If you guys don't want to do business close the travel khana I have ordered in vijayawada and order not delivered on top that no message or call to me when I called person speaking rudely and disconnected the phone, is this the way, very disappointing service from TRAVEL KHANA, my money not returned and no confirmation, never seen such a useless Travel khana like thing, see below, if something cannot deliver to customer better close Travel khana permanently, how many people you are cheating like this with stupid business

I had ordered food from travel khana but it didn't delivered gwalior and they are requested me to wait for next station jhansi and even they are unable to deliver next time too. My order number at gwalior 2280194 evening time 6.50pm. 2nd order number 2280335 at jhansi time is near about 10.10pm. Travelling at 21/02/2020 from agracantt to rourkela train number 18478 b1-17

You need to call them more 100 times and they picked up call.

we had ordered on 2nd october dinner 2 combo dal rice and 1 paneer sabzi roti from ajmer station in 12990 ajmer dadar express train.They delivered foods in marwar station without roti and without proper packing like plate or spoon etc.have complaint at the same time to customer care executive he told me to send mail to our company email address.Two days completed still nobody called me neither responded...It shows very very bad service they are giving to passengers on train.

Travel khana is online food booking app available on playstore.. They provide false assurance to customers that they will food on time to customers on stations. I had ordered food on 22 jan 2019 while i was traveling from nanded to jaipur (Train no 12720) to deliver food on next day @ khandwa station. I was totally dependent on them that they will deliver food on time but they haven't deliver any food @ khandwa junction. I was hungry since whole nyt & was totally dependent on them for breakfast delivery but they haven't deliver any food nor they call before reaching khandwa that they are unable to deliver food. There service is totally worst & it's seems that this company is fake.

Food ordered online one day in advance and payment already made online.
Before the train reaching vijayawada, i rang up travel khana and asked them about delivery of food. They had no idea about the delivery and asked me the order number. After i told the order number, they confirmed that the food is yet to be delivered and the train is already arrived.
But after 5 minutes, when the train already left station and i called travel khana, they said they were very sorry that the food could not be delivered.

We had ordered two veg and one mini thali on 29th june 2018 which was to be delivered to us at kharagpur station in our ahmedabad howrah superfast express. The bill was for rs555which we paid in cash. However, after the food was delivered in a rush as the halt in the station was only for 5min, once we opened the parcel, we found that all the three platters that were delivered were mini thalis only. Portion size was very less and items that were mentioned were missing. This was a sheer harrasment at almost 12o clock in the night. We need our money back.

I ordered online food through travel khana to be delivered at guntakal jn when traveling on train no11042 from arakkonam to cstm on 14 may 2018. Online payment was done by me for the money still the food was no delivered to me on the station. When i called travelkha they assured me that the delivery boy is in train only same. The food will be delivered to you. The train stopped there 15 minutes and i called 5 times to them but they did not tell. Me the fact that the food will not be delivered. Finally when the train started i again called that time they told it is not possible to deliver. I was compelled to travel without food. This was the second such incidents of travekhana with me. Some stringent action is required against travelkha. I am not only the victim of travekhana, people like me are also suffering because of travekhana. Such a worst e coommerce should be banned

Travelkhana.com is a cheat…………beware!!!Today while i was travelling from puri. To vadodara through 12843-puri adi exps along with my two friends, i ordered few items for dinner to be delivered to us at berahmpur railway station @08:56 pm. I received no. Of calls and message for the confirmation of our order and soon after we were asked to be seated at our reserved births so that the food can be delivered easily and i was also paid the exact amount of rs. 195/- . On reaching berhampur i called back again when no one turned..

And when ever we are calling they are saying that they will solve it in a week. Still not yet they had considered our complaint, and always they are escaping by saying that they have an technical issue and neglecting our issue.

so we have call backed them and ask for the refund what we must get but they are denying it by telling they will call back and still yet they not have given it.
It happened on November 27 and still now i had not got the refund
so please take this into consideration and please provide me a correct solution on this case.

I travelled from Eluru to Chennai on 22nd November 2016. So, I placed an order for Tandoori Roti with Kadai Panneer.

