[Resolved]  Airtel — Bad SLA / escalation matrix

Hi Team / All,

This is with regards to the issue which we are facing for the past 24 hrs. We have been calling various people and talking to multiple executives in airtel to get this problem rectified but nothing is working. Each time I call and ask for the next level of escalation, I don’t get a proper response. The executives are not willing to send any sort of e-mail response about the problem and not even ready to share contacts details for the next level of escalation.

The PRI line which we have is the primary number and all incoming calls would land on this number. This is down for more than 24 hrs now without any estimated time for rectification nor an SLA for this issue .

It’s an shame that Bharthi Airtel does not have a proper escalation matrix nor proper response to the customers. During my conversations with one of the executives at the Customer Care[protected] I was requesting for an e-mail confirmation from Airtel about the outage to which he replied they don’t have the facility to send an e-mail about the outage and only after the issue is resolved they can send it. When I told him that verbal confirmation is not acceptable he told that he would send his executive who is working on this issue to my door step to explain the issue to me ( Does this mean that I need to take this guy to my Management and explain them about this issue / And take the same guy to my US office and explain them about this issue ? ).
For any e-mail sent about this issue Airtel would take 8 hrs to reply back and for the executive to send an e-mail about this issue it would take 48 Hrs ? Is this the SLA for the PRI’s line which we use has an pilot number? We have been with Airtel for more than 6 - 7 years now and it’s very disappointing to have such service for one of the esteem customer . Not only with this issue if you see my e-mail chain below I have been requesting to know who is handling the GXS account from Airtel end and I haven’t been got any proper reply nor updates on this request ?

We have the same issues with the corporate SIM connection too not getting any proper response to any of the issue addressed ( It might be with Billing / Services ).

Hope some responsible executive at this stage at least wakes up and response to is customer ASAP.

AirTel — Horrible response From customer care

I got a new number from airtel 95 series...I have not got any incoming calls from BSNL...I have raised complaint to them about this...But they don't care about this and they just telling you can go to court evenand we 're not going to do anything for this.

Airtel Prepaid — bad network service call transmitting problem

I am a customer of airtel prepaid, but every day i faceed so many wrong no call .exam one person wanted to call delhi he dial right no, but call given to my no.every day i received 3 call on avaragely.This is A MISMANEGMENT AND WRONG NETWARKING.

Airtel Broadband — Lack of proper service

I am a customer of this product for long time in Kolkata Region, but several time I face the problem of sudden disconnection.I am not sure whether I could be able to perform my job in Internet or not as there is no surety of its presence.
I have complaint about it in the nearby helpline number but there is no permanent solution.They are just taking the money and not providing proper service.

So finally am submitting the complaint in order to get some suitable assistance from you.

I am able to talk with others thru my mobile from last 2 days. At first I thought that my mobile is not working properly. So, I have contacted to your Dealer Shop. They told me sum old Airtel Sim is giving some prolem. Now I am facing the problem is when I receive a call I do not hear the voice of caller. And also when I call to other, the receiver does not hear my voice. Some time it's going fine but maximum time is facing the same. Lastly I have also contacted to you Customer Care Unit. But they are not able to give the perfect solution. They have note it down my address only.

So. please look into the matter urgently and oblige me.

Airtel Broadband — not received proper service

Dear Manager of Airtel Broadband Service
Sir/Maam,
I ordered for a vifi broadband connection in Jalandhar on the name of Mr. Prince Arora but my connection has not been put up.
On the 10 oct 2009 i paid a cheque of Rs 3000 to him fom Obc New Railway Road but i didnt get my connection done.
Also i got to talk to Mr.Nandathe branch head of airtel Jalandhar on 13 oct 2009 where he promised me again for my connection to be done by the day ends but again there was no response from him.Alao he told me that he would give me ring but till date i havent received any call from him.
Also then i got to talk to Ms.Pooja Gupta from your Lajpat Nagar Office about my connection and she assured me that it would be done within a day.

Please give me a valid reson for your behaviour. I have been using Airtel since so many years as my mobile number and never expected such irresponsible behaviour from you.

1. I HAD RECEIVED A SMS FORM 54321 AT AROUND 3 AM ON 23TH FEB, 2010 SAYING THAT THE AMOUNT OF RS 99 WAS DEDUCDED FOR SOME GAME.
2. I TRIED OUT TO CALL CUSTOMER CARE BUT FOUND THAT IT WAS INACTIVE.
I REPEATEDLY TRIED TO CALL 121 SERVICE BUT THE ANSWER WAS SAME.
3. NO COMPLIAN NUMBER GIVEN SAME DAY, I VISITED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE IN CHAKALA, A LADY ASSITED ME, AND CALL CUSTOMER CARE WERE IN A LADY ANSWER THE CALLED TOLD ME THAT IT WAS DEDUCTED FOR SOME GAME. ON ASKING FOR THE COMPLAIN NO .SHE DID NOT GIVE FOR THE SAME, ON FURTHER ARGUMENT SHE GAVE ME THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS AND PHONE NO [protected] (CHERYL, SOME MANAGER), BHARATI AIRTEL, 7TH FLOOR INTERFACE BUILDING NO 7, LINKING ROAD MALAD, MUMBAI 64. AND SAID HE WILL GIVE THE COMPLIAN NUMBER
4. ON CALLING ON THE NO. ITS WAS SWITCH OFF.
5. AGAIN THE SAME LADY CONNECT ME TO SOME HELP LINE NUMBER, WERE IN THE GENTLE MAN ASK ME ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND GAVE ME THE COMPLIAN NO.

