hello all,
today i was using airtel live and was downloading the update for my phone which is of only 6mb before the download was completed the download stopped and when i checked the bal then my bal was .26 paisa....i talked to sutomer care on 198 and talked to them also but no success....i m hardly disapointed with that kind of support.....last month also they deducted 80 rs and when i told this to them then the executive told a lie that 30 rs has been deducted....i have the message of bal. deduction of 80 rs.....please help!!!

    Why airtel call manager is activated?

    I am a regular customer of Airtel prepaid mobile since last 2 years & my no is [protected] .But currently Airtel prepaid mobile forcefully activated the call manager serves in my mobile no. Several time i deactivated this services by the airtel customer care ,but next day they automatically activated this services. By that i ruined my money & time in every day automatically.
    so that i really face the amorous & painful...

    Respected Sir,
    The Airtel Friends Chat has been activated on my mobile no. [protected] without my consent and the Rs. 30/- was automatically deducted from the balance. I neither send any subscription for this services nor got it renewed. It is very unfair on the part of Airtel to activate and renew these sort of services without the consent from the customer. Moreover, the customer care executive are not picking up the call at 121 so i am unable to contact them. It is a request from Airtel not to harras your customers in order to make the profit for your company please and deactivate this service from my number and give my money back.

      Am from Chennai and I had placed a request to port out from Airtel network on 1st February 2011 under MNP.

      On 2nd February 2011, I received a message from my desired service provider stating that Airtel has rejected my port our request for legal reasons.

      I called up 121 and 198 at least 5 to 6 times and not even one person knew what these 'Legal Reasons' was.

      Mine is a Pre-Paid connection and there is no question of any outstanding bill. Moreover, I now have about Rs. 400/- balance, which I am ready to forfeit the same to escape from the torture that Airtel has given me during all these 6 years.
      As advised by the Airtel customer care official, I visited (taking half a day's leave) the Airtel customer service office in Adyar. The people there were even funnier. They lead me to a telephone and picked it up and asked me to talk to their back-end team. After about 15 mins of explanations, and proving that I am myself, the guy on the other side of the phone asked me to clear all my dues and make a fresh request along with the proof bill payment. I gently asked that gentleman, do you really generate bills for 'Pre Paid' connections ?? Then the 'Service' representative asked me why did I pick this phone up, because this is only for Post Paid customers. I said, I didn't pick it, it was your officials at the Airtel centre who did it. I was then asked to lift another phone which was meant for Pre Paid customers. A lady on that line promised me that all my problems will be solved by 10:30 PM today. It is already 12:38 AM and nothing has happened.

      Today I had received a call from Airtel asking me the reasons why I wanted to leave Airtel. The person who called me tasted some solid reasons why due to the paltry Airtel signal that we enjoy in our office first floor !! He also promised me that the port out issue will be soon resolved..... just waitng in wings.

      I have had this Airtel number for the past 6 years and I had innumerable bad experiences with them. I converted this number, which was a post-paid connection to a pre-paid one after enormous billing. I never used to check my bills and used an ECS from my bank account to pay the bills. On random check, I realized that they were milking me to the core. So, decided to convert the number to pre-paid after settling all outstanding bills. They asked me not to use the number for a day so that no more outstanding occur, which I followed with care. Next day, I received a call from Airtel saying that I used the phone and had to pay Rs. 200/- for migrating to pre-paid. I took another leave and visited the Airtel office in Saidapet to make them understand the fact that I never used the mobile the previous day. It took an hour's time of heated debates before they admitted their mistake and convert me as a pre-paid customer.

      My tearful story with Airtel does not end there. I had a landline (with broadband) connection with them. That number was previously allotted to some other person and each time I call up the customer care, they would address me with that person's name !!

      While signing in for that broadband plan, I was promised that I would get a recharge of Rs. 100/- every month on my Airtel pre-paid mobile number and so filled in the form accordingly. I had that connection for over 5 months (I had to because no other service provider had broadband connection in that area at that time). Not even one month did I receive that promised recharge of Rs. 100/-. But each time I called the Airtel customer care, they maintained that they had duly recharged my account with that Rs. 100/- every month without fail (I still have a call recording to prove this).
      Since the Airtel call center officials maintained that they cannot take a request for this complaint, I personally visited an Airtel centre to place a complaint for this. There, to my shock, I realized that the field for the mobile number on which the offer recharge has to be done was blank..... so obviously, the Airtel customer care personnel was lying to me when they said they had duly recharged my mobile number.

