I am susil from hyderabad.
I brought this bike on dec-2017, & drove 2100 only.
I am also having same common problems as others, like starting issues, over heating of engine, chain sounds, ignition off during gear shifting, rear break not working, etc &etc.
I missed last two service due to um has stopped his service almost all over india. How it could be...? Small to small spares like usb port cover is also not available.
So friends, if we only cry, nothing will happen.
Lets retaliate, start a campaign against the company, so that we can get some result out of this.
My opinion is - we will meet in a group of whats app (May call "um justice") & discuss our plan of action in all over india. We will add media & put case on the company & dealers in laying the same.
Are you all ready?

UM patna Service centre can't provided service under warrenty period .he always delay for service and can't pickup my call .he alway inculde extra money during service.

I purchased um classic 2018 from coimbatore dealer after promised to continue the service from madurai dealer. I did only 1st service only, since may 2019 no response from either any dealers. Even i tried to contact chennai & salem dealers but no positive response. Since then no service was carried out as my bike has lots of issues i. E. Self start, due to that i cannot even try a service to a local mechanic.
Im totally disappointed and wasted my hard earned money by spending 2.5l almost for a useless bike and untrue company.

I have purchased renegade commando having registration no. Tn07 cl 9966 united motors chennai on 10/12/2017. After 2 to 3 months the bike has developed starting problem. After first servicing the problem was resolved upto 50 %. But the bike has developed some more problems such as
1) knocking from engine
2) head light problem
3) when clutch is engaged the bike comes to hault.
4) coolant breakage, radiator fan problem
5) noise from rear side of bike.
I have serviced the bike many times. But savali motors has failed to repair all above problems. I had discussion with manager they won't support me

The company is shut down and service guys are charging way more than the market price and not fixing all problems.
They are either saying the part is being imported from china that's why it's costly and there is no reference for actual price. Everytime they are fixing part of it.. If the company is shut down how will we get support and the service guys also not giving the parts which are in warranty... They are saying that company is not providing them any money.

I have purchased renegade commando having registration no. Mh 42 au 8500 from savali motors, pune on 10/1/2018. After 2 to 3 months the bike has developed starting problem. After first servicing the problem was resolved upto 50 %. But the bike has developed some more problems such as
1) knocking from engine
2) head light problem
3) when clutch is engaged the bike comes to hault.
4) fuel meter problem.
5) noise from rear side of bike.

Manoj verma (Um motors, cell no.[protected], mr. Rajesh shukla (Um motors delhi cell no.[protected], mr. Vikas (Um motors, pune cell no.[protected] mr. Shreyas sable (Savali motors cell no.[protected]. Mr. Mahesh pathak has assured me that fuel pump and csu unit of the said bike would be replaced after diwali (2018) and also ha has promised me the visit of senior technician/engineer from delhi. So again i have left the my bike at savali motors on 16/11/2018 for nearly one month. But not a single problem was resolved. I am doubtful that savali mototrs had not charged the fuel pump and csu unit of the bike. And eventually the problem has not been resolved. Again i have left the bike at savali motors, pune on 17/5/2019 and collected the vehicle on 19/8/2019. And was shocked. The bike was not serviced at all and battery was completely discharged. The savali motors has asked me to pay rs.3500/- towards the cost of battery replacement. And i was forced to pay the said amount. On the second day i. E.20/8/2019, i have visited another dealership at balewadi, pune ; deccan um. I had discussion with mr. Akib pathan, cell no.[protected]. He told me that there is problem in bike and will order for fuel pump and csu unit. Till then don't keep the bike at our show room. After receiving the spares will call you. But till today there is no phone call or any sort my communication. Right this moment i have called to mr. Akib pathan ; he told me that deccan um has been closed down on 5/9/2019 and also savali motors. I[censored]m motors is unable to resolve the problems of my bike then they should refund the entire amount which i have paid to savali motors, pune

