Difficulty in booking
It is become hopeless in bangalore to get uber autos or cab need to wait for at least 30 to 45 minutes and on friday to sunday even more hopeless .feel like taking action reach the higher athority and cancel their licenceand regarding auto fares even ordinary autos are charging more than uber.

Driver bad behavior
Dear Sir, My uncle went to Bangalore and he booked an uber car No. KA 53 D 6029 on 13th Sep, 2022 from Hilton hotel to Airport. The driver was not going through the road, he went lane by lane and he had a 10 conference calls still reach the destination. Again and again he is talking to personal phones and not to concentrate in driving, actually my uncle was senior person... what to do... kindly take immediate action for the same.

Extra amount paid
Initially I paid Rs 667.00 through BHIM but it shows transection not successful. Then I give him cash of Rs 667.00 but after some time the previous online shows transection successful.
So actually I paid two times for the same journey.

Penalty to the customer for auto driver's fault
I tried to book an uber auto yesterday AN to travel Agaram to Kasturinagar. The auto driver did not respond to my call and neither to my message.
it is funny Uber asking me to pay Rs 21/ as penalty. We are senior citizens waiting in the hot sun for the trip and the auto driver did not turn up nor respond.
Uber should collect the penalty from the auto driver and pay me for the inconvenience caused to me.

No refund of extra amount paid to the Uber driver shivkumar by mistake via paytm...

I had taken a Uber drive on 25th June 2021, driver's name shivkumar. Paid him via paytm .
On 28th June, I wrongly made payment to the same number which was not meant to him. As soon as I realized about it tried contacting him to reverse the same. Initially I couldn't get his number as there is no contact details of the driver on the past ride details o[censored]ber app.. finally after a long struggle...on trying to lodge a feedback on the app as lost An item ...my call was diverted to him..
He spoke to me and confirmed my earlier trip in his car... when I addressed my problem...he just refused to attend the call...and now unable to contact him as obvious has blocked me...he is rude and very unprofessional ...nor able to contact the Uber company...

I am using uber for a long time. Now, I am facing a problem that when I need it in an emergency and urgent then the driver will accept the ride, and later he will cancel it. And I have to pay the cancellation charge.
If the driver is canceling the ride then he has to pay the charge why Uber is charging me?
Also, I mentioned the pickup point via map and app, then why the driver is unable to reach the exact pickup location?
Do needful otherwise I have to manage an alternative for this.

Promo code not working

I have enabled promo code in uber app for 50% of[censored]pto Rs.75 for 5 trips. It worked only for 2 trips. Promo available 3 is also indicated in my account. The benefit of promo is not given to me for subsequent trips although I am entitled to it.

I wish to remain to anonymous but I want to post this compliant against this mannerless, who thinks he is too smart that he can do anything with the customer if they sit in his cab or if a customer comes alone, This should be a lesson for him & others so that no other customer faces the same issue

Fare are increased
Hello,
I used uber service in a daily basis before lockdown where i use to pay the fare of 45-47 rupees from my home yo office, post the lockdown the same has been increased to 80 rupees. The auto fares are not increased by the government and government has also assured that no prices have been changed then why is that the fares has been increased so drastically where as our salaries have not been increased rather we are in the edge of pay cuts. Are we the once from where uber want to recover its losses from? The whole india has gone though loss will every one recover their losess from common working class?

On 6th march, driver misbehaved with my wife and her colleague, cancelled the trip and left them on the way when they are getting late for their office. After putting so many complaints on uber support from last 15 days, i haven't received a single call from uber for this issue. Uber support and uber safety team is hopeless... After so many messges they are asking to lodge a complaint against the driver but they are not ready to call me. Very hopeless cab service with no professionalism.

uber drivers in bangalore are hopeless
Uber drivers in bangalore (Especially auto drivers) are totally hopeless. I commute regularly from byappanahalli metro station. Although there are many uber autos available right outside the station, no one accepts the request. They instead charge heavily when i try to manually get an auto. They are extremely corrupt and charge 120rs for what it usually takes 50rs for a distance of 2.5kms. I don't know why uber doesn't take this very seriously. They need to have a tracking system to check how frequently the drivers don't accept the requests.

