Misbehaviour by railway reservation counter staff

The railway reservation counter staff at chikkabanawar railway station(BAW) of the south western railway was shoutimg at a passenger for asking wether he will get tatkal ticket or not. She teared his booking form and asked him to shut up and leave the counter.
Its very sad to see such incidents happening as people in their posts misusing their privilege as a govt staff.
It was around 8.10 in the morning and it was a lady staff (doesnt know her name).
Kindly ask them to behave properly or atleast train them in how to attend to customers. I am not writing this suggest you to make them aware that its the people that they serve keeps them to their jobs

Train 01302 - Teminated till solapur instead of Mumbai CST

My wife and kids were suppose to travel from SBC (Bangalore cantonment) to Mumbai CST on[protected] in A2 coach with PNR [protected] on reaching the station they were informed that train will be terminated till Solapur only, which was not feasible to travel with kids and elderly mom as I was not traveling and so we made a complaint with TDR[protected] which was rejected saying ticket was not cancelled 48 hours prior to travel.
My bases of case is as follows:-
1. The train is terminated to Solapur without any prior information given.
2. Ticket is still overcharged as its till Mumbai CST (final destination) and its terminated at Solapur which is simply incorrect and not providing any source of further transportation.
3. Complaint no. TDR :[protected] rejected saying did not cancel 48 hours before travel, what about Indian railway they also did not have courtesy to inform themselves their destination is terminated short to Solapur.
Being a regular traveller by Indian Railway and bases of above arguments I deserve a full refund.

My uncle mr.kumaravelu as ex TT. His wife dhanalakshmi her age 60 yrs. She can't able to walk BCS of her knee problems wants to undergo cataract surgery, where we admit her at Narayana netralaya. As we request you representative lend one letter, but your people behaviour is highly topical that they made my wife go here and there. Also they told to go to some other hospitals. As operation time fixed. Your people activity made impathtic. If it would have been emergency they will behave like this. Regards rangasamy sashirekha. M [protected]

I visited ksr bengaluru station on 8/03/2020 via 2 wheeler
The persons who are standing near the entry and exit of railway station are charging more money for visiting railway station
Without receipt they ask for 15rs
If we ask receipt they charge it 25rs for 5 minutes visit and mention 4 wheeler in place of 2 wheeler and don't. Mention vehicle number
If we ask anything about this the staff will behave rudely like rowdies and came to threaten me
Its very shame on staffs like this
Please look out with this regard and help others to not charge more

It's so worst and unethical service by your mysore division railway station ticket counter person, today morning i had requested one daily pass & one ladies senior citizens' ticket, but thy charged me as normal ticket fare even when i asked him... What kind of staff in counter & working with railway... Now question will be there any action or just case closed without any action...

kr puram railway station

Dear sir,
Now a days, as a part of decentralization, railways have shifted starting & ending points for many trains to k r puram in bangalore, which is more than 30-40 kilometers away from bangalore city.
It is a good move to avoid congestion at bangalore central stn. But before taking such a step it is necessary to ensure that the suburban stations, like kr puram have all necessary infrastructures like pre paid autos, taxies, well maintained waiting rooms, wash rooms etc. But kr puram stations lack all these basic infrastructures. I had a bitter experience 2 days back.
A city bound train got terminated at kr puram for some reasons. The passengers were running around without knowing what to do. Railways had already charged full fare upto ksr/banaswadi stations. Autos were quoting exorbitant charges, taxies were not available. There were not any conveyance available to nearby metro.
Without knowing what to do, i with my wife and dad (91 years), took an auto to bayappanahalli, which is about 4 kms away (At a fare of rs.170/- after lots of negotiation). Took a metro from bayappanahalli, went to city and took another auto to home.
Railways never imagine the plight of common man when they take such abrupt decisions.
I suggest u make more value additions to existing facilities, rather than causing problems to the lakhs of passengers who contribute to the kitty of government of india.

loss of luggage
Dear sir,
I boarded the udayan express from sbc bengaluru, on the 23rd of december, 2019 from platform 1. While my luggage was being scanned, mistakenly it got replaced and got lost. I was not having my luggage in the train and most probably it has been left in the station platform itself.
Hence it is my earnest request to please look out for my baggage. It is really necessary and important for me as it contains important materials and valuable items. I would be really obliged if you do so. It is a light dark brown mix trolley bag with black wheels with 'diplomat' branding in it.
It is heavy and puffed up and has a lot of luggage in it.

