SBI, Bhopal, have written many letters since long time, requesting the Manager/Chief Manager, IOB, India Exchange Place, Kolkata to transfer my PPO & pension papers if not yet transferred, or give me the copy of the forwarding letter in case it is already transferred, so that I can pursue my case; but IOB, India Exchange Place, Kolkata-700001, is not replying at all. (Is my pension is being drawn by somebody else mischieviously?)



It is one and half years passed, I am without pension for which my family is being ruined. I don't have any other source of income.



I am requesting you to kindly enquire the matter and arrange to forward my PPO & Pension papers to my present pension drawing bank i.e.Manager, SBI, UDAYACHAL br(7932), LHO Building, Bhopal, MP-462011 or to the Manager, SBI Main Branch, SULTANIA ROAD, Bhopal, MP-462001, under intimation to me.

I also request you to kindly send to me an interim reply whether any action is being taken or not, and how many days will it be required to send my papers by IOB, Kolkata?

I am writing the mail on behalf of my father Mr. Manab Roy, who had worked as a Sr. Account Assistant [Cashier] in Drinking Water and Sanitation Department, Chakradharpur, Jharkhand. He had contributed his 41 Years to serve the people’s need and Organizational Growth. He was always in good books of his officers.

Now my Father is retired and its 8 months he has not received his Pension. He doesn’t have PPO No which he is supposed to get from Accountant General Office, Ranchi. That’s the reason he is getting depressed day by day. He is not willing to come from my native until this issue is resolved. He has given bribe as well. He is a Heart Patient and has undergone Heart Surgery as well. This might impact on his health. This is clearly a matter of harassment.

I request you kindly, look into the matter and try to give a favorable judgment towards his issue.

Please, treat my mail as a confidential one. Kindly, forward the same to the concerned department.


Note : Past one month I am trying to communicate the issue to various Online Public Grievance Lodging application and sent numerous mails but didn’t get any response. I personally request all of you to take a call and help my Father to receive his Pension and GPF Amount. I have marked the mail to PMO and President of India.

I would be always thankful for your kindness. This is my humble request to all of you to take an appropriate action and make my father happy.
Please, let me know if you need any other information from my end.

I submitted all the documents along with the Death Certificate on 22.10.2007 to The manager, State Bank of India .Moti Nagar Branch(1277)New Delhi
Again on 26.02.08 I submitted all the forms required by the branch.
I received a photo copy of the Regd letter sent to the pension Branch on04.03.2008 by moti nagar branch
Since then I have not received any letter or pension
Please do the need full as more than one year had passed

I am the pension Holder retired from state Government and maintaing the accounts in your Vivekananda House Branch Triplicane and drawing my pension from state Government and they are sending all the documents and particulars to the particular Branch in time 'But the Bank was not in a position to credit my pension amount in time .I am drawing my pension with effect from August 2008 and I have not able to get the credit from your Branch even though my pension amount have been released by the pension department of state government up tp December 2008. Even my commutation of pension amount to the tune of Rs 18000 has not been credited eventhough the particulars have been received by the Bank during the month of November 2008 itself. I had requested the Manager several times in person as well as through phone also.Since the failure of the Bank I am losing my interest for the pension amount. It is not known how the Bank authorities can run tne Bank by appointing inefficient staff who is incapable of doing atlleast to credit the pension amount to the pensioners.As such I request you to kindly take necessary action against the person concerned and credit the to my account
