As per cbse in english of class 12th there are two novels silas manar and invisible man. And when the question is asked in exam, there is an option of attempting the question from either of the book. But the exam of english held on 02nd march 2019, set 1, question no. 11 (6 mark question) has four options out which only one was mandatory but all the four option were from one novel only whereas it should be from both the novels. Since the exam is over by now and no corrections where made regarding this, hence i would like cbse to provide grace in this question to everyone...

I addie sharma of class 12 th am writing this letter to the officials of cbse regarding the flaunt in the english core 301 exam held on 2nd march in whole india.
It is a matter of fact that every student is informed to prepare one of the two novels alloted and a choice is allotted on the last two questions. The student needs to attempt from whatever novel they has prepare. If the sample paper was correct then we should be rewarded with grace marks and if the blue print is incorrect then also we should be awarded grace marks as its fault on your side not ours. Thank you!

The english core (301) exam of class 12, held on 2nd march 2019, set 1, in section c (Literature), there was problem rin question number 11 and 12 regarding choice. Both questions were novel based. Question 11 contained questions from only silas manner from which students have to attempt only one out of four questions, while question 12 contained questions from invisible man only. The pattern of choices in both questions were irrelevant and not according to latest sample paper issued by the board. This caused great confusion and fear for students at the time of exams.
I request to look into the matter and take appropriate action.

English Core paper held for my son today at Bangalore by CBSE for 12th Std had major error. 11th question all 4 options were from a novel not studied and prescribed.

Understand CBSE prescribes 2 novels and school can opt for any one. Question 11 & 12 gives 4 questions in each i.e 2 from each Novel and student has to do 1 each in 11th and 12th question. But the paper had 4 questions from same novel in question 11 which is not covered as syllabus by my son and he has to do 1. But from where? He has not studied the novel itself?? Question 12 had 4 questions from other novel which he covered and had to do 1, which is fine.

But question 11 is totally lost??? CBSE has to fully compensate for it!!!

Subject: discrepancy in question number 11 and question number 12 of english core (301) class 12

                Respected sir/madam

This is to bring to your kind notice that today 2nd march 2019 class 12 had their first final examination that is english core in which there was the discrepancy in question number 11 and question 12. The question paper was set in an incorrect format. There should have been choices in question number 11 and question number 12. According to cbse format question number 11 and question number 12 should have two questions from the novel silas marner and 2 from the invisible man where as in the question paper question 11 has all four questions from silas marnar and question 12 has all four questions from the invisible man therefore it is requested that 6 grace marks should be granted to the students as every school opts for only one novel. Taking this request into consideration kindly look into the matter and do the needful for the best of the students.

                Thanks and regards

It was my english 12th board exam in dps udhampur (2 march 2019). Some ma'am named malika was our invigilator and she started distributing answer sheets, there were two sheets with same number one of which she gave it to me. When the attendance sheet came in which we have to write our sheet numbers, while writing my sheet number, i saw the number prewritten and i queried her. Then she just panicked and told me to hold and not write anything. She called for some higher officials and waited for them for around 20 minutes. Then i got a new sheet and i thought i will be given extra time but i was not. I requested a lot and i couldn't attempt questions worth 20 marks. She ruined my career. Was this suppose to go like this? What is my fault in all this? Now, is there something which can be done?

The question paper dated 2/3/2019 of english didn't have any option in the questions from novels. Question number 11 and 12 are from novels and are mandatory. The question paper of english core (301) should have option in questions from novels as per the blue print, however the actual question paper dated 2/3/2019 had question 11 and question 12 from two different novels and are mandatory.

Students made preparations as per the blue print so, it is requested to you to do need for grace provision during checking to give justice to students.

My son was the deserving person to become headboy but instead the school gave the posts to children of rich and high status people to make better relations with them. He was more deserving and now he is extremely depressed.

I had done my high school from 2131083 ashrafia senior secondary school mahul, azamgarh. Till i was there the school had a good faculty and administration. All was good. Now my younger brothers and sisters do study there i also visit the school during ptms.

I need to acknowledge that there is absence of principal since 5 yrs. There are no number of required and able teachers left there. The whole administration in run by a single faculty. Students do not get any education as there are lot of free periods the whole day. Also none takes responsibility of covering the whole syllabus. Locals from the area work as a teacher for few months.

Also they dont even conduct necessary tests and exams given by cbse as they cannot even complete the syllabus.
The result have been very very poor from last 4-5 years. They dont even let children visit labs, which has been converted into store rooms.

                                    Kindly,
Ensure the proper running of that by all hits and tricks so that students prevailing there meet there desired goal and dont get discouraged from the education system. So that they dont suffer breakdown in career.

                                    Thanks...

Sir,. I would like to talk about one of the major evil in called tution. They cbsc school teacher who are taking tution are not intrested in teaching in school hours, however these teacher are much sincere in their tution centres and they are compelled even blackmailing the student and their parents to join their tution centre or ready for consequence and charge heavy fees which is tottaly wrong. It is interesting to say that in the morning time these students are going for school and after school hour they goes for tution centre to take tution from his/her class teacher. It is there for requested to you please look in to this serious matter and circulate strict instructions to all cbsc school in bathinda (Punjab) specifically convent school teachers to teach seriously in the school and not take tutions or their services will be terminated. Thanks regards.
