With reference to the above subject, I would like to bring to your notice that small and narrow pipes in-front of our house is causing drainage water seepage into our well. Kindly request you to consider installing bigger narrow pipes as these old pipes do not have the required capacity to carry sewage from the other houses.

We are facing lot of problems due to this infront of our house. I think due to these old pipes the main line drainage is getting blocked, due to which the water is reversing back into home lines.

The open-well with rain-harvested pipes is smelling a lot so please arrange for and help us.This drainage water that is seeping into our well is causing a lot of health issues.

    BTM_SFHS/Welfare/MF-8/32 16 June 2010

Subject: Issue of NOC for felling of two trees at MF 8/1, BTM SFHS Flats-dangerous to life and property (PERTAINS TO WARD NO 65)
    Sir,
    1. Please refer my earlier letter dated 16 Jun 2009 on the subject. I am humbly approaching you on behalf of the residents of MF 8 block.
    2. Two trees had been planted by BBMP in front of my flat, MF 8/1. One tree has been eaten away by white ants and has become hollow and dry. This tree is dangerously perched and liable to fall down anytime, causing collateral damage to electric lines, communication lines, property and life. The second tree is causing damage to the very foundation of the MF 8 building housing six flats. The roots of this tree have entered into the foundation of the building.(Photos taken have also been attached herewith for your kind perusal)
    3. Despite repeated reminders on telephone for issue of NOC from forest department, no action is forthcoming from your end. As a retired officer and a senior citizen, I fail to comprehend the inertia on your part and total callousness to the problem.
    4. Pertinent to mention that, a few months back, a branch dislodged itself from the dried tree and fell on the electric wires, disrupting electricity and traffic for more than two days.
    5. I have already approached your office by way of letter and several telephone calls, but to no avail. I have, however, kept a record of my reminders to your office.
    6. In the event of any catastrophic damage in future, the onus and responsibility of the same entirely lies with your department. I will not, at that point of time, hesitate to convey to the concerned authorities, about my repeated reminders/transmissions to you and your office to initiate necessary action for felling the dangerously standing trees, and that your response left much to be desired.
    7. I again humbly request you to issue NOC and requisite orders to the Horticultural Superintendent(South) for immediate action in this regard. I hope it will not be asking too much of you to keep me and the residents of MF 8 block updated on the action you propose to take and when.

    Yours sincerely,

There are 4-5(or more) stray dogs who feed on the garbage thrown on Ratna Vilas Road(in front of south thindis)... These dogs dirty the entire road, bark through the night. We the residents in this area find it very difficult to use this road and live peacefully in this area. Could the BBMP please take some action on this? Off late this has become a nightmare.

Also there is no proper garbage collection bins, due to which all the residents here, throw their garbage on the main road, which further dirties & aggravates the problem of dog menace..

      Thanks

This is Subhash Y T resident of ward number 09 (vidyaranyapura).. I would like to bring to your notice the menace caused by stray dogs in our area, , details below

Stray dog menace has become a serious cause of concern towards not only the young kids but also adults especially those commuting on two wheelers. A simple example to quote for is WARD NO: 09 NEAR DURGAPARMESHWARI TEMPLE, 6TH AND 7TH BLOCK VIDYARANYAPURA BANGTALORE 560 097 where the dog menace is at its peak between 7 and 10 pm.
This has created a nuesence and all the residents hesitate to shop even during those hours. If BBMP could take a SOS call in moving all these stray dogs, it would save if not 10 atleast 1 child or adult being victim to RABIES.

      Kindly do the needful.

            Hello,

This is regarding the BBMP not giving tax receipts on the same day that people pay their property taxes. BBMP officials very casually ask people to come another day or the next day to collect the receipt for their taxes causing a lot of inconvenience to the public. Receipts should be given to people on the same day they pay their tax. If it is not possible to give the receipt on the same day for whatever reason the least the officials can do is send the receipt by post or email. Hoping corrective action will be taken regarding this.

            Thanks and Regards,

I am staying in one of the apartment in MLA Layout, Kalena Agrahara, Off Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore 560076. Here road condition is so pathetic and poor, there are no permanent roads, during rain, water gets logged many vehicles get struck up and could not move. Several incident of accidents has been occurred. We have made several complaints to authorities from last two years, but no action has been taken. There are more than 600 families stays here without any basic facilities like Roads, Street lights, Cauvery Water etc. I have attached few pictures for the reference.