      I always do a full-talk time recharge of Rs. 777 or Rs. 333 and so it was easy for me to confirm from the Airtel mobile customer care whether I had received any recharge for Rs. 100/-. But to my dismay, they said, they don’t have records of my previous recharges other than the last one !! I was made a tennis ball between the Airtel Mobile customer care and the Airtel Landline customer care.

      When another service provider came to my area, I opted for them and closed my Airtel landline and broadband connection. I personally visited the Airtel service centre at Adyar and handed over the telephone, modem and all other paraphernalia and obtained a signed acknowledgement from them. Despite this, I have received at least 10 calls from them asking me to return the telephone instrument and modem.
      While settling the bill, I paid the total outstanding less Rs. 500/- for the recharge which they should have been done for 5 months. Now I started receiving collection calls. I had taken this issue with all the highest nodal officers of Airtel Chennai (I still have all the mail correspondences), but in vain. Since I had to make an overseas trip, I decided to pay up that paltry Rs. 500/- and travel with some mental peace.

      I still receive call from Airtel with broadband plans 'Specially and Exclusively crafted for me' for re-activating my Landline... I told them... even if Airtel decided to give a broadband connection free-of-cost, I would reject the offer without even giving it a thought....

      Since then, I had been desperately waiting for MNP so that I can severe all my ties with Airtel. But they have now rejected my request for 'Legal Reasons', that too on a Pre-Paid mobile connection.

      Well, dear Airtel, it is high time that I turned 'Legal' against you.

      I'm starting my crusade against Airtel on this 5th day of February 2011.

      Requesting all existing and/or previous customers of Airtel who have had such sad experience to join hands with me. May be we can form a registered body to seek justice for all the harassment that we faced and are facing at the hands of Airtel.

      Wish to point out another beauty by Airtel ! Whenever we call the customer care, the first instruction is press 1 for Tamil and 2 for English. Irrespective of whether you choose 1 or 2, the customer care official will speak to you in Tamil !! Then why do you ask the customer to choose the language at the first place ?? !!

      Moreover, calls to 198 were charged till about a few weeks.... they seem to have made that free now.... thanks to MNP !!!

      I dont say that all other service providers are any better, but my personal experience proved that Airtel is the worst.....

      Well, dear Pramod,
      I faced almost similar issues with Tata Walkie before some years. We had registered a case against them in court and they had to provide full amount back of the bills (amount which we haven't used), which they had debited in our bill account, + other cost + court penalty.

      One more thing is, in Gujarat, all service(!!) providers are charging more than they are charging in other states.

      Sad to learn that all service providers charge more in Gujarat (the home land of the Father of our Nation) than what they charge in other states.

      I'm sure that all customers should approach the court of law against such defaulting service providers. Only if they pay some huge penalties they will understand the hardships that a customer faces and it can also act as a deterrent.

      If this is done just to milk the customer for those legitimately allowed time of 7 days too then, there is no point in using that technique with me because, as I have already written, mine is a pre-paid number I am ready to forfeit the available balance (about Rs. 300/).

      I want to move out of Airtel at any cost.

      Hi Rakesh,

      Had called up your MNP toll free number on 5th February 2011 and one Mr. Swamy promised me that someone will get back to me in 24 hours time. That 24 hours time lapses today - 6th February 2011 (this is excluding the Sunday that came in between and if Sunday is counted, it becomes 48 hours). Nothing has happened.

      Tried again now, after umpteen calls (trying from 10.00 PM to 11.09 PM), was lucky enough to talk to one Mr. Yesudasan.

      He also has promised 24 hours to me. Poor guys, I felt pity on them for their sorry state. They did nothing wrong, they only have chosen a bad service provider as employer.

      I have agreed to him request for 24 hours and shall wait till tomorrow (8th February 2011) 11.09 PM to call back again.

      Thanks to MNP, for providing us a toll-free number !! Only the mental harassment is there at present and not loss of money !!

