[Resolved] Airtel — Wifi Connection problem | |
I am writing to you after receiving a very bad response and taste from Airtel employees. On the 28th of Nov 2009, an executive from Airtel came to my house for a broadband - wifi connection. He made me fill the form and took, photograph, residence proof and a 1500 rs cheque on the condition that he will get the internet up and running maximum by 30th Nov. He first said that it will be done in the next 24 hours or maximum by 30th nov. Till 1st Dec, I did not get the connection. Then I spoke to Mr Parikshit Sharma at customer care . He told me that the executive had committed a date of connection by 12th Dec and that it will be done by 12th Dec. I was given a complaint number: 27190006 by customer care and confirmed that it will be done by 12th Dec. I then wrote to Mr Sandhu, Nodal Officer, NCR region of Airtel and asked for his immediate attention on the matter. After receiving no response, I cancelled my airtel wifi connection application on 6th Dec. I was promised by an executive Ms Preeti Sanjeevan that she will cancel the application and that the refund will be made withing a weeks time. She also assisted me in getting an airtel data card connection which is horrible and doesnt work at all. On 24th Dec, I called Preeti who was not avaialble and spoke to the Team Leader Mr Joginder (mobile: [protected]) who confirmed that the application was cancelled and because of the slip up of his executive, the refund was not made. He promised that the refund will be made by 1st jan 2010. Today, 6th jan, I called Joginder again who said that because of some executive's fault, they caould not send the payment and now he wants me to wait for another week. I am sure such goo[censored]ps are only made by AIRTEL. I have used a reliance datacard and currently have two vodafone connections, where I have never ever called the customer service as I have never faced any problem. I have sent this mail to assist me in dealing with AIRTEL exceutives as I am mentally harassed by calling them and requesting them for help on a daily basis.
