Hi, As indicated by many other people, I have been experiencing the same problem of parking attendant asking for Rs 20/- for 2 hours of 4 wheeler parking while the sign board said Rs 10/- only. This has happened to me both at Cantonment railway station and Yeshwantpur railway station. I have ended up in heated arguments with the parking attendant over this. I understood there have been many other people like me who have been in such a situation. I therefore request the railway authorities to take up this matter with the concerned people. The issue here is not about expensive parking charges, it is either about malpractice by the parking attendants or improper display of parking rates. It would be really helpful if there is proper information display at the right place where consumers get to know the parking charges that are to be paid. Hope the railway authorities will take quick action on this. Thank you. Regards, Girish

WHEN THE REAL PRICE IS 465/- ONLY FOR THE GENERAL TICKET OF THE BANGALORE CITY TO MALDA TOWN. IT HAPPENED IN BANGALORE CITY STATION ON JANUARY 7, 2015, AT 9:47 PM, WINDOW NO.24 .

        Hi all, I am Bharath from yeshwanthpur railway quarters there is no power from past 2 days only in our house we had asked them to repair this since yesterday but not even a single person turned out and till today they is no power, as a student it is very difficult for me to study during nights. I would request you to take a strict action towards this as this is happening for the third time this month and all the wires they have put are old and that is the reason for power cut.           Sirs, today morning I boarded Train No.16578 at 5.25 AM from Davangere to go to Yeshvanthpur. The Schedule time for reaching the said Train is about 11.15 AM. The train went in time upto Tumkur, thereafter it halted Gollarahalli and Chikkabanavar and many small stations for a long time and reached Yeshvantpur Jn at about 1.45 pm and many trains from Shimoga and other places were passing from the same stations. The purpose for which the train was started is not at all satisfied and totally it is hopeless than a local train. This train is started for the sake of public from Davangere and surrounding areas to go to Bangalore, have their work done and return by the same train on the same day. But the purpose for which it is started has not been solved. The Siddaganga Intercity Express which will come to Davangere at 8.15 AM will reach Bangalore SBC at 2.00 PM. Then what is the use of this Harihar Intercity Train, which will not reach the destination in time and there is no value for time of public boarding this slow train. If, the news of train going late will spread in public, then no one from Davangere will board this train. It is a request to the officials of South Western Railway to run the Train in time otherwise there will be huge loss of revenue to the Railway Department.

            This is regarding the Inhuman behavior and harassment of a ticket issuing person at the ticket issuing "Counter 1" which is reserved for Physically disabled and Senior citizens.I was about to travel in Shimoga intercity express(16201) from Bangalore to kadur which was scheduled to leave at 3.30 PM ON[protected].I went to Counter along with my Concession Railway certificate for disability at around 3.26 PM, 5 min prior to the scheduled departing time. But the person(don't remember the name) at the counter denied me of giving the ticket saying that it was time and the system got locked and the train departed. When i requested him he told me to go to "Counter 15" to take the ticket. As i am a frequent traveler i knew that he was misguiding me and pleaded him to issue the ticket as i was getting late. After many requests he got angry and threatened me that he will call the police and wont issue the ticket.After harassing me he wrote "Time Over" on my concession certificate and threw it at me and told to leave.Then i picked up my form and in anger and frustration i began arguing with him and blabbered few words at him and left the place. He then came running to me forcefully snatched my certificate and dragged me to the inside the counter. He was about to tear my certificate, then without any fault of mine i asked apologies for my words and left the place as i was getting late to catch my train. Is this the behavior that a ticket issuing person behaves with a physically disabled person?? This is not acceptable and this is the present situation with many of the disabled persons like me. This matter should be taken seriously and strict action must be taken against the ticket issuing person immediately.Hope persons like us will get some justice. I had registered a complaint on the Indian railways website the next day of the incident, but until now status is kept as "Pending" and no action is taken.Please escalate the complaint and go through this matter as soon as possible.

