    The issue was resolved, I have sent a mail to tortilla team by that mail this hyderabad service guys responded or as i have posted complaint in consumer complaint web by seeing this they have sent the excutive i dont know exctly but the issue was resolved. the product was working fine only the service was not good from hyderabad team.

      We had purchased a Tortilla Roti Maker from Basic Associates on 15 May 2011 from Sakal Exhibition till the time the sale did not happen the representative was very nice and good. But after the sale the service given by Basic Associates Pune is PATHETIC.

      I have not yet seen the demonstration from the representative, till date we have called a couple of times on [protected] the person who is picking up the call he always says we will send to you today. I dont know then and which today he is taking about. If required I am ready to submit my Outgoing Calls Data as a proof o show how much times we had called.

      Today 04.06.11 when i called him he was so arrogant, i was shouting at him and there was no response from him as if he had kept his mobile aside for me to shout and when I finished then he said Hello after 5 minutes.

      The Roti maker which we have purchased rotis are never soft it always becomes thick.

      Me and my family have become very frustrated as the Roti Maker we have taken is noting but a show piece.

      Is this the service we get after the sales then really the company is just a sales oriented company and not a customer centric.

      I MUST SAY VERY PATHETIC & BAD SERVICE GIVEN............

      We are exactly going thru the same. Luckily only difference is we at Sakal Exhibition only paid 200Rs to book it. The guy nevertheless showed up with promises made to demo. My wife has made hundreds of calls to there various locations & number given by them. Cannot even get our deposit back now.

      Do not do not ever deal with Basic Assocites any one. Must complain to Sakal to stop them from coming to their exhibition again.

      Same experience. We have paid 200 Rs to book the roti maker, from Basic associates on 16.12.2012, at Sakal Utsav 2012 exhibition at Pune.Till date we have not received delivery.The address printed on the invoice is from Goregaon(West), Mumbai.
      Made many phone calls on the number[protected].The guy gave another mobile numbers which are not responding.

      Do not do not ever deal with Basic Assocites any one. Must complain to Sakal to stop them from coming to their exhibition again.

        I Purchased a Trotilla rotimaker 3 months ago, from the dealer which is giving demo & selling roti maker in Big Bazar,
        while selling they were telling that our service is so good that for any reason we give replacement for the
        Rotimaker with in 3 months this is my 2 complaint (issue) after calling to them service they just tell we will send a person in 2 days ...but they never last time they sena a person after 5-6 days that too i was again & again calling them...my Rotimakers plug got burnt they said no need to replace the whole rotimaker they need to replace only the cable, now to after complaning it is almost 6 days but no body has turned up yet , while giving the complaint they dont understand any other language other than Tamil & i dont know tamil even English also they dont know ...dont know what kind of after sales service they are having ......It's my advice to all ...dont Go for Tortilla rotimaker ...i THOUGHT IT IS A LOCAL COMPANY so will get good service...but it is the worst.....The product should be baned form Selling from BigBazar....because people r seeing to big bazar & buying the product...

          EXTERMELY DISMAYED BY THE SERVICE AND PRODUCT.
          I PURCAHSED THE PRODUCT FROM BIG BAZAAR , CHINCHWAD.ON 29/4/2010.
          there was problem with the roti maker where it was not switching on , was taken by Mr Ahmed shaikh on 09/10/2010 .He said that thermostat was not working ,repaired the product and gave it in a few days.Again the same problem on 13/10/2010, again repaired and returned . Surprisingly again on 20/10/2010 and unbelievably again on 23/10/2010 the same problem occurred & same action.
          I have in writing the date & signature of the concerned person.Again the same problem was reported on 16/11/2010.After that it was repaired and the product was working fine for a few days.Notice that the same problem has occured for 6 times within a month & my number of servicing also were used for this. ( 6 were sued & entered out of 10.
          On 14/2/2011, Handle of the roti maker suddenly was not functioning properly.Now i was charged Rs 100 as service handling charges.Now again on 14/04/2011 the same problem has reoccurred and now the sales guy Mr Pavan is talking rudly and blaming our use .And we have always have to go to big bazaar to deposit the rotimaker & then again to collect .
          Very bad service and disappointing product after promise of 2 years warranty.

