My opinion is, if somebody won a gift or award from another country. That company definitely connects with the subsidiary or related company & then they must handover the gift with them inviting to their company premise, not individually.. I think this team do this giving a bad image to your company. If they want clearance charges they can reduce cash from award.
The reason is to give my opinion like this, people read that kind of complaints & they can secure from this kind of threats...
