Product with termites and no response after sale
Order ID. 132170, Pathetic experience with product and customer service. sharon dressing table was delivered on 1st March 2021. After a week we found termites attack with powder coming out in many places in the product. Tried to contact salesperson Mr.Shivaprasad from kalyannagar Bangalore showroom. He did not respond at all. After complaining so many times in call centre, problem not resolved till now. I don't know what if the termites attack my teak wood cot and ward robe. They are not worried or bothered once payment is done. There is no contact number other than the call center number. I had to wait for long time for the calls to get connected. They refused to give any number even after contacting them from past 8 to 10 days and I am left without any updates. My request is to consider the problem of the customer and pickup the product as soon as possible and refund the amount.

The order was placed on 18th October 2020 and till date (29th December 2020) we have not received the bed. Despite calling then every alternate day since mid-november, I have not received any concrete update. Every time I call they the customer service says they will transfer the call to the Bangalore team and then they disconnect the call. Last update i received was that the bed has completed QC and will be delivered by 24th December 2020 and when i call today (29th December 2020) they are saying that still QC has not been done and bed is still in Jaipur.
There is no tracking option in the app. They only take the money and so not provide the material, service or even a genuine response.
I would never ever refer them to anybody. Better to go to a local furniture shop and get it done so that atleast you can physically visit and see the progress.
Poor service and worst customer centricity.

Double Bed not Received, 73 days and still counting
I have ordered double bed on 18th Oct. 2020 and paid full amount on the mentioned date. Initially I received Wrong Product due to the negligence of one of the store staff at Kirti Nagar, Delhi, that too after a period of 1 month. Then it took 7 days to get the same installed, that too after numerous follow ups..
After I raised objection against it, it got returned for remanufacturing and I got the assurance to get it in further 15 days.
Now it's 73rd day when I paid all the money and still I am struggling to get my bed.
My children are sleeping on floor in such a cold weather..
Not only this, I have written atleast 6 mails till date, but they do not even bother to reply.. After calling on helpline no. also, nobody gives the solution and I have to be on hold everytime for 15-30 minutes.
I am really fed up now and want my full money to be refunded along with interest and compensation..

This is in regard to my Order # 102583
I had placed this order on 26th Sep and till date, i have tried multiple times reaching out to the customer service to get an update and the standard response is
1) It will be delivered in a week
2) Somebody from Bangalore center will call you
and till date none of the above 2 has happened. Also, no courtesy to call back
A ticket is always opened and closed with the below response:
"This is to inform you that your order #102583 (Waldo Coffee Table (Walnut Finish)) will be shipped shortly, also, we shall contact you once the shipment is received at Bangalore Warehouse for scheduling delivery accordingly.
So I am requesting for a full refund on this ASAP and don't want to wait anymore. I am concerned that if this is the service I get before the delivery of the product, what will be the service once I have received it.

Worst of the worst service I have experienced with long delivery delays
Very unprofessional with no cancellation policy
They make sure to make the consumer feel helpless by taking 100% payment on booking and then keep on delaying the delivery and transferring calls to different different departments

Worst online experience so far. I doubt this company called Wooden Street is running some other scam not a furniture business.
We ordered so many products from them not knowing the kind of service they provide.
Sofa - 9 weeks( defective piece delivered)
Dining table - 6 weeks
Center Table -7 weeks
Console Table - 8weeks now not yet delivered.
Winner is -- Cushion filling standard size 18*18 and 20*14 -- Not yet delivered 8weeks now!
I think they are manufacturing in mars or jupiter may be!
We ordered so many products from them not knowing the kind of service they provide.