              Pathetic Roads

              To
              The BBMP Commissioner,
              Bangalore.

              Respected Sir,
The road from Johnson Market to Life Style was pathetic from past 1 1/2 years. Last, the thar was put on this road in march last year due to elections, but was damaged in a span of two months by digging it up. After wards there is no repair done to this road, as this is the road which will lead to St Philomenas hospital, Life Style, Hosmat for vehicles coming through hosur road. During rains it is very horrible. The pot holes were around 1 feet deep.
After a long wait, recently, just 1 week back, the tar was laid on the road. But today again I see people digging the road.
If it has to be digged, then at first place why the tar was laid. The tar could have been laid once all the work is completed.
I think this is huge waste of tas-payers money.
I kindly request you to look into these maters, as the governement would invest huge amount in reparing roads, but at the same time, the roads are being damaged by some government departments for carrying out other work.
This problem is not only with this perticular road stretch, It is all over bangalore.

              Regards
              Vinaya
              Dear Sir,

My name is Mr. Vishwanath, from past 1 1/2 years I am staying in Magadi Raod Gollarahatti. The roads from Gollarahatti to sunkadakatte are horrible to travel even in day time. Due to lots of heavy loaded vehicles travelling in that, the roads become more dangers. Due to that lot of dust is raising by which the two wheelers can’t see the road properly. If there is any major accident happens in those roads, every next day they will put one patch for that big hole. This patch will not be there if you come and see after one week. Due to this negligence, each and every day one or the other accident is happening.

By viewing this mail I request you to kindly improve the road from Gollarahatti to Sunkadakatte

              Thanks and regards

              Pathetic condition of Road

I stay in 3rd Main,HoysalaNagar near Ramamurthy Nagar, Bangalore. The place has come up with lots of swanky new apartments.
However, the stretch of road starting from the TC Palya main road is in shambles. There is hardly any presence of pitch or tar. All that can be seen is mud with huge stones glaring from the road. It is a pain to drive through this stretch of the road and the cars are getting damaged as a result of it.

I have been hearing that its been 2 months that the sanction has come through for the road to be built? Can the BBMP officials let us know what is causing them such a delay to complete the work on this 600 metres stretch?
              Sir,
I am a trainee journalist in Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media.
As a part of our course we take up issues concerning the Bangaloreans and do reporting on the issues. And I would like to take up the issue mentioned by you in your complaint.

It would be kind on your part if you can mail me some details regarding this problem. Is the road condition same even now? And what are the problems you are facing regarding the cauvery water.
May be I can be of some help in at least bringing the issue to the notice of the concerned officials as i am going to interview them as a part of my reporting.

                Sir/Madam,

                This complain is for BBMP.

I stay in Kadubisnahalli (Near marthahalli). The broken road connects kadubisnahalli directly to the main road. The condition of this road is so bad that in normal days dust will be in the air and when it rains the road turns into mud pits. The broken road is as good as having no road. Its really a disappointment to see such a road in Bangalore city when villages also have better roads.
I have raised a complaint once but nothing happened.
                Please take some action.

Can someone let us know how far the Karnataka State Government is responsible for making sure that apartments registered with them are protected against demolition due to widening of roads for city's progress?
Our apartment is in Bangalore, recently purchased and even though lawyers were consulted there was a deviation of approximately 70% which was agreed upon. The apartment was registered and now we have received noticed from BBMP that they have road widening plans and as a result they are planning to break a section of the building. However our concern is, if there was a problem with deviation and the plans to execute widening of roads was there with the government, how could they accept registration? This is cheating. The common man should have been made aware of the same.
Awaiting your answer with utter hope.
                    Regards,

In what world are you in? The gundas can construct any housing 100% that is not agreed upon. All you have to do is become friends with gangsters so they can protect you from the corrupt government.
To give you an instance we bought a villa in bangalore from concorde - all papers were fine everything okay. But then we met a friend of ours who when we mentioned the name said "concorde" - Oh they took all our land and even threw stones at my house. I got scared and gave them away my land for very less rate. That is how they aquired so much land in bangalore. if only we had known we would not have bought property from these concorde crooks. I only wish their descendents - son or daugher dies in a car accident and they rot in hell. or get cheated by another gunda Thats all I can do. I stopped praying to God.

                        Hi,

I am a resident of 12th Main, Vivekananada Nagar, Katriguppa Main road, Bangalore - 85.