      By the way during my call trials today, I was informed that Mr. Swamy was on leave for the day. Hope Mr. Yesudasan doesn't take a leave tomorrow !!

      To all other readers (I know this post is not going to solve any of my issues, but writing here so that others dont get mislead by the clandestine tactics of Airtel)

      The holy 'Legal Reason' for rejection of my MNP request was that - I agreed to accept a new Talk Plan and agreed to continue with Airtel after an IVR call that I received from you on 1st February 2011 !!

      Well, here is what actually happened:

      I recievd an IVR call from Airtel saying that before porting out, please check the exciting offers that they have for me and to know those offers please press 1. I did not press any other button other than the 'end call' red button.

      This is absolutely cooked-up and false. I asked the nodal officer to prove this, to which he is shying away.

      I am openly challenging Airtel to play me back the call where I had accepted their offer.

      Now, the Airtel nodal officer asked me to obtain a new UPC and start the process again (for no fault of mine). I repeatedly reminded the nodal officer that my first UPC is still valid till 14th February 2011. But he insisted that I obtain a new UPC.

      I tried to get a new UPC by sending a new request to 1900, but I repeatedly get an error message saying 'Invalid Request'.

      Upon knowing this, he asked me to re-submit the application forms with the same UPC.

      I went to BSNL office. They made their point very clear that all the initially submitted documents have been forwarded to Airtel through the MNP third party service provider and only if Airtel releases the same, BSNL can process it.

      Now I shouild submit all forms afresh and may be also pay for the new BSNL SIM (I suppose they have stopped the free offer of SIM for MNP customers).

      I'll take this matter to the consumer court, as the airtel nodal officer had no answers to any of my questions and make Airtel pay for the BSNL SIM cost as well as a hefty fine for all the harassment they have put me through.

      Airtel is playing absolute fraud and are trying to somehow delay or deny port-out requests. I'm sure they are doing all this to save their face in the MNP Statistics sheet and in turn before the media/customers. Airtel management is quite brainy because they successfully showed a very meagre customer churn out in the initial months of MNP implementation. And they know very well that people and media will not heed much to the statistics of the later months.

      Kudos to the good work and great management skills of Airtel !!

      I am Anik Garg no. [protected]. I used Idea services for 3 years but on 24th Jan 2011 requested for port in to Airtel which was even acknowledged by the code generated. As per the standard time time limit my port in process should be done till 31 Jan 2011 but even after 16 days of waiting ( today 10th Feb 11) my airtel no. have not activated As per your record told by the customer care executive my number has been ported in on 28th Feb itself but still my previous service provider Idea is active and Airtel sim in not. I filled a complain CWBAR [protected] regarding this in airtel office also on 5th Feb and was asked to wait till 9th feb but go a message saying that my documents have not been submitted. I can give documentary proof from airtel office regarding submittion of my doc.

      Already 16 days has passed from my portability request. This kind of liberal attitude is not accepted and if quick action is not taken by you then legal action will be taken.

      So I feel that the the problem is not about the type of request i.e. Port-In or Port-Out...

      I have a problem with Port-Out and you have an issue with Port-In...

      In either case Airtel is the only problem !!

      Airtel is famous for such tactics and attitude. I am also facing issues with Airtel since 2 yrs in Hyderabad. But tolerating them as the postpaid corporate plan I'm using is good. But I always get a bill of around Rs.700 with average use. Donno if they randomly add calls with mostly called numbers to botch up the bill.

        I have taken 1 postpaid connection no is [protected] from your company but on 30 th jan my out going calls have been barred the reason has been given the that my address is not in post paid area of your company but according to communication of your customer care there is no such area
        entire non postpaid are a is converted into post paid area your customer care is confirmed that re verification of address will be done latest by 3rd FEB by 9.30 morning my outgoing resumed on 1st of Feb but its again barred on 2nd of feb the reason is the same i have following concerns

        1.If my address is not valid as per your company norms why you have activated my no its the violation of TRAI regulation according to TRAI without address confirmation how can you activate a no

        2. I have contacted the outlet from which i have taken the connection has not taken my complaint seriously and not responded me the i have repeatedly call there office even they are not picking the no[protected] and they have standard answer that server is not working we are unable to check your status . the address of that outlet is

