Respected sir,
My daughter is studying in a cbse school in the thiruvananthapuram. It is brought to your kind notice the science and mathematics examination of the 10th class board examination was very tough. I would like to mention the details of one of the out of syllabus (Ncert ) questions asked for mathematics examination held on 19-march-2016, in set 3 question paper the 22nd question "the houses in a row are numbered consecutively from 1 to 49. ..." is taken from the out of syllabus questions in the ncert book page no. 115, exercise no.5.4, question no.4 specifically remarked as " these exercises not from examination point of view". Hence it is once again requested that the students may be awarded full marks for these out of syllabus questions and the valuation may be made liberal. Hoping a favourable action from your side. Why different questions are present in different sets.questions no.may change but difficulty of question should not change
one student got set 1 THE difficult one and others sets include questions from ncert not all but more than set1 . Why this partiality with some student
Because of them we have to suffer with the result...

10 th maths exam which was held on 19/03/2016 was very tough. The asked questions are twisting and indirect. Particularly section D was very complicative and calculative so the students find it very difficult to finish in time. So as a parents humbly request on behalf of the students to give a grace mark or liberal valuation or re exam.

The Exam Held On 19th March for CBSE 10 was very disapointing.
Question which were from OPTIONAL EXERCISE, which are considered as Not For Examination Point Of View were asked, Also paper was really very tough. Even the Top Ranking student found it difficult.And most of Students were unable to complete paper in 3 hours as it was just too lengthy.And Question From 1st Term were asked which were difficult to remember.So I hope GRACE marks and LENIENT checking is done.

Respected sir/ ma'am
This is with reference to the political science paper held on 18th March 2016, question 3 of set number 3 had a mis print instead of Berlin wall it said Berlin war which completely changed the meaning and kept us in confusion.
Marks should be awarded for the question as it was cbse's mistake and not ours and we didn't have enough time to read the question in Hindi as medium of answering was in English.
I hope my request is considered

Dear sir/ma'am,
The accounts paper was found to be very lengthy. Also There were questions that were not rightly formed .The calculations were very difficult ! Most of the answers had non reccuring decimal extensions ! We barely had time to complete section B ! We had to spend lot of time to complete one mark questions ! Iam depressed so as my friends ! Our mark decides our future ! I hope CBSE would take some actions against this ! we want grace marks ! The toppers of our class cudn't perform well for the exam ! Then just think about the average students! I hope all these complaints will surely make you rethink and take neccessay actions !

CBSC has conducted an exam of mathmatics on 19th March 2016. Pupils followed book provided by CBSC boaed. There were some of the questions which were provided as " Not for Examination Purpose" in the books where as in question paper total 14 marks questions were given which were marked and printed under catagory " not for Examination purpose". Why this has happened? If CBSC board repeated question from the catagory not for examination purpose catagory. This is unfare from CBSC board and injustice to the pupils.If board wanted to give these questions then why they are under the catagory" Not for Examination purpose".This is a himalayan blunder from CBSC. They should ive full marks to the students against these questions.

CBSC board class X mathematics book have marked some of the questions in books as " Not for Examination purpose" but total 14 marks questions were from this category in the examination from this category. It is a pure negelence and irrelevent affair from CBSC board.

Our maths question paper was quit difficult especially the section D...which hold 4marks..for each..
And even the set system...each gets some other set of question...so the section D had to be easy...but it was difficult(the board exam)

The exam conducted on 19th of march was highly disappointing .Questions which were behind the exercise and were mentioned NOT FROM EXAMINATION POINT OF VIEW was asked. Also questions regarding 1st term were asked which were difficult to remember.The paper was really difficult for even the intelligent ones in maths.The same mistake with 12th was repeated with us . I hope grace marks and lenient checking is done .

CBSE shouls reconduct the mathematics paper as grace marking it not at all a fair option. If CBSE every time want to give evaluation by providing grace marking the why the hell exams are taken. Moreover board should also need to think about the percentage drop all the students going face and thus it is also resulting in low ranks for students appearing in JEE MAINS and no doubt, the students who study under state board will get higher ranks which is unfair on the part of students studying under cbse board.

Hi...this is Praharsh Singh speaking from Tehran, Iran. I'm studying in kendriya vidyalaya tehran. I have been posted here for 2 years now. Just wanted to highlight the issue that the maths paper setup for the foreign vidyalayas was very hard. Our classmates were very annoyed and upset. According to our maths teacher the questions setup were similar to that if the concepts taught in class 11 and 12. This exam will affect our grading and thus our future too!! Cbse setup a very trouble some paper for 12 th class. They did the same for us. I was hoping for 10 cgpa but due to this exam my result will go down. The questions setup for our class previous year was very easy. But I don't know why they setup such a paper for us this year. I hope that you highlight this issue such that the students living in foreign countries can be relieved.

The difficulty level of majority of questions was very high.
Even top ranking students found it difficult to attend the questions.
One could hardly complete the paper within 3 hours.
In fact, this year's question seems to be the most difficult among the last 5 years.
Kindly address these issues during valuation.

This complaint is filed against SA 2 mathematics exam of class 10 conducted on 19/03/2016.The exam was too lengthy. It was not possible to complete it in 3 hours.There were many question that were not much related to the topics given in the syllabus.There were many difficult questions that was of not our level.The questions were very hard to understand.
kindly make the checking of the SA 2 mathematics paper of class[protected] more liberal .

The cbse10 maths was very difficult and lengthy. All the questions were hots and most of them were tricky. Q.No.26 code no.30/2, set no:2 was asked from optional exercise 5.4 Pg no:115and it is mentioned in the text that'these exercise are not from examination point of view.these are to be considered for valuation.

10th class board maths paper was not according to the marking scheme. Q-27 code(30/1) set 1 was from optional exercise whereas in the book, it was mentioned that it is not not from the examinational point of view, so, grace marks of this question should be given. Question paper was also very lenthgy . 2 marks questions were given in 1 mark and 4 marks questions took a lot of time. 3 hours were not sufficient for such a question paper. Paper was not completed at time. On the whole, paper was extremely difficult.So, lenient marking should be done .

This year paper was very lengthy and some questions were from optional exercise and if questions from optional exercise has to be put so why it is written in the ncert book that this exercise is not from examination point of view .
and the paper was not according to marking scheme . it was just very difficult and section D was just very confusing . it cntained such question which we had never even seen before
plzz we should get linient marking and grace marks. its a request.

Its our humble request to the cbse department that please re-conduct the mathematics examination 2016 held on 14 march
As the paper was too difficult contain tricky and hots question and was very very lengthy therefore we were not able to complete the whole paper in the time limit even some questions remain unattempted.
Lenient marking can't do anything in this matter as many of questions remain unattempted.
Even many of the questions were leaked the day before exam. It will be totally unfare for us if the paper will not cancelled bcoz those who gets the questions that came in exam will score good marks even in this type of difficult and lengthy paper.
So please reconduct the examination as it is the matter of our future.
Please take the neccesary action as soon as possible considering the fact that it will effect the our future.

The maths paper for class 10 was too long. Even the 2 and 3 marks question required a whole page to solve.. Also cbse must look into the matter that a question ( q.26) from paper( code no.30/2 set no.2) was asked from the optional exercise of arithmetic progression in ncert and it was clearly mentioned at the bottom of the page that these exercises are not from the examination point of view.. Cbse should give full marks(4 marks) for that question..