Dear south western railway,
I am writing to complain about my experience on your train this evening. I am travelling on the sleeper train from hosapet to mysuru.
My husband and i booked first class tickets three weeks ago. He was put in a compartment with a family group of two males and one female, and i was assigned a compartment with three males. This is completely inappropriate.
We spoke to the conductor and his solution was to swap one of the men in my husband’s compartment with me. This gentleman very kindly agreed but this situation should never have occurred in the first place.
The conductor on the previous sleeper train we travelled on said it is not possible to reserve a two bed compartment - why not?!
There are at least 2 two-bed compartments in this carriage, one has a couple and another has two gentlemen.
If you are going to mix people up surely you should have single sex compartments?
I’m also very surprised that the first class bunks do not have curtains around the beds for privacy, when other carriages do. Why is this?
I was very excited to travel on indian trains as i’d heard so much about them and i am really shocked and disappointed at the system. I hope you will look into this as a matter o[censored]rgency - on behalf of all women travelling on your trains.

Daily delay of train number 56224 which have to come from arsikere to tumkur by 7:20, but is been coming at 7:45 it is very inconvenient to passengers to go to their works

the rpf not performing their duties properly

The incident took place on[protected]
I was travelling from ksr to whitefield by the train whose number is 12610. I was having the ticket and there was no space in the general compartment so i was standing at the door of the reservation compartment. Three rpf staff come and start asking for tickets and when people who were not having reservation and who were localite, the rpf did not take any action against them and asked them to move to the last compartment and a few of them neither had a ticket as well.
A lady rpf comes to me and asks for my ticket to which i showed her, she kept the ticket with her and asked me to get down at
Krishnarajapuram railway station.
When i told most of the people in the compartment are not having reservation and are seating here just check them, she replies me saying that i don't want to check them and the tt will check them. I also asked y did you the earlier people who didn even have a ticket to which she replies its my work and you need not ask me anything.
At the 6th platform i was taken to the rpf station where there was an inspector name thimanna. I told the what the 3 rpf police had done in the train. He neglects me. I even asked him the name of the 3 rpf staffs to which he tells me do whatever you want nothing will happen and he did't tell me their name.
We were later asked to go to majestic and pay the fine which we did where the judge also comes 1 hour late at 2pm.
I could reach my home at 4 and my entire day was over and i couldnt go to my office as well.
The rpf does not have an authority to check the tickets of the passengers. Only the tt can check it. These people do not know about the rules as well.
I want strick action to be taken aganist the 3 rpf staff of which 2 were ladies and one men. They left the people whom they knew and who gave them money at the train itself and well they don't know the rules as well.

fans not working
Respected sir/madam,
Fans are not working in waiting hall (Sleeper class), in hospet railway station,
When contacted dy. Station superintendent is telling that rain water went inside fans, but i think it is the responsibility of railway officials to sort out the problem once it is found, as we are paying the price of the ticket, it is our
Right to use the amenities provided by railways.
Kindly solve the problem as soon as possible.

regarding dereservation of coaches

I travel daily between bijapur[bjp] and bagalkot[bgk] railway stations, according to
Ccm/swr/ubl letter no. C.518/de-reservation/policy/2016-17 dtd-15.02.17,
H/c.518/uts/prs/misc/17 dtd 15.02.17,
H/c.518/ubl/prs/misc/17 dtd 30.05.18.
I can travel in reserved sleeper class coaches using unreserved 2nd class ticket, while travelling in sleeper class coaches the tc/tt are not allowing me to travel with 2nd class unreserved ticket, they are saying that you have to pay extra fees to travell in these coaches...
Please help me what i can do for this...

whitefield railway station facilities (bangalore)

There is an appalling lack of facilities at whitefield a railway station. The footbridge is extremely narrow and the steps are crumbling. There is no exit leading to the back side of the station. There are no elevators/escalators for aged or physically challenged people to cross over to other platforms. There is no drinking water. There are no usable toilets. There is no power backup at the station, and the whole station goes dark when there is a power outage. There aren’t any digital display boards or speakers for train arrivals to be announced. Though it is one of the most popular stations in bangalore, it is in a state of neglect.

tc misbehave

Hi sir, this is mahaboobbeg wakil my wife aasma begum traveling from tumkur to haveri dated 23/02/2018 in janshatabdi train train number 12079 after all she is having e ticket after prepared of chart also showing current status wl 2 so she boarded train with help of current status their is no mail messege information that ticket got canceled but the lady tc she tortured and fined around 510 rupess hence my wife cant afford and traveling alone for that amout she tortured and said jump from running train i[censored] dnt have money so this is discusting behaviour of that tc lady such behaviour no one tolarate so i request take necessary action on this above subject mentioned and also at least inform passenger if ticket got cancelled throw messege are any type of media.
I will hope for the necessary action on tc

