Sir,

Reference my earliest Service Request reference number is 21759491

My Airtel data card connectivity is notworking properly and the following errors are displayed continiuosly :

(1) Error 718: The connection was terminated bacause the remote computer did not resond in a timely manner.

(2) EDGE/GSM Airtel range/single is full and Network conectivity is ok but download/upload 0 kb/s browsing is nil.

(3) Error 619: A connection to the remote computer could not be established, so the port used for this connection

was closed.


Data card is not working from last 10 days.

Due to the above errors and poor service of airtel I would like to discontinue thie service and utilised another

service provider near few days if the same problem is going on.

Please look into the matter at the earliest.

    My number is [protected] for which i have taken CUG connection with [protected] and [protected] but the number [protected] was not been added to my CUG list and i have charged for the calls made for that number. Inspite of Claimin for the CUG connection i was not given the CUG discounts for the calls made between these numbers. So kindly see to that this number is added to my CUG connection and I get refunded with the discounts for two months.

      with due respect i want to acknowledge u the fact that airtel comes out everytime with a new plan to loot the innocent consumers.
      i got a broadband connection on this number [protected] and with internet speed of 256 kbps.
      Account No: 14101492

      the rental plan was for 799 a month respectively and unlimited download.
      i use the connection only for internet purpose and not for phone call so the charge was suppose to come within 900 rs inclusive of all taxes but they would charge me unwantedly foe dsl usage which is totally fake because i dont even have a reciever to make a call and they would add up many other charges without any reasons and make up my bill about 1100 every month.
      then due to my financial problem i didnt make one payment for which they cut my line.
      when in the mean time i didnt have any connection they charged me 700 rs without even have having a connection.
      when i complained them about it they gave me a big discount without any reason and told me to change my plan from 799 to 549 they told me that the internet speed would be the same and they would also give me 100 rs worth phone calls free in every month.
      so i switched my plan but now i saw that this plan is totally fake, my internet connection is no longer having the speed which it used to have while i was using the 799 plan.
      even the download speed is totally useless of about 1-5 kbps.
      i am a poor and helpless student in delhi, i came from assam but this airtel seems to suck up my money and i dont have any elder who can talk to the airtel consumer care about this problem so i am depending on u to take care of my problem
      PLEASE HELP ME.
      yeah bro they suck big time.. even i ve felt that.. now since mornign im trying to call 121(customer care) to disconnect my connection & im not getting through. :| wtf are we supposed to do?

        dear sir,
        i m having a prepaid mobile connection with the airtel and was very satisfied,
        but from 21 march 2009 for one airtel no. my amount is deducted from the main account and not from the airtel to airtle pack account.
        i have talked to about 6 senior level managers but i have been dissappointed to rectify the problem.
        before 21 march it was ok and after taht i have been told with no. of reasons but could not get any solution. till now the poblem is due.
        plz look the matter urgently.

        I am using airtel sim card from past almost 6years but airtel company deactivated the number without giving any information.when I asked the customer care they are telling wrong answers. I am totally dissatisfied about the service provider.

          I have applied fo Airtel IPTV on 29/05/09.
          A guy ( Mr Nardan came to my place to collect that money.
          But till date IPTV ser vices are not installed, I regret my decision to go for IPTV. Local cable would have been much better, because of services,
          MR. Nardan never took my concern seriously .,
          He never heard my grievence seriously.
          He just keep tellimg me tomorrow[protected].
          And that 2morrow never came.
          Then i called [protected], helpline no, request ID 1515868.
          they told me delay s due to problem at back office, so it will tbe installed by saturday ...
          Great i think i am living in 15th century, wear to install a box at ma place will take more than 10 days, , , & that too i am not sure about...
          Thanks Airtel for making me choose your IPTV

            Subject: Mobile No [protected], Postpaid Life long validity Ms. Alexander plan which is disconnected and RESOLD without any prior notice to me and not refunded my International roaming deposit Rs. 6, 500/- till date.