Order placed on 19-may-2020. As per the website details, the product will be delivered immediately if available, otherwise the estimated delivery is 5-7 weeks. Unfortunately, the delivery has not happened in 7 weeks. Every time, we follow up with customer care, we get the details of the current stage of production but they had no clue about the actual planned delivery date. Hello am Rajshekar, I have booked a King Size Bed from Woodenstreet by paying 34K and they assured me of 5WEEKS delivey and one guy emailed me telling he is the poinit of contact for everything. After 5weeks period he stoped replying to my email and after several follow ups 2 more frm support team came in the picture and finally got the delivery after 9WEEKS.
The product was Defective on arrival. Immediately the photos were sent to the support team guy and he told they will get the Broken part replaced. I waited for 4-5days and called that Guy, he stopped receiving my calls.. I had sent serveral emails and another guy frm Support team replied after a week and told it will be replaced and told me that damaged Bed will be picked up from my place and return after 6days.. initially during booking their claim was it will be manufactured from factory and takes 3-4 weeks for manufacturing and 1 week for delivery. Now how can they replace bed in 6days ?? I felt that they pickup the damaged one and repair the same and send it back to me.. Then that guy assured me that in 10 days they will send me Replacement and then pick the damaged one.. After 10days that guy also disappeared and another guy came into look and told the other guy didnt infrom the manufacturing team to start production, so he asked me to wait for another 20days( already 1 month over receiving damaged bed), for which i didnt agree. They denied Refund.
After getting them calls from local Kannada Organisations at BANGALORE and THREATNING that they will inflict damage to the ShowRoom frm which purchase happened, they finally agreed to Refund. Now they say they will takeback the Bed and refund after 4days.. Still NOT REceived REFUND.
Guys PLEASE DONT BUY from Woodenstreet.. U get HARASSED from them right from booking to post delivery cum REFUND. It was the worst purchase i had ever done in my Life..

I am a new customer from Indore.Purchased a wooden sofa set from store via online payment.Rceived the product after 30 days.There was a huge defect on one of the products.The delivery person took the picture of the defect and left.Next we called the store manager who assure us at the time of purchasing that he will help us if any problem comes in future.So as promised he said he will arrange the pick up.2-3 weeks went buy but no one came.The store manage asked us to mail to customer support team.We did that also.Still no response.Called the customer care a number of times.Every just lies to us that our problem will be resolved.Its been more than a month after delivery.No one cares in wooden street.I hope this company shuts down early.They are not worthy of our money.

I have purchased a bookshelf (Furniture) from woodenstreet.com. They asked to make full and final payment well in advance, before proceeding with the order. Then i have mode the payment and confirmed the order.
After the payment they created order conformation (Odf) and committed for 40-45days delivery (Order num #50692).
It's almost 90 days now, and there is no clear update on my product. I have been requesting for the status and product dispatch, from last 2 months.
Each time they informed a new reason for delay and a new date for product dispatch. I have gone through all possible levels of escalations. At each escalation level they informed that the product is going through it's final touch up. And will be dispatched in two days. But it's now one month that i am hearing the same story. They have given nearly 10-12 false dates which they never cared about. After fed-up from their service, i have asked them to refund the amount. But since then, they are not responding my calls or email.
I have no clue about the product or my money. This is a clear case of cheating.
Please help me getting my refund.

Products received is defective and the service is way more than pathetic, disgusting wud b a very very small word to explain their service... For us they delivered the product after 60days n tht too a defective one, n now to rectify the same, its been a week almost n thrs no solution or proper response, they do not call back, i have to call them up everyday to find out, they lie everytime everyday and a different person speaks to us everytime we call, they have taken the whole payment on day 1 and delivered a defective product and not helping in rectifying the same after numerous calls from our side and multiple fake promises frkm their side. We are badly stuck and cheated by wooden street (Woodenstreet.com)-purchased from their bengaluru outlet

pathetic service
Utterly dissatisfied with Wooden Street furniture. I had ordered for a study table from Wooden Street. It took 5-6 weeks to be delivered. The delivery person had promised that the furniture assembly would happen in max 2 days. It has been 2 weeks, still it is not done. I have been calling the customer care repeatedly but every time they are giving me new dates as to when the assembly will happen. Never ever shall I trust or order something from Wooden Street.