This is regarding the pedestrian pavement cleanup work, which they started sometime during 1st week of April 2010. They started removing all the stones and replacing them with new ones. They also have replaced stones some ducts under the pavements, which were clean and tidy.

They have dumped the sand, pebble stones and the large pavement stones so carelessly that vehicles cannot move around in the road, children cannot play (Please note it is summer holidays for them) and already a child in my house has had his leg fractured.

Despite of continuous follow-ups, the corporation contractor Shivraj (Mobile # [protected]) let alone finishing the work, he is not even to ready to organize the debris his worker team has dumped on the road. He is very rude, highly arrogant and completely irresponsible person. He also has said that why should we listen to you, when the Junior Engineer C S Nagaraj himself has asked us not to continue the work in your street.

Further to this, we have also been told that the great Junior Engineer C S Nagaraj (Mobile # [protected]) is expecting the residents of this street to go and bribe him to get this work completed.

It is very painful to note that we should bribe a supposed to be responsible government official (who is highly irresponsible and corrupt) to complete some work, which the residents of the area did not ask to be done. These government officials started it to support the election campaigning.

We will be sincerely grateful, if the concerned authorities can take some action against these completely corrupt individuals.

                        Regards
                        Anil

                          Dear Sir,

I am resident of BTM layout 2nd stage. I use to jog in a park present in 3rd main, 5th cross, MICO layout, BTM layout 2nd stage. I have been going to this park for last 1.5 years. Some elderly persons, claiming to be the committee member of MICO layout residents association are not allowing us to jog in the park for last 2 weeks.

The reason for not allowing jogging is not proper and not valid. Moreover in the prohibited list put up by BBMP commissioner (Board which is present in the park) does not tell jogging in the park is prohibited. Moreover people have put up boards (that are not authorized by BBMP) mentioning Running is not allowed and they claim that they have got appropriate permissions from Commissioner, BBMP. Committee members are causing nuisance to morning joggers. Please do the needful.

                          Thank You.

                          Regards,

                          Dear Sir,
I totally i agrees with Ramakrishna Prabhu, I went to jogging in that park i read the rules board in the park put by government. In that they did put anything about jogging. but one guy told me that jogging is not allowed in that park. There is no problem for me i started jogging in another park.
my point for writing here is, i saw people running outside the park in the road which is very dangerous for there wealth and also they might get accident by the vehicle.
why running is not allowed in the park ?
there are small parks in the BTM in which jogging is allowed, why in this park is prohibited. The people in this area have to consider may be one day there son or daughter may have to for another park for jogging for better health

                          Thank you

I am a trainee journalist in Indian Institute of Journalism and New Media.
As a part of our course we take up issues concerning the Bangaloreans and do reporting on the issues. And I would like to take up the issue mentioned by you in your complaint.

It would be kind on your part if you can mail me some more details regarding this problem. And it would also be helpful if you can give me the contact details of the committee members.
May be I can be of some help in at least bringing the issue to the notice of the concerned officials as i am going to interview them as a part of my reporting.

                          Hi All,

This happened to me also today.
And as people above have mentioned, the BBMP rules board does not prohibit jogging on the track, its just some elderly people who have put up a no jogging board for their convenience, without any proper justification. This way I can put up a no walking board tomorrow. These committee members don't realize their children might also feel like

I agree to the fact that this is causing nuisance to morning joggers. We need to do some thing about this. Can we not get a copy of BBMP rule book to consolidate and put forward our point ?

                          Thanks

As a result of this whole area is covered with thick poisonous smoke, this is leading to early morning suffocation. This problem is not limited to only my area; I have seen this happening in most places of Bangalore. I don’t blame these sweepers for such un-appropriate action, because nether they have the knowledge of consequences nor they have any other option. They are just doing what they have been instructed to do.
As it is there is so much air pollution everywhere which is unavoidable, At least some one can educate these sweepers not do so and designate a separate place to dump such biodegradable wastes so that it can be used for agricultural purpose.

                                Please take some action.

It has been 3 years and we are still not able to get our Khata transferred. When will BBMP start issuing this. We have been patiently waiting for the various events that were being quoted as required to happen before BBMP starts efforts in this regard. Now the BBMP election which has been the last straw has been going back and forth.

Will the government conduct these elections, if it is not going to happen any time soon, do we have a recourse to getting our Khata and start house construction.

