I am a tutor and paid 4000rs to buy 1600 coins from then. But i am experiencing that its a fake company. They are generating demand from every tom, dick and harry and trapping tutors to use coins to get that lead. When tutor contact, that turns out to be a fake person, coaching center offering 100 rs/hour. The person has little idea about subjects/courses. Just want to entangle you how much rate you want. And then quotes a very less rate, so that tutor itself say no. So this is a fake demand. I have to use 70 coins=200rs to contact a prospect student.

And now when i contact urban pro, they say that even if its a fake demand, we will at max refund 40% after 7 days.

Please ban this company and save indian people in this crisis time of corona.

We had been listed client fo urbanpro for last 6 years and more. Everyyear we use to pay a sum for 6 months and get our contract renew.

But this year they collected amount of rs 9000 in the month of may 27 2019 stating me verbally the contract is valid for six months. And sudenly they stopped our services in june 2019 stating that our coins are over.

This was not stated me earlier, even after repeated follows up with urbanpro with their excecutive saurab and dlip the manager and last mr chandan. My contract stands to be cancelled. They were sending me enquires all from mumbai. And we have a branch only in navi mumbai.

I uad hired a home tutor naina sethi thriliugh urban pro. The lady is just not fit to teach kids.. She shouts at them and when they ask any questions she calls them stupid.. I had given money in advance and now she sats u collect it from my home.. This is really bad and i feel cheated by this teacher.. I need my full monetly refund for the torture my child has gone through or i will have to approach police... This teacher is psycho and needs doctors help

Urbanpro customer service and sale is assigned to the same person.

We called to tell them that we were getting leads from very far and they were irrelevant.

We contacted the executive who sold us the package.

The person said that you do not know how to use computer and internet and said something in tamil which couldn't be understood.

We assured him that we were adjusting the area of 5 kms circumference but he said i am busy...

After the package was over, their team member, a girl contacted us to sell package and we told her our greviance.

But, she turned out to be equally inhumane and cold towards our problem.

Then, there had been never a call back from their side, neither to resolve our complaint not to sell anything.

I have taken platinum membership o[censored]rban pro. The person was sunny, as a salesman of that company. I took this pan in oct 2018. They had promised me that if they couldn't provide their service i. E providing enquiry then my payment will be refunded. I got only 10 enquiries only.6 months had already gone. I made several complaints against urban pro but they neither resolved my problems nor refund my payment. Sunny has changed his number. He has no response at all. He had continuously been calling to take the plan o[censored]rban pro and trapped me in net of fraudness. I would like to go to concern with cyber crime branch against urban pro. A number of people has been suffering from urban pro. I want to take strong step towards the eradication of such type of fake company.

I registered in urbanpro with a platinum account paying rs.7000. Sunil was the person from urbanpro to close the deal. He was after me to pay the money. I told i will open the platinum account the next day as it was already 10pm but he said he wanted to impress his boss by closing the deal in the night itself.. He kept on calling me non-stop even when i was on another call. He said he will able to project to his boss that he is working late hours. I thought if it does any good to him and his career, i will help him out by paying the money in the night itself. He promised me i could contact him for any issues. However, after the money was paid,
The company name itself he entered incorrectly. I called or pinged him several times to rectify the company name but he didn't correct it. Later he told me to send out an email as he was not responsible for doing it. Such was my pathetic experience with urbanpro. Once they get ur money, u will be ignored.

Update:
After i added the above review, i received a call from urbanpro asking me to withdraw the review. Initially i did consider withdrawing my review but on second thought, i remembered that it was the second time this has happened. So decided against withdrawing it.
Now urbanpro has deleted my account before i used up the points allotted to me for the platinum account. Really disheartening since sunil, the urbanpro representative, had told me at the time of selling the platinum membership that the membership will be valid till i exhaust all the coins. And i still have about 1800 coins in my account (I received inquiries for hardly 200 coins).

It seems that the entries on Urbanpro are fake and do not belong to actual students.

The entries in bulk are manifested to get more attention from teachers. When you call on the numbers mentioned most of the time you dont get any reply. Sometimes if the call has been picked by someone, the students are not interested in taking any of the class.

It's a very huge sacm running to lure teachers who are actually looking for some students to teach.