            I purchased the roti maker referred to above. It worked fine for one month. I purchased it from Basic associates at Big bazar, khanapur road on 06/06/2010 vide Order No 716. It worked fine for about one month. After that the thermostat is not working and the rotis also are not being rolled ad they are very thick, and there is burning smell. I contacted Pradeep group co-ordinator. The said Pradeep asked to contact John Raj who only gave me honeyed assurance that he would visit me very shortly. This went on for a long time. I am a consumer under the consumers protection act and hence I claim the amount of Rs 1,875/- price of roti maker along with compensation of Rs 5,000/- for the mental loss and agony suffered by me. In today cut throat competition the company is not ready to render any service and cheating the public at large. I have lost faith in your company and claim rs 1,875/- along with compensation of Rs 5,000/- immediately

              I purchased Tortilla Roti maker 2 years back and after three months the appliance stoped working. we put complaint with the local service provider and after few requests someone came and changed the heating coil. within 20 days the equipment stopped working and ever since i have been requesting for repairs but nothing happened. thereafter i stopped complaining. recently a month back i felt the need for the roti maker as my mother was not well and again put my complaint with the local service provider here. hehas been promising me that he will come and attend the problem but nothing has happened so far.
              now i want to bring this company to books and go for leagal proceedings.
              i want somebody to help me to reach cosumer court for the same.

              tortilla roti maker — Delayed service

              Two months ago ( In the month of Oct 07last week ) , I had telephonically logged complaint on non working of rotimaker. That time I used live in Gurgaon. Tortilla representstive at Chennai , conveyed me that soon they are opening service in Delhi. My complaint was un attended till Nov. Then I shifted to Bangalore in December 07 and again requested for service with local as well as Chennai . The product is sold with promise of life time warranty( I have signature from company representative).
              I do not know what is life time
              With desperation I am putting this mail

              I purchased Tortilla Rotimaker from Big Bazar (Basic Associates Receipt No. 047) on 8 Aug 2009. My complaints are similar to the other customers. First they never come for a demo and the product hardly works for 1 or two months. The roti was not coming out properly and the dough was sticking to the top plate. I took the product for repairs to their office and the repaired it but the problem returned after 20 days. It is high time this product is banned by some appropriate authorities. ADVISE TO OTHER CUSTOMERS - DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. IF THE HANDLE BREAKS, IT WILL RESULT IN SERIOUS ELECTRICAL INJURY TO LADIES.

                The Torilla Roti Maker manufactures Roti maker using very very poor quanlity raw materials and added to this is their very very poor service.Its now almost 3 months they have taken the unit for repair and not returned yet. They don't even pick up calls. I understand for entire Hyderabad & Secunderbad they have only ONE engineer to visit the sites and same guy has to repair units in their office.

                Very Very poor Service After Sales.
                No service after sales, Product sold by BASIC ASSOCIATES, HO. 10-3-293/4 Amulya Avenue, VijayanagarColony, Hyderabad-500057 vide Custome Order Form Cum Receipt No.1800 on 02/02/2010. The product is not working after a month. No body is available for service. Whatever the phone nos & address for service given are not responding.
                We had purchased a tortilla roti maker from their outlet at Big Bazaar, Fatima Nagar, Pune. After few months of purchase the equipment is not performing as it should. We called the given number for tortilla for support and demo, however it has been 2 weeks now that they send some one . He collected Roti maker and not returned Yet.

                Every day the person picking the call promising to send some one. They redirected me to call to Nasik office. I called their Nasik office also.They also ask for the same address again and again but with no service. They neither disclose their real name nor their address. They are also not escalating or forwarding our call to any seniors or giving us their names. They are also not willing to give the service engineers numbers as well. They are cheating me fron last 20 months.

