[Resolved] Airtel - Dish TV — pathetic customer care & cheap marketing | |
I had purchased an Airtel digital tv in march 09 & took part in there contest Stars come home, in the weeks time I was informed that I won nokia mobile phone in the contest & then the trouble started. Since then I have been waiting for my prize but I havent recieved either my prize or a satisfactory feedback from customer care department. After making a number of calls to airtel customer care department & sending them a number of mails, I got a shocking response that my name was not in the winners list whereas my name was even published on there website(anybody can check on there site for my name) since last two months, also mailing there nodal officer was of no use. Every time I used to call airtel customer care I was told that I will be getting a feedback in next 48 hrs which never happened. Now when I am inquiring about the commitment of the supervisor that I was suppose to get a reply within 48 hrs, the customer care department has no answers & are deliberately disconnecting the call after putting me on a long hold. This is the most pathetic customer care service I have ever seen or gone through, thus I would suggest that no one should buy airtel dish tv because when you require a customer care service you will get none, even I have tried to speak to their manager who never came on line & disconnected the call. So if a manager of customer care department is avoiding the customers what will his subordinates do & how good the whole department might be, anybody can make out. Was this information helpful? | |

Well that might me the case with you, Dishtv Customer service is very satisfactory.
Further if you were facing any problem regarding your subscription and other enquiry then i would suggest you to wirte mail to dishtv customer care for fast and quick action on your problem with your complete details like VC No, contact number and Address.

i also agree their customer care center is worst. no responce. with out servicing they closed the call.

I have a connection of Airtel Digital TV. Although i am quite satisfied with the quality of signal that i'm receiving but the thing that i want to mention here is there pityful rectification system of consumer problems. Channel Tensports started automatically on 25th of Aug, 2009 on my system, although i've never requested for subscription of tensports, which i noticed after a month when i saw my account is deducted with Rs. 100 for no particular reasons. After that i've loged so many complaints( 4 till now) for rectifying the problem that occured due to their unstable and weak automated systems. There customer care executives assured me 4 times and i received the sms on my mobile about Successfully resolved request but no money has been transfered yet to my account. I'm tired of telling these executives the same problem again and again...Please tell me what should i do?
Next time before buying, paying for any such product I am definately going to surf for customer issues.
Sadly I have already paid for intallation ofr Airtel Dish Tv which is yet to be installed.
The sales guy says- someone from services dept will come.
Customer complaint cell logged a complaint today morning & now I have received message that compliant has been resolved - I really wonder how ? since I am still waiting for the AIRTEL service engg. The client desk also informed me that since I had paid and my account with them has been charged SO I AM NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND.
I really do not think anyone there has a clue as to what is going on.
Special thanks to the client services team for informing me that I am not eligible for refund. This is going to save me a lot of wasted effort- Since a company who would not want to refund money taken for no services provided ( so far) is not worth following up for getting my installation.
Wishing AIRTEL employees ALL THE VERY BEST, and thanking them for the fantastic services provided.
A lesson well learnt by me. Hope the readers learn from this without spending their money.

Dish TV — Star jalsha is not available
I have depositer Rs. 50 for Star Jalsha chennel... in addition to my Gold pack package... but i could not find Star Jalsha till date..... please confirm as soon as reassion thereof....i have call several time... in my state.... Tithaya mahye... in Tripura... but there are demanding extra money Rs. 170/- for Star Jalsha Installation.....
for that also i am agree, i said i will pay this after geting Star Jalsha Chennel...
but they are said i need to pay first....
same thing i did earlier... but i am not satiusfied... please consider me for further process

in the same home(in laws n my family)to be very specific
My TV is going pretty well until i contacted customer care.i had a problem that my set top box wont turn on immediately not even a min it takes for about 15 to 20 mins...mean while it would be just flickering n i'm afraid to spoil my TV..
In this what u'll find is i never felt airtel dish t v as mine.i contacted customer care on saturday"23rd of jan "
n just told about the flickering problem that we r facing since
n they started troubleshooting...
n it really shot my TV..after that my television isn't working...
it always shows NO SIGNAL
poor airtel n cheap labor is what i heard of it till now but now i should add poor knowledge..
they just hire people n with out educating them ask them to take calls n spoil our time.
after that as we requested they said will send somebody home the next day we left all our work n waited for some1from airtel to arrive our place...
but airtel knows to keep up their fake promise n low brad..
wasting my time i called expecting something n in frustration i was ready to disconnect the line n without even thinking they r ready to lose customer by leting me know how to disconnect the line "y not agents r also bugged off with their attitude(airtels attitude)non sense