          Respected sir,
          I live in a house in sec 44 b block noida, I wanted a new broadband connection with iptv so i contacted airtel company by phone and a person from airtel visits me after 2 days, after discussing the tariff plans and offers i agreed to make an advance new connection application payment to the person and in return he issued me a companies receipt and said that the connection will be given in 3 days.But many days have paased but no person contacted us on our given no then after waiting for a week i contacted airtel customers care and they said that connection cannot be implemented caouse they have some issues with the lines in our sector, and told that the money as 1750rs will be refunded to u soon. till today no one has contacted and return th e money. its now been almost 20 days. the application date is 12 january on my name as

          if they no that they cannot provide service in here then why there sales person book the new connection to meet their targets.

            My Airtel SIM got deactivated suddenly without any information. When i called the customer care they are telling that i did not responded to their call for address verification. I didn't get any call or SMS in this regard. The respnose from the customer care is that I should go for new number. Since it is prepaid and having RS1000 on it. I have another post paid mobile no with the same name and address. Looks like some wrong doing happening in this front.

            AirTel — SIM deactivated without any sort of information

            My Airtel SIM got deactivated suddenly without any information. When i called the customer care they are telling that i did not responded to their call for address verification. I didn't got any calls. I'm using this SIM for nearly 8 years. The respnose from the customer care is that i should go for new number.. What a response from the customer care?

              I HAVE PURCHASED AIRTEL CONNECTION NO. [protected] FROM THE DEALER SHOP AT 'B' BLOCK MARKET VIVEK VIHAR, DELHI-110 095. AT THE TIME OF PROCUREMENT OF CONNECTION IT WAS ACTIVATED. LATER ON IT WAS INACTIVE FOR THE WANT OF PHOTOGRAPH. SUBSEQUENTLY I HAVE HANDED OVER PHOTOGRAPH AND IDENTITY PROOF ABOUT 10 DAYS BACK BUT THE CONNECTION IS STILL NOT ACTIVATED. ON CONTACTING AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE THEY HAVE TOLD THAT DOCUMENTS HAVE NOT BEEN SUBMITTED BY THE DEALER. ON CONTACTING THE DEALER, HE BEHAVE VERY RUDLY AND HE TELLS THAT YOU DO WHATEVER YOU CAN. BUT YOU DON'T COME TO MY SHOP. HE PLAYS HIDE AND SHEEK WITH US.

              MY GRIEVANCE IS MY CONNECTION SHOULD BE ACTIVATED QUICKLY AND STRICT ACTION AGAINST THE DEALER SHOULD BE TAKEN. HE SHOULD BE BLACK LISTED FROM ALL TELEPHONE/MOBILE COMPANIES. HIS DEALERSHIP SHOULD BE CANCELLED.

              I SHALL BE VERY GRATEFUL IS A LESSON BE TAUGHT TO SAID DEALER BY CANCELLING HIS DEALERSHIP.

              sir i am jagathish from yercaud salem i have open a new shop in near to bustard on[protected] the problem the dealer not response last 1 month i wait for easy sim and recharge cards but he not come properly when i Mack a call he ignore always, the other dealers are very good last 15 days i activate 40 voda sim and rs 7000 easy purchase airtel is most wanted product in yercaud, plz cure my problem thankyou mobile no - [protected]
              i have a complaint against my airtel distributor. forcefully he gave unwanted vouchers. But when i actually want a balance from him so he told me you don't purchase my vouchers & balance we don't need you.
              So kindly register my complaint & get back to me. I am waiting for your reply.

                I would like to bring this issue to your notice.

                I used Airtel Broadband services last year. There was serious problem in connection and I had raised several complaints. For personal reasons I had to leave out of town and I wasn’t using this service for 3 months, during this time without solving my problem in connection I have been sent bills after bill for all 2 to 3 months. When I was back to Bangalore I had raised another complaint with Airtel customer care that without usage bills have been raised and asked them to cancel my connection. They suggested to pay half the bill amount and would waive off another half bill on non usage. This was a fair deal and I paid Rs. 1813 during last June and closed the matter. 2 months ago Airtel executive came and collected the instrument and modem as part of connection closure. Now, I am getting threatening calls from Delhi from some advocate Mr. Alok Singh saying I am due to pay Rs1700 if not paid he will file a case at Delhi high court and these calls are flowing in continuously from the number [protected] and saying if I don’t pay that amount they shall accuse me and bring me to court.

