I am a zoomcar host. My car was damaged in a zoomcar booking by the guest and falls under total loss category. For the recovery of total loss zoomcar made a settlement agreement on 6 April 2024 in which they have mentioned that the payment will be done immediately after the execution of the agreement which was signed on 6th April. Today is 11 July but still i did not get my payment. This is very worst situation for me. I am suffering from mental harassment by zoomcar for getting my payment. Please do the needful.

i think this authority is not compatible to resolve this type of issues. its more than a week but no progress i had seen.

    I rented a car from zoomcar india private limited on 2 ocassions and both the occasions the toll at vashi and pune had to be paid in cash as the fastag where black listed / not active . The zoom car policy states that the refund will be made in 5 to 7 days. I booked the car on April 9 to 10 ans April 15 to 17. The working days have passed too and made numberous complaints by raising tickets but no response has come as the company has just a chat support. I used their car 3 times and the fastag was not active on any. Even after they knowing that we have to pay double the amount in cash .

      I am still awaiting refundable deposit and the earnings from listings after my subscription ended on 31st of December 2020.

      I have been following up with the Zoomcar support email id (zap.[protected]@zoomcar.com) since last month to which they have been giving me false assurances stating it will be processed sooner.
      I have attached a screenshot of the last email I received from their support team which is again absurd.

      The support team has conveniently ignored my emails since February first week which makes me assume that their database has erased/forgotten my subscription data. This made me reach out the consumers complaints forum. There is absolutely no other means to reach Zoomcar team.

      During the subscription period when zoomcar shared the monthly statement with a customer they expect us to pay within a timeframe limit post which you put a fine of Rs 300 per day. Similarly they make us pay fine which is by Rs 200 per hour when we delay in keeping the car ready during the listing period. Once they charged me over Rs 2000 for some delays (as I had mistakenly listed the listing period to start at midnight. Didn't realize they expect a customer to wakeup in middle of the night and make the car ready. ) as I was unaware of the procedures for listing a car.

      Why are these fines not applicable for Zoomcar when they delay our payments ?

        I Had A Booking With Zoomcar On 2 November 2020. My Booking Id was : JPS6N28QQ. Trusting On Zoomcar's Past Reputation And My Past Experience, I Paid Them The Security Deposit Of ₹4499 Believing That They Would Refund It Back On Time. According To Their New Refund Policy, It Takes Them 30 Working Days To Refund The Amount Back. But Now, It Has Been More Than 45 Days Since I Booked My Trip From Their App And Still I Haven't Got Any Refund. On Complaining On Their Customer Care Contact Number, The Bot Says You Have No Bookings. I Have Even Tried To Mail Them Many Times, But They Don't Respond. I Hope People Will Look Into My Matter And Help Me Regarding The Same. Otherwise legal case will be initiated by all o[censored]s together who are scammed by ZoomCar.

          I have still not received the refund of booking id: jps6nyk42 and jps6npcbj. It's been more than two months and still no communication.
          Every time call customer care they will say that it is gateway issue and it will take 15 days. Everytime customers are cheated with this lame technical gateway issue reasons.

          The refund amount is rs.11, 762/- which is still not paid and i request the company to make the full and final settlement by making refund.

            Dear sir,

            We had booked zoom car for 4 days on 23/05/2018 to 26/05/2018. We had asked zoom car to drop off the car at our home in pashan sus road aat 6am in morning.

            Person who came to drop the car came 10 mins before 6 am and started requesting to give sms pin because he was late and his company would punish him for being late, if he do not register before 6 am. It was stated in sms that we have to give the pin to zoom car assistant. I gave him number. He was supposed to mark all the damages in the list which he did not do. I ask him why he did not mark all damages, he said company has all the records of damages so i don't have to worry. I ask him to take photographs as well as video of the damages. I myself took few video of damages which i was able to see.
            As car was washed clean while handing over to us, while returning it back we too wash it clean and give them back at my place.

            On return zoom car person who came to pickup car took similar pictures and ask me for pin which i give him. After completing the survey and return process, he show in mobile app that the process is complete. It shows every thing paid so now we don't have to worry as now it is their responsibility to take car back. The kilometers we used were less then allotted to us. Almost 50 percent fuel was in tank. At that time, it did not show and damage charges in app.

            Next day i receive a message that we have to pay damage charges of 10000 without any information on for what those charges are applied.
            I have attached a photo of same with this message.

            My wife is safe driver and driving for so many years. By doing this zoom car is spoiling her reputation as safe and reliable driver.

            We sent them 3 emails asking for the list of damages for which they have charged us. They did not respond back with any details. We ask them for

            1. List of damages caused by us.
            2. Photograph taken before zoom car driver hand over car to us at my location
            3. Photograph taken before we handover car to zoom car driver at our location.

            No information or evidence was provided.

            We called them on the customer support number where there is no option to talk to the customer support but only voice guided system which repeatedly talk about payment we have to make.

            And now they have sent this notice to my wife.

            Even pickup and drop of point shown in notice is wrong as i had paid for drop of service at my home location pashan sus road.

            Doorstep service fees of rs. 300 is clearly visible in the photo i have attached.

            Sub: reminder 1: legal notice for outstanding on your booking jps6249tf with zoomcar

            Dear nilaxi santosh telawane,

            This e-mail is with reference to the booking made by you with zoomcar through company's webpage/mobile app with the following details -

            It has come to our attention that the car has been used in excess of the paid rental amount and in accordance of the agreement duly verified and acknowledged by you, you are liable to make payment of ₹10000 to the company. Please note that failure to make payment of the due amount will render you liable to civil proceedings and the company would be entitled to recover the due amount by attachment of your property (Movable/immovable) or otherwise. Further, willfully declining or making delay to pay the above said outstanding amount could also subject you to criminal proceedings.

            We therefore request you to make payment of the aforementioned outstanding amount of ₹10000 within 5 days of this mail, failing which we shall be constrained to initiate against you civil and criminal legal proceedings as are warranted by law for recovery of the due amount. Please note that in accordance with the member agreement displayed here, duly verified and acknowledged by you, the company is entitled to recover all costs incurred in initiation of legal proceedings.