            I Ms. Susan Alexander bought a special plane in my name as Ms. Alexander plan life long 4 years back and didn’t have any much problem.
            Sir, but in the month of May 2008 I deposited Rs. 6, 500/- in Chembur, Mumbai gallery for international roaming specially for Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabic. I was assured by the staff Mr. Kishor of Chembur gallery that Airtel has roaming facility in Jeddah.
            I left for Jeddah in August 18, 2008 and on August 16th 2008 morning I went personally to Chembur Airtel and asked Mr. Kishor to activate my roaming and he promised the same. But it was all wrong information and I never for almost 7 long months had any international roaming service in Jeddah. Kept calling several times Airtel Customer service in India but didn’t get a logical answer. Nor I found any net work service which worked with Airtel in Jeddah.
            I came back from Jeddah March 8th 2009 and went to the same person Mr. Kishor of Chembur office and checked why was my service not working and I knew that Airtel has RESOLD my mobile number without any prior notice, to another person on the month of January 2009. Which was shocking news as my number was a life long validity and my deposit Rs. 6, 500/- for international roaming is lying with Airtel and is used by Airtel till date for 12 months. I need a sensible, believable, honest and logical immediate answerer from you Mr.

            1.On what basics Airtel any disconnect a number without any prior notice?
            2.Why a false promise was made by your staff Mr. Kishor when there was no roaming service was there in Jeddah that time. If it was why my roaming was not activated after repeated request to airtel customer service?
            3.Mr. Kishor promised they have lodge a complaint to the department and will reply in a day. After a couple of days I went back and he said the net working is bad so he didn’t get a reply, again asked to wait but still today no reply from him nor from the Airtel main office even on repetitive complain . Why is so responsible, bad, rude and horrible behavior of Airtel representatives?
            4.I requested to repay my deposited money Rs. 6, 500/- but no reply, why?
            5.Mr. Kishor said there is some cutting in bills till the month of December 2008, even when I wasn’t there in India and said the balance will be paid postal by Cheque, but till today I haven’t received that balance amount too, why?
            6.Why and how, Airtel cheat a customer when the fault is in your part?
            7.Will Airtel pay for my loss, I’m a Legal Consultant I had a great business loss?
            8.Will Airtel pay the bank interest for so long time using my money Rs. 6, 500/- without any reason?
            9.I hope and believe that I will get a positive reply from you?

            I request you to take an immediate action and reply me soon; please don’t force me to take a legal action.

            Airtel — phone line disconnect without any notice

            because of that i am facing many trouble

            Airtel — Wrong information by airtel and complaint lodged without any solution

            Dear Sir,
            I, Bodhisattwa Ghosh dastidar am a legal practitioner by profession applied for a airtel post-paid connection after being approached by the agents of the company informing me about the scheme that i took calling me from nos.[protected], [protected] and [protected] and said that my i will have to pay Rs.300/- as the charge for connection and also I will get a number of my own choice. Thereby an agent holding the mobile phone no.[protected] came to my office and took the photocopy of my Voter's ID as my photoidentity (since my voter's id card shows address of my previous address) and photocopy of my bank pass book as my residential proof and handed over a sim to me in lieu of Rs. 300/- and said that the connection will be activated within 10pm that at night and promised me to give a number which ends with 47 since I am superstitious and that was my choice and the agent wrote it on the application form the no of my choice. But for the next 2 days the connection did not activated when I got call from one of the abovesaid landline nos that the document will not suffice and that i will have to provide them my photocopy of my SBI card statement immediately that day at around 5pm and the agent was suppossed to collect it from me. But this time the agent did not turn up.when enquired over phone to that agent over phone, the agent said that the supervisor called me by mistake and that the agent himself has put my file in the system and the connection will be activated by 3pm in the next day which did not.
            After 3 days the said agent called me and came to my residence and collected the photocopy of the statement and after 4 days my connection got activated and I got the number [protected] and quite astonished to find that the number does not end with 47. The next day said agent called me and said that he has got nothing to do but if I take another connection this time I will get a number of my choice and a ticket of IPL and I refused. That day in the evening a tele-caller called me from one of the said landlines and said that the amount of Rs.300/- will be refunded to me by the next day but when I told her the detail and the way I was harassed She only replied that they have got only 5-6 connections left and that i will have to compromise with that number.. Then I received a call in my old No. i.e. [protected] from the company and to whom I have lodged complaint and they said that They will give the no. of my choice and they will call me again on 16.03.2010 for the feedback and they will take action against the wrong-doer. on the next date they de-activated my new number and called me on 16.03.2010 to tell me that I will have provide my documents again and that I will have to revive the number by going to the nearest Airtel outlet and again putting a complaint in writing or they will not entertain anything. When I said that I will bring it to the notice of the appropriate authority they lodged a complaint (no.[protected] and added that still then I will have to go to the nearest Airtel outl;et to help myself and then they will think about prviding me with the number of my choice.
            Then the day before yesterday the said airtel agent called me to come to my residence to refund back the Rs.300/- and asked me to provide me with another set of documents which I have provided before along with a photo, for it was mandatory for the company to keep a record of the refund which I did not accepted and the said agent did not come today.
            Thereby sir, I seek to draw your kind attention to solve this problem and punish this wrong-doers who not only provide wrong informations to the intended customers but also try to harrass them in every way to reach their monthly targets and also the agents of the company and company personnels who are to look after this cases but just sitting idle. I hope you will do the need ful as soon as possible since they are sending alerts on my phone ([protected]) that my bill of the new connection which is dead now is increasing day by day

