I amsub postmaster champdani under south hooghly division wb. I have raised ticket on dtd 22/09/2017 the work has been handed to sify official ankur manna. He didnot attend the office however when i query my complain in india post complain booking number they told me that it hasbeen closed. I inquire him about the step he brutly scolded me andtold me not to disturb him in phone. India post is paying for the service but we the employèe is getting harassed every day forthe rude behaviour of theirpersonal
I have again raised ticket on dtd 7/10/2017 but till now my office problem to be resolved. Public are facing problemeveryday for connectivety problem

    Hi, Whenever i open www.sify.com i use to find login to sifymail option to login to my sify email id.. from past 1 month its not working, there is no login option to login to the sify email.. i have given my sify email id only for my work and other activities.. this my sify email id is primary email id for all my official/work activities..         My user id is: scow_122436A. I am living in Sector 23A, Gurgaon. I have a SIFY cyber cafe plan at my home by the name of Mr. Rishi Aggarwal. My internet connection is not working since last one month. Later, I came to know that my payment is due of which no prior notice or reminder was given to me. After that I deposited a sum of Rs. 7750 in SIFY's ICICI bank account:[protected] on[protected]. The receipt number is [protected]. I tried to contact their customer care number numerous times but no proper response was given to me. I even mailed the receipt of the transaction to their employee "Naresh Bedi" but he stopped responding after receiving the mail. I contacted many of their employees as i was unable to reach customer care but none of them responded properly. At this date none of their employees in my contact are responding to my calls or requests neither i am able to reach their customer care. It has been more than 2 weeks since I made the payment and still my account isn't activated. I would like you to look into this matter urgently.

          in the month July i was having the problem of BB101 so called unable to reach sify server.So as usual contacted the ccc for help they sent a tech after 4day the tech told power cord on a switch was damaged. And they told that it requires a master tech to fix it and he is on vacation. I don't wanna mention the name of tech.But the thing is that they left it unattended for 17 day even after continuous call to ccc. But the things comes out a bit fishy when contacted at Pune's head office they told that there was some issues with the owner of the building where the switch was placed.
          And on 30th of August they gave me connection from another building & told me to pay for the current month
          and the extension will be given for the disconnection & accordingly i paid the amount. But after 3-4 days when contacted to ccc they told that there back-end team had found some sessions during my disconnection period. SO i gave them the number & name of the person who took care of my disconnection.Still they refused to provide any extension...
          AND now in this month i.e DEC 2012 again the same prob since DEC 9th till date.here the only difference is i can get the connection from 8am to 9pm evening when contacted to the local help desk he told that the Ethernet cable was cut and kept aside now every one can imagine how retards are there in sify.. this time iam specially concerned with the Area in-charge MUDASSIR Contact number:[protected] And he also says that he doesn't have man power to deal with it....

            I have installed boradband connection last month by paying Installation Charges: Rs. 1000 and 3 months prepaid plan (384/512kbps) . Mr. Dadasaheb (Mobile:[protected]) has given me the connection and he promised for the continued service but invain.I am frequently facing the disconnection of broadband i.e. on average twice weekly. Everytime I hang up calling customer care for 15mins or more. I believed Sify services and took the boradband connection. I am frustrated with this problem and unstaisfied with your service.
            SAMe with me...
            WOuld love to advice others, please think 10times before going for sify

              Sify — Worst company to shop from

              Hi,
              I shopped from Sify Mall--a product worth 2,999/- on 7th Dec.,2007-which stands undelievered till now(claim of delievery within 3-5 working days).

              All my mails and repeated calls to the customer care execs. are falling on deaf ears.I wish to complain regarding this.Kindly help.

              Its one of the worst ever experiences and I would request everyone not to shop from this company.

              means only. There is no shortcut or illegal means for entry into any company. Nowadays Government of India Has one Authorised Governing Body called NASSCOM. For any freshers who

              is entering into the industry he has to write that exam and clear it. And he has to get that score. Based on that score only he will be inducted into any comapany.