We have purchased 2 Sofa chair 3 months back from your Bangalore branch. Within 1 month, one of the chairs is broken so we registered compliant 2 months back.
We are chasing wooden street unprofessional staff from 2 months; however, every time false promise that someone will visit our home but no one turned up. It was so frustrating that every time we take leave from the office with the hope that someone from the woodenstreet will visit; however, it was all false hope.
Wooden street product quality is pathetically bad, customer support is horrible and hence no trust left. Support team disconnects the call, never call back, all false promises and many more.
We spoke to “Raksheet”, a customer support executive and it was very bad and unrealistic interaction. He disconnected the call a couple of times, no responsive behavior, childish attitude towards the customer and later he was not picking the call. We are going to file a complaint in the consumer court about the harassment we have received after purchasing a wooden street product and the financial losses due to false promises from your team lead to taking leaves from the office. We have approached Woodenstreet team(Raksheet, Nitesh, Alisha, Himani Shrimali ) almost 50-60 times in the last 2 months but no luck.

Ordered a wall decor (Luckily not an expensive product) from woodenstreet.com on october 5. Even after continuous follow ups through emails and customer support calls got no update on the order. Item was never delivered nor refund processed. Unfortunately i missed reading reviews before. Know that i have read all reviews want to warn other buyers to stay away from woodenstreet!

I ordered a study table on Oct 23rd. The maximum delivery time was 7 weeks. It is 24th Dec today and I have not yet received the product. The company keeps saying it will be delivered tomorrow but that tomorrow never comes.

I have been requesting for a cancellation of the order and refund of my money as I am moving out of the country but the company just does not respond. I have been trying to contact the founders but i do not get any concrete information from the team, they just give me evasive answers. I need help to get my money back from the company.

We bought 2 wooden street sofa cum bed costing us 90, 000 in total but what we received was a piece of waste which is really disappointing.What we had ordered and what was delivered was totally different and a waste of money. The model they show on site and what is actual is far far different and there is hardly any space which we call as 'usable area'.People dont fall trap to their fancy looking products on site because they do not deliver what they show on site. order for bedside table
I placed an order of bedside table (Swirl Bedside Table (Walnut Finish) Model WS19181 from wooden street site on 25th March. The website states order delivery within
5-7 weeks however before placing the order I had a discussion on call with someone from their team on expedited delivery. I was assured that order will be delivered in
5 weeks and also were assigned a relationship manager.
There was no option of COD and I was made to do the full payment during time of placing the order. After placing the order I waited for full 1 month to get any
intimation from them but received none. No mail communication, no call or message to update on my order status. Also there was no way to track the order on your own.
When I called them around April end I was being told that my order is still under manufacturing. I reminded them about my discussion about expedited delivery and asked
them about a delivery date but got no proper answer except that manufacturing will complete by May 3rd. I dropped a mail to my relationship manager but got a random
response- order will be delivered as per estimated time (where is the estimated time mentioned?). I dropped another mail for a cancellation or order and was being told
that since its under manufacturing they will not do any cancellation. Subsequently I again chatted with there team on May 5th and was being told that order is still
under manufacturing. Upon stating that I was being told earlier that it will be ready on May 3rd he told that its manufactured but will go for QC. I asked how much
time it will take for QC and again got no confirmed date. I again contacted them after 15 days and was being told that they still need 2-3 days for QC- I am really not
sure what they do in QC for so long. I again asked about my order status around May 28th over chat and was being told that shipment will dispatched to Bangalore on May
29th and will be delivered in 5-6 days. Apart from above I had also tried to contact to them 2-3 times more on call or chat and every time was being told that someone
from their support team will call within 48 hours. Till date I never received any call from them except on the un-fateful day of ordering i.e Mar 25th. I still curse
myself for this day!! I have dropped almost 5-6 mails and last two mails went unanswered. Upon contacting them today June 7th again I got no confirmed answer on
delivery except that it will deliver soon. I am really doubtful on the authenticity of their website and product now. They are only duping people's hard earned money
and have pathetic service. By this time I would have got a table designed/delivered by any other brands. They take all money in advance and then you are left with
speculating on your order with no chance of cancellation. I request Voxya to get my money back from this fraudulent site which has kept me hanging for so long.