I purchased renagade comondo o[censored]nited motors 1.5 years back for 211000 rs since then the for most of the times i just search for mechanics to repair the bike. Bikes run only 7599 km. Service station closed in lucknow now and tell us go to kanpur for servicing.
My bike is overheating cannot go even 2 km how i approch to kanpur when they promise to give service in lucknow.
The company is just manipulating consumers! We want our money back

Fraud um company
I purchased my um renegade sports bike in 2019
And i visit in the service stations they are saying that there is no free services are there because um company has been closed
And there is no parts available in sevice centers
Fraudd um company they arfraudod to the new people who purchasing new bike on the time of purchasing they are saying that this is very good bike service centres are good an we resale your bike if you dont like it

While i buying the vehicle there is goid services. But now the company not providing service. I will go against you in consumer court. Because i have upto 4 year extended warranty for my bike starting from 2018. But at current i didn't getting proper service for my vehicle.

pathetic bike and worse service center

I bought the bike 2 years ago and already have to use road side assistance 4 times during this time as bike would not start due to some or the other reasons. Last week the bike got wet in the rain and it would not start. I got my bike to service center (Thanks to rsa) and i was told that i would get my bike in a couple of days but when i got there 3 days later i was told that they could not charge the battery as their battery charger is not working. Seriously, this lame excuse. Now they are telling me that i have to come some other day to pick my bike. I am a professional and cannot take leaves just like that. On top of that the servicemen do not pick their phone when you call them. This behaviour is highly unacceptable.
Is there any use of putting these complaints here. Is somebody looking into this?

All the UM showrooms in Bangalore have shut shop. Now where do I go for bike servicing. Unable to reach customer care and have not got any response from then when contacted on FB and Twitter

worst after sale service

Myself naresh m shah i have renegade green commando its been a whole week i have given my bike for service in surat city showroom but they are not giving proper reply and giving worst reasons that electricity is not there and harassing the customers.
I'm travelling everyday by cab as they are not giving bike and giving rude replies. They are not also providing good customer services just saying that if you want to do then keep your bike here else take it away such worst replies and owner never gives the answer or never receives the call as he knows that it's going to be worst if he picks up the call. Even the service man is not good doesn't listens to the problem carefully and just does what he wants to do.

part replacement - ecu / chain guard

Hello, i'm vignesh dayalan. I have a renegade commando black - in which i have engine cut off issue. The service people said that it is because of the ecu, which the head office is doing a software remapping in ecu and will be sending it to replace in bikes. The madras um branch head - gopinath, told me this on february 2019. It is june 2019 now, still they are saying the part has been sent to remapping and not yet dispatched. Pathetic. Everyweek i used to call them and ask the status, they will say the same reason "remapped ecu has not yet arrived." i called mallikarjun - bangalore um on may 2019, he also said that he will talk to the headoffice regarding the dispatch. Even today after multiple calls, finally madras um took my phone call and updated the same status. Order is not yet delivered.
Um motors, please send a remapped ecu and a chain guard for my renegade commando black asap.
Due to this engine cutoff issue, i had to change oneway clutch in my bike which costed rs1000.

Santosh here, And what I could guess about your situation, that Company is going to shut in India. Your problem is genuine and why they are getting delayed is the reason which I am guessing above. I am in Lucknow and UM Lucknow is closed here and nobody is responding to us as well. We have complained too much directly to the company and in fact to UM Global, but unfortunately, no response we have received. Just check the website UML India is now defunct. I have also complained to consumer forum this month regarding this. Just be aware of the further action o[censored]M in India.

I bought commando on March 2017 along with paid extended warranty. I am facing servicing issue as there is no service center with expert mechanics. Also there is unavailability of bike spare parts. My servicing date is due but none of the service centers are ready to take bike as they are closing down the service station.
Need immediate attention as the bikes are expensive and commitment is not served as stated during purchase of the vehicle.

