Hi I'm vidya k murthy from shimoga karnataka member of YHAI.we four members attended the Gaya-Rajgir family tour organised by the Bihar unit at Rajgir on last week of December 2023 but the organisers of the tour is very bad first of all they said 4 days and 3 nights with many of the places with entrance fee they collected 7500 per family but they organised only 3 days and 3 nights by covering 50-60% of places they said when we questioned about the tour plan organisers they answered very rudley I told them to complain or mail it to center they(A.K Bose and Mohan kumar)replied that nothing bother about if we complain it to either President or PM of India.And two to three men's don't know how to behave with the women and irrespect me talking me with loud voice.
We paid fee before 3 months of the tour plan.By travelling 58 to 60hours we are very excited to see the places they did not cover all the places like Gaya, glass Bridge, nature safari, shanti stupa and many more which is mentioned in the tour plan.
We really very much disappointed by the organisers of the tour and also the way they interacted with us.so please consider my request don't allow it happen in future family tours.

It is intimated that earlier i was opted for e voucher. But present situation is not permitting me to attend.
I would like to go with option refund in view of ongoing pandemic and my financial condition

I sent email many times no person is responding. my amount is with YHAI since one and half year. No refund is issued

This is very disappointing and heart breaking. Heard lot about YHAI. But that doesnt seem true. Thing is I myself was completed National Individual Adventure Cum training Camp Leh from 8th to 13th Aug along with my colleagues. As we come under central govt. Employee category we needed completion as well as Special CL certificate from your side. As program finished we went and asked to Mr. Karthick and he said he'll mail us and let us go go first. After we contact him after 2 days he said he had resigned and gave a fellow number called Vicky. When we contact Vicky he gave another number of fellow called Bisnoy after 2 days. After all these, we contact Tanong for Certificates he is keep on saying he will mail us. From past a week by now. Also contact him over whatsapp. He often responds this is frustrating for us because we lose 10 days Leave from our own account. And also reimbursement amount of 16000. What can we do? Please help us. And this very demotivating for our colleagues who want to participate in such programs of yours. They are asking us to guide. But what can we say to them like. Nothing. So if possible please resolve the problem.

It is almost 3 months now, but still I have not received my refund.
I am following up with Mr Sanjay Mishra(Accounts Dept) for last 2-3 weeks. But everytime he gives me some false promise.

Looks like YHAI has lost it's credibility. They are running fraud while making refund to users.

We reported on 8th June morning 4 o'clock, due to heavy traffic that the route from mcleodganj to kasol faced, we were stuck in 3 traffic jams. We left mcleodganj by 9.30 yet were late beacuse of that. We tried to call Yhai to inform, but no one responded.
Reaching here we were threatened to check out for no reason. On confronting he had no valid explainations other than using his age and position to keep our mouth shut.

The same day we when standing in line for going for acclimatization he unnecessarily raised the same topic pointing out us, and saying rude things.

We had our cultural programme the other day when he for no reasons insulted me in front of all again just picking up on me. He is having a biases on the basis of culture.

While for completing reporting procedures he asked us to get some documents and some things in orientation that we had. We were searching ATM and we got late by 5 mins. He asked me to sign that yellow form to terminate trek without even bothering to listen what was that were late by 5 minutes.

He inorder to have his impression as a strict personnel, he is misusing his power. He is doing Exploitation of students who come to YHAI camps. His personality
This is quite a pathetic experience. We were 12 people who entrolled for this trek and all o[censored]s are very disappointed. The person incharge Appa Rao from Andhra Pradesh has no manners how to talk to people. He treated us like we here prisoners facing sentence. He talks the way he wants, and gives threats to terminate the trek without genuine reasons, and giving other person opportunity of being heard. He acts abuses his power given to him by memorandum of YHAI. He is not a person suitable to serve this prestigious insitute beacuse this person is putting Yhai goodwill at stake. You should confirm from other people about his behaviour on call. As all the people who are here with us are unsatisfied with his behaviour. If this continues YHAI is no place for youth atleast.

We being youth are here to trek explore and enjoy. This is our Moto and yhai.

Now am having some medical issues and i cannot travel and specially i cannot go for any trekking and i have emailed them all my medical certificates but still I cannot get Full refund amount.
Its a serious health Issue and I cannot travel. I have already booked my flight tickets also around Rs. 11K and I have to cancel them too.
Its my humble request to you if you kindly look into this matter so that i can get the full refund amount.

Yesteday I stayed in your New Delhi youth hostel chanakyapuri. The food was worst. How can u call it international? You are charging 115 for thali and no option for even egg. I guess in India and all over the world are not veg eaters. Atleast egg should have been there. On being asked the staff sitting there was equally discordial. I would like to know what do u mena by international.

Youth Hostel Association of India, is an association that provides cheap hostel accommodation to the youth of India is just a fraud and a Corrupted association of India. Me, and my 5 friends were planning for a trip to Goa from 24th December 2013 to 1st January 2014 from the last month.The bookings starts before two month of the date of accommodation so i was continuously tracking the Youth hostel association website (http://www.yhaindia.org/). but, today while checking it something unexpected happened as the only hostel in Goa (YOUTH HOSTEL - MARGAO C/O VILLA KOITHRA Youth Hostel Margoa, C/o Villa Koithra Colmorod, Navelim Margoa, Salcete GOA) is not allowing us to book for 6th of December as it is 5th October today then how come the booking for the dates 24th December 2013 to 1st January 2014 shows "sold out" when the booking for such dates have to start from 24th October 2013. I even took the YHAI membership for 2 years as i thought we gonna get the hostel but what is this? just corruption everywhere going all around the country and whats the use of this sort of online booking which is just governed by some powerful individuals who can book any thing in this country even before the specified dates?????? I am even trying to call the customer care number ([protected]) but they are just simply disconnecting the call when i ask them this question. These corrupted associations should be strictly taught some lessons.