AIRTEL IS NOT AT ALL PROVIDING THE SERVICE AS PER STANDARDS SET BY OTHER SERVICE PROVIER .

Airtel / Post-paid Mobile — Verbal assault by customer care

Hello,
I am extremely feed up of Airtel service for my number[protected]. Below are the details:

1. I had paid my bill before due dates regularly, but two months payments were not reflected on your side although the payments did reflect on your website. Because of this my phone was disconnected for over a month with no fault of mine. Eventually, Airtel investigated found their mistake and corrected the problem. However, I was billed for the 1 month when my phone was not connected with no fault of mine and I had to get another number. After repeated requests, this was not looked at and finally just ignored by customer care by email and by phone.

2. This phone like was initially a corporate number. Mr. Hussain from Airtel had come to my office when I was converting it to a personal number. As part of the forms and documentation, he also took Rs. 500 from me as deposit. Today when I went to Airtel office in Madhapur, Hyderabad; I was told that there is no deposit on this number. It looks like either Airtel system has a problem or the Airtel personnel Mr. Hussain has pocketed the Rs.500/-.

3. Today when I went to close this phone number, I was so fed-up that I was willing to pay whatever was outstanding and just end this relationship with Airtel. I paid a total of Rs. 947/- which included the 1 month of disconnectivity and no inclusion of Rs. 500/- paid by me to your personnel. I was still fine. But when I asked the customer care person (I could not get his name because he was not wearing a name plate) dealing with post-paid connections to write on the receipt that this phone has been disconnected as of 12.06.2010, he wrote "as of today". When I repeatedly asked him to write the date, he got extreme rude and started raising his voice and shouted. This was very embarrassing and disgraceful. At this point Mr. Nagesh from the same office came to my rescue and entered the date on the receipt.

This is extremely disgraceful for an organization like Bharati Airtel and I will be reporting it to consumer representatives and Time of India customer issues department. I am very glad that my association with Airtel is now over and will not be resorting to any relationship with your company moving forward.

My intention is only to bring to light the occurrences and the harassment that I have gone through. I have already for gone Rs. 500 + Rs. 349 of my money which I was not supposed to pay.

Airtel — not satisfied with the executive

My name is Ragib and i am the customer of airtel
they had deducted 187 rupees from my account
when i had made a call to the customer executive they mislead us with different statement
and at last they are not transferring my call to customer care
It is disgusting

My mobile no:[protected], in which SMS pack of VOICE DEVOTION Alerts from 54321 has been activated at your end without customer permission & against that charges has been deducted from my Prepaid amount balance. This has not been activated by me.

When I have given a complain in customer care then the person told me that this facility had been activated by customer request & told that he will deactivate the same with my request but refuse to register my complain. This type of case has happened not only with me but the same case has happened in mobile no: [protected], in this number balnce was deducted thrice from 22nd Jul'2010 to 6th August. This was Similar with mine, in this case also complain was not registered.

Previously my experience with Airtel was good but now after having teleconversation in your customer care, I feel a very bitter. Now, Airtel started to earn by choosing fraud way & appointed such persons in customer care that they directly refuses to accept & register the customer complain. If Airtel carry on the same way of earning, very soon "AIRTEL" will dissolve & the name will disappear forever

AirTel — broadband and mobile bills

Hello Airtel,

My Account ID for broadband for billed month of march : 13756056

My Account ID for mobile :[protected]

I am your customer for last 3 years.

I am receiving no bills ( either email or paper bills) for last four months. Needless to say, My airtel broadband bills (fixed landline) were over the usage and I am getting some sms saying I need to pay within 15th. My usual billing due date 17th of each month for last two years.

I had called your customer care service on 13th to know this but there is no response. The phone just gets disconnected. ( Although you charge for your service on this).

Seeing this I verified my mobile bill for this month and I see I had been charged 30RS for single sms with single pulse in miscelleneous section. When I see in my outbox I never sent such message.I need proper explaination for all these.

Airtel/Prepaid — Not getting proper response from cse

Dear Sir,
I am using airtel M-check facility to recharge my mobile no [protected], normally it got recharged within seconds but on 13 may 2011 I recharged the same but I didn't get the balance. I contacted the no 198 on 14 may 2011 (7:50 am) for complain but did not received the proper response they even not know their facility properly and they disconnected the call while asking for their superior.

I am really sorry to say that I am note satisfied with the services provided by Airtel. I am having Airtel digital tv which is not working from last four days I have called customer care so many times at least 10 times in a day, they just registerd my complain and tell that the problem will be rectified in 2 hour or 4 hours but nothing happened, the same thing is happening again and again whenever I call to customer care, they even don't show the interest to help the customers. Sometimes they gave me the mobile number to contact to the technical engineer but I found those numbers not working, If we ask them to connect my call to their seniors they just disconnect the call or ask me to hold and no answer after that, After causing me all harassment and a lot of pain, and by making almost 40 calls, speaking and explaining my situation each and every time to at least 20 different customer advisors, 6 team leaders but nothing has happened.

Please look into the matter if you can help me atleast.

Sorry for late response. I would like to know what is resolution airtel provided so that everyone can come to know the solution. The latest I heard from airtel representative is legal notice to be issued.

Please put your resolution details on board so that everyone can come to know. I have paid internet bills during technical failures but I can't pay for bills of non-technical failures like not sending bills or providing adequate service.

We are based out of Bangalore. Signed up with Airtel for data services. It's been 4 weeks, past the commitment/deadline. Multiple escalation to Mr. Satish Sangay - no effective resolution. Each tome a new person is assigned, who stops responding.

I am extremely dissatisfied with airtel services. A commitment is never met.
