Set three of CBSE 10th Maths in Southern India was very difficult and lengthy. Some of the questions were tricky and could not even attempt those questions. Why CBSE always makes maths questions very difficult.

More over those week students who opted school based exam got very simple questions and they would overtake the genius students who dared to face the board exam. This creates an inequality in students community and they have to bear this low marks through out their life.

Hence please make the valuation liberal or give double up-gradation in maths paper, for those students who might lose 10/10 only because of their weak performance in maths.
    performance in maths.

Hatsoff to cbse board. We appreciate you for destroying our future .Continue doing it . First with maths and then with accountacy paper . Dont you think the death rate has increased because of you? Well i think they are not suicides but murders. Accountacy paper was so difficult and lengthy that even 4 hours would be less to solve it. After studying whole year with dedication and thinking of getting highest marks in accountacy is now just a dream for every student . We solved every sample paper but as and when we saw the accounts paper ee were in shock . We had enough of it . We want atleast 10-15% as grace marks.. If not we will show the student power

I would just like to ask CBSE one question - why are you playing with our future ...I mean you set paper in a whole new pattern without even informing schools and then expect us to score good marks ...I mean not all students belong to 90% category ...u people set paper which is tough as well as lengthy ...how can you expect us to score well then ...not all students want to do IIT ...the questions given in ncert and the questions in the paper are way different ...either lower down the question paper level or upgarde your ncert syllabus ...according to me retest should be conducted and we should get a fair chance to improve our result
        Sincerely
        Student belonging to 70% category

The accounts paper for 12 CBSE was very tough and the time provided was really less. I usually get 70% but I am expecting 45% I hope the checking will be lenient and I can score around 60% at least. Please do take this in consideration.
          Thank you.

            From
            Resmi Anil
Parent of Navneeta Anil of 12th Science student from Trivandrum

            Sir,
I write to request you to allot liberalised valuation scheme for 12th exams especially for science subjects, since a lot of out of syllabus tough questions appeared on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Question Papers. Also, please note that Universities have decided to give normalization to the respective State Boards, especially University of Kerala, which will worsen the situation- CBSE students will not get admission to Degree programmes in their states, even after scoring very high marks. State Boards are now implementing liberalaized valuation scheme and hence even average students are scoring very high marks.
Kindly look into the matter and do the needful.

            Yours faithfully,

            Resmi Anil

I would like to draw the attention of concerning authority about the level of accountancy paper of 12th cbse board. Questions were very lengthy as we are not able to finish them in the given period. This is not my individual complaint but the felling of mass. If the sincere authority will have a look on the papers they also feel the papers were tough and even the meritorious and extra brilliant students were not able to touch the total questions. And all these wil hamper our result and make our future black. This is nothing but simply a big question mark that the cbse is playing with the future of the students. I personally felt that this is an underirable event for students and a demoralizing step of cbse towars the mental status of the students. I know that in reply of my comment i ll get the answer that 'try to improve your level' but this is not the answer that we students want. Just think with cool mind that how many students are brilliant and extraordinary that u are focusing on the questions to judge them without even a second thought of the weak and average students. I strongly condemned this act of cbse and i must say that the norms of cbse was not followed in the question paper of the number of simple, average and tough questions.
So, on behalf of the my colleagues i request the authority to adopt the remidial step to overcome the harmful effect of this act in the way to liberal checking or the grace whatever you think the best. And also request not to repeat this kind of act in the remaining papers of both the commerce, arts and science stream.
As u have no idea what kind of pressure it creates on the mind of students it is simply a demorlising act and must say that if these will be repeat in future then students have to thing about moving towards the state boards.

                  17/March/2016
The accountancy exam was ridiculously lengthy. i hope you'd have already understood the difficulties seeing the requests of students.
I started with part B and was able to complete it in an hour. But when i started with part A, i couldn't understand how fast time was running by.There were large number of journal entries and calculations were really tough.
Please consider the fact that we are not allowed to use a calculator.
Completing the paper in 3 hours is impossible.Even the brightest students were unable to attend questions which carry 20-25 marks.
please understand that we are not machines to do this whole job just in 3 hours.
for a commerce student, lot of time is wasted, drawing tables and journals.
In addition to that providing such kind of questions with tough calculation adds to the miseries.
its the dream of a 12th grader to score good marks as thats what would make his/her future. We couldnt complete questions fully and had to jump to the next ones as we were sure that we wouldnt be able to make it up atleast to the half of it.
                  there were few errors too
                  1. set 2 question number 12 it starts from vivek and vikas and as the question goes it turns to vikas and vivek.might be a simple thing to hear. But the whole sum went wrong because of that. and its rightly provided in the hindi section.
                  2. part B analysis of financial statements question number 23. for current investments it is given to refer note number 7 in the notes to account. but in the next page note number 7 shows inventories. please in addition to this lack of time dont do this to us
students who have worked really hard feels cheated.
we got no time to do the part A.and we couldn't think properly out of nervousness.
please consider our problems and provide grace marks or be lenient in correction.