              For Lateral Entry Recruitment also there is severe and rigorous selection procedures, which should be cleared by any job aspiring candidate. Without clearing that

                This is one unfortunate event where Sify broadband has tricked me into paying for services where they could provide none. I was a customer with Sify when one fine day my Sify broadband stopped working (while still in subscription period). I contacted customer center multiple times and they sweetly assured me that engineer would come to inspect the cause. After a million phone calls and one month delay, the call center lied to me that the error is rectified and advised me to renew subscription. I trustingly renewed it but was shocked to discover no internet access. I was willing to put all this inconvenience caused and asked simply for refund and apology [INTERACTID:5915118]. And guess what, after an additional month (2.5 months total), I am still waiting for any action.

                I strongly advise fellow netizens to stay away from Sify and never to believe their call centre executives. Most of the times they would outsource their work to shady vendors without informing customers. You might end up not only losing your money but also all the facilities internet brings. These Sify people won't even let your search for any other provider by their fake promises and sweet talk.

                I would like to inform every one that SIFY BROADBAND sucks.Worst internet connection they provide to there clients..Every week it works only 2-3 days else alway's on error.Complaining agaian & again doesn't work at all.Iam fedup by following them to provide good connectivity.They dont have solution for there own errors's due to that customer have to face such inconvenience.

                I am really so much frustrated with the service of Sify Voip Connetion, i have been using this service from the last 8 years but from the few months it has not been working, i have registerd a lot of complaints to the all nodal and appalete authorioty of sify ltd but they are not considering my problem even they have threatened me to do a case against me for damage of their voip instrument
                it was not working properly from the last year i have complaint so many times but and his executive came here to reinstall it but could not be installed even they have send a replaced voip instument from mumbai but it could not be performed as per the sify executive Mr. Ravi,
                i have send a lot of reqeust to the sify appalate authority and nodal offricer but they are not hearing me even they have told me to file a case in the court against me becaue of non working of instrument
                but i m informing u that i have not touched the instrument it was installed at the teris but due to network connetivity it was not properly worked and when i request to repair if than they have not performed their duty
                I am the user of Sify and i have a small business to make ISD call from this line and this line is not accessed by the sify ltd.
                they are not ready to repair it they are overcharging Rs. 3000/-

                      I want to report about the bad service of Sify. I reported more than 4 times to the local connection provider, more than 4 times to Sify Customer care itself and more than 4 times I send a mail to customer care.

                      I have not been provided any services for around last 10 days.

                      I want to ask if Sify people already know the problem why a proper action was not taken against this problem.

                      I want to know who is responsible for the wastage of my time when I was not able to use the Sify internet in spite of paying the bill.

                      If I am forced to go to the cyber cafe for my work then why I am supposed to bear the cost of Sify connection at my home.

                      I want proper action explanation and compensation from Sify.

                      against sify — Complaint on Sify Broadband

                      Hello

                      I am Sumit Ghai. I got Sify broadband connection Plan:INR [500(registration) + 330(monthly)] on date 22-Dec-2007 at my home 1/109, Vaishali, Ghaziabad . They disconnect my connection on 23-Dec-07 and asked me to pay INR 500 extra to enable it again.

                      I been to there office. They said, I was using there login credential. However, I was logged-in as per Sify executive advise for only next couple of hours.

                      Could you please let me know where I can complaint on this?

                        Dear Sir,

                        After my account was due for renewal, I got a call from Sify Customer Care for renewal.
                        They suggested me to go for a 1275 Rs. Plan (192 Kbps unlimited) for 3 months.
                        I agreed to them and told them to renew and get the payment from me.

                        I paid them the same amount on 17th April, 2010 (RECEIPT ATTACHED)
                        but after using it for 3 days, they deactivated my account.

                        Since then and till today, I have called sify customer care 25 times (spending 30 mins on each call) explaining them the issue. I spent around 1500 Rs. just for calling their customer care without getting proper response.
                        Its been 45 days now, I am still facing the same issue.