cab driver behaviour
The driver first he booked our ride when we r sitting in the cab he is like no sir i cant come plz cancel the trip, and he left us on the way at mid night 1we want to pay our cancellation charges, y all this happens this is also a uber association mistake why dont u ppl give the drop location to the cab drivers, i[censored] ppl provide that drop they can know wheater i can take this or not plz take this and solve the problem, thank you

We (Me, my spouse and daughter) travelled from beml layout to mahaveer chalet, basavanapura main road. After reaching home my wife realised that she had left her phone in cab. Immediately we contacted the driver (Madhu) but he told that the phone is not there, which is very ridiculous to believe. It was not even 10 mins that he dropped us home and he said that just after he dropped us, he had dropped another customer and that customer might have taken the phone, which does not make any sense to us.
We are very sure it's he who has taken it and his behaviour was also rude. We contacted him 2-3 times but he kept on refusing the truth that he got my wife's phone in his cab.
We need immediate action on this, else we may have to lodge an fir.

We booked a cab through uber to reach airport on 8th jan 2019 at 10.30. Driver arrived but refused to board to us as we had luggage. I booked uber xl for the same reason (As we had 4 check-in luggages and 2 people). He also asked us to pay outside uber app. Uber app showed around 977 rupees and this guy requested 1500.
We didn't agree and he left. After that we tried 6 times to get uber xl and this guy kept accepting (Preventing other drivers to reach us). We lost crucial 1 hr 30 mins in the process.
At last we called a friend and reached airport very late. By the time gate was closed. Now to travel again, we had to book new tickets which will cost around 1, 70, 000.

I book the cab on 22nd Afternoon 12-30 pm. I request driver but he Ask me to come wher he park the Vechile. He said not possible then he said cancle I said you cancle he refused with wrong behaviour.

There was some important documents in that bag and i need that bag urgently.

uber driver completed trip and dropped me in between the way. he is unprofessional

I had booked uber pool cab on 25th november 2018 at 9.10 am from ramamurthy nagar to vijayanagar. Uber cab (Ka03-ae 4629) arrived at 9.12 and started the trip.
On the way driver completed the trip near manyata tech park and told me to getdown where as i dint reached the destination as well. He said complaint to uber they wont do anything to us.
First of all he is not from karnataka. These guys doens't know how to talk with customer.
Is this the professionalism? Why the hell these uber drivers are allowed to be in uber.

not able to book my cab
It's almost a month that i have raised a issue of not able to book the cab, due to technical error, team asked me to share the screen shot which i have share from them, i have taken so many follow up but no one is there to respond on that follow up. I don't what should i do. I think that uber provide you the best transportation facility but due to this issue i realize that n they are the worst one.

charged extra on uberpool.

On 29/09/2017 i traveled from bsk stage ii to jp nagar 9th phase in uberpool. Cab no: 5278 silver indica. The given quotation was 49 /-.
But the driver has stopped the trip in the middle, because he has to pick some one from jayanagar 9th block. So i got charged for 126 /-, because i dropped before the selected dest.
But i did not drop, the driver has stopped the trip and he dropped my at my actual destination itself and driver told that they refund the marginal amount 126 - 49 = 77 /-
When i raised a request to revert the amount i was told that as you dropped/stopped the trip ahead of the destination, we are charging ubergo charges.
This is not about money but how drivers or uber itself is looting their customers. I want to warn many other uber users about this fraud.

