[Resolved]  Airtel Broadband — Airtel is not disconnecting the connection.

My airtel account no. was 13773813.
I called up airtel customer care serivce and asked for the procedure for disconnecting the service.
I was told that you can subit your request on the customer care and you will get a confirmation call regarding it in few days and then your connection will be disconnected. I did as i was told by airtel customer care. I made the request for disconnecting my broadband connection somewhere around january. After that i got two confirmation calls regarding disconnecting the connection and each time i confirmed it.
I paid the last bill on 3rd March 2009 and clearedthe acccount. I am not using the airtel connection since january and i have not even connected it once since then. After then the real problem started, next month again i recieved the airtel bill and realized that they have not disconnected the connection. i made a call to airtel customer care and they said it will be resolved. Again i got a conformation call regarding disconnecting it, first of all when i have already confirmed it then why are they doing it again, i am not liable to pay now as i am not using their connection and i have already informed them. Since then i am getting airtel bill every month and there is a lady who calls up and every time i make a complaint to airtel customer care and she asks about the confirmation. I do not know how many confirmations does airtel need for disconnecting a connection. And every month they are sending the bill.
The complaint no which i have got from airtel is 19380668.

When i asked that lady from airtel does they do not maintain a database of a customer, she said she dsnt know and she dsnt have any access. I dont know whats happeining. Now its june and this month also they will send the bll and i am not using it since january. I am totally frustrated. Please Soolve my problem. I cant pay the airtel bill because as i have told them to disconnect the connection and they are not doing it.

Airtel Broadband — SINCE 24th of august i am not get installed my new connection

I filled up the form of new connection of airtel broadband on 24th of august (CEF NO.[protected] but on 31th of august airtel said that i can't provide you connection due to the DP of your society is chocked and you money is refund till 21th of September in the form of cheque but on 15th and 19th of sept. i get a call from airtel with number-[protected] that sir when you want to install your connection i replied that today evening at 5 o'clock but no one come to install my connection what i do now please help me out.

I am facing the same problem. i think now its high time, and you should write to Mr. Bharti Mittal himself. let him also see the kind of servicing we get from AIRTEL.
I am exactly facing a similar issue with my Airtel Broadband connection A/C No. [protected]. I had requested for cancellation last month since I have left Delhi NCR. After submitting the request, their executive called me 12 times during last one month to confirm why I want to disconnect. Every time I have to give them the same Answer.Then one lady called me up and asked me to make the remaining payment and then they would disconnect. I did the same and then to my utter surprise, they did not disconnect the line and have again send me a bill for the next month, even though I am not using the connection since last 5 months. Please look into the matter and disconnect my broadband connection.