                        I always have very important work to do over Internet and I have even missed my online exam due to this issue.

                        Being their customer since 3 years, they are not caring for their customers.

                        I now want the disconnection from Sify and don't want to continue with them anymore.
                        At the same time, I want to claim 1275 (the actual amount) + 1500 (call charges) + 5000 (for harrasement) = 7775 rupees from Sify broadband.

                        Hoping a positive and quick reply from your side.

                          This is complaint is for the Broadband service provider "Sify".
                          I made a payment of Rs 999 for my 384 kbps connection, dated 22nd April.
                          An Invoice should be provided to me for the amount of payment paid. It is important for me to get the reimbursement of the payment made.

                          They provided me an Invoice mentioning the date 26th March instead of correct data 22nd April.

                          I contacted their renewal department continuously for 5 days, but no one responded.
                          I logged a complaint using their customer care web portal, got no help.
                          Used their web site: http://broadband.sify.com/contactus.html, I tried to contact any responsible person, but got NDR for the emails sent to all the contacts.

                          I am helpless at this point of time, with no one to help me out.
                          I have already wasted my money in making phone calls and time in writing emails to their customer care w/o any luck.

                          I don't think that expecting an 'Invoice' for the payment made is a crime in India or a request for this should be neglected in this fashion.

                          This portal is my last hope to get justice.

                            Hello,

                            I am a Sify broadband user. In January 2010 I started facing problems with the internet whereby my internet would disconnect every 2 minutes and I would not get proper ping replies from my local gateway. I wracked my head with Sify for 256 days before they were able to identify and fix the problem. I was so frustrated I asked them to end my service and refund the amount I have paid to them (I had paid for three months in advance).

                            At that point they assured me that they will compensate me for the time lost. Anyway, fast forward to 2 months and what they have compensated me for a 11 day long internet service which is an inferior product than what I haid paid them for (my subscription was the connection with 256 kbps during the day and 512 kbps during the night, they have compensated with a 256 kbps connection good only for 11 days).

                            I hereby am very upset with the unprofessionalism on Sify's part and failure to give me the service that I have paid them for. At this moment I want all my money back in lieu of the terrible broadband serviceand even worse customer service that they have provided to me, which included three of their customer service representatives hanging up on me within a timespan of 1 hour.

                            I want either a fair compensation from them (these 11 days of the pathetic 256 kbps connection dont count) or all my money refunded (amount of over Rs 3000)

                            I am really so much frustrated with the service of Sify Voip Connetion, i have been using this service from the last 8 years but from the few months it has not been working, i have registerd a lot of complaints to the all nodal and appalete authorioty of sify ltd but they are not considering my problem even they have threatened me to do a case against me for damage of their voip instrument
                            it was not working properly from the last year i have complaint so many times but and his executive came here to reinstall it but could not be installed even they have send a replaced voip instument from mumbai but it could not be performed as per the sify executive Mr. Ravi,
                            i have send a lot of reqeust to the sify appalate authority and nodal offricer but they are not hearing me even they have told me to file a case in the court against me becaue of non working of instrument
                            but i m informing u that i have not touched the instrument it was installed at the teris but due to network connetivity it was not properly worked and when i request to repair if than they have not performed their duty
                            I am the user of Sify and i have a small business to make ISD call from this line and this line is not accessed by the sify ltd.
                            they are not ready to repair it they are overcharging Rs. 3000/-
                            i request you to kindly handle this case

                                I would like to report about the bad service of Sify.

                                I reported this to the local connection provider 8 times and approximately 8 to 9 times to the Sify Customer care.

                                Because of this I have not been provided any services for around 20 days out of last 30 days.
                                The most common problem which I faced due to which i was not able to access the
                                the internet was "Unable to connect to Gateway" regarding this problem the customer care executive told
                                me that the problem would be resolved within the next 24 hours. The problem used to be resolved on the third day after giving the complaint and again on the next day the same problem use to occure.
                                At last i came to know from the local connection provider that there was some fiber cable problem and the problem will be resolved within 3 days.
                                I want to ask if Sify people already know the problem why a proper action was not taken
                                against this problem.
                                I want to know who is responsible for the wastage of my time when I was not
                                able to use the Sify internet inspite of paying the bill.
                                If I am forced to go to the cyber cafe for my work then why I am
                                supposed to bear the cost of Sify connection at my home.