I have to complaint that Color on petrol tank is damaged only in 7 month's, in this regard also made complaint for two to three time to the Branch manager from which I have bought the bike. Diamond UM in Surat Gujarat is the Dealer from which I
have bought the bike.
Branch manager had said that I have to pay the charges for remove the damage. I am not willing to pay any charges because as per my knowledge not any bike in Premium Segment have this type of stupid issues only in 7 to 8 month after sale of the
product.
I have request you to take my action as serious matter and take an appropriate action as soon as possible.
Here I also attach photos of my bike with damage and service booklet and my ownership booklet.

A few month before, i went to um renegade showroom in my place. (Kerala, calicut). From there, i booked a renegade commando
Sport s 300 (Young orange) model bike for rs 5000/-, for some personal reasons, i can not buy that bike right now. So i contacted him with the franchise dealer,
But now it's been for a month and half, so far they have not done any kind of action that can give me back the money by canceling that booking. When i callex them, they say you've booked old showroom franchise now we are the new franchise and we don't know more details about the old franchise. So i dont understand where i booked that bike and my money. If so, how we go and book a bike on our franchise. So you have to pay rs.5000/- which i paid for the booking date. I request for immediate action is required

I have purchased renegade commando classic 300cc in 2017 oct, bs iv, i am facing this coolant boiling issue since 4months. This company is not at all providing spares to the service dealers. My vehicle is under warranty but even though i am not getting the spares. After buying this bike life has been dedicated to service center no office and home.

pathetic after sales service

I had purchased renegade commando classic 300 cc and at the time of purchase the sales people were all over me to elucidate the superiority of this bike over all the others present in the market. Had also promised to assist in a seamless after sales service experience. However, now they don't even respond properly to calls and come up with excuses like they don't have technicians etc. I am a super dissapointed and dissatisfied customer from allahabad. I bought this bike from vrindavan motors, allahabad and experience so far has been horrible. The bike breaks down every month and snag gets rectified only after you bug them at least 100 times over phone. People better to ride a bicyle but never to purchase this piece of junk.

This is a dissatisfied customer
who has bought "Renegade commando carburetor BS4" in the month of November 11, 2018.
1. I have purchased the bike in "square auto / Silicon City UM" sudhama Nagar, Lal Bagh road branch.
One the day of booking the dealer proposed me for a modification which was good and duly agreed by my side and paid all the charges along with the cost of my bike in CASH .
2. On the day of delivery we noticed that the condition of vehicle painting was not good at some of the panels and some of the trims (headlamp cover, Radiator should)were loosely fitted. When checked the executive replied that they would replace the parts .my question is how did the bike come out to deliver with such issues and dealers tells me that we will replace the parts after we notice. This was the first set back.
3.The very next day after driving 10 kms we noticed that there was some unusual noise we came back and informed the dealer about the same the rear Tyre was not aligned properly which was offset and the chain gaurd made a noise the bike was handed over the next day. My question is same as first - disappointment 2
4. After that 02 days bike was left idle as I have been out of station on the third day when we tried to start, battery drained, after several attempt we managed to start the bike and bought back to dealer the dealer informed battery defective and replaced under warranty. 5. if I remember my bike was do delivered after 02 - 03 days after battery replacement, After driving for 30 km post this the rear drum back issue was there and again the process follows get to workshop wait and, 02 days later the same was replaced in consent with Mr. Malikarjun & David Boon and delivered.
6. The bike was given back to me after 10 days and Again after driving for 30 km bike dint start and now from 45 days the bike is in UM Service center sudhama Nagar, Lal Bagh branch.
7. Initially Your service team informed us that there is stater motor issue and later a info was passed that some engineers would report for detailed analysis are coming form Delhi and rectify the issue. Till date they have not been able to solve the issue / deliver the bike. Mr. Malikarjun & Mr. David boon are saying the parts has to be replaced / some parts are still yet to receive form UM company to the dealer.
8. My issue are very clear that The Vehicle is not starting and getting over heated and gear tap doesn't work.