            Airtel — Wrong information passed & refuse to refund

            Dear God

            Airtel Customer Care has passed a wrong infromation on blackberry services by saying please recharge your account by 399 and your services will start by an hour . On recharging 399 Rs some other services got activated and not blackberry . When called back this people refuse to refund the money and refuse to help . ONE OF THE WOREST POSSIBLE SERVICES EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE SPAN IS “AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE “. On the other side when we call airtel which can be better defined as Come to experience ONE OF THE WOREST POSSIBLE SERVICES . Say please allow me to transfer your call and my team leader will assist you ( in hindi ) and the call remains on hold for the rest of your life and the best part of airtel is they love to charge you when they place your call on hold """ well i think people working within the company are Multi Billionaire """"please lend me some money Ha Ha this is just a joke .To all the GODFATHER & MOTHERS working within the company Please Please Please value for money ( it is my hard earned money ). Request to the company chairman please dont provide GUNS on this NEW YEAR to all these GODFATHER & MOTHERS they can go and shoooooot your Trustworthy customer who love you and believe in you .
            My language may sound offensive but this is kind of dynamic pain I have under gone through. I hope you don’t do this to your other customer. I don’t expect any help from you guys but if any one person who has his own self dignity and understand my pain I go down on my knees and beg for a help and I am ready to pay for your mistake .

            Airtel — Disconnection of my number without notice

            This is regarding disconnections of my number-[protected] which i am using since 6 years back. I faced a lot of problem because of sudden disconnection of my number when i was in out of state - Kerala. For two days till come Hyderabad and take another Sim. I lost communication with my family and friends even i do not find public telephone booths while i was heading to Hyderabad.

            When i met people in Begumpet office they said i am not using that number and became free number i.e for recycle but the fact i am recharging on an average Rs.300 to 400 hundred per month or more when i want balance to talk.

            Who will restore this loss and i am using applications for job applications. If they really have right to disconnect number why should not have given intimation and message in advance so that i see for alternative.

            It is really undigestible. Airtel has to give answer to this.

              Deactivation of AIRTEL WAP service
              As I have lodged compliant to deactivate the WAP service for my phone no.[protected], which is not being done

              It is my kind request to anyone who is incharge of the de-activation of the airtel wap service from the mobile number [protected]. I have also contacted the customer service but there has been no respond and my balance keeps on getting deducted frequently.                   I, Ms Poongothai Ragukumar having airtel prepaid connection no [protected], from 23rd may 2009 for Add on purpose. But past 20 days Add on facility is not activated… and charging rs.1/ call. I had taken this connection only for 20paise scheme….the worst service i ever came across I called to customer care executive and supervisor but nothing fruitful only the assurance of words… I complained more than 10 times… they said wait 48 hrs… still im waiting for 48 hrs… past 20 days im getting the same words from worst airtel company….
                  I am expressing my fustration no empathy and no concern at all. So what i conclued is that using Airtel is unsafe any you balance can vanaish for no reason and even if you raise complaint it will taken care.
                  I am going to sue Bharhi Airtel in the consumer court.