                                I had asked for compensation and received the same only for 5 days

                                I want proper action explaination and correct compensation from Sify.

                                I want to report about the bad service of Sify.

                                I am totally Satisfied with the services of Sify in Dwarka Sector 7. I have given all complete filled forms to executive and bank draft for rs. 1500. but till now the connection is not Installed. I have talk to senior officials also. But no action taken by the company.                                     Hi I am an existing customer of Sify Broadband since 2008. I have faced a strange situation this time. I have shifted from 1st floor to 2nd floor in a same building. When I raised a request to shift the connection, local operator asked 500 Rs for it. Neways some how I manged to do shift the connection by my own. After that someone stole a complet wire (CAT5 cable) coming to my flat from neighbour building. I raised a request again but this time they (Sify) are asking me to pay a complete amount for cable.

                                    Guys Would like to know that I have already paid 1000 Rs for installation & Rs 300 extra for line maintainence (when I recharge my account with FK3M package) so whay should I pay a extra amount again when the problem is not from my side.

                                    Pls help me to get this issue solved. my 2 months pac has already expired without use due to this.

                                          I got Sify broadband connection in august 08 where as my residence area is digha ghat, patna 800011.

                                          for 1st 3-4 months, the service was good.
                                          but after that the service provided is horrible.
                                          in last 2-3 months, everyday i have to call to local ISP for connection,
                                          many a times, they don't pickup the call.sometimes on picking call, they say cable problem, LAN card problem, staff not available, any many more excuses.

                                          i pay 800/- monthly but cuold not use it of 100/-.

                                          Hi everyone,

                                          I would like to share one more incident of the sify service at patna. My connection is down since the past four days after complaining to the service provider Mr. Mantu Singh ( Mob. No. [protected] ) it is not yet been sort out. And above all this chaps interaction with customers is like just go to hell.

                                          I gave a call to the customercare nos. but one line is busy, the other one nobody picked up the phone after registering my mobile no. & the third one is ringing but no one pick ups the phone.

                                          Well i request sify that at least keep a local service provider of a good personality & not abullish person because he is the direct mediator with the customer & company. Due to his behaviour the company's name is being put down.

                                          Hope so my problem gets sort out after all this stuff.

                                                It is my humble request to all Bangalorean please dont take sify broadband connection in residence. They never solve any problem. They never provide good service. There are lot of good plans but in paper.
                                                As per the plan night is unlimited but in the night local provider power off the switch till morning 11 o clock most of the time so that you will get BB 101 error each morning. I cant book railway ticket, you cant work from home. Speed is always less than what they said. I am using sify broadband for last six months this month I am planning to chage service provider. In the day time sify customer care number[protected] never recieve calls in the early morning and night time will ask you to press your mobile or land line number so that they can contact you within 1 hour and disconnect the call. But after 48 hours later also you will never get any calls from sify. Each and everymonth I have to call 15 to 20 times a month.

                                                Dont go for sify better option is AIRTEL. or BSNL

                                                The sify company is worst in service and we always suffer a lot firstly the technicians take one month to see our complain and then if they come make silly reasons of the tools required are not present we will solve it tommorrow or later...

