The Maths foreign Paper was very tough and was not as per the NCERT material provided to the students. Even one mark questions required lengthy calculations which left us with little time to complete the paper. The questions were not of thehttp://www.ipetitions.com/petition/leniancy-in-correction-for-cbse-maths-grad...⇄ kind which was even once seen by the students as part of grade XII.
Was CBSE trying to prove that the study material provided by them is of no use for exam preparation? Which syllabus should we refer to for CBSE exam preparation.

Lenient and authentic correction is requested.

This is to inform that why you people don't understand that maths paper is given both by science as well as commerce students...so the paper should be standardised so that both commerce as well as science student does not face any problem.
This years maths paper was only favourable to science students and even some science students faced difficulty with the paper. Commerce students faced the main problem because they were not used to this type of paper. Therefore on behalf of commerce students I request you that this time paper checking should be lenient. Not only maths paper our business studies paper was also of the same difficulty level. So it's a sincere request to look into the matter and help us.

The 12 th maths and physics papers of this year were unjustly tough for all students. Last year it was also tough in maths but the cbse board has disregarded the plight of the students and made it doubly tough this year.

The exams have been conducted with no regard to what will happen to the students who write them.
Just making every question tough to comprehend to satisify the egos of the cbse board does not take into account a holistic education system,

instead erodes the confidence of all students, increases suicide rate, burn out rate, discourages any productivity, serves no purpose in future life as all those maths and physics equations are totally useless in the real world.
What does cbse system stand for ..??? making more nuclear scientists to destroy the world faster or better citizens to run this country.???
time to throw it out of the education system.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I am a Parent of 12th Standard CBSE Student, who is very good in studies.

But yesterday's Maths Exam (14/03/2016) was too tough and she is completely broken of her aspirations.

I am afraid of any bad reactions on her part ( I mean suicide of something like that), which we cannot even think. CBSE will be fully responsible for any such consequences.

So, humbly request you to either conduct a Re-Exam (better option) or provide marks for those strange questions (around 75% of total)

This is CBSE's unethical act to torture and kill students, which is quite strange attitude from CBSE.

Don't destroy these students' future.

An examination system is meant to pass a student and not to fail him. With an already inequal valuation of different boards in our state I am not sure how the CBSE students are going to compete with State board students with this kind of question paper. Shows the perverted attitude of the question paper setter. Sure, he has show cased his knowledge and emerged a winner among the innocent and aspiring small children. Kudos to you sir. CBSE and Education Minister. Already this state was rampaged by floods and schools were closed for a month. Now u have given a wonderful question paper and shattered the dreams of many. It is high time you all please look in to the education system as such and introspect.

I am a student from chennai, this year math paper was challenging and lengthy. Being in chennai we also lost around 2month due to floods.Taking all this into consideration cbse should provide a proper solution and safeguard our future.

It must have been really easy for you to just sit and make the paper, without considering that there are still thousands of students who dread maths. Well I'm one of them. But still, to fulfill my dreams, I fought against it all. And the biggest challenge of course is to have the guts to face your fear. I put my best efforts, doing each and every sum from NCERT. Twice, thrice. By the way, isn't NCERT our course book? Then why such discrimination while making the paper? Indeed, you should change your course book to RD Sharma then. At least we would be better prepared and not have false hopes. The paper should have been set keeping in mind that ALL STUDENTS ARE NOT GENIUSES IN MATHS.
Well, how does it matter? The colleges wouldn't ask us if the paper was tough. They want the marks. And my marks are gonna hit rock bottom. You won't ever know, how it psychologically affects a child. And I'm exactly going through that. Already there's a cut throat race, and heavy pressure on us to get good marks. But thanks to you, adding to our pressures and making sure we fail.
This was the heights of indifference towards students. Totally disappointed with CBSE.

Time and again, cbse has failed to understand how important these exams are for us because of the expectations and hopes of students to get into good colleges. Today's maths paper was tricky and 4 markers were as lengthy as the six markers. Ncert is considered as the base for board exams and we are constantly told by our teachers to revise it thoroughly but I couldnt help but notice how there were hardly any questions from ncert. I request cbse to be lenient in the checking of our papers.

Mai Delhi ke reputed public school me 25 saalo se 12th class maths padha rha hu. Meri daughter bhi aaj 12th maths ka paper di h issliye mai teachers aur parents, dono ke behalf pe aapse 3 questions arise kar rha hu..
1. Aap logo ne paper setter ko kis zoo se pakadh ke laya tha ?
2. Kya apke in question paper setters ko unhi ka yahi paper atrandom solve krne diya jaye toh vo kitne % score krenge ?
3. JNU ke Khanaiya aur Umar khalid ne toh desh todhne ki baat ki thi lekin aapke cbse ne toh million of students ke futures ko hi todh diya. Kya Yeh youth ko demolize krne ki conspiracy nhi h ?? Kya aap pe desh dhroh ka mamla nhi banta h ?