I have ordered a bed on 14th june 2017 from woodenstreet.com. The promised date of delivery was 10th july 2017. However they didn't kept their word and delayed the delivery stating some issues. I understood and waited till 2nd august 2017, but still they didn't deliver. On 8th of august after the maximum wait of 7 weeks as they mention in their terms and conditions, i asked them for cancellation and refund. Initially they disagreed, but later they told to refund. But, they never refund stating so many issues (Like refund failure, dussera, diwali, owners are not there etc). Now after so many days, they told me that they won't refund the money in any condition. To close this issue i requested them to purchase any other product from their bangalore shop instead of the refund. Till now after 7 months i am not getting neither the money back not any alternate product. I have raised a consumer complaint, but they didn't respond too. Despite of having all written communication in mail, they are not honoring the commitment. Please help me out to get my hard earned money back from this fraud company.

Order - 25193 i ordered a bench. Before placing the order i called their bangalore store to check if the product is available to see. It wasn't but they assure that it will be the same as seen in website. I placed the order by paying 15000 inr. They only have pre-payment option. After 6 weeks, the order came and it was completely different. I requested them multiple times to refund the amount but they are denying. Later i read that they do the same with many customers. We placed order on 31st July and 7th Aug for # 22585, #22769. The product was to be delivered in 5-7 weeks. Which was never delivered
# 22585( worth ~1.8 Lakh) - Product delivered after 10 weeks in bad and deteriorating quality. When contacted they said will send carpenter to repair. which has not yet been sent.

Hi,
I placed an order (Order i’d - 22585) on 31 st july 2017, 12 am worth rs 1.84 lakhs on www.woodenstreet.com.
I found the above site, founder and concerned team as most irresponsible and unprofessional ever.
1. They delayed the delivery.
After so many calls and follow up mails, finally delivered on 14th october 2017.
2. Products received were packed in
Wet packing papers. Pictures attached.
3. They used low quality packing papers to deliver wooden goods from bangalore/warehouse to kolkata. The less expensive packers and movers use atleast much better quality product.
4. Not a single product was in complete good condition. Scratches, dents and unpolished products delivered.
5. After unpacking only one product in front of the delivery men, which found as faulty and scratches, when we denied to accept the other products - customer team said “ please accept, as the removing goods from customer site won’t be entertained” and the damaged goods will be repaired, polished or in the expected condition by local carpenters provided by the seller next day only (Please note : the vehicle left the customers place after just unloading goods at downstairs and without customers invoice signature/delivery proof).
6. The same moment we contacted customer service and talked to person mr. Ashish and ravine over +[protected], atleast for an hour committement are by the customer team that the carpenter will visit at the location after dipawali and they will do needful.
7. After dipawali, umpteen numbers of mails and calls made - but no response received from woodenstreet.com
8. On 27th october, informed by customer team that the carpenter will arrive at 28th october morning for the dedicated work.
9. On 28th october when contacted the concerned person, got to know that carpenters are on leave and they will come on 29th 2017 - sunday.
Now the conclusion:
By woodenstreet online shopping portal, it seems to be punctual, professional and successful business like other competitors in india.
Unfortunately woodenstreet found as the most irresponsible and unprofessional market players. They don’t know how handle post sales customers requirement.
They don’t have a single responsible or bold team member, who can atleast do a correct commitment. Each and every word got changed after one day. They know only to do fake promises that too over their own faults.
Dear woodenstreet team, requesting you to try atleast speak the truth even if takes more time but a good business can be grown over commitments only.