Today i used uber to travel from arekere to nagarabhavi circle (Bangalore). While booking it show ₹657 for 29km route (Via nice road with toll charges) and this is not necessary to go with this route so we took alternate route which is just 14 km and without toll. But still i have been asked to pay ₹657. Firstly no options to choose alternate route, secondly even i took shorter distance they charged same fare thirdly uber not sharing receipt with brakeup cost

This is the the new Uber Nice road scam, faced the same issue and the Uber support was least interested in resolving it.
Even i faced the same issue. The suggested route was for 90 Km whereas the driver took the route for 47 Km. But ignoring the actual distance, UBER charged Rs. 1500/- for the trip. The same uber charged me in the past for 47KM around Rs. 750/-. Upon raising complaint, the pathetic customer support team kept sending me stereotype response that the fare charged is within the estimate hence the issue is resolved according to them. Tactfully they haven't maintained any customer support over call. I stopped using their service from then & i strongly recommend even others to use their service since they do not follow any tariff system for billing the actual distance & time traveled. They are so smart that they will charge if the estimate is higher than actual but they will not excuse you if your estimate was lower than actual. In the second case, they charge you higher because they are at losing end,

wrong fare estimate and took the longest route

On 11 august 2017, i have booked uber go. Intially it showed the fare was around 350 and it changed to 1060 rs at end of trip. U can check pick up and drop locations, it was a distance of 11 kms. But the driver took the longest route so it took 2 hrs to go there. I would not have gone for uber go option if the fare was this high. If any one charges 100 rs for 1km. This almost called robbery. Uber is the worst service i ever had.
The driver's name was yogesh nayak. Initially, i don't know the route i asked the driver to take the shortest route because i don't have time. He took the longest route which no one could take. After i realized that it was about 11 km can reach in 40 min. He took 2 hrs on the bad route. I have added photo shots for my trip details and receipts.

wrong fare estimate

Yesterday i booked uber from my home to a certain location. The fare estimate was rs. 76/- when i booked and it changed to rs. 120/- when my trip ended.
The same when i returned from that location to my home back. Estimate was 80/- but trip fare was 140/-.
Why is this estimate different from the trip fare? I would not have gone for uber go option if the fare was this high, would have opted for uber pool instead that showed 29/-.

rude behaviour by driver

I landed at bangalore airport on 29 jul 17 and booked a uber taxi. I was offered a taxi no ka 53 c1668. Th taxi came to the pick up point near the cafe coffee day. I was happy to see a big vehicle (Renault duster) since i had more luggage.
However, when he opened the boot, it was filled with big woofer speakers. The driver refused to reposition or put any luggage in the front seat. He simply refused to budge inspite of insistence from the uber support person available there.
The driver appeared to in intoxicated. He told me to re-book a taxi since he can't accept my ride. I asked him how he could refuse? I said i will launch a complaint and took a photo.
He started abusing me and came to hit me. He started shouting loudly the 'odadh bidtiney' meaning i will hit him. I deleted the photo to avoid any confusion. Even the uber agents there couldn't convince him.
I was charged rs 52 for cancelling the booking by uber. I was upset at the kind of rude behaviour on landing at bangalore. Happy i dint travel with him. But uber needs to check the behaviour pattern of its driver.

Last evening we booked a Uber cab from Bangalore Trinity Metro(MG Road) to the Solitaire Hotel at around 10 PM.My senior colleague(Mr. SUman Kumar Ghosh) who is a diabetic patient was not well due to extensive work pressure throughout the day was sitting at front side.
After reaching destination, we all got down and that person paid the amount and left the cab.In between due to traffic other cars behind and beside were honking to our cab and so my colleague was bit in hurry.DUe to this hurryness he missed the dinner pack he was carrying what he realized after few minutes and by that time our cab left the place.We gave him a call requesting to return the food pack.The driver (Mr. Prakash) returned the same and we rewarded him little for his honesty and responsibility.But when he just left again my colleague realized he could not get his mobile also. At that moment I tried colleague's number, it rang and after few minutes it got switched off.As usual we called the driver again with lot of shame but could not understand hindi or english so he asked to call him someone who knows local language.We gave him a call with the help Hotel's manager that time and got confirmed he will return the same if he get that in the cab.We also confirmed him to reward for his help. accordingly without getting no response I gave a call at 23:30 and that time driver confirmed he could not find any mobile but my colleague is saying he is almost confident that he lost his mobile in the cab.
So at this stage seeking your help to re-investigate and help this person as he has urgent need of that mobile due to official and personal reason.

