[Resolved]  Airtel — Cheating With Customers

Dear Sir,

I m an resident of Mumbai City. I m using airtel prepaid number from last 6 years. Actually I have some problem with this prepaid service is that from last 15 days I m receiving a msg daily on my number related airtel live service that you have been charged for Rs. 10/- by using our airtel live service. I complaint also to airtel customer care executive that, "I have not subscribed for any service pls deactivate it and return my balance then they said that it is our technical problem and you got your money in next 24 hours and the service will be deactivate...we are forwarding your complaint." But no action has been taken by them and daily they charging me for this service...kindly help.

Airtel Mobile Services — Cheating customer

I had purchased an Airtel post paid connection in Jan 09. They had verified my address by calling my other contact number and also visiting my residence. My connection was never activated.
In Mar I was surprised to receive a bill of about Rs 150/- for services I never used or infact never activated. Whenenver I call up the customer service number 121, they say that the address verification is pending and I need to visit a nearest customer relationship centre. Whenever a complaint is lodged the reply is that some one will get back within 24 hrs, however if 24 years pay by i will not receive a call from Airtel.
Couple of things to be noted.
1) When a person had visited for verification why does their system say verification pending.
2) When the number has not been activated, why the bill?

When asked for a refund of the deposit money they say that it has been adjusted in the bill.

If this is the attitude even before getting a customer, i wonder what is the treatment metted out to existing customers. They are nothing but cheats.
Dear Sir/Madam,

I am using Airtel since last many years and my mobile number is +91 [protected]. I have always faced network problem but my concern is not network.
I have taken Blackberry Enterprise Services, Rs. 899/- monthly rental plan wherein i get unlimited browsing and downloading in that package.

Yesterday i.e. 19/10/2009 i recieved a message as given below:

Message: Get uncensored videos and Gossips from bigboss house season3!!! unlimited download!!!

Today i.e. on 20/20/2009 i clicked on the link given above from my mobile and the very next moment i got a message from Airtel Live (54321) as below:

Thanks for downloading Mp3 Tone from Airtel.
You have been charged Rs 99. Play Games http://gclub.in

I called up to the Customer Care (121) immediately and they said that they can not help it. Since i have clicked it i have to pay Rs. 99 as rental. I just want to know that where you people have mentioned in that message that it is chargeable or terms and conditions are applicable. Please note down the reference number that i got from customer care: F[protected]. See its not a matter of Rs. 99/- but its a matter of cheating customers. I am really not interested in any such activity. Now tell me if i have already taken unlimited downloading plan then why would i pay Rs. 99/- extra for a service wherein nothing is mentioned that whether its chargeable or not.

Apart from this i have activated Missed Call Alert service on my number. Since 4 to 5 months i have been charged monthly rental of same but i done recieve a single message from yopur end about same. Despite the fact that i always get complaints from my colleague/ freinds/ family/ etc that my mobile is always not reachable because of network problem.

I am really fed up with the service thats why i am writing this mail.

Kindly help the needful or else i have to opt for some other options.

i have no service active but also a getting sms like---

and then ---
" Dear subscriber, you have been trying to download Kitni Bechain Hoke songs.Click on the link below to download the same. http://10.5.10.79/hmv/click.asp?msg=mp3H" from 56060

and my balance reducing. i called several time to customer care executive but they can't give me any clue.
so what can i do?
Sir I had airtel mobile prepaid service more than 4 years. sevaral times my balance is high on that time i couild not care about any deduction knowingly i ignored the deduction .In recent days i am not able to keep the huge balance. on 15 the feb2010 i changed my plan to seconds. and stoped extra options.but on[protected] @12.30 pm i was received aSMS deduting Rs 30/ for airtel radio option.suddenly i contacted authorities they told that option was given by me on[protected] hence they deducted. I objected and asked re credit but they willnot care and I send 100 numbers of Sms to 121, 1210, 876, 405. 404, there is no response only TRY LATER NOT ABLE TO PROCESS they arenotgiving any response only they are giving recording messages. As a valuable customer felt it very much and contacted regarding in another phone they replied immeadialtely by Mr, Venkatesh the amout may be credited on[protected].As such bad experince destraying good will o[censored]r concern and tend to switch over to another company with our friends. kindly took this mater and solve to continue as usual My mobil sim no is[protected] and see my privious records o[censored]sage Thanking You.

Dear friends,
If you are a Airtel mobile user and wish to shift to other service provider through MNP, then beware of Airtel using following trick for stopping you from deserting Airtel =>
When you send an SMS from your Airtel number to 1900 so as to receive your porting code thereby Airtel gets to know that this particular customer is planning to say Good bye to Airtel.
When I applied for my porting code through SMS I recived a call from Airtel call centre asking me what is the reason of my proposed shift to other operator( docomo).
When i told him that the reason is high tariff of airtel services he told me that as because i am their valued customer now airtel has one plan for me and the plan is that " all my local calls will be charged at 30 paise/min and all local airtel at 10 paise/min ", after telling this he asked me that will i be still shifting to other operator ?
I said that if airtel would offer 30paise/min to me then i will not be shifting docomo, => now, the clever telecaller told me that to activate this service (30 paisa/min), i will have to send one sms to some number.
( i dont remember that number now), accordingly I send that SMS and I received a reply that thankue for cancelling you Porting Code request and thankue for continuing with Airtel.
After that when I made a call to a local number I should have been charged at 30 paise/min (as communicated to me by their executive) but to my surprise no tariff change has took place and after 1 month my calls are still charged at 1.2 paise/second i.e. 72 paise/min ( and not 30 paise/min).
This way Airtel executive lied and got my earlier porting request cancelled.
Therefore never trust Airtel people and what ever they promise they will never keep their promise.
They are still charging SMS at stone age era rates of 1 Re/sms local and 1.5 Rs/sms national.
When everyone is charging 1paisa/second and infact some are charging 1 paisa/2 seconds, it is Airtel which is charging 1.2 paisa/second.

mobile services — cheating

Dear Sir,

I am new port in customer in Vodafone.

My problem is my credit limit is decreased from Rs 4600/- to 500/- without intimating me. And for call charges not given me as committed plan

I talked with all customer care officers; backend team as well as nodal officer from last 16th March 2012, also forwarded my earlier mobile bill for increasing my credit limit as per your SMS dated 4th March 2012 - my credit limit is Rs 4600/- and at next day they decreased to Rs 500/-

Your Ulhasnagar Vodafone – ADIAMMA MOBILE WORLD VODAFONE MINI STORE – cheated me they did all this without intimating me. They had given wrong information to get my connection.

I am really upset for this kind of inconvenience and trouble, I am using this number from last 9 years but this is worst experience.

And from 14th March 2012 SMS received is my credit limit is 500/- and threatening me for disconnection it is really embarrassing situation as being a postpaid user.

Now as newly port in customer how i can recommend to others for Vodafone connection. If nothing will happen then you have 50 days out of 90 days 40 days gone you can’t do harassment more than that?

Sort this issue and revert to me.
