[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel Customer care professionals are abusing/manhandling

Im Geethapriya, My mobile number is [protected]. Im using airtel network for past three years. Last year i 've purchased a mobile and activated 3G in my mobile which was free for 3 months time since activation. But the Airtel had provided me only two months free internet services and added internet chages for the 3rd month in the bill. I have immdiately mailed a compliaint to customerserice for waiver of the internet charges added for the 3rd month. They have assured over phone for the waiver but dint not respond in mail. Fed up with the issue, with mental agony i have lodged a complaint in consumer court and recived a call 4 months back from Mr Alexander, Legal department, Airtel and was asked to settle the remaining dues Rs.3000/- as OTS and he has assured me to send a closure of the account with an agreement copy. On his request, we have paid Rs.3000/- immediately. But Mr. Alexander did not send any mail. Presuming that the account was closed, i have changed the network. But iam receving monthly bill with huge bill amount for non usage. You can verify the bill, i have not used the network at all. Today im getting calls from legal department, Airtel. Few people are using harsh words, abusing a professional like me to pay the money. This leads to mental agony and pressure.

Iam fed up with the issue. I cant pay penny more to this cheaters. Let the network do what ever they want. I only want my account to be closed. Iam consulting my advocate for legal action against those who tortured me. Alexander, Johnson, a lady from this number [protected] and Airtel.

Airtel — Terribly Non Professionals

I have a couple of AirTel post paid connections, plus a pre paid one. These people have shabby, very limited, far flung, and badly equipped offices even in a state capital. You have to commute long for making your payments. For the third time they have disconnected my services on non payment of very minor dues (less than Rs. 500.00) which had in fact been deposited much before the due date. They have recently closed one of their local office, where lots of cheques are reported to be lying on their drop boxes, which, unfortunately they do not seem to bother. More than a couple of years back, I had applied for an AirTel broadband connection, which, has still not been made available to me, even after depositing the requisite amount. Ther's still more bitter experience with this servive provider. Prior to leaving station for a week, I paid Rs.500.00 ( a security deposit/activation fee applicable earlier) towards roaming charges, filled an application form, but forgot to take the reciept. The roaming never got activated and after returning back home I was curtly told that the roaming could not be activated as I had not paid Rs. 500.00. Once I paid my bills via Credit card and again got into trouble.
My sincere advice - Go for a better service.

Such abuse of mobile services must be taken very serious note by the mobile service providers, and should help the abused and cheated and police. so that the rampany cheatings and frauds are detected, and culprits booked

I am one Mr Senadheera who works as a lecturer in sri Lanka and I was using Airtel Broadband package and there was a problem due to signal.I made a complaint but it was not Ok. however One of your employee has given me (19th September'2011) a call today and at that moment I was driving and asked him to call me later but he used some harsh words talked like an uneducated person.Is this the way that you use to treat your cutomer? I was very upset the way he(male) talks , he gave me the call from the number[protected] at 3.02 p.m. I am a MBA holder at Sri J'pura university and reading for my PHD. I was busy and couldn't pay the bill. If you talk like this to customers it will damage the image of the company.I haven't seen any other organization talk like this to a cutomer.please be kind enough to take an action regarding the relevant party.