The paper was easy but lengthy. Most of the students could not attempt all the question and are depressed. cbse should understand that we student have to compete with other board (student) for admission
after MATHS paper ACCOUNTANCY was our only hope to score but now we are hope less

                      Sir/Madam,

CBSE has always been student friendly. Taking this point I request Board to give grace marks. If a student touch around 85 marks to 90 marks I request to give grace marks so that he/she scores in the range of 95-100. For this assertion the reason is : By analysis the question paper especially of AJMER REGION it could be firmly claimed that a student scoring 85-90 marks in this exam would have scored 100 marks if question paper was like earlier ones.

There may be hundreds of students getting 100 marks even in this exam, we should not forget that exception cases are always there.

                      Yours Sincerely

Instead of tough we can say that it was lengthy that such an extraordinary student can complete this paper!!!
This paper was OK if we were given calculators!!!but in this case we really deserve consideration... Please do have a liberal checking considering the fact that 97% of students were unable to complete...!!!

Respected cbse authorities pay your attention to accountancy subject. As question paper was lengthy we are not able to solve the problems efficiently. Heavy calculations, some tricky questions are the reason for which we are unable to complete. I request you to be kind enough to give grace marks or re-conduct the examination.

Cbse Director Saheb. Why are u playing with children career? Delhi Univ %is high. Outsiders come with high %. I teach in Delhi univ, my ward comes in range of 95-96%. Maths paper was disastrous, Accs paper was lengthy tough and needed lot of thinking and time consuming calculation. Not a single quest was direct. 8 marker needs16 mts but students took 25 to 28 mts. Paper setter should sit for 3hrs n then set the Question paper. Due to this reason student messed their other section and could not complete their paper and left 20-25 paper or almost incomplete.this complain is of most of the students, teachers and my Accs colleagues. Cbse papers cater to 85-90% of average students 10% is for above average which draws the line between the average n intelligent students. You have to be lenient in marking and even give grace marks. Let our children believe in Cbse our education system. They should not say after every paper Hai hai CBSE.

So, on behalf of the my colleagues i request the authority to adopt the remidial step to overcome the harmful effect of this act in the way to liberal checking or the grace whatever who think the best. And also request not to repeat this kind of act in the remaining papers of both the commerce, arts and science stream.
As u have no idea what kind of pressure it creates on the mind of students it is simply a demorlising act and must say that if these will be repeat in future then students have to thing about moving towards the state boards.

CBSE ...what do u want from us..this much lengthy and difficult paper...and that too with such long calculations without using a calculator..how can it be done????..., Almost 90% of students left approx 15 Marks paper...I really feel bad to be one of them..I was quite hopefully with my accounts paper as I really prepared well and solved the paper in time...but when a person sees such a lengthy paper he would panic...and I did. Pls RE CONDUCT OR GIVE AT LEAST 10-15 GRACE MARKS... Ourr future stands on this result pls try to understand...:( ...this paper ruined my hopes with my result.. Pls give remedial measures to accounts students also as given to maths students... We will be Really Thankfull to you. ...And pls compensate our loss by giving an easy Economics paper...else our future will be ruined.Pls take an action sir.. Really disappointed with Accounts exam as the sample itself was not lengthy and this much difficult...pls do something.

I m a student of class 12 cbse. i could finish the maths paper but i was in so hurry that i made many calculation mistakes in lpp some other questions which i realized after reaching home. I used L'Hospitals rule in the continuity and differentiablity because of lack of time.L'Hospitals rule is not taught in cbse but it a basic concept which makes sums including limits very easy.In that hurry it was the first thing that clicked my mind and i used it. it is not wrong concept wise but not taught in cbse. In the rush to complete paper i made mistakes in the easy questions and did all the hard questions before hand only. So i want a re-examination as 6 marks questions were given for four marks and the 6 marks questions were very lengthy. Further i would like to know whether marks will be deducted for using concepts which are not taught in cbse but are used very frequently.