                I don’t understand does the high court judge has no other major matters to look at? is this the burning issue they want to solve.

                When the customer care has given me a waiver why is someone calling and threatening!

                He sternly clarifies saying once the connection is cut the customer care shall not be approached for details as they wont maintain any of these concerns raised and now the case is in their hands.

                I am forced to ask - When the matter dealt with customer care has no value why at all have a customer care in place. They can have advocates and gundas deal with billing, broadband and all such matters right.

                The behaviour from these people has been pathethic.

                If this continues I shall have to complaint against Airtel broadband and the person calling to the local police station.

                Airtel — bill not waived off

                sir,

                i lodged a complaint for repetitive activation of monthly rental schemes on my mobile no.[protected] without my knowledge. for d same reason i got a waiver of rs.100 on 5th july, 2009. my ref. no.[protected]
                for this i called to cust. care twice but i never got my bill waived off n now my ref. no. is being stated invalid. M not billing to pay any amount as my bill is still under the waiving limit but m not gettin any waiver from your company . Please help.

                I would like to bring to your notice the following issues below:

                Iam having billing issues since 3 to 4 months and inspite being continously filing the complaint, nothing has been done to resolve the issues.

                Air tel services has been good in the past but now it has become worst day by day.
                All of sudden they started sending the bills online and after many request they had put the password with my old phone number and due to that i had no access to my account, which i came to know later and that too i updated my new phone number there long time back. So i was unable to pay the bill ontime and always had to request for duplicate bills and everymonth they added late fees 75 rs for not providing me the access to my account. This i came to know later when i requested for the bills and also they never informed us that they are changing the mode of sending bills.

                Later on again last month bill i havent received neither by post nor by email. When i made a request then i was informed that bill was sent and some woman named reena has received it.Well we dont have any lady with this name. Issue is that you people dont provide the bills and then keep on charging the late fee 75 rs from the custmors and i have filed so many complains everytime the excecutive ask me to pay the full amount and many time they drop the call as it happenedd yesterday and the name of ther person was Mr Krishna.

                My question is if your delivery guys are not sincere enough to deliver the bills and then we make request for the bill, you should be paying for the bad service you are giving or you should take 75 rs every month for not sending us the bill.

                My connection number is [protected], iam actually tired of making complains and if its not resolved the i would be rather better off the connection and then dont blame us later.

                  I had an airtel broadband till Jan 2007. I paid the bill, and asked to close the account. After that I left the house. After that, till now I have no idea what went wrong.

                  Now, in Jan 2011, I requested for a connection, and they asked me to pay 20,000 Rs bill. And threatening me to pay it. I had no idea about that usage, and also I have no proof now that I had closed the connection.

                  I'm in terrible state of mind, please help me how can I handle this?

                    Hi,

                    My postpaid bill calculation is being wrongly calculated for the past one year, i observed it very lately.
                    I have raised a complaint with airtel customer care, they have reverted for one month, i have clearly stated them to check for the calculations for the past one year, and they have been very lazy in doing so. If we consumers havnt noticed this kind miss calculations we might loose thousands of valuble hard earned money.

                    i would request to look into this issue at a high importance.