10. I have invested 2.6 lac not for you people to do R&D and waste my time and money following up for solving the problem and get the bike. the bike has been driven hardly 1000 KM out of which 70% of the KM is covered just to visit your service center

11. Your service team is saying they have to replace the parts of "a. problem in starter kit, b. problem with clutch, c. problem in gear, d. problem with battery, e. problem with gear"
12. I have booked new bike and with in 15 KM all the problems started. I did this bike booking for my riding passion not for your company R&D,
Our demands are very clear Either Replace the complete engine assembly with a new one as I am not interested to drive a bike for which the major repairs are carried out. I don't want a bike which has so many problems are part being replaced.
Or I have paid and ordered for new bike replacement of complete to new bike"
i[censored]M is not able to do such Reimburse my complete payment made i have paid for booking the bike and retain your esteemed product for your so called product research and development.
13. Every time i have been wrong committed that the vehicle will be ready and in good conduction you team has failed to deliver the satisfaction. the time lines are not met as per commitment by both dealer and your company counterpart Mallikarjun
14. I would need a detailed mail over the resolution to be given on the case .and until my requirements are met I am not going to take delivery of the bike
Again I am clearly qouteing that I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THE DELIVERY OF MY BIKE WITH REPAIRED PARTS . I REQUIRE A REPLACEMENT OF BIKE OR ENGINE ASSEMBLY.

I have ever had this kind of worst experience in life time with any other brand as own other brand bikes / vehicle. I have purchased the bike for my driving passion and out of 5 months the bike is in your service center for almost more than 4 months. Put yourselves in my position and analyze if you can accept such kind of faulty machine. who will be responsible if something happens on the road while driving such faulty bike ? are you people gone answer all this.

1. I have purchased the bike in "square auto / Silicon City UM" sudhama Nagar, Lal Bagh road branch.
One the day of booking the dealer proposed me for a modification which was good and duly agreed by my side and paid all the charges along with the cost of my bike in CASH .
2. On the day of delivery we noticed that the condition of vehicle painting was not good at some of the panels and some of the trims (headlamp cover, Radiator should)were loosely fitted. When checked the executive replied that they would replace the parts .my question is how did the bike come out to deliver with such issues and dealers tells me that we will replace the parts after we notice. This was the first set back.
3.The very next day after driving 10 kms we noticed that there was some unusual noise we came back and informed the dealer about the same the rear Tyre was not aligned properly which was offset and the chain gaurd made a noise the bike was handed over the next day. My question is same as first - disappointment 2
4. After that 02 days bike was left idle as I have been out of station on the third day when we tried to start, battery drained, after several attempt we managed to start the bike and bought back to dealer the dealer informed battery defective and replaced under warranty. 5. if I remember my bike was do delivered after 02 - 03 days after battery replacement, After driving for 30 km post this the rear drum back issue was there and again the process follows get to workshop wait and, 02 days later the same was replaced in consent with Mr. Malikarjun & David Boon and delivered.
6. The bike was given back to me after 10 days and Again after driving for 30 km bike dint start and now from 45 days the bike is in UM Service center sudhama Nagar, Lal Bagh branch.
7. Initially Your service team informed us that there is stater motor issue and later a info was passed that some engineers would report for detailed analysis are coming form Delhi and rectify the issue. Till date they have not been able to solve the issue / deliver the bike. Mr. Malikarjun & Mr. David boon are saying the parts has to be replaced / some parts are still yet to receive form UM company to the dealer.
8. My issue are very clear that The Vehicle is not starting and getting over heated and gear tap doesn't work.

