[Resolved]  Airtel — worst customer care in india

Regarding Airtel Mobile Office, I have given many complaints and feedbacks.

First of all, try to teach the Customer care representatives how to speak with the Customers.
Every time, they are disconnecting the Call while Complaining. Harish, Rajendar.. and many persons doing like this. after 2 or three attempts, 121 customer call has been blocked. (why you are blocking the calls. Are you afraid of the Customer).

Never try to cheat the Customer. Without the Customer, airtel will never grow with the advertisements.

Ok I will come to the Complaint.
I bought the New Tamil Nadu Airtel Number (my old number was bangalore number).
I activated one month Airtel Mobile Office for Rs.375. For the Rest of one month, I mad the complaint regarding the internet access. The service was toooo toooo slow. just 1 or 2 kb per second. I have used Vodafone Internet and RIM internet. They are providing upto 7 to 10 kbps. Airtel not providing atleast 5kbps.

Very slow. If we type any web address, we can have a te and come., then only the site will be opened. I have given the Complaint at January. after the complaint they deactivated my 121 customer call number.
(Have you tried this. This will happeb to each and EVERY CUSTOMER. If you give any complaint, your 121 service will be de activated. After that I started giving complaint to activate 121 call. 2 weeks gone. After that 121 has been activated. Later i have given one more complaint about Airtel mobile Office. They refused to solve the Problem. And the Validity for the Mobile Office has been Over. Always I am getting the error asd "Communication Failure".

So what's the use of 375 Rupees. Hmm. What are you doing? Are you cheating us..

Then one more thing. Last Tuesday I activated One Week Mobile Office. But the same problem was their. After opeing 5 or 6 pages, .. i am receiving this error as "Communication Failure". (I am remembering that I am having the full coverage. i am in the Center of the City at Coimbatore. The Area Name is 100ft Road, Gadhipuram). If we download any files/ videos or pictures, the Success Ratio is lesser than the Miss ratio. 40% of downloads are getting Success. And if we download a large size file (for example 2 Mb). Every body know how the speed is. I already mentioned the speed is lesser than 4kbps. Every time, the download skipped at thje middle, and giving the error as "Communication Failure. Contact the Service Provider".

I made the call to the customer care representative, he transferred the call to the technical team. They told the final decision as "We are not able to do anything regarding this error. and we are not responsible for that". this answer was told on April 21st after 10pm.

Again I made the call and the person named "Harish" talked with me. I told everyting from the top to bottom, but he disconnected the call. Every body doing like that, always disconnecting the call.

For Example, try to check Vodafone Network. See how they are talking with the Customers. how Nice. Airtel always using the word as "I am sorry. I am sorry". Whats the use in asking Sorry.. There is No use. Take the Action. Dont ask dummy sorries.

Airtel Live GPRS is also in this catagory. it alsways shows the Error "Invalid gateway Response" or "Connection Failure. Contact your operator Service, if the proble Persist".
Regarding that i given two more complaints. they put my complaint in Dust Bin. (i think).

This is to inform you, I am mentioning this to solve my complaint. Otherwise, I will publish this in Consumer Complaint Webpage.

Subject: Regd - Indecent behaviour of collection agents

My Name is pprmi and I am a subscriber of Airtel for the past three years.
One of my colleague had requested me to make the payment 3 days ago and I said ok.
I am no way liable for the amount he has to pay and its only a favour.

First day your collection agent calls up and reminds me, I said I will make the payment.
Second day, she scolds me for not making the payment.
From third day, she calls me and abuses me, insults, totured me to the maximum extent.

Your collection agents have spoken the below to me,

1) 'Poruki naye, 2 masathuku phone pesa theriyudhu bill pay pana theriyalaya'
2) 'Picha eduka vendi dhane'
3) 'Idhuku vera thozhil pakalam'
4) 'Arivu iruka'
5) 'unga appa amma idha dhan soli kudu thangala; ipdi dhan valandhiya'
6) 'vaya moodu'
7) 'complain pana theriyudhu bil pay pana theriyala'

Your collection agent calls me up and asks me to sell myself and make this payment.

The day she started torturing me I told I do not know who he is.Still, she kept abusing me saing ' I am cheater', 'Go and beg on the roads'

My family is completely shocked and are very apprehensive about this.

I have some questions,
Why did you close his account without making a settlement ?
I have spoken to 2 TLs's, a floor manager and 2 Nodal officers and its 48 hours now, nothing happened.

I have made my stand point very clear and I am claiming damages since I have been tortured to the core, for the sleepless nights I am pasing through, the mental agony I am facing.

SHE HAS GOT NO RIGHTS TO ASK ME TO DO THOSE THINGS.

She has crossed her limits and I will let te entire world know that Airtel uses such cheap methods for collection.
I went throught the code of conduct specified in your site and its meaningless.

Your people do not have ethics, morality, manners.There is no work culture.
I guess your team is also involved in this and that is the reason nobody spoken to me so far to ask for my concern.

I WILL NOT MAKE THIS PAYMENT NEITHER WOULD MY FRIEND DO.

My mother is a member of Social clubs and my father is a General Manager and you ask me to sell my self and settle this Rs.3000

I lost my sim card and got a new one. I was told that within 4 ours it will start working. More than 7 hours it didnt start working. I called up custmor care.Each and every time I was given different informtion. When trying 4 times i wasnt satisfy with it i again called up custmor care, but i came to know that my 123 custmor care service was blocked. Till now it hasn't start working
i take a dsl connection . the bill has showed that the connection was started on[protected] but i want to tell you that at that time only the wireline has been eastablished. the modem was actully installed on[protected] & the phone instrument was deleiver after that day. Many complaints was registered by me before 3rd june. so i want to request you to adjust my bill and send the new bill . my telephone no. is[protected] and my bill no. is 13773609.please send me the complaint no.