Agar 7 working ke hisaab se dekha jaye to[protected] ko 03:00 P.M. tak 7 days complete ho jaate hein but iske bich mein 26 january bhi pad rahi hai jiski humari government guested holiday deta hai to agar usey nikaal diya jaaye to 7 Days[protected] ko 03:00 P.M. tak complete hote hain.                         My name is Manish Aggarwal and I am a Airtel prepaid connection user with Mobile # [protected](Haryana Circle)...I have been using this Mobile Number for quite a long while now and had no major concerns in the past.But from past few months,almost every single day I am being charged for a service called (AIRTEL LIVE) which is offered by Airtel,for no reason.Despite of contacting Airtel Care END NUMBER of times and requesting them to deactivate this service on this Mobile Number,I am still being charged almost everyday for the same service which surprisingly I HAVE NEVER EVER USED...Every single time when I contact Airtel regarding the same I am being asked to delete some settings from the handset that I use,which unfortunately has NOT DONE any good.THE MOST SUPRISING PART IS THAT WHEN I ASK THE AIRTEL PEOPLE TO DEACTIVATE THIS SERVICE FROM THERE END,I AM TOLD THAT THIS SERVICE CANNOT BE DEACTIVATED FROM THERE END AS ACCORDING TO AIRTEL ONE WILL ONLY BE CHARGED WHEN HE USES THIS SERVICE WHICH IS VERY HUMILIATING AND DISGUSTING AS I HAVE NO PROOF THAT I DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE...I have escalated the issue end number of times in the Custmore Care Dept. but have never been provided with any permanent resolution to this.Every time it is a QUICK FIX that the Customare care dept. gives and few days down the line the same issue reoccurs(That the amount starts getting deducted from my account).Though I only use this Mobile Number as an alternate number as I am not currently residing in Haryana anymore,but still I will be using this number and would like to get this issue sorted out at the earliest as I have already paid A LOT to airtel for something that I've never used.Any assistance from your end would be greatly appriciated..Waiting for a positive response..

                          I purchased AIRTEL-3G-Broadband Data Card ( with 3G plan - supports upto 7.2Mbps)

                          My number is [protected] - Purchased with Airtel USB 3G Modem E1731

                          Purchased and activated on 3rd Feb 2011

                          The connectivity is very slow and it is giving only 132 kbps , when I called the airtel purchased outlet Chrompet they said to call customer care .

                          When I called customer care one representative told no 3G available in Chennai .

                          Later supervisor Mr.Saqib spoke to me for 20mins but not resolved

                          It is pure failure from AIRTEL-NEW - 3G and concern person should take immediate action.

                          Guys please do not buy Airtel 3G in Chennai .

                          My problem is solved by Mr. Lakshmi Narasiman, Technical Person @ Tamilnadu Circle - finally
                          he is the best in Airtel overall.
                          I too have purchased a 3G data card bearing No.[protected] with E1731 7.2mbps speed and 695 plan and since the day i have purchased its been troubling me, firstly even after installation every time i re-insert the USB it goes to F Drive asking for installation, twice i have un-installed and re-installed but the problem persist, Secondly the speed is a pathetic its worse than a normal data card of Tata Indicom that i have been using, worst part is as soon as i leave Delhi/NCR the stupid things stops working stating "no data connection". In cities like Lucknow and areas which are hardly 100km away from Delhi it does'nt work at all, whereas i was told in cities where 3G is not introduced you will get 2G connection, forget 2G or 1G i dont get a connection at all.

                          When contacted the call centre they tried all their permutation and combinations by removing the SIM and putting in a Mobile phone, selecting the network manually, re-inserting it back to the data card and what not but it simply refused to work, and whenever a call is made to the Call centre, whoever the executives are they simply promote the new Rehman Tune (hardly understand the lyrics..but the melody is music to ears) and then it goes blank that's it, fortunately a complaint was finally registered on 7th March which was supposed to be cleared by 17th March (10 days and you are at their mercy) and till date there's no single call from airtel to clear this

                          I am customer to Airtel since the day they started their operation in India but i sincerely appeal to the mass please do not buy Airtel 3G data card, the service is simply beyond expectation. To lodge this complain i am using a Tata Indicom Data Card.

                          In case if anybody is listening then please call me back at my registered no. as recorded in your system.

                            DEAR SIR,
                            For the last one month we are facing problem with Broadband/ IPTV ,as well we have been trying to lodge a complaint with Airtel but always the lines are busy/ netwok is busy.
                            The complaint we wanted to lodge is poor quality of sound in IPTV and internet has gone too slow even sometimes it stops working.
                            If there is any problem within the or inside machines are we to suffer.
                            Please also let me have a reply that are we laible to make payment this month's bill.

                            AIRTEL Broadband/IPTV — Poor service

                            I am facing an issue with the service provided by airtel

                            On 2nd July, I requested to airtel to shift my connection from Delhi to Dwarka.

                            From last 20 days I am just listening commitment from customer care and nothing happened with with the shifting. I am planning to request to disconnect my IPTV & DSL connection as it is taking too long.

                            I was not expecting such poor service from AIrtel.