10. I have invested 2.6 lac not for you people to do R&D and waste my time and money following up for solving the problem and get the bike. the bike has been driven hardly 1000 KM out of which 70% of the KM is covered just to visit your service center

11. Your service team is saying they have to replace the parts of "a. problem in starter kit, b. problem with clutch, c. problem in gear, d. problem with battery, e. problem with gear"
12. I have booked new bike and with in 15 KM all the problems started. I did this bike booking for my riding passion not for your company R&D,
Our demands are very clear Either Replace the complete engine assembly with a new one as I am not interested to drive a bike for which the major repairs are carried out. I don't want a bike which has so many problems are part being replaced.
Or I have paid and ordered for new bike replacement of complete to new bike"

13. Every time i have been wrong committed that the vehicle will be ready and in good conduction you team has failed to deliver the satisfaction. the time lines are not met as per commitment by both dealer and your company counterpart Mallikarjun
14. I would need a detailed mail over the resolution to be given on the case .and until my requirements are met I am not going to take delivery of the bike
Again I am clearly qouteing that I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE THE DELIVERY OF MY BIKE WITH REPAIRED PARTS . I REQUIRE A REPLACEMENT OF BIKE OR ENGINE ASSEMBLY.

I have ever had this kind of worst experience in life time with any other brand as own other brand bikes / vehicle. I have purchased the bike for my driving passion and out of 5 months the bike is in your service center for almost more than 4 months. Put yourselves in my position and analyze if you can accept such kind of faulty machine. who will be responsible if something happens on the road while driving such faulty bike ? are you people gone answer all this.

I bought this bike early 2018 at nandanam branch, chennai. With in 7 months i faced a problem in my engine, that started leaking oil. After servicing the problem occurred again and again which makes me to raise complaint 5 times with in another 6 months. I have all the email conversations with me. Each time i raise a complaint i need to struggle with them to make it done asap.
They are not at all responsible to fulfill the customer need. They are keen to by pass this issue by talking rather than resolving it.
The way they treat you totally reversed once you bought the bike. There are no professionals to service your bike.

I bought renegade commando burgundy shine from chennai ambattur showroom on 11 apr 2018..in the beginning it started with over heat and white smoke problem i gave it to service in a week since i bought that to sort this and they have done (Good) thats the only issue they have sorted for me and then every month i would be giving my bike for service like clutch issues, gear harder, rear front suspension, noise from rear, not starting when its in gear. After i fed up with these complaints explaining with the service station 8, 9 times @ nandanam service centre then i thought to raise a complaint via email to head office at delhi, a gentleman from their came and replied me back you give your bike for service we will sort out this time and i went there on 9th march and spoke with the engineer mr. Karthick explained each and every problems like suspension, petrl gauge not workin, bike wobbling, clutch harder, after i said all these they came up with a bill of 4000rs in that 2000rs is only for general service and 1300rs is for wheel truing (For wobbling) i agreed all that and they have called me to get my bike back and i rode with the engineer was not bad at that time then they asked me to sign the satisfactory paper for the service they have done, i said i want to check before sign coz i didn't had a chance to check it properly as it was heavy traffic but they kept on asking me to sign and they said you sign now and if you have any problem again will sort it, i dint had any option except signing that and i did then paid 4000rs. The very next day i went for a ride in highways then i realized they didn't even fix anything even the petrol gauge issue, now the gear is harder than before hearing noise from front suspension also not comfy, rear suspension noise is still there... Then why i have paid the 4000??? For doing nothing... My bike is still in warranty period though they have charged this much, if they dont know how to fix the problems why cant they go and get trained?? After all of these the customer support is worst. Please resolve asap thank you

Har kahi band ho jati he mene ause jaipur bhi dikhaya or aus bike ko indore bhi bheja but dono ne hi paise loote gadi sahi ni hui or ab dono companies wale phone ni autha te. Is company ko desh se nikal dena chahiye ye fraud company he or is company ki gadiya dikhne me kitni hi achhi hogi but sabse ghatiya gadi puri duniya me isi ki hogi.