It is a very pathetic state of affairs that the government keeps citizens who should be served by them, as hostages in their political games.

                                    Dear Sir,

I have purchased BMRDA approved site at Pillahalli village near Nelamangala, Bangalore north taluk.

The sites are registered on my name.

I went to Huskur grama Panchayat ( Near Pillahalli) regarding Khata transfer. Their response is very poor. They are demanding more money for giving Khata transfer. I have submitted all papers what they demanded. Kindly guide me in this regard.

                                      Dear Sir/Madam.
This case is from the area of Marathalli, Munnekola area from Bangalore. its about Maruti layout 2nd Cross, MunneKola, SJR dental college Road,Marathalli 560037.
The street is a pure residential area, where in lot of families stay. There is no drainage system to that area, the drainage is left in one plot and its on the road..to go out of that street one has to go through that drainage water always.
There is no other way to go.
Its been there atleast i have seen that from past 4 yrs.. Its the same case there always,,

Hope BBMP notice this and do some action..

The status of Saraswathipuram Main Road in Nyanappanahalli is worsening day by day. This being mud road, emnates lot of dust making the life of locals miserable. To make the things worse, sides of the road was recently dug up, the mud and jelly stones are put on the road side, making it really difficult for the commuters to use the road. Numerous requests and complaints are already made to the authorities, including local MLA Shri. Satish Reddy, but no action has been taken so far.

This road needs to be metalized immediately such that residents can leave a peacefull and healthy life.

Our layout was BDA approved and now it is in BBMP, private land is there in mid of the layout and it is used by landlord as a burial ground to burry their famliy members dead bodies, as per out layput plan it has shown as a private property, it ia hardly 40 ft away from house and residential sites. My house is just 100 ft away from this place. I had given compliant to BBMP commissioner twice and lodged the complinat but no action has been taken, the landlords are influential in govt and having mucle and money power, is this the reason BBMP is not able to take action?
Can somebody adive how and whom I can approach to solve this problem, is there as scope to BBMP to acquired this land, in fact this land is in between 2 CA sites.

SNS Arcade lane was under construction for over a month, but now when the question of removing encroachment by some people arose, the work has stopped and left undone and in a worse condition then when the work started. The Entrance to SNS Arcade has also been blocked. This is on old Airport road. Someone please help us rectify these problems. PS other problems here- one person runs a eatout right on the lane, some people put their boards in the middle of the road( Professional courier and a Xerox wala) and one person makes mattresses on the road, street dogs also make matters worse.

                                                    Dear Sir,

I am a resident of more than a decade long house arrested in Horamavu road in Ramamurthynagar, Bengaluru (Bangalore).

We have been under virtual house arrest since more than a decade on every Sunday till date. The road on which we stay has been completely blocked with market activties which is preventing even for us to walk out of our houses. We had medical emergencies which could not be addressed (even a critically illed patient could be reached by an Ambulance) which has made us plead to get a sanction board against using the road for selling (market activities).

Now the violation of market activities board is posted however no change is seen in the market activities. We request you to help us in solving the problem.

                                                      Hi,
Subject : Complaint on road condition between Veeranapalya Signal to Dasarahalli.
We are staying in Coffee Board Layout, Kempapura, Hebbal. The kempapura road connecting the dasarahalli from veeraanapalya junction in Outer ring road of hebbal is kept as hectic since for the years. This is the road used to get accessed by people staying near and around Dasarahalli, Amrutha Halli, Kempapura etc.. vastly even the road is too bad. The condition of the road as of now is with the jallis[no idea, what is the need of keeping the jallis for a long time with no reason on doing the successive activities]. The jallis are not allowing to walk only and we shall imagine how the condition of the drive that can happen in that road and the condition and lost of vehicle age and condition drove over the road.
Kindly please take a attention of this request to prepare the road immediately, and after the new road, the government would control some traffic and help the public on easy and safe access of the road. Also it would help public and government to prevent in view of loses in vehicles maintainance.

                                                      Thanking You.
                                                      Jayachandran.

The road between Delmia corner to Arakere Mico Layout bus stand via Dollers colony and Panduranga nagar is full of pot holes. There is too much traffic in this road. It is humanly difficult to drive 2/4 wheelers on this road. One has to drive in Zig Zag to move on this road. The residents of Panduranga nagar and Arakere Mico Layout will be grate ful to BBMP , if they quickly fill the pot holes and repair the road properly.