The customers I contact either block me straight away or they wish to learn some other subject which I don't teach(I have updated my preference already). Then there's another student who starts flirting with me. If I don't get my refund I will file a case against your ## company. I need some kind of valid response to my complaint. Such kind of disgusting behavior is totally unacceptable and I will not take it lightly.

I am not getting inquires of my configured location within 5 km radius. The inquiry always comes from far distance and very much casual about the course. After taking platinum membership, my profile is not updated since many hours. There is a lack of transparency regarding how to put banners after platinum membership. Please help me regarding this.

I have purchased urban pro plan in the month of april-2018, but till today i don't have any single inquiry received from urban pro. Already started escalating this issue from last one month but no one has courtesy to call back and attend our query.

I don't know but i think they are cheating to clients, so guys please be aware. This is 3rd month and not single inquiry from urban pro.

I have upgraded my account with urban pro but still my account shows zero number of coins. Amount has been deducted from my account and i have got mail from urban pro that payment is successfull still its showing not available for apply. Worst service from urban pro. There is no number to call only a automated voice call and no mail response.

Guys in short I want to tell you that please don’t get impressed by her reviews on urban pro as it’s totally opposite in reality I am not denying about her English skills, how can I do that she uses this skills as a weapon to attract students to get enrolled for her sessions. I am just trying to aware you about her greediness for money, I suggest you all not to pay the full amount at the time of registering with her, try to make it in installment. As I had paid her 5k in one go just for 15 days IELTS preparation and I got to attend only three classes of one and half hour and later she vanished and didn't respond to my messages and calls because of her misconduct, dishonesty and irresponsibility towards her teaching I did not get the required scores in IELTS, I will never forget how she has cheated me. And most importantly during the class she used to talk all non related things like: her personal life stuff and about her present students issues, instead of concentrating on subject. It was nothing just to waste the time of class and close the session once the time is done so beware of this action...Finally, as a well-wisher I familiarize you about her reality now its up to you to decide wisely.

Note: To my surprise she has added a review by using my name well done Archna as you said I will never forget you as you are a unique CHEATER I ever seen in my life. Still you have time just stop fooling innocent people. Its good for you.

Beware tutors!! Don't subscribe to this platform.
Urbanpro is more a joke than a real business! Either they don't understand their business or they have failed miserably at it. Our feedback is very similar to piyali ghosh in this list of complaints/ feedbacks.
We are registered as providers of career counseling. Urbanpro does not have serious clients looking to get solutions and pay for it. This may also be happening due to their ill repute in the market. Since they have created a bad name for themselves, the candidates could be finding it difficult to trust the source (Tutor/ counselor) they refer. Hence, they are not ready to get seriously involved in buying the service.
For the seller, it results in all loss.. First, loss of money for registration. Then, loss of time, energy and money calling these so called enquiries without real conversions. Because you hardly find any serious candidates here!

Hence beware!!

How can u say the customer is accurate.
When customer is not responding means they don't pick calls or answerabls to my calls.
There was no communication like yes or no or am exploring or i've hired tutor or i don't require etc from customers end

It's complete ignorance.

I need a strong conviction as such u can't take musicians or a tutor for granted for ur business.

I need fair justice.

We have hired the services of guitar tutor mr jacob through urban pro 2 months back. The tutor came for couple of class and collected rs 15000/- from us as partial fees. The course schedule he gave was for 3 months. After 2 classess he did not turn up. Inspite of repeated calls he did not revert back. Last week he confirmed he will start back his class and that he was unwell for so long but no response till now. Mr jacob only messages after we make numerous calls and informs he will come the next day but there is no visit from his end till now.
We trusted a reputed name like urban pro and hired the servces. We request the company to sort out the matter with the tutor and refund our amount deducting 2 days fees. Hope there is immediate action from your end

Students who have graduated recently may find it difficult to land the dream job immediately after the completion of their studies. It is a great idea for such students to offer their experience in teaching fellow students over online tutoring platforms like urbanpro.com. This ensures that you share your knowledge with others while making a decent income in the bargain. This can help you develop as an individual. This can also prove to be a fruitful full-time occupation.