                  So many times complained about it... and even after 15 days of the complaining movie going on, and talking to all the people out there, including CCS, Floor Supervisors, TL and Asst. Managers, the issue is just not resolved.

                  They always keep on repeating the same old words..."Its under process... N It'll be resolved as soon as possible..." This "as soon as possible" has no specific time limit or so... They are all useless... My friends always say I'm very Optimistic... Now I've also started believing that... See the Height of my optimism...

                  Still I believe that... Hope someday my issue's resolved... I still hope...

                  i call lot of customercare service but called me 48hours system not update how many 48hours and executive not transfer call to supervisoryour customercare service not solve problem than why should open this service? shutdown this process.

                  The Customer Care really don't care about the customer. airtel is awarded best service provider in the gsm service but I think airtel also want worst service provider award by customer.

                  Moral of the story: Don't trust Airtel. Don't buy Airtel. If you can't afford Hutch, go without a phone. Hire a messenger to send your messages. Above all, don't call customer care and waste your time. Buy some other card. Even an out-of-state on roam SIM.

                    I had already lodged a complaint on 29.05.09. Against which I recieved a phone call from a Ph. no.[protected] at 12:17. Person on ph. asked me about complaint I lodged, and said that I myself activated the service by pressins the * button. I refused and said that why I will spend money to make listen the song to others. More over how can I oress any button while my ph. is totaly silent.
                    He replied O.K. sir I will again enquire and come to you. That is the latest update.

                    Dear Sir,
                    I received one SMS from 543211 on 29.05.09 at 16:47 pasted below.
                    (You will be activated on Hello Tunes soon. The selection Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo copied from [protected] has been set as your Hello Tune)
                    I immediately called 121-9 and asked to the executive on duty that how come it happened. He told me that I have pressed the (*) star button to copy & fixed the Tune and disconnected.
                    It is totally neglection of the customer on the part of the customer care executive.
                    I immediately called again. The executive on duty after hearing told me to wait and replied after a short while that He is taking my complaint and I will get the reply on 02.05.09 by 12pm.
                    I asked for the complaint no. He told that I would get after some time through SMS. But no SMS has come so far.
                    It is true that I dialed that no. I heard one ring, but just after that my Ph. became silent. I tried to disconnect but could not. After 4 – 5 presses it gone disconnected, now I am realizing that some one was busy in cheating at that time. More over when my phone is silent I do not know what is happening to it, why I will press *, as per you man’s statement.
                    It clearly indicates that when my phone was in silent mode and my call was continue, some one cheating me on the bases of the company’s secrete policy or if not so then the commission based working personal for his little gain.
                    But either way it is the responsibility of the Airtel it self.
                    Again I received 2 SMSs pasted below at 17:41
                    1. (Congratulations on Starting Hello Tunes (HT). You will be charged Rs.30/month towards subscription charges. Stop HT by calling[protected] toll-free. )
                    2. (Your Hello Tune has been changed to Govind Bolo Hari Gop. You have been charged Rs.15. Listen to your favourite fullsongs, call 543213(TollFree)
                    This shows that 45/- Rs. have been deducted from my hard earned money.
                    Secondly, for last few days I was getting several calls per day regarding the same activation. Most of the times I did not even lifted those calls. Records are with you. I SMS complaint to 121.They asked me SMS DND. I did the same. In reply I received the SMS that the service is not available at the moment. I did the again next day, but the reply was the same. I called 121-9 and had a detailed conversation. The executive on duty activated it manually for witch I received SMS also. It in my inbox. I.e.
                    (Your reference number for registering on NDNC is W[protected]. All promotional communication to your Airtel Number [protected] should stop with in 45 days from now)
                    So, why 45 days, when you have to deduct the money for a service activation you do it immediately, otherwise DND service activation requires 45 days. These 45-day you require cheating the person. When I had applied for DND already, why I will activate this service.
                    Please deactivate this service immediately and refund my money. And what action you are going to take against the culprit, so it should not happen again.

                    voice calls are not enough to make money for phone company these days - so pushing value added (their words) services!