railway station staff's corruption and misbehavior

On reaching the ksr bangalore station to pick my relatives whose train was yet to reach, we went to the railway staffs to ask them from where to buy the platform ticket. They, instead of responding us, inreturn asked us to show the ticket and charged us fine of rs.300.
The lady was acting very rude and impolite and threatening us to pay the fine else they would take us to police station.
We kept pleading them and to make them understand that we came to them to ask where is the counter, they kept shouting to pay the fine. The second lady there finally agreed and asked us to buy and come the platform tickets. But the first lady held our hands and didn't allow us to go and made us pay fine of rs.300. She said "because you are ladies i'm charging you rs.300, else the actual fine is rs.600"
The police official standing with them was also one of them and was not ready at all to listen to us.
After giving up when we paid the fine of rs.300, the first lady gave us a a receipt copy which was "excess fare ticket". This receipt is issued when passengers travel in train without any ticket or beyond the authorised distance. Whereas we had entered the platform right in front of their eyes, which they clearly refused to agree or even listen.
I even asked them to come and check the camera to prove them that i'm not wrong. But no one listened to us.
Please take some action against such officials as they are taking the hard earned money from people who have not even committed any guilt.
I have attached the copy of the receipt issued by them for proof.

All the people are using the hall and the unreserved passengers are also using the Toilet and make it dirty. There is no control over the room and there is no people to take care.

two wheeler parking in mysore station

I feel that the two wheeler parking fee is too high (₹25 a day) for outdoor parking in mysore. I have observed that they are charging even extra sometimes even though they have tokens by wrong calculation. The people who is looking after is not providing any security for the vehicles, their maintenance is worst and they behave rudely. Most of the times i have observed that bike mirrors will be broken or someone will tear our bike seat covers. There should be fee revision and also strict action have to be taken on the people who are maintaining it especially near back gate 6th platform.

train no 16231/6232 and 16236/35 can it make cut short and avoid ed jn.

Hi sir,
Both the mys-mv and mys-tn express is getting operated via ed jn. It is waste of time for loco change in ed jn jn which it is already crowded and running short of platforms @ed jn. For other kerala bound trains
Can swr avoid this and operate these two express trains via sa-nmkl-krr. So that you can save ample time, distance and fuel as well.
Please consider, as it will help and benefit for railways as well.

I parked my car at ksr bengaluru parking area today. I was charged 30 rupees as parking advance without receipt. According to the notice it is 20 rupees for 2 hours. Department officials please look into this mater.

Please change the lalbagh departure timing:
On[protected] the lalbagh sf departure from sbc 7:00 and arriving at bangarpet 9:00 am. The earlier departure time 6:33 am and arriving at bangarpet 7:33 am. The railway recently change the time for lalbagh sf train no 12608 and speed raised by 3 minutes. The earlier lalbagh sf was departure time 6:30 am is too good. Whenever the lalbagh sf departure time 6:33 am and speed rised by 3 minutes, on that time to now the lalbagh sf train is too too lage. Kindly the lalbagh sf train timings change as the same in earlier days 6:30 am or 6:20 am and reach bangarpet 7:23 am.in bangarpet when reach lalbagh sf on 7:23 am. And signaling to kuppam train by 7:30 am exactly no change.
There is no early morning trains to chennai, kerala and north side like local mysore there is lot of trains departure from sbc. The lalbagh train & sanghamitra trains are too rush. Kindly introduce one train early morning 5:00 am or 5:30 am trains to kerala, chennai or bombay side.
The cauvery express trains departure from sbc 23:50 pm to chennai. And lalbagh sf 6:33 am in between time gag there is no trains.

worst planning of connectivity with whitefield bus stand and railway station

Whitefield bangalore has been the stop for most of the itpl commuters daily.
But once you getdown from train, to reach bus stand one has to travel a round about for 1 km to reach the bus stand.
The bus stand is adjacent to the railway station, but no way to go. Only way to reach is take the round about. People have to jump walls or walk on tracks to avoid it.
Not sure why railway department has not considered this stupidity. And continuing without even caring for passengers.
Request you to kindly address and help public

Currently it appears there is some work underway to build a walkway from the station to Kadugodi Bus Depot. However, I find the lack of elevators/escalators unacceptable! How are old people or physically challenged individuals supposed to climb the footbridge! Other basic amenities like drinking water or toilets are also unavailable. Tax payers are being taken for a ride.

train delay

Hi, my name is ravinand d’souza and i am working in bangalore, hence i travel from mysore to bangalore vice versa on a daily basis under the season ticket id# d078c6t05a. I have been noticing that while i am returning to mysore in the train kaveri express. Train# 16021, mostly the train reaches mysore by 6:40am but the train has been parked outside the station for nearly 20 to 25 minutes unnecessarily even though the platform is empty. The person in charge on allowing the train to enter the station is delaying the train unnecessarily by shunting the other trains to the platform which is scheduled to depart later in the day. This is causing lot of inconvenience. This is happening on a day to day basis. I request you to kindly look in to this before it gets escalated to the consumer court.

