Airtel — billing related problem

Dear Sir,

I subscribed for Your Airtel Broad Band Connection -555 Plan on 29th July. It ensured me to provide 2 G.B in a month.
The problem is I am not at all satisfied with the billing criteria, because it doesn't dispaly the information rearding my total Downloads till date.
I havent done much of downloading, and the billing shows much higher amount than expected.

so I will request you to kindly look into the matter as soon as possible.

i have taken airtel usb data wireless modem wich made me pay 2999 for the modem and 599 for the sim and 399 according to my monthly plan advance rental...but while selling me the usb i was not given any reciept nor told or informed that the usb under any circumstances would change even if it doesnt work neither does any and i mean any airtel rep knows even to show how it is being used b'coz they themselves dont know how and what about it?i took the connection on 2 nd august 2008and ever since i have been only complaining but in vain 1:they alloted the same nbr to someone else 2nd they didntinform me and when they alloted me new number it just didnt work since then i m only visiting or continuosly calling airtel but no response i m really ashamed of my self for going for an airtel connection which has a distrasous service

On August 7th, 2008 my brother used the Mchek service on Airtel and paid my mobile bill using correct keyword, but the bill got credited to his own account, but he is an employee of TCS, New Delhi using CUG connection and the office pays his bill every month. It was a mistake from Airtel side regarding payment of bill. Since 20 days I have been calling Airtel and raised several complaints regarding this but no action has been taken. My bill last month was Rs 788 and my brother paid Rs 1000 using his Citibank Credit Card. He got an instant receipt confirming the payment, but I did not recieve the payment, so I called Airtel Customer Care here in AP and requested to look into this matter, but they have failed to do so. I am receiving messages and calls from Airtel to pay my bill soon or my outgoing facility will be barred. I paid my bill 7 days before the due date, but I am facing these problem. Whenever I call Airtel, they hold me at least for 10 minutes and tell me that a new complaint has been raised in this regard and we will solve the problem soon and to be patient. I request the Airtel to clear the amount into my account or refund the amount through cheque or cash to my brother who stays in New Delhi .



I don’t know what all is happening in Airtel services. The television commercials featuring Film stars popular celebrities etc and promotional messages from Airtel are waste of valuable time and money of the customers. I request all the customers of Airtel to be careful while using these services from Airtel. They are promoting the service, but don’t know what problems customers have after using these services.





I have recorded all the calls, messages, and feedback calls of Airtel and I will provide them when needed. I spoke with customer care at least 50 times during this period of time and my problem never got solved till now or I got any satisfaction that my problem will be solved by Airtel.



I have decided not call Airtel call center anymore.

here as i made my payment on the date of 2.03.2009 amount 1000 where my bill was 973.00 rs and i made the payment and on the date of 11.03.2009 amount of 500 rs but my outgoimg facilite is not realesed and i walk in to the nearest airtel sh/rom they inform me that no details avaible plz check and get back to me on the no [protected]or [protected]
Please send me the total receiving payment detail. My mobile no. is[protected].
With reference to my landline phone No.[protected] This is to inform you that I made the payment of Rs.325/- on 3rd of this month and again on 4th also. But till today it has not been icluded in my payment history available on on line. While these two payments are being shown in my SBI credit card payment history.Kindly confirm

EVEN ESCALATING COMPLAINT TO APELLATE AUTHORITY DOES NOT HELP. ONLY REPLY REPEATEDLY RECEIVED IS THAT THEY WILL COMEBACK WITHIN 72 HOURS BUT THEIR CLOCK PROBABLY DOES NOT MOVE.


I had requested for shifting of my phone no. [protected] on change of my residence in the month of October 2011. Despite making dozens of calls, the phone was not shifting by your people for next more than one month. Therefore, on 23rd November 2011, I asked for cancellation of the phone no. [protected] and applied for fresh connection from your organisation. On 27th November new connection was installed and during the Post Installation Call received from your customer service department, I specifically enquired as to the status of my old phone number and got a specific confirmation that the old number as that lady could check from her system, was disconnected. I made payment of the bill raised after that and thought the matter was over.
Unfortunately, I received another Telephone bill for the period beyond 23rd November, so again made a call to your Customer Service department and was surprised to know that the phone was not disconnected and they noted cancellation request afresh. Aggrieved on this account I lodged a complaint and after a few follow-up mails, received a call from your staffer who confirmed that firstly my phone was disconnected and second the bill raised was cancelled as the phone was never used while acknowledging that this all happened due to deficiency in service on Airtel’s part. Once more I thought matter was over, but how wrong I was, I forgot that I was dealing with AIRTEL for which customers are the least priority.
Again a telephone bill was raised for the next period including demand for the previous bill which was stated to be cancelled. So, I again lodged a complaint with Nodal Officer this time but as usual the excuses are there but nobody tries to address the issue. On getting no response I raised the issue with Apellate Authority but every time the response I get is a system generated mail that Apellate Authority will respond in 72 hours, the 72 hours which never are over.
I doubt whether there is some accountability concept exists in your organisatiion.