                                                I am really so much frustrated with the service of Sify Voip Connetion, i have been using this service from the last 8 years but from the few months it has not been working, i have registerd a lot of complaints to the all nodal and appalete authorioty of sify ltd but they are not considering my problem even they have threatened me to do a case against me for damage of their voip instrument
                                                it was not working properly from the last year i have complaint so many times but and his executive came here to reinstall it but could not be installed even they have send a replaced voip instument from mumbai but it could not be performed as per the sify executive Mr. Ravi,
                                                i have send a lot of reqeust to the sify appalate authority and nodal offricer but they are not hearing me even they have told me to file a case in the court against me becaue of non working of instrument
                                                but i m informing u that i have not touched the instrument it was installed at the teris but due to network connetivity it was not properly worked and when i request to repair if than they have not performed their duty
                                                I am the user of Sify and i have a small business to make ISD call from this line and this line is not accessed by the sify ltd.
                                                they are not ready to repair it they are overcharging Rs. 3000/-

                                                  I have taken an internet connection from sify a week earlier, from the very first day my net is not getting connected properly, every time the error comes BB101 (unable to connect to sify server). after two days i found out that they have not register me, they have given me another person userid to connect in the net.
                                                  now i am not able to connect to the internet from the last three days i am calling the customer care and the person who have installed my connection. Customer is not able to help me out, and the person who have installed my connection is not picking my phone. What to do please suggest.

                                                  Hi,

                                                  I have internet connection with Sify and I have been facing internet problem from the very first
                                                  month, I have been calling to local operator and repetitively raising concerns over my internet disconnection with gateway to SIFY customer care center.

                                                  even today did the same, one fellow came and said it is fixed. Again when I tried after 15 mins does not seem to work. Please advise if something can be helpful to resolve this issue.

                                                    I had ordered a few items from Sify mall on 13th and 14th Nov and my credit card was debited on the same day. I received four items from Ojjas on one day one item against order no s 6700349 m shipment number s[protected]m#sify-ojjas#1i.e a set of blank CDs on their Airway bill number[protected] dated 18/11/2008, whereas four items were to have been received under this order. This one item came alongwith 3 other items from order no S 671085 m i.e telescope, CD holders and toolsets. I was asked to sign receipt for four items in their delivery sheet and on four Proof of delivery notes and copies of the PODs with the invoices were given to me. So far the 3 items under s[protected] have not been received. When I contacted Sify mall they have taken an unduly long time to reply and are evasive in their answers, saying that both the couriers and I have confirmed that only one pack was delivered under order S [protected]m but that Ojjas says that all the items under this order have been despatched. The Proof of Delivery of the Airway bill number[protected] was examined and shows only one item weighing 1.9 kgs which is the weight of the blank CDs. I am not getting either the 3 items ordered or the refund of cash in lieu of these items from Sifymall. In addition an item ordered under order no s 671085 m a Transcend pendrive from Sify mall is yet to be received to date. An item under order no S [protected] a pendrive is yet to be received. Another item ordered under order no s[protected] m a Ganesh in a small temple was erroneously replaced by a Ganesha on a stand and sent back at Sifymall's instructions on 27.11.08 under Airway Bill no of Bluedart [protected] and the correct item is yet to be received. I request you to kindly take up the matter with the sellers and help in receipt of items ordered.

                                                      This is the gist of my complaint, which I have sent to Sify Customercare as well. lets see how they respond:-
                                                      Hi,
                                                      This is with reference to the sify broadband account which I hold with the user id adarsh_reecha. I would like to close this account as it is of no use to me with the broadband connection not working invariably for 5 days a month every month for past 4 month. The height of patience has been reached this time though, with my complaint registered in 29th July (a week ago) with reference number 7282494 being not serviced to as yet.

                                                      I have spent more than Rs 250/- and 2-3 hours of cumulative time in over 50 calls that I must have made to your customer service (which incidentally should get the most pathetic customer service in the world award) numbers both in Delhi and Chennai. Invariably the tape recorders that you call the customer service associates play back the recorded message of " Yes Sir, we understand how you must be feeling (I wish sub-human intelligent people could understand), and your complaint would be attended to in a minimum of 4 hours and a maximum of 12 hours."

                                                      Upon providing them with the fact that I have heard the same commentary umpteen number of times, the buffoons have the guts to provide an assurance that in you'd receive a call from our technical team ( does there exist such a team in Sify?) within a day (which hasn't happened as yet).