                      I have modified my post paid plan but for 3 months I have been billed at the ols rates. Though my bill mentions the new plan I have been billed at the old rates. I have been trying to raise a customer care ticket but when I call back on an update I get a response as the ticket is closed without any action being done on my case. This has been going on for 3 month, I have also talked to the airtel CC manager but the only response I get is we will get back to you. I feel harassed and angered at the way these people have behaved with me.

                      I have absolutely no avenue to escalate the issue and get it resolved. I had taken airtel because I believed it had a good coverage and a good customer care but i m absolutely distressed by my situation.

                      I hope people take this case as a warning against taking up airtel.

                            I bring to your kind notice that I have purchased the airtel broadband by Mr Pawan Kumar DSA on dated 22/04/2009. I issued the cheque on the same day.But due to some reason the cheque has been return from bank .I immidaitely call to Mr Pawan Kumar for collect the amount of Rs.500/-.I have been given the amount of Rs. 500/- on dated 27/04/2009 by cash. But It is regret to inform you that Mr pawan kumar have not deposited the amount on dated 27/04/2009.Mr pawan kumar have deposited the amount on dated 2/05/2009.In between our connection have been disconnect due to negligence of Mr Pawan Kumar .I approach many higher authorities I wrote a letter in personally, by e mail and by fax.I also approach to Mr Anurag lamba .He penalize to Mr. Pawan Kumar of amount of rupees 500/- on dated 12/05/2009. Mr Pawan Kumar deposited the amount of Rs.500/- on dated 12/05/2009. When the book the broadband of airtel, Mr.Pawan Kumar have made wrong commitment to me. He says that no any charges of set and other .It was a great shock that I have been produced e bill on my e mail :- When according to Mr Pawan Kumar and Madam Rupinder Kaur, They says that No hand set will be charges to you by the company. They had given wrong commitment. I am also sending the bill to you for clarification .Firstly Reactivation charges and activation charges of amount of Rupees 450/- have mention in wrongly by your company .because It is not my fault .all fault are Mr pawan Kumar and Madam Rupinder Kaur. Because they said to me The set of airtel is free.Only you pay Rs.500/- then why charge extra of amount of Rs. 600/-.The 600+450=1050 in my bill .So I request you to reversal the amount of Rs. 1050/- from my bill. Please reply soon .Please clarification to me and the amount of Rupees 1050/-may be revarsal immediately.                               I have submitted the application in BHARTI AIRTEL LTD. to discontinue the services of the above connection dated 06-may-09. Also cleared all the dues till dated 06-May-09 & I didn't use this number not even for one month. However I am still getting the bills against the above number. I have already spoken with SIMRAN in Airtel on 06-May-09 & she has confirmed to provide the NOC & to discontinue the services of the above number. However I have still not received any NOC but still receiving the bills.

                                i am suffering with this problume since 21st may 2009, on this date i recieved a msg
                                from the no 64611050 saying that i have downloded a game which charged 50 rupees.
                                it was a shocking affence for me bcs i didnt downloded any game .
                                When i telked with custmer care, they told thet their system is showing the i have dawnloded a game. this was how i lost my first fifty rupees .

                                then on 23th may i visited 12131i.e. my airtel my offer to get confirmation of there msg pack 50 .
                                where i come to know that by paying Rs 50 i will get 200 local/ national sms free.
                                so on 10:08 am i recharged my mobile no with the recharge ID 707167.
                                After 25 mins when i did a national sms to my friend i got another shock . i lost my 3 rupees for those 2 msgs . when i told this to costmer care the told that they have changed the offer by rs 25 inspite of Rs 50, and was without information . after that at 9:00pm i again visited 12131 for confirmation . and here the msg was same, that by paying RS 50 Iwill get 200 local/national sms free. for the proof i am having the recording of that msg .

