Airtel — Kind Attention for Airtel DTH

Hi All,
I'll bring to your notice that AirTel DTH Customer service and complaint resolution is too worst. After recharging I couldn't view any channels. I got an error signal locked error code B001.But they are deducting money from my account. Since October 13 I'm facing this problem I called customer care more than 10 times. These are the request no's I raised. The interesting part is they will close the request no's without my knowledge and without any resolution :)

I'm ;located in Bommanahalli Area, Bangalore.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR AIRTEL DTH. My intention here to right this is no one should not face such problems like this in future.

Hi DTH,

This is Nageswara Rao.P, I am new customer for Airtel DTH, my customer id is: [protected]. Here I am providing my comments and very bad experience with AIRTEL DTH.

I was planned to book/recharge the new connection through the online but I was not able to do it because of my area pin code was not available in your system. Then I called customer care and I paid the amount of 1850/- through my HDFC credit card on 5th FEB 2010 and asked them to install the system on 6th FEB 2010 between 11 am to 1 pm. After I called customer care on 6th FEB morning he said he will be sending the guys by 1 pm, but nobody came and installed. After so many calls finally they came by evening 5 pm and set up the box and said I will be able to see the channels with in 1 hr but not able to see any channels due to they have installed wrong card in the setup box.
After so many calls they came and changed the card on 8th FEB evening. Again one more problem that, I have requested for “South economy” plan with 4 months free subscription but they have installed basic package “South super value” plan with 5 months free subscription and added the amount 1750/- in system even I paid 1850/-.

Again after so many calls they changed my plan from the “South super value” to “South economy” but NOT changed the amount from 1750/- to 1850/- on 11th FEB.
After 1 week that means on 19th FEB, Friday they have been disconnected it due to my account balance went on negative balance (Since amount has been NOT changed from 1750 to 1850); due to this I am not able to see any channels from 19th morning onwards. I put a complaint on 19th Morning and they informed it will be resolved within 24 hr but still NOT yet resolved. Also I asked that what needs to be done if I want to see the channels immediately and one of your manager said that if you recharge the 150/- amount that is went on negative balance I am able to see otherwise NO.

I can pay that 150/- rupees that is not the matter here, here the thing is that how you are providing the service.

That means even if you people did the mistake, I am the one suffering for that. For example if I would have availed that 4 months free subscription and it is exceed that 4 months free subscription then disconnected means it will be reasonable but at the early days itself they have disconnected it.

Already 4 days are completed but nobody responded still. But I am calling every day to the customer and they are taking again and again complaints and saying it will be resolved within 24 hr but nobody responding for this.

My comments:
I am really fedup and irritated with the service provided by AIRTEL. I never seen this type of worst service in my life.
The main reason that I go for this is my friends are suggested me to take this TV and also said that you people are providing a very good service but I did not see any thing good on this. Instead of this AIRTEL DTH I would have taken some other DTH or normal dish connection.

I Friends: My request here is do not go for AIRTEL DTH at all and their dealers and distributors are proving very worst services.