In KSR railway station near metro station counter. Any time not allow disability consisons. Pls arrange disability facilities and allow consisons certificate

misuse of reserved compartment and inaction by the ttr

I travelled yesterday (21st july 2018) from mysuru to bangalore via the chamarajanagar to tirupathi train # 16219. I had reserved berth from mysuru jn to bengaluru cant. And since i booked tatkal tickets i paid rs. 385/ ticket instead on the usual rs.120.
And in-spite of doing all the above i had the experience of travelling in the general/unreserved couch. People had indiscriminately occupied all seats and when we showed our booking they just did not respond. One travelled even argued that there is no reservation during the day (9 am - 9 pm).
The ttr finally arrived to check when the train had reached ksr after almost 3 1/2 hrs of the train leaving mysure. When we mentioned to him about people occupying reserved seats illegally he said he could do anything.
If the railways cannot ensure that people follow the rules of not getting into reserved compartments without proper reservations then they should make all compartments as general and not cheat us citizens by taking so much money and not providing the promised service and facilities.
Shame on our railways... Felt like goonda raj.

passengers with general ticket are sitting in sleeper coach in my seat and fighting with me but the tc didn't ask them to show their tickets

Hi sir, my name is Harikrishna I am traveling in 11304 train from dharwad to Bellary in sleeper coach. Passengers with general tickets are entering sleeper coach but the T C is not asking them to show their tickets. These general class ticket passengers are fighting with me. They are not supposed to travel in sleeper coach. I asked them to get down from my seat but they refused to do so. They entered the sleeper coach from koppal station to Bellary station. Total 7 members (general tickets passengers). And their is no jug in toilet to use it.

I am a citizen of mysore city, i don't what the hell had happened to india railways.
After doing the 2 way tracks. They are not able to provide a better service.

Every train is running on time except one and only train Marrikupam - KSR Bangalore City 8:00 AM is late every single day for atleast 1-2hr should we have to go office on time or not.
Kindly, look after this issue there is so much time to run that stupid expresses after this train timings.

putting more demu and memu trains from whitefield to byappanahalli
Please provide more number of trains between these two stations to facilitate more number of passengers who are travelling from city to itpl and back from itpl to city during morning 8.30 am to 10am and in the evening 5.30 to 7 pm. During these hours it is very hectic to travel in bus or car or in two wheeler in whitefield road from byappanahalli. If our railway department considered this matter seriously it is very encouraging to our citizen to use mass transport and thus avoiding more pollution. Also we request railway authorities to maintain proper timings with less delay so that we can save wastage of man hour

In tumkur insaid railway station milk parlour is taking extra money ..7-4-2018 I took one amul milk ..that actual price is 20 rupe ..but they took 25 ..I asked them for what purpose u r taking 5 rupe extra ..they said for cooling we are taking 5 rupee extra ..so please take a action on them .bcz for all product they r taking 5 rupee extra .. in pay and use toilet also taking 2 rupe extra ..but in the board for toilet 2 rupe and letrin is 5 rupe .but they are taking 7 rupee ..please take a action sir

train delay 22685 std 17th feb 2018
Dear team, what the service u providing?? T. No 22685 start from ypr to chandigarh delay started 1hrs from starting point and it's happen alternate weeks to this train we suppose to reach hubli 9:40... It super fast train and we paid extra charges also but it's running like local train each stion it stop where it has only 3 stop between ypr to ubl.. Now it's runnins 2 :30 hrs late controller not bother about this... If late can't u manage the delay time or u make more late?? What about us to go other place... Are u guys are serious?? So many co passenger fighting with tt... Who is thr concern person if such delay happen...

Very sad to tell this kind of people are working in our indian railway department.
We came from secunderabad to yeshwanthpura with 44 people.
When we are going out we were carrying 13 kg dance material. When we enter to exit gate other passengers were going without showing anything. We respected her and we went to show our tickets to your checker.
She suddenly came and telling without luggage charged u people r came from rail. U have to pay luggage charge. We told ok. She told approx 50 kg will charge, but we were carrying just 13 kg. We asked how it is possible. Again she told otherwise will lodge police complaint.
Pls check before hiring to railway department this kind of people.
They will spoil our railway respect in our country

Observed that only 3 counters will be opened around 5 am even 6 am, then what is necessitie of having 11 counters in Kempegowda railway station, where people need to stand in queue for more than half an hour, it leads to miss the train.