                                I am very much fed up sir, please do somthing plz, i am regularly calling to there nodal officer
                                bt i am not getting any setisfactory ans .

                                  I am from Pune and on 30th may 2009 at around 2am I have received a message regarding charging notification of Rs 25 for GPRS activation which i have not activated on my mobile no.Rs 25 has been deducted from my account. So I have called the customer care at 121 .executive (Tabrez) has attended my call and when I have asked about the deduction of Rs.25 from my account without any request sending from my side .He said this service gets activated by default.when I told him that I'm a user of Airtel for last 4 years and its not possible that a service can get activated without any request sending from customer where there is a possibility of deduction of money, he start arguing with me and use slang word, and said that nobody can do any thing to him, nobody can make any complaint against him.I think Airtel do not provide any proper training to there customer care executive.At least a executive should know how to talk with customer.Its very shameful for a brand AIRTEL..I got a reference no.[protected].Is there any criteria to make a complaint against customer care ex.                                   Airtel got the worst customer care service...not sure about other states but is true Andhra Pradesh.I have recharged with RC 94 for internet activation in my mobile yesterday night at around 9:30 pm and its not activated till now(4:22 am). before activating the service I even contacted the customer care and they confirmed that the service will be activated instantly and trusting them I went ahead and had my mobile easy recharge with rc 94 but the service was not activated.received an instant message showing the confirmation about the rc 94 activation but when I try to browse from my mobile it shows an error "communication error" contacted the customer care and told me that my account is active and I have 100 MB to us which was not showing at all in my balance when I type *121*10# or some other number they gave me...contacted them again and other guy sent me settings again and asked me to save them switch off and switch on the mobile and it will be activated which did not work either .this process went for many times, contacting them, they sending the settings, turning off mobile and turning on but no luck.and after calling customer care from my number for 3 - 4 times, i was unable to call them again . when i call them it gives a default message saying sms airtel to 121.then I called customer care from one of colleagues number and this happened again . after 3 - 4 calls that number too was blocked, this repeated for almost 4 different numbers as I was unable to reach them from my number. finally I spoke in frustration and one customer care guy transferred the call to their supervisor and he asked me to sms my airtel to 121 and then i will be able to call customer care from my number.THE WORST PART IN THEIR SERVICE IS ... they will say please hold on and then they will disconnect the call without intimating or if you contact them for any problem they will simply tell you a solution which will be like head and tails and they will leave the call instantly coz they are not sure if the problem will be fixed or not. DAMN WORST PART in their customer care they shouldnt be given option to disconnect the customers call until customer disconnects or until customer permits them.finally called one more time (total calls to their customer care : definitely more than 23 times from 5 different numbers as each number was blocked after calling them 4 - 5 times) and other guy advised me to deactivate the service by typing *567*2# and then activate again from *567# and I have deactivated as he said and later when i went to activate it was showing me as new customer for internet and is asking for which plan i want, but I already paid and activated it . then I called to customer care again and explained this to other guy and he put me on hold without asking me for almost 3 minutes, while i was on hold i received a sms stating that "your internet service is active and you will be billed 30 paise / 50 kb with no monthly rental"which was ridiculous.then he took the call and said now it is activate...what does that mean...??? I asked him why is this showing like this when i have paid for a month and there should be 100 MB for me to use...seems like he had no answer, he asked me to hold on and disconnected my call...tried to call them again but after that whenever I called them from different numbers all the numbers are getting this message "please wait while i transfer your call to customer care executive, this call can be recorded for internal training services and after 2 - 3 secs annoying sound like this (teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee )" damn [censored]ng Customer care service...believe me I never had this much frustration, really they are great as they made me write a complaint about them...bigggg complaint ...lets see if they will reach me atleast after seeing this...number is [protected]

                                    my air tell no is [protected]. i have using frenzo service from many time on it todat that is 29thmay2009 they sunddeny blocked my service i wanna know why. after sending them about 100 mails today since the morning i have not got a reply from tem till now the tmis is 7.50 pm now. as i am in jodhpur i even tried to contact there custmer care service [protected] from here i could only hear there prerecoded tarrif plan or the option for choosing a language to haer . i am really sorry to say we indians are beibg cheated by big company. if any one from airtell is reading to this mail can i hear from them either on my mail or my jodhpur no [protected].