HUI BHUL TOH BHUL SUDHARI JATI HAI LEKIN KUTTE PAGAL HO TOH UNHE GOLI BHI MARI JATI HAI

Note : it is the message for all parents from my side - it is not the time to only mail or complain against cbse but also the appropriate time to go in cbse office and say "INQUALAB ZINDA BAAD "

I had appeared in today's maths exam. I was happy before the exam. But when I saw the question paper.. Most of the questions were useless, vague and absurd . I mean aap loge pagal ho kya? Jo aise question paper setter ko le aate ho..? Pichle 3 saal se tum logo ne hum logo ki band baja rakhi h... Yeh 12th ka exam h koi IIT nhi h ki jo mann me aaye questions utha ke de diye.. what is the use of NCERT jab sare questions higher level ke hi dene h. U people had ruined our life. Hum students ka carrier issi board exam pe based h.
To hell with u and your so called 'board exam " !!!

The CBSE math paper was not in the prescribed format. Nor was the question level difficulty in line with what is expected of XII graders.

Most ridiculous paper and board. Never faced this with ICSC.

The 2016 Math Paper was indeed a tough paper. The longest possible sums were given from each chapter, and hence there was no time to even attempt the other sums, all within a duration of 3 hours. After 2 years of slogging with the math portions, CBSE should be considerate enough to have given a maximum of 1 or 2 hard sums, the rest being moderately easy sums. This not only has a negative effect on the students, but also severly demotivates them for the following exams. I have no idea why CBSE would repewat the same mistake from last year, even after receiving a number of complaints from parents and students earlier. CBSE must learn from its mistakes, as it is dealing with the future of the students.

Maths paper was really very tough this time. I would not say that i was not easy to score 80 in this paper but scoring 90 was a big task.
Under so much pressure, when you have to get above 90 somehow, you cant afford to lose a question.
Probablity, linear programming (QUES NO. 20, 25 IN SET 1) had questions which one has never seen. It was surely a tough task to complete the paper with accuravy in the given time.

And what about the students who are planning to go abroad. There people dont see how cbse has made the paper... What they see is WHO HAS GOT 95 PERCENT ABOVE. CBSE has taken away this opportunity from the students by giving such a paper.

What the hell do uh expect from 12thies .. this maths ppr was the worst paper of all.. I was expecting above 90 in this paper and now after giving this kind of paper I don't even have words to say .. infact it was not just a tricky paper moreover it was so lengthy that none of the students could complete it in time .. this paper is surely going to effect our remaining 2 papers .. what the hell do uh expect from us.. first of all uh set quotas then how will the general category will get admission in du.. because of this kind of paper our percentage is surely going to go down .. i expect that the authorities would take a serious action regarding this.
in our paper there was a question which was covering each and ever topic of 3d and the question was a combination of 4 questions .. how can uh expect that the students will complete it on time.. my friends were also in the same condition ..due to stress we were not able to attempt the remaining paper properly.. i request the concerned authorities to look in this matter seriously and i hope my complaint would not fall on deaf ears

CBSE CLASS 12 Maths exam was very tough and it was a very lengthy paper.
Please take necessary actions.Why CBSE is putting such papers and questions for exam.Please do somethhing...!!

The paper, as everyone has already remarked was extremely tough, the whole paper pattern was changed, no fixed mark distribution was followed. After a year of rigorous practice and hard work we expected a paper which an average student could also satisfactorily attempt but this was not the case. Each and every question was time consuming and needed to be thought about. All in all a very difficult and lengthy paper. I hope the Board takes some positive action. Thank you.

This years CBSE maths exam for class 12 was extremely lengthy, tricky and almost 80% of the questions in the paper were indirect and out of the text. On enquiry I found similar response and that most of the students could not complete the paper within the alloted time . Most of my friend from my school and neighbouring schools had left most of the questions left incomplete due to its higher level order. I request CBSE to make the evaluation liberal and give full marks for questions from outside the text and of different pattern from text . Please keep in mindtha these marks are stepping stone to our future and is the core source for our admissions . Hoping that all the students' hardwork would not be left in vain due to the extremely demotivating paper I once again request CBSE to make evaluations liberal

This year's Mathematics paper was the worst one yet.We students found it extremely difficult to answer most of the questions. The questions were of a totally different level and were very difficult to understand. The paper was too lengthy and made for extremely intelligent students. We, above average students, were heartbroken with our performance as we felt that all the effort that we put in for this exam (countless days of toil and sleepless nights) was in vain. We would not like to have our hardwork go to waste.

This pattern of putting high-level questions for the exams can only result in more and more students opting for state syllabuses over cbse. Please do something to help us out of this situation.

The mathematics examination 2016 was like it was made to make students fail and tempt them to opt for other educational boards such as state boards for studies.This system of preparation of question paper will only withdraw students from going for cbse examination. This was an act of injustice done to students which shattered their confidence.

Just heard about the maths exam..
I really dont understand what is cbse trying to prove with this...
I know a lot of friends who studied extremely hard but yet... All in vain.
I do not have maths as a subject but still i know the pain because i had same problem with business.
All the hardwork... All the days and nights spent studying it...
I understand that it is necessary not to ask exact same question.. twist it a BIT, which will promote concept studying rather than just memorizing...
But it is the duty of cbse to not make it that tough and twisted which even leave the teachers confused...
What do you think will happen to us then...?
It is necessary to understand and learn but is it do you really think that paper that was set for business would prove who understood the concept ...
I really dont think many students will understand the questions that were asked...
To be honest.. If this goes on nobody will prefer cbse...
Where all the hard work you do goes to vain because of the questions asked...