Hi Sir

i have taken a corporate connection([protected]) of 99 Rs. Plan for internet only on 28/06/2008. i used internet only two three days after that it disconnected. The error is "Pocket data connection not available". For that i called more then 20 times to customers care No. 121 & 12118 from last 3 days. Each and every time i got different informtion. Still i did not get proper answer. I have frosted to take this connection. I waste a lots of time to call the customers care executive. Even they don't know, how to speek with customers.

So Please suggest what i do. Do i stop this service or Break that sim card or take another connection.

Airtel provides us with very poor customer service and also rudely behaving c c executives.on calling if a work within scheduled time is not done the disconnect the call immediately and when ever asked to connect to seniors they invariably put on hold for atleast 10 mins and finally disconnect the call .please help

when I take it then my younger sister activate "On Demand Service" but after some days when I see my prepaid balance is cutting Rs 20, 10, 15 then I phone customer services but they couldn't help but they promise to me even now they cut my balance. So please you take step if necessary. If you can returning my balance so please get back.

Yes Airtel is a cheat company...TRAI should lookinto this serious matter of AIRTEL wher it bars its own customers from contacting them...this they call CUSTOMER CARE !

Hi there,

This is to inform you to continuing my Avdance rental 699(12 months) plan, which I requested to continue on my number [protected], a week before but still not activated. I have received a call from airtel and I ask them to continue this plan.

I have already received a confirmation message that it has been continued on my number.My request ID for starting Adv rental 699 (12 months) is 6323451.

I have been trying contacting airtel customer care from a long time but unable to reach customer care executive I don't know what kind of service you are providing to your customers. Today I am writting this because I am frustrated calling your customer care. The customer service you are providing to us is worst service I have ever seen.
After dailing 121 it gives some options as I press 9 it says "thank you for airtel" and the call goes disconnected.

It's my request to continue Adv rental 699 (12 months) plan on my number - [protected], else I am not going to pay this month bill till I get confirmation call from airtel ( the call timing are 10:00 am to 12:30 PM ) that this has been continued and a confirmation message with request ID number and this should be ASAP.

I HAVE BEEN USING THE AIRTEL MOBILE OFFICE FOR A YEAR NOW. BUT RECENTLY THEY HAVE INCREASED THE PRICE TO RS.25/- PER 24 HRS WITHOUT PRIOR INTIMATION TO CUSTOMERS. ALL THEY SENT WAS AN SMS STATING ABOUT THE INCREASE. THEY ALSO MENTIONED THAT IF WE WERE USING THEIR SERVICE AT RS.15/- THEN THAT AMOUNT WILL APPLY. BUT ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY BEGAN DEDUCTING ALL THE BALANCE IN MY ACCOUNT AND KEEPING THE BALANCE AS NIL. REPEATED CALLS TO THE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS A BIG HEADACHE AND TIME CONSUMING AS WELL. NO PROPER REFUND WAS GIVEN. AND NOW I HAVE TO USE THIS SERVICE AT RS.25/- FOR NO FAULT OF MINE.
THIS CLEARLY SHOWS THAT AIRTEL IS ROBBING ITS CUSTOMERS, THEY SHOULD BE HEAVILY FINED
Dear Sir,

This is to inform you that I have been your Airtel Broadband customer for the past 1 year and also i am using your Airtel mobile.

When I applied for the broadband connection the service people said there is no charges for Caller Id tlephone instrument. So i have opted for that. But now in the billing i am getting 54 /- as caller id charges.

I have taken unlimited Broadband service for Ts.799/- plus tax. So kindly clarify the doubts. If you are charges for the caller id I do not want the caller id instrument. Pls do the needful at the earliest.

Moreover I got the msg from my mobile that being the broad band customer there is a provision for getting Rs.300 talktime in the mobile connetion. Pls confirm the same and do the needful asap.

I HAVE 500 RS. BALANCE RIGHT NOW .INCOMING CALL IS COMING BUT MY OUTGOING CALL IS NOT WORKING.PLS. SOLVE MY PROB. ITS VERY URGENT.DURING CALLING IN COSTOMER CARE ASKING FOR MY PREPAID NUMBER WHEN I DAIL MY PREPAID NUMBER MESSAGES COMES THIS NUMBER DOES NOT EXIST.

I USE THIS NUMBER FOR LAST 5 YEARS. PREVIOUSLY I HAVE POSTPAID CONNECTION RIGHT NOW I HAVE PREPAID CONNECTION.

I used your mobile connection since Oct 2007 to till date of COG corporate connection, we have lot of connection, but the Local call rate of the connection are different, you are also not five the detail of local call, because of this I am going to close my mobile nos and also I am not pay single rupee without any perfect clearefication. all ready I am lock many time complain in your coustmer care dept.

when ever iam calling for customer care on 121 initially it will give all the option but when the option come for customer care executive it will tell press corresponding no. may be 9 the the voice mail come that for your bill and balance type AIRTEL and send to 121. no customer care executive come on line for that i have to another airtel mobile then calling for customer care executive to enable my 121 no. sir this is very disgusting that when we required we can not call to customer care why . For airtel better they should immprove their services rather than going for price competition.better you wake up.
