Ordered a box in October 2023 with expected deliver in nov last week.
They have still(April2024) not shipped and and are also refusing to give me a refund.
Every week they puch the shipping to next week and have been lying to me since December.
I keep emailing them but never get an actual reason. They have take my money and refuse to give it back or send the product.

HI! I've had a terrible experience from The Big Bok Box. I ordered a box in their Garage sale on 10th March 2023 which they said will be shipped in mid-April. I mailed them in august, to which they responded that 2 items are broken and they will get it remade from the vendor again for which they require 10 days. In September, they said they'll provide refund for the complete box. But this seem absurd, after 6 months they are cancelling the order. They should have known these things from the beginning that they won't be able to fulfill the order. why making the customers wait for so much time and refund the original amount.
I want to pursue this legally too, anyone else on similar grounds can please let me know.

Delay of 3+ months for delivering Mocha Box
Hello,
I placed an order to recieve a book box from the above said company on 1st April. I was expecting it to be delivered by May as mentioned on the website and official Instagram page. It's July 5 now and I am yet to recieve my order. I am relocating overseas next week so I requested them to cancel the order now and initiate a refund which they are refusing to do. In case of failure to provide services, it's my right to get a refund. After I told them I would complain in consumer court, they are trying to pacify me over email by saying they'll send some other books which I did not even order. I have paid 3k for a book box which is not a small amount. Please help me in doing the right thing.

I placed an order for the August Make Your Own Box on the 15th of September and I am yet to receive it as of May 2023. I asked for an update back in November 2022 and was told by their team that they will have the stock by December or January. It's been five months since then and not only has my order not reached me, but there have been no updates from their end. This is extremely poor customer service and mismanagement and it has discouraged me from placing an order from The Big Book Box ever again. I also sent an email about this and received a very unsatisfactory, generic response.

Scam!!!!
I've been attempting to get back my funds from them for several months, but I've been encountering errors. I strongly advise against depositing your money on this site. I was able to recover my money thanks to Durafox Tech, I came across their services via Google, and they assisted me in regaining access to all my funds.

Cafe mocha box

I had ordered a cafe mocha box from therm for last year April. They dispatched around January 2023 after multiple follow ups. However the package was returned back and trying to reach customer service since then for the last 5 months but there was no update. They are literary robing the customers. They should atleast try to resolve the issue. Even after sending multiple mails to the customer service, this is not looked upon

Non-delivery of books
I ordered this box for my father’s birthday in August 2022, and we were promised monthly books. However not even one book has been delivered since 8 months!! They are a fraud company, they don’t even respond to customer support and have literally ghosted me. The company should be shut down and it’s founders should be put in jail.

Delay in the fan box and customer support is not responding

They have not delivered my Fan Box that I placed around last year Christmas time. Its still not delivered. They have said 4 times now that they have shipped it but each time their statement changes. I paid more than 2000 rupees for them. And I feel like it's all down the drain now. The excuse they make up for late email replies is that "your mail was in our spams" or something. They take money and scam you. I mean, they are an enterprise of Chapteronebookstores, what can you expect anyways lol.

I have placed an order for a monthly book subscription on 2 August 2022, afterwhich there has been no update until 6th March 2023 (this also I only received after MULTIPLE emails and after filing an online complaint on consumer forum). I was told that my box would be dispatched by the last week of March. That of course did not happen.
I received a new update from them on 27 March 2023 stating that the publishers havn't dispacthed the books and that if it takes any longer we will be given swap options.
The thing is the service they offer is very specific, i.e, themes of boxes and I opted specifically for the Dark Academia box, so if that product whihc I ordered is not available then my money should be refunded promtly because its been more than 8 months now.
Their Support System is very pathethic and take ages to respond back to qeries. I really regret ordering from them.

Dispatched the box on wrong address and not delivered on correct address

I ordered my june 22 box and they dispatched the order on my previous address which i didn't even mention while placing this particular order. Then in jan 23, I got notification that its been dispatched and while tracking i checked that its destination is my previous address which i have already removed from my big book profile and updated the address. I did send a mail that time itself so that they can change it there itself . but nothing happened and some days later i got delivery notification and i asked courier service to return it to origin.
After all of this, i again sent them mail.. they said they will send an update but nothing's been done yet. I have logged multiple customer support request and spamming their insta posts as last resort but to no avail. I am just so frustrated with their response and customer service is pathetic

I opted for a 3 box subscription on the first week of Feb. It is December now and I am yet to receive my last box. The most frustrating thing is that the company continues to keep on taking future orders from new customers without actually completing their present ones.
Raised multiple tickets, sent them numerous emails but not a single reply. I chose to spam the comment section of their new instagram posts as a last resort but alas, they are actively removing/hiding it. Even sent them DMs but they chose to ignore it.
If you value your time, money and mental health I beg you DO NOT OPT FOR THIS COMPANY. They make hundred excuses without providing a single proof.
RIght now, I can think I have no choice but to give up on getting my final box from these scammers. My money, my time has been lost trying to reach them.