refund not given after cancellation

Order date - 14/06/2017 (Queen size cot)
Proposed date of delivery - 02/08/2017 (Promised to deliver earlier)
They were unable to deliver even after the due date. I have given 1 week extension, but not delivered even after that.
Cancellation date - 07/08/2017
Confirmation from seller - 17/08/2018
Numerous followups to know the status of the refund, but got no response.
Now they are not updating the status in the website against the order nor they are processing the refund. It's being more 100 days, i am following up with these guys.
How can i get my hard earned money back???

charged extra amount, defective products, fake commitments, product not as mentioned on site

I had ordered one queen size bed, king size bed and one sofa from this site.
First the invoice they provided was having a clear calculation mistake, so i asked them for refund they denied it and generated a fake invoice to adjust the amount i paid showing that no extra amount was paid by me.
2) this fake invoice also had prices manipulated. The sofa price in fake invoice was mentioned more than it was at the time of order. So showing the sofa price more and manipulating taxes and all they adjusted the amount. As per fake invoice too if they would have charged me the actual amount which was at the time of ordering then too there was amount of ₹ 8500 more paid by me. I asked them to give me atleast that refund still they denied. I prepared a proper world document to explain the issue but they kept on denying that they have charged extra.
3) the beds which i ordered were mentioned to be completely manufactured using sheesham wood and when the beds were ordered i noticed that 50% material used is mdf. They cheat u saying its sheesham.
4) the beds are delicate and totally defective. I am using the broken bed since two months after complaining daily and taking followups also no resolution has been provided.
5) sofa was also not as shown on the site the material used is different and also the material used is so cheap that its getting torn, so when i requested to change the material they agreed to change it within a week but after 2 and half months also till date its not changed. Neither they provide any updates regarding it.
5) as a compensation for limitcrossing late delivery of my order they were suppose to provide me one more complimentary bedside table about which they are not giving any updates now.
Since the time i ordered i. E may 2017, i am facing multiple issues with this site. Eventhough i take daily followups no one in the company is bothered to solve the issues i am facing. Everytime just fake commitments and rude responses are received from the other end. I have paid a very huge amount for my order and the products are also not as mentioned on the site. Also 1000 times the commitments given to me are broken and by using cheap material in the name of sheesham they have breached my trust.
Literally since 4 months i am getting mentally tortured by them, i have lost money also and no proper product is also received besides that i am getting highly tortured.
I have all mails, chat transcipts, screenshots and everything to prove my each and every point.
I want this company to solve all my issues and refund me all the extra amount paid by me as soon as possible and pay me a penalty of rs 1, 50, 000 for causing me this mental harassment and for breaching my trust.

I purchased a king size double bed on 28th July, One and half month gone, I have not received the product yet. Nit only that, they do not respond to my calls, email, or facebook posts. When I call them, they ask me to stay on hold, and then just leave the call, After 5 minutes call gets disconnected automatically. When I insist that no, dont hang up on me, they say that they will arrange their manager to call me in 15 minutes. Obviously, they never call back. I made at least 50 calls in last one month. Sometimes I do get hold of someone more helpful who says that I will receive the product by weekend. That weekend never came.
They have simply cheated my hard earned money knowing well that as a poor customer I cannot do anything. I am running post to pillar, and they are not even responding. I have lost money. I am mentally tortured. Nit to mention, my valuable time is spent on trying to get hold of someone who can tell what happened to my money.
Please help. I am sure I am not the only one who has been cheated by Woodenstreet.
I have lodged a complaint with Consumer Helpline run of Govt of India. Lets see if they can control Woodenstreet's fraudulant business practices.

I ordered a hydraulic bed from woodenstreet and it did not function as a hydraulic bed should.They took it for repairs. not happy with the quality of fittings used. I returned it two weeks ago, have not received a refund from them as yet. They do not return my phone calls or reply to my emails. I paid 57000 for the bed, it is a lot of money and I want it back.