I have used uber taxi on[protected], 6:26am at Bangalore and charged 50 INR, then and there driver asked I m not able to drive my taxi due to health problems(sick) even he was vomiting, even I don't have money to go nearest hospital.. that time I paid 500 /-INR Instead of 50/- -INR from my Pocket, driver told me I will come on same location to return yr money. Then I said ok..
My concern as a reputed Uber cab services, why sick driver driving Uber cab..and saying give me money I will give u return back, , , I want money back tell driver to call back regarding this..as soon as possible..

My concern as a reputed Uber cab services, why sick driver driving Uber cab..and saying give me money I will give u return back, , , I want money back tell driver to call back regarding this..as soon as possible..

Poor Customer Service and Lack of action after multiple complaints

On 18th aug '16, 5:30 pm, I booked a direct Uber cab in Bangalore from Whitefields, EPIP area to Vikram Hospital, Cunningham. On the way, when our vehicle was near the KR Puram Hanging Flyover underpass, a truck passed by our car and the mirror of the car broke. The driver stopped his vehicle on the middle of the busy road, quarreled with the truck driver for 10 min. I waited. After that he stopped the vehicle near a shop there, and stopped the trip and asked me to book another cab. It was already 6 pm by that time and no cabs are available at that time on that busy road. The driver also halted at a place where no conveyance is available. I asked him to call Uber Bangalore customer care and asked them to book another cab for me. The driver bluntly replied they don't have customer care contact. I asked him then what is the whole point of having a customer care if they cannot do anything about adhoc situations like this. When I shouted at him for the same and forced him to do something, he finally called customer care and the customer care people asked him to cancel the trip as I can't hold him for payment as it was paytm payment. And left me on the busy road helpless. Please note that I was going to the hospital as my father was hospitalized and this was an emergency situation where your driver and your customer care behaved like this. Even if it was not an emergency situation your drivers and custcare should behave responsibly for who they call as customers.
This is not the first time such incident happened. Prior to this also, I had booked an Uber and the car broke down. I myself spoke to the customer care and they did not do anything about it. That time also, I urged them that this is a loophole in their service and they should do something about it. But, everytime, they don't pay any heed to my words and just reimburse the money when I complain. What happens when your customers are stuck in a busy highway for hours without any conveyance and what is the point of such public transport facilities that these people run when they cannot take responsibility to have people reach their destination.
Problem is, in situations like this, money is not the concern. They should have some basic civic sense to think that if a girl is dropped mid way on a highway road without any conveyance, It is their basic responsibility to do something about it. They cant just revert back the money and say the problem is solved.
I did multiple follow ups and gave them multiple feedbacks but they just ignored everything and wasted my time and energy.
There has also been an instance wherein me and my friend booked a cab together for office as were going the same direction, only thing my office is about 2 kms ahead of my friend's on the same road. As my friend got down, the driver refused to take me any further and asked me to get down there even when the location that was put was that of my office. He started arguing to call the custcare. Again drivers themselves do not have the appropriate knowledge or the custcare details that they should. Customers do not have all the time in the world to sit and argue about these things on a daily basis. If it rains, which is almost a daily feature in Blore, we should forget about getting a cab. This is when we need it the most and public transports are not available. I am not sure if they have the right to call themselves public transport if they cannot be available for the public at all times or times of need at the least.
There are multiple such cases that happened which is why am forced to write this on this forum since no action has been taken by the company to improve their services. I would also like to mention that I am facing problems with Uber only in Bangalore. Earlier in Hyderabad, I booked several times and never had any issues. So, there are issues with the customer care in Bangalore. I have stopped booking Uber in Bangalore since then and as they are ignoring all my complains, I am raising my complain here in consumer forum. This city is a hub of professionals like us and such incidents just make it certain that no one really cares. It is just a money minting business and they think just crediting back the money solves the problem. What about time, what about the effort that we need to put to get something which should be readily available to us and which is why these companies are in existence in the first place.
