I visited Cinepolis Unity One Mall Rohini with my aged father on 15 September 2026 for the 07:40 PM show.
Before the movie, my elderly father needed drinking water. The only water source was a foot-operated fountain dispenser which he physically cannot use. I asked the food counter for a glass of water. They gave me a tiny paper dip katori - the kind used for sauces. When I pointed out this is impractical for drinking water, they said they're out of glasses - despite soft drink glasses being clearly visible at the counter.
When I insisted they find a solution, a food counter staff member started misbehaving - aggressively pointing fingers at me and using extremely rude and threatening language, telling me not to mess with him.
I called for the manager. He took 5 minutes to arrive, stood there passively while the staff member continued being rude in his presence, and did absolutely nothing - no apology, no action, no resolution. When I said I'll escalate this, the manager casually said "Okay sure, do whatever you want."
I've already emailed Cinepolis with full details, staff names, and ticket proof. Filing on the National Consumer Helpline and eDaakhil as well. Denying an elderly person a glass of water and then verbally abusing their family — shameful for a premium multiplex. Was this information helpful? |