This is one of the worst site i have ever come across. Their business module is to generate fake leads and spam a tutor's emails with such leads.. You need to buy their membership and coins to contact the students.. The students whose number is being given in the leads are not at all serious or concerned and will reply in a very disinterested manner when contacted by tutors.. Not once or twice or thrice but this stuff has happened at least 30 — 40 times.. And when complained about the fake leads, urbanpro shows least botheration as long as you are buying coins from them.. On the other hand, some students will contact you on their own which will make you believe in urbanpro, but they will never turn up on the discussed day and their mobiles will go into switch off mode all of a sudden... This website is just to mentally harass both teacher and students who are genuine.. Worst of the lot... Parents and students discuss and confirm the tutor and then they just vanish.. Just like that.. Not once or twice.. This has happened on numerous occasions.. Not that we are smart enough to understand how you ppl fool and extract money we are not falling into the trap again..

They have created platform for connecting student & teachers & trainers. If i am using it free thats good platform. But when they are taking payment from us as premium member & not providing services that illegal.

From 2013 i might have spend 2-3 thousand on their membership, but all students they load are fake. They do not reply and money spend in member ship goes off coin by coin...

When i complaint about it, they say all student are true, you try contacting them. It seem they all fake & don't reply i tried all means of communication (Email, whats app, chat, call) every thing.

So any normal person can analyse this is fake and i want my money back.

Please beware of paying with credit or debit cards as these guys are scammers. They also take no responsibility to refund any money. These guys are big time scam artists. I am a tutor and i just lost 1726 because of this website. If i were a lawyer i'd do something about it. When you want to proceed with life, # happens. If any of you are planning to buy any service from this scam site. Beware. You'll lose your money for nothing.

One of the tutor, he never picks up phone nor communicates when he does not come. We paid rupees 6000 and he completed only two session so far. We called him sometimes and his phone number comes engaged. Before any further incidence we contacted urbanpro can help us immediately and they said they cannot help beware o[censored]rban pro as they dont provide background checks on tutors. Urbanpro if they dont help parents soon will get affected and we parents agree to others who have lost similar money.

i am a yoga master, for last 5years, recently i was searched in internet about how to get yoga calss enquress, i found a site that is called www.urbanpro.com. then i was joined on that site as a member for getting enqures. i was joined as a silver membership by paying 500 rupees, for that amount they given 800 credit points, if the sends a enqurey about yoga class, if i wanna open that enqurey i want to pay them 30 credit points, this is the prosess. But that website provides me many of fake enqurey, with a different mobile numbers, that phone numbers are not working or not lifting or regecting.
but every enqurey i am losting 30credit points, they are robbing me.

A mathtutor by name of Kanhaiya jha/ vipul jha contacted me after I posted in your website.he took a 2hour class on 18sept and then he assured me of next class on20 Sept and asked me for a 5000rs advance which I gave trusting him as a teacher.but it has been one week and he has been postponing the classes on some or other pretext.l am sore he is deceiving and dwindling people.l would like you to take strict action against him.l am also writing a police complaint for the same.

i have joined urbanpro to learn spoken english in urbanpro and i take mr.sudheer kumar as my teacher he called me and told me about his coaching methods and also he told about the fee that is i have to pay rs.5000 within a week i have paid the amount in my sbi bank to his account .after that i called him and asked about my class but he always told that i was busy with my work will start tomorrow..everyday he was telling like this only..i was asking him to take tution for the past 1 year but still now he didnt take a single class. i told him to return my money.but he escaped he changed his number.my parents were scolding me daily.so that i wanted to complain on him...i kindly request you to return my money. my contact number is [protected]

I wanted to use urban pro to uplift my service, i downloaded and also paid 499 rs to get upgraded,
While completing my profile i realized that i am unable to put profile image neither i can show my work as the upload image option was not working,
In spite of helping me out with a solution the customer care executive name swati naik was horrible rude to me, she doesn’t have sense to talk to a customer first of all,
Secondly i understand i might have sent 2 3 mails before completing the sla however there is a way of talking.

Urbanpro is losing its image because of such harsh customer executives.

Due to an ad sent by UrbanPro, I upgraded from Silver membership to Gold membership. As the website says, I should have been credited with certain coins. This has not happened.

The customer support persorn Ms. Swati Nair and her manager Ms. Shravani, say that on upgrading one will not get the benefit of coins.

However, I asked for a link in the website which has a clause regarding this saying that one will go...

I was shocked that the website www.urbanpro.com found my info and started to take money from me. I haven’t used their services as well as I haven’t subscribed for them, but these jerks started to take money every month. I was so angry and tried to stop this scam, but everything was completely useless. I wonder if there are people, who face the same problems. What measures do you take in order to stop it?