                                      I am a prepaid user of Airtel Mobile.

                                      I have been receiving a SMS Message from the Number 52121, which says, "you have missed 2 calls. Never miss a call again.Activate Missed call alert service at just Rs.10/month. SMS MCA<space>ACTIVE to 52121.

                                      It looks ordinary but the point here 'If I missed 2 calls and if my handset does not show that, either my handset is fault or Airtel must have purposely blocked that from showing or else the SMS message is misleading the customers or even we can say cheating.

                                      How can a big business firm like Airtel can do such a thing and come to that level of promoting the products? It is a shame

                                      Airtel Prepaid — Misleading SMS

                                      Couple of days ago, 3 or 4 SMSes were sent with the following text "Dear Customer, this number has been changed. Please call 543212 to access the service. Call charges apply". This is totally misleading and after dialing the number couple of times, I noticed, Rs. 3 was deducted each time. I was under the impression that my mobile number has been changed. When Airtel customer care was contacted, they are giving an arrogant and monotonous reply, 'it is chargeable, because you had called that number'. They don't even understand the 'core' issue. This is not the way customer should be treated. Gandhiji said "Customer is the king" but, Customers are treated shabbily at our home whereas you get a royal treatment outside india (most of the places).

                                      The service industry has to learn and correct all customer related issues for a better and satisfied tomorrow. This is the poor customer's wish. Harish.

                                        I Rahul Rajkumar Gupta using mobile no [protected] transfer my prepaid no to postpaid on 24th feb 2009 at that time of conversion two person from Bharti Airtel Ltd swaragate office pune come to my office and take all my required documents & Rs 500/- in which Rs 250/- for Activaton & Rs 250/- for Security Deposit was & issued me a fresh new sim card.

                                        On 5th May 2009 I again transfer my no from postpaid to prepaid & cleared all my dues on the same day but my security deposit is not being transfer to my a/c & when I call to customer care from Bharti Airtel outlet ( Ankit Communication Chinchwad ) on no 888 an say all this matter they reply me that security deposit is been not reflecting in the a/c so i reply to them that I have received a letter from the Bharti Airtel Ltd ( 7th floor, Bldg. No.7, Interface Link Road, Malad (W), Mumbai-400064) than I got a reply from customer care executive that please show that letter to our any of my nearest Bharti Airtel Outlet your security deposit will be immediately transfer to the a/c.

                                        But to my supprise when I show the company letter to Bharti Airtel outlet ( Ankit Communication Chinchwad ) the person denied the company letter and reply that this letter is of no use & they cannot give my security deposit & can’t transfer security deposit amount to my a/c. I feel that I have been cheated by the Bharti Airtel Ltd.

                                        So I request the kind management to look into this matter & please transfer my Security deposit to my a/c as early as possible.

                                        Airtel — Cheating - Not refunding security deposit

                                        I had taken airtel corporate connection by submitting copy of passport , 2 photographs, and had deposited Rs 500/- as security deposit on 19th Oct 2007. My services got activated only for a week and then after they barred outgoing services.
                                        One week later they simply disconnected all the services.
                                        I have made innumerous number of call to the customer care and the executive who gave me the corporate connection but all my time, effort and money went in vain.

                                        Now they are neither sending me the bill for the period for which I had utilised the services nor they are answering when and how are they planning to refund my security deposit.

                                        Pls help me ...I need to know how to take up a legal case against such nonsense.
                                        I had apply airtel broadband connection by submitting copy of driving licence &photographs & had deposited Rs 850 as security money on13 Nov. 09 . now they are neither sending me connection nor they are answering when & HOW THEY PLANNING to refnd my security deposit. pls help me
