[Resolved]  Airtel — Beware while Recharging Prepaid Online. You don't get any refund!

Hello,
I made a 3G Recharge on my Airtel number(9/4/2013) using NetBanking as my 3G Balance was low and was about to Expire(on 10/4/2013). Everything was going well till I Finished my Payment and all of a sudden a Message Pops up which says "Recharge Failed". Checked my Bank Statement and the transaction was successfully made. So called their customer care. And a guy received on the other side. So I stated my problem and When I asked for my Refund, he said it CANNOT be done. So I asked him if he can update the 3G balance for the same amount and this is what i get in return "ANY RECHARGE ON 3G BEFORE THE SERVICE TERMINATES IS A VOID".

I have made several Recharges like this on Reliance and Docomo and what they do is Add the new balance to Old or at-least update the new Balance clearing the old balance.


And here I was thinking Airtel has finally moved on from the "Scamming/Robbing its customers", Maybe I was expecting too much!?

Got a Message regarding the Refund will be done in 4 Days.

I'd have appreciated if the guy on the call said "Your money will be refunded" when I asked for it, instead of saying "we cant help and your money is gone".