Whereas I was delivered with Veg Thali, which was really cold and not tasty too.

It doesnt look like fresh as they advertise in their web site.

IRCTC also advertise for them.

Very bad food delivered!!

The delivery person who came in my coach was rushing for collecting money and by the time, I check the dish, he was hidden from the coach.

The thali was supposed to be delivered to another customer who travels to Tirupathi.

I was delivered with Veg Thali and Kadai Panneer. That passenger would have been left with Tandoori Roti alone.

Will this forum help us to get back the money??

I booked food by order no.672053 for rs.371 for supply at kanpur central on 24.11.2016. The food was supplied at 20.15 hrs at the station and payment given to delivery boy.

On opening of plastic sheet of food packet a bad smell suddenly filled. On sniffing the food it was smelling badly.
It was so worst that can not be kept at the garbage side so the same was thrown from the gate.

I hereby inform to all concerned that i have been cheated by the travel khana. Even his menu was not fulfilled as per order given by me.

On my complaint to travel khana, the consumer assistant only apologize for the incidence but not offer me food from next station or refund for the sum paid by me.

Yesterday while i was travelling from jabalpur jn. To gwalior through 12121-mp sampark kranti express along with my two friends, i ordered few items for dinner to be delivered to us at katni railway station @08:25 pm. I received no. Of calls and message for the confirmation of our order and soon after we were asked to be seated at our reserved births so that the food can be delivered easily and i was also asked to keep the exact amount of rs. 495/- ready to be given to the delivery man. On reaching katni i called back again when no one turned up for the delivery even after 10 minutes of the stay of train. Soon the train started moving and a man came in hurry with food packet asking for the money. Since, the train was already started we gave him the money and saw that he rushed very fast towards the door. On checking the food packet immediately i found that the thali, curd & a combo we ordered were missing. One of my friend immediately rushed to the door and found that the delivery man has already de-boarded the train but, he noticed another food packet in his hand which he probably have sold to someone else to earn money. The bill that was given to us was of naman food center, some local vendor near katni railway station. When we called on their number and reported the same issue, the person who received the call started talking absurd and was not even admitting his mistake, rather he said that you are free to complain or to do anything whatever possible in your capacity.
Even the incomplete food that was delivered to us was of very poor quality which was useless for us and we had thrown away it immediately. We lost our valuable money and remained without food throughout the night. Everytime i called travel-khana, i was told that you will receive a call from the concerned department shortly but i haven’t received any such call till date.

I ishaan gupta is travelling to coimbatore from new delhi in kerala express on 15th aug 2016. My pnr is [protected]. I odered food from travel khana on phone. My order wad confirmed on the phone followed by two confirmation messages at 4:55 and 8.25 pm. The order no. Was 548851. The last message again playing with my belief said that the food will be delivered at tirupati station at 8.54 pm and keep the cash ready for making payment. The food was not delivered and i had to sleep empty stomach. I waited till midnight only to sleep empty stomach. This is an act of negligence has caused damage to me in person. I am lodging a complain in this regard and need a resolution and compensation.

The last message again playing with my belief said that the food will be delivered at tirupati station and you keep the cash ready with you. The food was not delivered and the train left the station. I had to sleep empty stomach. I waited till midnight only to sleep empty stomach. This is an act of negligence has caused damage to me in person. I am lodging a complain in this regard and expect some strict action and compensation for me.

I ordered meal for my minor son shaurya, and one of his friend who were travelling in train no.18574 from kota to anuppur on 14/08/2016. I online ordered meal for them through travel khana. I ordered following items in my ordre no.547193 for delivery at katni murwara station,
1. Roti and paneer veg combo qty. - 02 price - 240/-
2. Jeera rice qty. - 01 price - 61/-

Delivery boy came at right time and delivered the order collected the cash rs.310/- and departed immediately. When my son opened the package he was surprised to see that there were no rotis in the box. He tried to find the delivery boy but he was vanished. He also told food quality was very poor and even not worth to eat. After that when i tried to contact their customer grievance no. [protected] it was switched off at 4.30 p. M. On 14/08/2016. When i discussed the issue with some of my friends they shared the same experience with travel khana.