                                                      Further on asking for passing the call over to their supervisor ( a floor manager- I hope its not a sweeper), I am invariably told that he is taking another call ( wonder how many disgruntled customer calls they receive every day). In fact two CSA had the audacity to confirm that I'd receive a call from his managers named Prabhu (in Chennai) and another one whose mobile no. is [protected] in an hour's time. I am wondering whether these guys inhabit Earth (as their clocks seem to run too slow, since I haven't received these calls in 4 days).

                                                      Upon asking for the existence of an escalation mechanism, I am told there is none! ( now that was not a surprise, given its Satyam!!)

                                                      So given this wonderful experience that I have had over the last few days, I have decided to switch out of this connection. Given the pain afflicted on me, I'd rather like to publish my experiences with the world, and in fact I have managed to convince my fellow residents in the building to do the same.

                                                      Could you please confirm to me when could I receive the refund of my money, or do need to take a legal recourse for the same.

                                                      I talked to Customer Care Executive
                                                      (i) Mr. Vishwanathan on 11.02.2009 who had been very rude and doesn'nt know how to behave and
                                                      (ii) cuts the call all the time repeatedly without any satisfactory reply for my order.
                                                      (iii) Though he was being spoken with in English, he deliberately asked me that he doesn't know Hindi (although he was many a times was speaking in Hindi and was not ready to listen to the other side). He did so as he was not ready to listen to me and cut the call. Whereas the option I opted was Hindi. Why option of Eng / Hindi is being provided ?
                                                      (iv) I was told to send an e-mail to track my order. It was already sent which is still awaited.
                                                      (v) I placed an order vide number s[protected]m for Rs. 14337/= and payment type 3D Secure Payment Gateway HDFC Authorised Code 000238 Status from Bank - Success.
                                                      (vi) It was told that the payment was received on 10th of Feb, 2009. When the order was booked on 6th Feb. it was confirmed from the toll free number and I was assured that the item will be received within 5-7 working days and latest by 13th.
                                                      If such an irresponsible reply as is received from Mr. Vishwanathan, and no tracking method is available at your end, we would never like to book any items which i booked from your site for the first time. Your are running business getting orders from we customers only. If we are abused by u people, I regret to say that no further orders will be made through your site. Further, ur site will never be recommended from we people.
                                                      Further Mr. Dilip had a talk with me who assured me to tell the status latest by tomorrow.
                                                      In case the order cannot be executed latest by 13th, the same may please be cancelled and the money may kindly be refunded to me. An urgent reply is solicited. as the product is needed for a function. else it could have been purchased from the open market / showroom may be at higher price.

                                                      Guys, please do never have a Sify connection if you want to have peace of mind! The most useless of all the services that will pluck all your hairs from your head! I have to finally call off from Sify, too.

                                                      There is no customer care, no service, and ...the technical team? Nothing of that sort exists...

                                                        Respected sir/madam,
                                                        I am a regular customer of sify broadband service by local cybercafe owners in our area. They all have varying prices. For example once I went to a cybercafe other than my usual one I was shocked that they charged Rs.8 for 15 minutes while the other cybercafe owner charged Rs.8 for 15 minutes.

                                                        Moreover for 15 minutes its clearly mentioned that Rs.6.25 should be charged. The cafe owners are fooling customers.

                                                        Please check into this matter.

                                                          my userid is newashok. i have purchased your connection on 17th dec.from the first day problem was request time out.that problem occurs everyday. the problem was solved in next 24 hour.
                                                          after solving the problem i found an another problem with net speed and data transfer rate.i have 128kbps unlimited plan.sir some time speed indicates 11mbps, 5.5mbps and 1mbps. and the data transfer rate is around 7.sometimes it downby 0kbps.sir its my request to take immidiate step so that data transfer rate will be increased and i get better connection as i expected from sify.
                                                          Local franchisee are not doing any favour.they told me that if i do login from my server they you will get good internet speed and transfering rate.i don't know. the local franchaisee of wireless service in ashoknagar is mr.vijay.his mobile no is[protected].
