[Resolved]  Airtel — Mental Harassment

This is to notify the concerned people that few days back on 27/11/2010 I got a call from the Airtel Koromangala Branch to convert the prepaid connection to post paid.They sent a person to me to collect all the related documents and 300rs for the postpaid connection.Till date They have not converted to Postpaid and when I try calling them over the numbers they are not entertaining my Queries.The only answer to all question is taht we will soon call u back.....god knows how soon.

The sales person named"Kotresh" collected all teh documents and promised to deliver within 2 days.I want to register a compalin against him for false promise and cheationg the client.

Please look into the matter and get it resolved soon.I want a solution either convert the connection or refund my money back.

I(Ashish Tripathi) took an airtel corporate connection([protected]) which was activated
on 4th of Feb.
The outgoing call was barred on 10th of Feb for which i call airtel's
so called customer CARE center.
Some how i managed to speak to a CSR and i got the shock of my life
when i heard that there was 6000rs outstanding on my name. When i told
them that this no was hardly 1 week old and its credit limit was just
500 rs he told that this outstanding amount was for my old No.s
([protected], [protected]). I was surprised as i had never used these
no's.
On enquiring more about it i got to know that these no's were
activated on my name when i was working for hcl comnet. This was
another surprise because i have never worked for hcl comnet and i can
prove that in court.
When i told all these things to a shift manager, ( plz read
carefully... ) he advised me to go to gurgaon center of airtel and
prove that i never worked for hcl comnet( wow what an advise! can you
prove that you have never worked for microsoft hah...) moreover i live
in noida i dont have enough time to go to gurgaon and prove.
Now i have few querries for you and if possible for everyone in bharti telecom.
1) How were 2 no's activated on my name without proper
verification(since i have never worked for hcl comnet)
2)If it was activated how come i never recieved any bill for those no's.
3)If there was any outstanding amount against why wasnt i informed
about it. there should have been some sort of communication from
airtel's side.
4) How come the outstanding amount was transferred into my current
no's account without any prior notice or without my information or
consent.
5)I believe since you guys can activate any no on anyone's name so it
being a national security hazzard i would love to go to MEDIA(both
print and tele), TRAI and Consumer forum in the interest of national
security.
6)I feel i am lucky because if these no's would have been used by
terrorists or millitants for communication or terror activities i
would have been behind the bars by now and on this point i would like
to know who would have been held responsible for the mishap.
7) Last but not the least Is your customer care center worth it.
because i have had horrendous times with your call center. Have you
tried to call the customer care center and escalate any issue? try it
you will get the shock of your life.
If you want to escalate any issue then the first thing that the CSR
would do is that he would disconnect the call. And the stupid reasons
for not escalating would be that the CSR would not know who his
TL, MANAGER or supervisor is.
somehow if you manage to convince the CSR escalate then you will have
to wait on hold for unknown period of time and if you are patient
enough then your call will be either transferred to some other dept
which has nothing to do with your case OR if you have asked to speak
to a manager then it would be transferred to shift manager. I know its
an escalation desk but people there are not earning there salaries.
It was really very painfull experince for me to speak to your Call center.
Right now the no does not exist they barred my no.I have also file a police
complaint regarding this issue.

Can you do something in this case.

I am forced to give this advise: please change the name of your call
center as customer care center rather it should be CUSTOMER HARASSMENT
CENTER.

Airtel customer care Bad Experience:

Bill clarification issue;

I had logged this complaint[protected] on 25th august 2008 and without resolving they have closed the complaint. Also not solving this requested problem since 10 days. This type of service is not satisfied and we are using your services more than 2 years.

Each time when I call to customer care they are opening different request number and they have given the following request numbers:
10981990
11082388
11232774
11275806

I am surprising why they give different request numbers each time and finallly they say given the clarifications and closed the request.

Take some action and give us the clarifications urgently.

I never felt like this situation in entire 2 years but since 10 days am very much harrased with the customer care for not giving proper reason and not taking care of my complaint.

AIRTEL ( Post Paid Service) — Mental Harrasment( Withdrwal of services)

Dear Sir,


I have subscribed post paid servises of AirTEl for last three years( Ph no. [protected]). On 21 May Airtel suddenly stopped my outgoing calls with a sms that i had requested for address change. The fact is that i made no written or verbal request for address change, Even though i made visit to the Chakarta Road, Dehradun( Kanoght Place Office) of Airtel and submitted verified documents to the above mention office and was given an assurance that they will resume outgoing services of my phone by 48 hrs.
Since then, I made innumerable request to Airtel for resumption of services but got no satisfactory answer fron any one of the customar care executive, After a fortnight of mental harasment, i irequested AirTel customer care to either resume the service or send me fresh invoice of monthly bill of the date till they provided me the services me i.e. 21 May 2009. So i can formmally delink from Airtel
Airtel does not respond to my request till date and sends the monthly charges to me very month on my email address.
The above mentioned affair has given me tremendous mental trauma and has been consuming my mental energy.
My i seek your help in resolving the issue.

hello, this is my complaint for airtel broadband landline services. i applied for address change for my broadband connection on feb 11, 2010.i shifted to my new address in scheme no 114, i applied for transfer again and again but got no reply. Then one day i applied for cancellation and again applied for new number. But when i applied for new number airtel people told me that they will transfer the old number first. In between i submitted rs 1000 for registration of new number. I have the slip of the same, the serial number for which is 2385547. But i got my old connection transfered on 12th march 2010.

So my number got transfered after one month. Now i got the bill.My only request to airtel people is, plz give me waiver for the one month that is of 12th feb to 12th march period. And they already have my rs 1000 submitted with them. explain this to the executive whoever calls. Every time they say ok we will not call again and your amount would be waived off. BUt next time again i get a call,its mental harassment using airtel broadband.

Plz resolve this problem, i want airtel to waive off my rent for one month and adjust the registration amount in bill.

Now outgoing calls on my number is barred due to non-payment of bill. I paid my bill now but ionly thing i want from airtel to return back my registration of rs 1000 and waive off the rent amount of one month.plz resolve my problem.my number is 4068935 and [protected].

First of all I would like you to tell this I have experienced worst services from AIRTEL. I had not used fixedline for more than a month. Still I paid an amount INR 1891, after paying 4000 INR regarding my 6 months plan.

When I got a call from a call centre, I have been told that an amount of 1000 INR has been wavered and I am require to pay 1891 INR from 2891 INR and then it would be disconnected. So I paid 1891 INR online and AIRTEL dint disconnect the number and generate one more bill and therefore I called a customer care and requested for disconnection. On february 14, again I got a call and the guy told me that I still need to pay 1208 INR. After long discussion, he asked me to pay around 400 INR as final settlement.

And again, one more idiotic mail from AIRTEL side today saying I need to pay 785 INR.

PS: I completely understand that it is my fault to go for a service of such a worst company having no standards at all.
And yes, AIRTEL MAIL EVEN FAILED TO CLEAR FRAUD DETECTION CHECK FROM MSN!!! (image)