              I along with family travelled by train no 02681 on 02/11/14 from mysore to bangalore.This train is supposed to be a premium train charging 5 times the fare of a normal train.Following were the facilities promised by India Railways 1)Reach within 2 hrs 2) free catering as catering charges are included in the ticket. BUT TO OUR SURPRISE THE TRAIN SCHEDULED ARRIVAL WAS 8 HRS AT sbc STATION AND IT REACHED AT 8 20 HRS which led to my daughter reaching exam center late NO CATERING SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO US DURING THE JOURNEY AND WE WERE LEFT TO STARVE. There was no ticket checking during the entire journey and lot o[censored]nauthorised people were travelling in the train. The train was very dirty inside.                 Hi, I have travelled from Yeshwantpur to Kacheguda in 17604 on[protected], and I have to take my bike from Ypr to Kcg in parcel, there I have faced lots of experience, and seen how the people earned money by Bribe, I believe IAS officers also cannot earn money like that. First, I went to parcel office, and one RPF sat @ entrance and asked me for why I went there, then I have told him about my bike, then he stated, first you should do the petrol tank empty and do the packing of bike, so I have asked him, where we can pack the bike, he suggested me to go at outside TEA stall, there it was started the bribe process and I dont know why that Tea stall guy took 500 rs for packing and even I tried to bargain, but they refused, so I have paid 500 rs even though thats normal packing, if we want to cover the full bike we need to pay 1000 rs, they will do wrapping with waste cartoon boxes and dirty polythene bags. After that I took my bike to parcel office and requested RPF person for form, that guy charged 30 rs for that, and who are taking those forms they have to give the 30rs bribe to him, then I went to next guy who will write and take the money for reciept and that guy is not responding properly and that guy is showing frustation to all public who are coming for parcel load/unload, even if we ask about queries/concerns, he is shouting on us for asking questions, and finally that guy given reciept for rs1230/- for my bike, he asked to give 1300/- rs and didnt give me 70rs change back, then he told me to contact one guy who will do the loading, and that guy asked me to give 300/- rs and he stated its big bike so asked 300 rs, ofcourse I have bullet, maybe if we have small bikes he would ask 200rs... I hope packing guy should give the partnership to parcel guys for providing the customers to pack their bikes, and consider even if that guy gives 200 rs from his 500, how much they are earning, I am leaving to your imagination.. so can you please take proper action against them, if you need any evidence, please take any bike as normal person and see, then you will come to know...

                    Travelled in train 16526 between Bangalore city and Tvc. on[protected].TTE on duty asked for RS. 100/- as difference of farein S9compartment. In spite of my personal request too, he was very adamant and didnot issue the receipt which I asked several times.He informed that no receipt will be given whatever be the reasons.He went and slept happily.Pls see and take proper action with an enquiry and punish the culprit if any. Copy to:Sri Sadanda Gowda/Railway minister, Ministry of Railways, RailBhavan, NEWDELHI for immediate action.

                    Hi, I travelled from Bangalore to Chennai on 4th January, 2015 in Train No. 12658 - Chennai Mail at 22:40. I boarded in Bangalore City Junction(SBC) in Couch No. S9 due to heavy rush in general(un-reserved coach) compartment. Before I get into train, I checked with TTE(Mr. Sulok) where I can get any berth/seat in S9. He told he will check and confirm and accepted me to get into reserved coach.
                    I mid of my travel, he came to me and confirmed the seat no. 1(side upper berth) in S9 coach. He said I have to pay Rs. 375 as penalty and charge for converting un-reserved ticket to confirmed berth. I agreed to pay Rs.375. He gave me receipt of Rs. 125(only Rupees One Hundred and Twenty File). When I asked him why he mentioned only Rs. 125 when I paid Rs. 375, he refused to answer to my question. Instead he asked me to get down from the berth and get down from compartment. I argued with him and not accepted the receipt of Rs. 125. I demanded for Rs. 375, which I paid to him. I observed that the remaining (Rs. 250) amount he put in his pocket. Like this he earned nearly thousands of rupees for each journey and making Indian Railways loss.
                    I have seen the same amount he collected nearly from 10+ passengers and issues receipt only for Rs. 125. Due to I rejected the receipt for Rs.125, my allotted berth has been given to other passenger who accepted Rs. 125 receipt and paid Rs.375. I demanded and got receipt of Rs. 375 and stood in the same compartment during my entire journey.
                    I request Railway Intelligence to keep on eye on these type of bribed and corrupted employees to keep railway corruption free. I have receipt of Rs. 375. Just before the bill number he entered other bills of Rs. 125 which I rejected. You please enquire on this take appropriate action against him.
                    I don't know about the TTE and I am not against him personally. I just wanted to complaint about these type of employees who making our Great Indian Railways mess.

                      Ref: pnr [protected]/train 56213/DOJ:15/06/14 coasch no S3, 9; my complaint to no [protected]: authenticating id ref[protected] i had reserved in the above train for travel on 15th june 2014 from mysore to bangalore. The coach was full o[censored]nreserved passengers and seat no 9 allotted to me was also occupied by one of the unreserved passenger. I mentioned to the passenger who was in seat 9 that the same is allotted and hence requested him...