                            My request no. 358052 is pending since 2nd july.

                            As i know new connection can be activated in 24hrs as you people have more concentration towards, new connection.

                                I have an airtel mobile number. I got a blank call from this number [protected]. When I called back , the person who receive the phone told me to that I won a prize and ask me to note down this 89911 and also ask me to switched off the cell and remove the sim. But then I disconnected this call immediately.

                                So request you to take proper action and ensure personal details of the consumer should not be shared with anyone. And please ensure this number is not being cloned.

                                  I undersigned am having the Airtel prepaid no [protected] since Nov 2010.Through this complaint i want to tell that i have been charged Rs 99/- and 30/- on two occasions.I have not asked for the service. like downloading value pack and airtel friendchat service. The message comes and straightway the money is deducted from my account. When called to customer care firstly they make us to wait for at least half an hour and then they transfer the call to higher executive and every time while transferring the call the call gets dissconneted. Ihave request no CBCC[protected] for deducting Rs 99 and request no CBDFC[protected] for deducting Rs 30/- dated 7th January and 2nd February respectively.If the complaints are not looked for i have no choice to change the service provider.

                                    I had purchased Airtel digital tv connection in april 2010 online and engineers came to install in month of may 2010, as our society has MDU installed the engineers told me that they wont give me my seperate dish antena and provide connection from the MDU itself. I told them that I want my seperate connection as I have ordered it seperately. But then too they gave me connection from MDU. In the month of Aug. 2010 I had called on 12150 to provide me with my dish antenna, but they demanded Rs. 2,250/- extra for the same, which was quite shocking as I had ordered all the items in a package. Then one of my neighbours had purchased a individual dish tv and he got a seperate connection, hence it appears that airtel has different rules for different peoples and they fool people after taking the money from us. Since then I have been complaining again since last 1 and half month and still no action has been taken. Pinki Katke, Mumbai

                                      MNP rejected by Airtel Prepaid

                                      I requested MNP from my Airtel prepaid to Tata Docomo prepaid on 20-01-11 and got unique porting number AA124395, and my mobile number is.[protected]. I have been told by tata docomo on 27th that airtel has rejected MNP request stating legal obligation.

                                      I have conacted airtel customer care and they have no idea about it and tata docomo says it has been rejected by airtel and they have to approve.

                                      I don't know what are the problems here? First i am a post paid customer of airtel 2years back, last year i cleared all my dues up to last penny and migrated to prepaid [more than 6months back]. Now i am a prepaid customer, I have been using it since 2 years and its on my name.

                                      Now again i have applied for MNP on 30-01-11 to Tata Docomo. Please make sure that no problems will be raised this time. Kindly fix the issue and let me port out to docomo..

                                      AirTel — MNP Being Rejected By Airtel

                                      I made request for MNP From Airtel To Vodafone,the day it was implemented with submitting all documents i.e. on 20th January 2011.
                                      But After 4 Days I Got SMS from airtel saying the my request was rejected due to non-payment of bill,which cleared on the same day of request,i contacted Airtel Customer Care And Relationship Centre for the exact reason for it but they blankly refused for any and misbehaved like i have committed some crime or what.then i got a call from airtel asking me stay back and i told about the gesture of airtel agents on the call or at the centre, he guy furious and told me that they delibaretly cancelled my request for MNP.
                                      IT's been over 8 days and my number is still not ported and As per TRAI guidelines.number porting should not take more that 7days.and now i am fed up of contacting airtel about MNP

                                      Airtel Rejected My portabilty

                                      I requested for porting my number [protected] from airtel to idea at 8th Feb 2011 but my portability has been rejected by airtel now. but before 2 weeks i had tryed to port to bsnl also same result aitel rejected my port after that only i had try port idea. Regarding this issue i was rech airtel customer care 121 & 198 also but i unable to get response from the agents reg MNP. So i feel to 100% unsatisfied with aitrel service. Anybody Please help me to solve this issue and relief me from airtel network

                                      They rejecting port requests continuously, with false reasons.
                                      Even Nodal officer was trying to fool customers. It is the time to react,

                                      I have conacted airtel customer care and they have no idea about it and uninor says it has been rejected by airtel and they have to approve.

                                      I don't know what are the problems here?