Unprofessional and annoying & unfulfilled order
I had ordered a book box from their garage sale on the 5th of May 2022. And it was supposed to reach within a week or so. Until end of may I didn’t receive the box nor did I hear from the company. So I mailed to enquire about the box by the end of may. Ever since then they had been making various excuses like all boxes will get dispatched together on 15th June with June subscription box, then they said that they mistook my order and blah blah.
Then finally today I asked them for refund as I’m no longer interested in their product.
In today’s times when most services are delivered to you at your door step within two hours who’d like to wait for more than 2 months to receive a book box.
When I asked them for refund they denied and came up with some policy of their company and other vague excuses.
And upon repeated request they’re pressuring me to wait longer for the order.
I’m in no mood to receive this order and I don’t wish to be associated with this company and this team which is highly unprofessional and in-compliant.
Since this is a pre paid order they’re acting smart with the customer.

First, they didn't send me the box on time as there was mess up in their dashboard.
After doing an email marathon for more than 2 months, items were missing when I received the box.
Again, email marathon has begun and have no idea when they are going to ship the missing items.
Their customer support is pathetic & say one thing first and then change their statements & commitments.

Failure to Deliver Product + Unreliable Customer Support

I placed an order for two limited edition book boxes on March 31st, 2021. Both products came with a guarantee to ship before a specified date or they'll provide you with a full refund. They've since removed this claim for one of the boxes I purchased (The Shadowhunters Box), but for the Night Circus Box their projected shipping date was August 31st, 2021. The shipping date for The Shadowhunters box was before August.
Since placing this order, I've submitted 3 tickets.
The first ticket was submitted July 24th, 2021, inquiring why the Shadowhunters box hadn't shipped and received the following response: "Thank you for getting in touch. The Shadowhunter boxes will be shipped sometime in the month of August. The timeline for the Night Circus box is yet to be decided. The tracking details will be sent on your registered mobile number once they have been shipped through which you can track your order. Rest assured, your box of happiness will definitely be worth the wait and bring a smile on your face. Until then stay safe, and take care of yourself, "
The second ticket was submitted September 8th, 2021, again inquiring about why the Shadowhunters box had yet to ship despite being informed it should be sent in August. I also asked why they did not openly address shipping delays - they never send out mass emails informing customers of WHY their orders are delayed. They at some point had a shipping updates page, but this was not kept up to date. Their response: "Hope you're doing well. Apologies for the inconvenience and delay caused. Some of the shadowhunter box goodies are yet to come from the vendors. The box will be shipped by the end of September. Rest assured, your box will be delivered to you soon.
I hope I was able to address your query, If you need any further assistance, you can reopen the ticket by replying back to this email. I will be more than happy to reply back with a resolution."
Third ticket was submitted December 5th, 2021, AGAIN inquiring about why my box hadn't shipped. I find it incredibly unprofessional that they do nothing to update their customers on the status of their orders, and if you want any update you need to actively seek out their customer support. Additionally, as seen from the emails, they consistently "reassure" you that the product will ship at some other specified date - not a "maybe" of "possibility" of being shipped, but a statement that tries to reassure you that it will definitely ship during that particular time. This has proven to never be the case. Their customer support is unreliable and merely writes things to appease the customer instead of being open about the situation and publicly addressing delays. It's incredibly infuriating.
It has now been nearly 10 months since I placed the order. I sent a 4th ticket today asking for a full refund as I'm confident they won't deliver, and if I ask when they're going to ship I'm sure I'll just receive the exact same kind of response as in the previous 3 tickets.

Had Book their June box and was expecting the box in June itself. It is nearing December (26.11) and I haven't received the box yet. Many mails sent across, 4 tickets raised and they keep saying since the box was misplaced during delivery they will send across a new one.
Haven't received anything till date and also now they have stopped responding to tickets and mails.

It’s already one year I haven’t received my order neither I m getting refund. The customer care service is very poor. They are not responding. Very unethical and unprofessional.

Money has been deducted twice with no refund

This company is book box brand where they curate books and bookish merchandises. I ordered a book box that cost 2479 after discount. I paid the amount via Google pay, it showed successful and the money was debited from my account but the order failed at their end. I ordered again and another 2479 amount got debited.
I wrote to the company registering a ticket that money has been deducted twice so please refund the extra amount.
They replied that due to lockdown, the refund process is failing so we will refund the amount after the lockdown gets over.
After five months and countless follow-ups I am yet to get the refund.
These fraud people are not even replying despite raising two more tickets recently.
I have attached the screenshots for the money deducted. Please help.

I ordered a harry potter mega merchandise box from this online website on 10th april 2019. I have yet to receive the order and no assurance has been provided so far. I have engaged in a lot of less than fruitful conversations with their customer cate executives and to no avail. After placing the order i have not received a valid order id and they have backtracked on sharing the shipping dates on 11th november, the reminders which i received on my phone, and went on to vaguely mention that my box is in the third lot that would on 25th november. When i confronted them with the latter after the commencement of devember, asking my order id and tracking details they have not complied. I even registered a complaint with razorpay and they have replied that transaction was successful. Pleaae intervene and mark this website for i feel duped all in all! Please let me know of any updates.
