I, Vignan Sai Kammila, along with my family, booked a 7-day vacation to Uttarakhand through Sampuran Yatra Pvt Ltd, a travel agency based in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Despite finalizing an itinerary with their sales executive, Ms. Shiwani Thakur, which included specific luxury hotels, we encountered several issues during our trip:

I Sanjay Kumar from Delhi. I were booked 10 Pax trip for Delhi to Manali from 31 March 2022 to 5 April 2022. we are very disappointed with travel agency as it did not go as it was planned and promised. For the vacation we had discussed and made an itinerary on our own which was charged a bit more than usual. This was ok with us and we were happy that we will be staying and traveling our way. But at the last movement Sampuran Yatra travel agency changed our hotel and location even they didn’t inform us about it the driver told us about the new hotel then we Call their agent MS. PRIYANKA THAKUR[protected] she didn’t picked up our call after that we call MS. SUNITA[protected] she were making too many excuses and there was so many arguments but still Sampuran Yatra travel agency changed our hotel we had book Lord regency but they provide us different hotel, and not only hotel we were faced same situation with Camp. We booked Adventure Camp Kasol but they gave us River view Adventure camp and shower Call Ms Sunita but their behaviour was totally rude even she told us that that was not her fault and cut the Call we were trying to connect with Sampuran Yatra agency but we can’t connect with them we were not given the place which we selected instead was given.

On 6th April 2022 in evening at 8:17 pm I get Call from Ms Priyanka Thakur and she was pressurised me for take back my complaint and her behaviour was totally rude even she getting on me that why I am doing complaint against her after few minutes I get the call from their agent Mr Surinder (+[protected] and he was treating me that he have our ID card and he will miss use it if I’ll not get back my complaint and he also said that he have our address he will visit our home and do too many bad things our privacy is in danger. In future if our ID will miss used then Sampuran Yatra travel agency will responsible for that.
It is request for you that please resolve it as soon as possible and take appropriate action against my complaint and please treat this matter.

First of all I would request everyone not to travel from this Volvo Service Provider Sampuran Yatra from Manali to Delhi and Delhi to Manali. When they issue the ticket it is of Sampuran Yatra but once you will enter in the bus. Firstly when you will go to board the bus, it rude, illiterate type of bus conductor will ask you to pay 100 rupees per luggage and when you deny, he will bargain it to 70 or 50. so if you have 4 seats then pay an extra 280 for luggage which I did as nobody is there to listen to you. Once you enter the bus, You will see its bad condition. Dirty quilts, broken charging points, broken hand rest, broken leg rest and the rude staff and No wifi on board but they promised.

They will promise to you that your ticket includes mineral water bottle but to your surprise, conductor will flatly refuse to give water bottles as say that there is no stock. I kept on asking for bottles and we did not carry as they said that they will provide. I was with my elderly parents and small kids but they did not provide bottles.

Now they switched on the AC and the AC vents above your head are broken and you cannot close it which means you have to bear the cold and wrap yourself with the dirty quilts provided. The quits are little bigger than a small piece of cloth and you cannot wrap yourself at it is too small. The overhead lights are also not working.

ATTENTION: NOW READERS here comes the main part what business they are doing and how they are taking your hard earned money in their pocket. Please read carefully and do not get fooled. The bus will leave manali at about 5:30 in evening instead of 4:30 (1 hr late) and they will stop for dinner at 8:00 clock which is too early for dinner. When I asked they said have ur dinner now as they will not stop the bus anywhere after this. The DHABA they stopped the bus was very very dirty and unhygienic. We request to stop at some other place but they refused. The reason behind this was that this DHABA
We sat on one of the tables and asked for menu card but there was no menu card and they were not ready to tell the rates. At last I orders 2 plates of Rajma Chawal and 2 Mineral water bottles. After finishing the dinner can you believe the total bill, you will not believe it is of Rs. 900.00. which is 400.00 Rs each for each plate of rajma chawal and Rs 50.00 each for mineral water . See how they are fooling people. The food and water which not more that 400.00 Rs as per the standard of that dhaba they charged 900 Rs. I called the travel agency owner but he said I will see into this what is happening and then disconnected the phone. When I objected to this and asked for menu card, they threatened me with dire consequences if I will not pay the bill and will also move the bus and leave our family here. With no option left, I paid the bill.

The trauma does not end here as from here the driver got changed and there was a remaining hilly area of about 200 KMs. All had food and now they will travel on hills. Several people vomited including my children as all were full stomach. Also no vomiting bags were provided by the Bus. The conductor was rude throughout. He closed all the lights and the lights above ur head was not working. I have to use my mobile torch for everything. Several children were crying but they did not provide water bottles nor they opened the lights. They also misbehaved with me.

I will urge everyone please confirm you travel agent before finalizing your ticket if you are traveling from Private Volvo Bus Operator from Manali or from Delhi.They will just lure by giving ticket 100 Rs less than other providers but please it is a strict no. Also please do not rely on the hotel staff as they will guide you wrong because of their commission. Best to travel with top Volvo companies like Indo Canadian, Mercedes Benz, Swagatham, or the best option is to travel with Himachal Tourism Volvo service from which I went from Delhi to manali but came back.

I sincerely request everyone to be very cautious before booking your ticket from these two travel agencies Sampuran Yatra is the agent to several private bus players. I do not want other people to go through the trauma that I and my family went through. It was a terrible experience that I wish no one should face.