Hello sir... I have purchased my bike in october 2017 and from the first day i have faced many problems like the bike always stop frequently and don't start i have complained many times to the showroom and every time they said that the issue has been resolved but it's not resolved... I have also given my bike to showroom for 1 and half months but still the issue is not resolved and also complaint to your delhi head office but from there also nothing has been done... My bike registration no is... Up78 ey 6219... While riding it stops and dont start if the issue is still not resolved i will file fir in consumer court... Please do the needful as fast as u can... My bike renegade commando 300cc green
Regularly i am facing an issue in week battery from the first day of my purchase. Hardly i have sent my bike under towing 3 to 4 times regarding same issue. Still the problem exist till now. I don't know what the hell the service they are providing for customers. Already i have recommended them to check any electrical issue. I really regret to use this bike with this worst condition. I feel agitation to take a long travel. Worst customer service. If it is not solved permanently i will take a legal action. I think so the only idea for you is to postpone the warranty period that's why you are not providing permanent solution.

Sorry, for this kind off behave from me, but the think is why someone behave like this, i am tired bcoz off your service and after that renegade 300cc, i am advising you guys never buy anything from this cop., i am really unsatisfide for the service,
The problam is my bike had so many issues but the most one is i am going to share with you is a when i changed ger 2nd, 3rd, 4th that time bike is automatic dead, i had this issue from first day to till, i had never touch my bike from local technician, all the services are by comp. Authorise center, but they do not have solution, and also i had compalains in comp. Costumer care number but it is meaningless they did not give it to me any respones.
Let"s talk about today, i sent my bike last 4day ago to till my bike is still there, one of the vadodra (Baroda), gujrat, service center, i just called them for the satus, you know what they said, they said your bike had same problam we will try today it will be done but if it is not, then we can not to do anything.

battery replacement

I purchased my um renegade in 2018 january and now i have the issue with the battery and i still have a warranty when i called to service center they are no batteries with them can you please resolve my issue as quickly as possible. Make the battery done and please make the battery be replaced and provide me a temporary battery if possible. I have not used my bike for 10 days and the battery was dead and please replace the battery as quickly as possible.

I hv purchased renegade commando mojave from delhi connaught place showroom, sharing the problems faced in just 25 days (Invoice attached below)
1. Since 1st day of delivery missing problem happened, secondly meter glass had a scratch for which i had to revisited showroom next day for repairing
2. After few days clutch got jammed for which i visited the service centre apprx 25 kms from my house to get them changed
3. Now again clutch is not working properly, injector light blinking creating starting problem
So in just 25 days i am extremely dissapointed with the performance of bike and as it is in showroom's custody for repairing i hv decided not to accept it back as it contains too many manufacturing defects.
Hv spoken to almost entire staff including managers but all seems to be helpless... Writing this last mail and hoping for quick response.

If any problem in my bike the service centers is not available on any time ill ask previous staffs they said the um showroom is changed to another hand so i dont know... This is the way the company service the customers. Give any information about how to solve the bike's problems. Dont skip the like this. Now i need service for my bike do this quickly.

I have renegade sports 300 and today i went to tntmotors for its servicing they are not using the engine oil and coolant recommended by the company they are using gulf 15w50 which is of around 300rs in market nd selling it at 565 rs nd low grade coolant at higher price charge of their service is 590 in which they dont even wash the bike..

I have purchase the um renegade commando mojave in 13 september 2018 and my invoice no is Vs[protected] i have puchased from um cannought place in delhi.From the first day i am getting starting problem and missing problem and after 6 days i see that rust is coming on my back fender i have visited the showroom but they said that to go to the service center and tell them about rusting and also saying that parts are not ready and take time. I have asked them how much time they told me that they also dont know how much time. 10 days later i have got issue in brakes when i am applying front disk brake their is a loud noice. Pls resolve my problem as soon as possible and last thing i want to say that its my biggest mistake to buy the um bike