So friends beware of this cheater company. They are looting the people without gun. They charge 300/- for food worth to 30/- only. I strongly recommend not to order foods by travelkhana.

Order id 462704.As per the below order my you were not able to deliver the order .Since you know the food is not available in the train what a customer will do if the order is not delivered on time.After reaching kharagpur station when i called your your customer care executive he told the order has been despatched and i will be getting the delivery.

My question to you what kind of service you are providing.If you cannot deliver the order just switched off the service and please do not harass the customer since they are on travel.

My order has been confirmed before and i didnot take any food from home other wise i could have take the order previously .


Another thing the order was of 370 and i have paid extra service charges while making payment.

My order wad confirmed on the phone followed by two confirmation messages at 5 :07 and 10:30. The order no. was 398810. The last message again playing with my belief said that the food will be delivered at Kanpur station. The food was not delivered and i had to sleep empty stomach. I waited till midnight only to sleep empty stomach. This is an act of negligence has caused damage to me in person. I am lodging a complain in this regard and would also be willing to approach the consumer dispute forum.. Kindly take the necessary action.

Dear TravelKhana.com, before some days i have place order with you people and i made biggest mistake in my life, order was endorse, there was message by you people sended across to me and that guy had arrange local Road food and he has send to me that food was unhygienic and unexpected and which absolutely not worth. That food i can say even animal won't eat, i have called to TravelKhana that guy was accepting ke he has arrange pathetic food for me and he was give discount of rs 100 for my next order and forcing me to eat that food, i have deny and not accepted food. Today I called to TravelKhana for placing order and asking for discount and they offer me only 30 rs on toal bills and the cll centre guys behaviour and his manger behaviour is not assepted from TravelKhana Now i can say travel khana had made me really cheating me on this stage. Does we have to pay for mistake of travelkhana? TRAVEL KHANA is a brand Name because of cll centre guys and cll centre management team one-day TravelKhana lose their marketplace. cheat with people.only fake commitment it is not a good thing to run the business.Also i post a complain on their web site but still now i not get any revert form travel khana site .today I placing a order with MFC hope the food should be good from mfc . With reference to my complaint no. 149162c, This is to bring to your kind notice that I hav ordered a delux thali from travelkhana.com on 30th nov 2014, after hearing a lot good about the company I thought that this dinner will make my day . It is really sad to say that my personal experience is extremely bad with travelkhana. Initially the train was running late so I was eagerly waiting for my food at alwar junction . The food I got was cold . Very tasteless and after having the cold food I felt pukish . After getting such a bad experience with you people, I want to tell you that you hav definitely spoiled your reputation and I would never like to order any food from travelkhana.com and will never recommend that to my friends, relatives or known ones as well . Kindly take this feedback as a suggestion and try and improve the quality of food and of course the delivery of service. Regards

I had ordered food on 14th November 2014 at 15:11hrs through www.TRAVELKHANA.com which was supposed to be delivered at 21:45hrs at balharshah railway station. I also got an SMS confirming that my order number was 142160 and will be delivered at 21:45hrs. I waited at B2/10 as requested by them to collect my order but there was no delivery. Hence, I made a call to the concerned authorities stating that the order had not been delivered. I was assured that I will receive my order as 6 more orders were to be delivered at the same station. To my utter amazement, my order was not delivered even at 22:05 hrs. I filed a complaint at the official website of travel khana within the next 30minutes but received no response to the same. I have details of the order, the screen shots of the message sent by travel khana confirming my order. Soon, I will be filing a complaint in the CONSUMER COURT against Travel khana.

We were group of 38 students and 3 faculty members on an industrial tour to Manali and Chandigarh for which we booked our train meals by travelkhana.com. The breakfast was supplied to us at Agra Junction on 27 feb. 2014. The meal was packed and payment was done on receiving it. However, when we opened the packets the food was completely rotten and foul smelling. We contacted the company for the same and made a complaint for which they agree to refund the amount by three working days. Upto now we have received no refunds.