                      Me & family(4) were reached bangalore city railway station at 8.35pm. On entrance big digital display board had not displayed any information about my scheduled train no 16236 (Mysore Tuticorn express, arrival time 9.10pm). There was announcement at 8.42pm, exact announcement in english "Train no 16236 will probably reach city station by 9.10pm" . Here there is no information about platform number. Again there is same announcement without mentioning platform number at 8.55 pm & 9.02 pm. No announcement happen while train enter the city station platform & departing from station. Because of this irresponsible act from station announcer my family has missed the train. Excuse from Station master : The lady was in duty is very experienced & didn't have missed this things. Why you have not inquiry at the counter. My point : When there is no display working, it is primary duty of station master to convey the same to all people & request them to approach enquiry counter.

                        Further to my earlier complaint, I just got through to Banaswadi RS and I think the phone was answered by somebody (either it was alow level staff or an outsider) who did not know any language other than Kannada and he was very arrogant in his response and when I asked him to give to the SM the call was disconnected. After that I am getting an engaged tone.

                          To-day I have been trying to contact Hosur Rly STn, Carmelaram Rly STn & Banaswadi Rly Stn since 5.15 am but there is no response from any of them. Infact I find that Banaswadi RS is disconnecting the calls and for Carmelaram RS it appears they have disconnected the phone. Moreover I have been trying 139 from 6.10 am and there also I am not getting through. Sir, either ask your SMs to pick up the phone or do away with the telephones so that SWR can atleast need not pay the Telephone bill and can make an earning. I am sure I am wasting my time in writing this as it will be ignored as you do in the case of complaints. But this is for my satisfaction to the fact that I have done something.

I WAS ADAMANT FOR THE COMPLAINT BOOK, THEN AFTER ONE HOUR ARGUMENT I WAS GIVEN THE COMPLAINT BOOK AND I HAVE REGISTERED THE COMPLAINT. NO-025130. A COPY OF THE ON TRAIN COMPLAINT IS ENCLOSED. HOW IS THE RAILWAYS MANAGING THESE CONTRACTORS, MAY BE ONCE THE TENDER IS PASSED REST IS THE CONTRACTOR DUTY TO MINT MONEY IN WHAT EVER PRICE IS SLAPPED ON THE PASSANGERS. ULTIMATLY YHE OASSANGER IS AT THE RECIEVING END. STERN ACTION TO BE TAKEN THE MANAGER ON TRAIN WAS SO ARROGANT, NOT COOPRATIVE, MANNERLESS.

                                Dear sir , I Pushpa have buy the ticket from Bellary for the place Munirabad - Bangalore in HAMPI EXPRESS Train i want to join my journey from Bellary so i went to the Bellary Railway station to change my boarding point i.e from Munirabad to Bellary i have written my letter & submit them but the Railway Supridient officer did not given me the permission to change my boarding point ... So i kindly request you to please take the very strict action regarding this & we are not satisfied by ur service so please take the action as soon as possible ... I want to join my journey from Bellary as my relation were there in Bellary so i want to start my journey but the officer did't given me the permission ...                                   I would like to place my request here by to dtop atleast one train towards chennai in night.
                                  This would help people travelling from bangalore to malur to travel during night and also as the town is heavily populated it would be convenient to travel to chennai also.
                                  There are more than 5 trains in night daily which goes to chennai.
                                  I request you to make a stop of atleast one train.The other stops bwt n kjm are not convenient to reach at night.
                                  I would suggest to stop Kaveri Express whuch stops every major station including smaller stations than malur like kengeri,srirangapatna,kuppam,whitefield etc but not malur.
                                  Please consider the request n make convenience.

                                    I travelled from bangalore to madural with an e ticket, PNR no [protected], train no 0689, on date 6th sep. The ticket was purchased under tatkal quota as at the time of reservation it was indicated that in other quotas tkt was not available.
                                    On reaching the train and travelling upto madurai i found out nearly 30-40 % births were vacant and the chart also confirmed the same.
                                    I wonder why I was not allowed to reserve under normal category when so many births in my coach[S7] were vacant. in my cubicle itself against 8 births only 4 were occupied from bangalore to madurai. On arrival at madurai when enquired with other coach passengers they also said many births were vacant all thro the travel in their coaches also.
                                    I am shocked at the way I have lost my money and I wonder who is responsible for all this malpractises/lapses
                                    Why should i loose tatkal charges when that was not warranted.Is the Indian railways become another money maker by cheap cheatengs?
                                    Is not me am entitled for refund appropriate?.