                We have been fooled by them without any service. Their site is also not having any links except for the default home page.

                  I have purchased a Tortialla Roti Maker from Basic Associates Hyderabad on[protected] Customer order form cum receipt no 290). It worked fine for 2 months and subsequently the light is not turning on and the roti's are not getting done properly. We stopped using the roti maker and complained several times to the mobile nos provided in the manual. They keep saying we are sending somebody today /tomorrow but there is no proper response or action on this from their side. these responses are been given even by the Manager ( mr. Subramanium mobile no: [protected]

                  Our personal experience with the roti maker has been bad because of the very POOR AFTER SALES service from the compnay and i dont recommend it to anybody for sure.

                  I would like to take up the complaint to Times of India as well as Deccan Chronicle regarding the above issue.

                    WE HAVE PURCHASE A TORTILLA ROTI MAKER ON 18/03/2009 BY CASH MEMO NO. 044 AT BANGALORE. THE SALES PERSON HAD COME AND DEMONSTRATED NICELY, WE THOUGHT IT WILL BE USEFUL. IT WAS WORKING WELL. HOWEVER, AFTER A MONTH WE HAVE NOTICED THAT THE TEFLON COATING HAS STARTED PEELING. WE HAVE LODGED A COMPLAINT WITH THE LOCAL OFFICE, FROM APRIL END, SEVERAL TIMES. WHILE SELLING SALES PERSON TOLD THAT IF ANY COMPALINT IN THE MACHINE WE WILL REPLACE WITH A MACHINE WITHIN A YEAR OF PURCHASE. BUT TILL DATE NO RESPONSE FROM THE SALES PEOPLE.KINLDY LOOK INTO THE MATTER AND DO THE NEEDFUL.

                    I have bought the roti maker and have been using it for more than a year now from the chennai branch; It is very useful and has made life very easy for me; Whenever I call the technicians, they respond and do come for follow ups; I make chapathis, dosas, bread toast, pav bhaji etc with it ; 2 of my relatives have also purchased it, but I am making maximum use of it compartiively!

                    When the coating dulls, you are supposed to pour oil and close it for 5 minutes until the oil heats up properly and then scrape it off; the tech guy did it for me once, and it surely helps
                    worst service in Bangalore, when i bought they have given defective piece, when i called up, they say they will replace, i called 20 times couple of weeks, no one turned up, there numbers are [protected], [protected]

                      I purchased a tortilla roti maker on 22nd Feb, 2009 from Basic Associates and since then for 2 months it was working fine. But after that there was some problem with the thermostat and it was not working. I have called the sales person from Basic associates named Mani (mob # [protected]) but everyday he gives some excuse and ssays that he will be coming the next day. But its been more than a month now and he has not yet turned up.

                      People be aware if anyone from Basic Associates turns up to sale Tortilla Roti maker just beat them and throw them out of the house. These peoples are crooks...they sud be behind the the bars for forgery.

                      worst product, Manufacturer has not taken care of the service after sales. No technical assistance
                      There is no service after sales, i contact many times to this mobile number ([protected]) but there is no satisfaction for me. Product is good but service is very very bad.

                      we have purchased tortilla roti maker from basic associates branch at vijayawada by paying rs1975,after using the product twice it stopped working and when i contacted their service representative says he would come but didn't show up till now. verybad service from these people.

                        I purchased a Rotimaker - through Basic Associates, Malemar road, derebail, konchady, behind shree durga medical, mangalore on 7/10/2007 and the sales executive came to my residence on 10/10/2007 and gave a demo of the product. After two we used the roti maker and it worked fine. and the second time on 17/10/2007 when we tried to use the Roti maker it was not switching on. So, i lodged a complaint with the Sales Executive mr. Johnraj,...
