[Resolved]  Air Ticket — Cancellation Refund

Hi All,

I have booked an Air ticket for Dubai thru Cleartrip travel on 20th March 2013 and the departure date was of 04th-Apr-2013 flight was Air India. Unfortunately the flight was cancelled and I was not informed, prior a day of depature I called up to check if things are fine, Cleartrip confirmed the flight was cancelled and they were giving different option I said I am no comfortable with the options, want to cancel the ticket, Cleartrip asked to call in Air India for cancellation. Air India said visit out office at Marinedrives at Kulaba. The lady at the fornt desk said you will be charged for cancellation and i:e 3,000rs, I was not happy with the charges than again I called up AIr India, after a long discussion with one of the associate (Naseem) with Air India was able to help me and said you are eligable for full refund. She said I cancelled your ticket but for refund you need to check with Cleartrip bcz they booked the ticket, I said okay, on 02nd Apr I called up to get the refund, a lady named (Supriya) assured me you will get the refund in next 5 - 7 working days. After 5 days I recived a all from Cleartrip and he was (Chirag) stating if you need a refund you need to get an ANDOSMENT LETTER and STAMP from International Airport I said okay. I went there very next day, They gave me a copy in which it was clearly mentioned Customer is eligable for full refund, I called up stating I recived a copy of letter but no stamp, Chirag asked to go visit domestic Airport to get the stamp finally I travelled from International to Domestic Airport and got the stamp on the letter and emailed it to ([protected]@cleartrip.com). I called up again and Chirag said you will have to wait for 48 hours will get a confirmation on date when will you get the refund. I didn't recived any call after 3 days I called in to chk they said you will get the refund in next 5- 7 working days on 10th Apr. Again on 17th Apr Chirag said it will take more 48 hours, He said it will take another 5- 7 days, than I started chking with his superviosr Pritam he said last 5- 7 days you will get the refund. on 24th Pretam called and said transcation is passed and you will get it in 9-4 days. I asked for the transaction ID he said to get it give me 48hours I said okay, Pritam never called me I called him and asked him for the trancsation ID. He said their was some problem due to which the transcation couldn't go thu, I asked him to ask his manager to call me, he said he will arrange his manager (Joseph ) calling me at 07:00PM no one called, so I called in at 08:00PM . I told him the whole story, He said we will get it on Mon 29th Apr.

While making payment for the ticket it didn;t even took a minute to go thr in Cleartrips account. To get the same money back, I am been harassed from the day of cancellation that is from 2nd Apr 2013. This is completely unethical bussiness running strategy.
Please have this addressed so someone else like me must not suffer thru all these situation.
