[Resolved]  Airtel - Dish TV — pathetic customer care & cheap marketing

I had purchased an Airtel digital tv in march 09 & took part in there contest Stars come home, in the weeks time I was informed that I won nokia mobile phone in the contest & then the trouble started. Since then I have been waiting for my prize but I havent recieved either my prize or a satisfactory feedback from customer care department.

After making a number of calls to airtel customer care department & sending them a number of mails, I got a shocking response that my name was not in the winners list whereas my name was even published on there website(anybody can check on there site for my name) since last two months, also mailing there nodal officer was of no use.

Every time I used to call airtel customer care I was told that I will be getting a feedback in next 48 hrs which never happened. Now when I am inquiring about the commitment of the supervisor that I was suppose to get a reply within 48 hrs, the customer care department has no answers & are deliberately disconnecting the call after putting me on a long hold.

This is the most pathetic customer care service I have ever seen or gone through, thus I would suggest that no one should buy airtel dish tv because when you require a customer care service you will get none, even I have tried to speak to their manager who never came on line & disconnected the call. So if a manager of customer care department is avoiding the customers what will his subordinates do & how good the whole department might be, anybody can make out.

inspite of repeted reminders ur people are not attending to d defects in my airtel cable connection. How do expect i will continue dis connection. airtel is d worst
There was a monkey. Once he went to a home. There he found a vessel. There were ladoos in the vessel. Monkey put both his hands and picked ladoos in both his hands. Suddenly he heard noice of people coming to him. He tried to run but his hands could not come out. He tried a lot but failed. People came and started talking "lets cut his hands" another said "lets break the vessel" suddenly some one said "if he leaves the ladoos, his hands will come out". Monkey understood. He acted immediately and got released. Before others could think, he jumped out and got himself saved.

Now people forgot this story and AIRTEL is misusing this story. They offer something more..

Its business. No body is going to give you more than you deserve. For Rs 100/- we pay Rs 1500/- and lose our peace of mind worth Rs 5000/-.

Its your money, your peace of mind and your decision...
Yes, I also have gone through such experience. They anounce consessional schemes like ZRZR and do not give the benifits even if you are an old customer.

dishtv set up box — no response to the customer and a poor service n no at all a response to customer

i bought an dish tv set up box before an year ago it was working good n when i reacharged my account n after one month the channel which were there in my package was took out n when i call the customer care they said that the channel charge extra amoubt but i reacharged it for 3 months but no responce to me n after that my set up box was not working well i call customer care one of the guy came to my home n checked it by him the work was not done n he asked me the service charge i didnot gave him the charge he said it is an software problem he gave me an address where the software update were done i went there but there was no responce to me there also they said that it is an technical problem n send me to home that it cannot be done n no responce i just request uyou that please giove me an responce n complain on dish tv tele communication service n take some following step on them

I am kamlesh patel, my I had purchase the Airetel Dish TV and Install in my Rent house than after i tarnsfer in new location. i had done complint for re installation form last 5 days. but your custmor care not give nany conformatiuon of date. first he given 21st june the 22nd june and from today its given 26th june. your service is very wrost . withouit cistomer nobody can change business.

I also done compalint to grahak surasha for that.

Pathetic Service of Dish TV — Customer Care

Agree with the comments by all the users of DIST TV. Last couple of week I am facing an issue with DIST TV and non from the customer service desk are able to help.

I had asked for downgrading the package from South Gold Saver to South Family. For which I had pay 40/- and surprised to know that there are no charges for upgradation of package.
After speaking to multiple people, I got it downgraded and asked them to include Telugu 1 & 2, Kannada 1 & Tamil 1 as part of alacarte pack of South Family. As I was not getting the things done from Customer care by calls, I opted for email requests. So I have evidence of all the requests. But our Customer care guys have included Kannada 1 & 2, Telugu 1 & Tamil 2 as part of the package, when I again asked about this, they have included Telugu 2 and charged me for it.

Clearly mistake is from their end, but they are not responding properly and when I had written about this, they reponded in such a way that they will not be able to resolve it because of the their company norms, they will not deactivate the alacarte for less than a month itseems?

Whom should i approach to get this one resolved, no escalations points that we can reach. After my experience of dealing with Customer care executives, the conclusion is they dont know how to speak English.
i am not comfort with this air-tel dish because service was not good

from online, finally i can't get that required channels, i want Dis-connect this Air-tel dish
My new connection of Customer ID [protected] has been installed and activated on 11th Dec 2013. and the problem started immediately. A complaint ref.no.35110215 has been lodged immediately, It could be only be resolved on 09/01/2014. For this unutilized period, I want refund/revalidation of the subscription charges. Kindly help in resolving this prob.

I got echarged my Airtel Digital TV .. consumer Id 3004532 for Rs 550/- on 27/02/2014 thrrough a service provider at Kharar.. but I am getting still a"crucial message to get my a/c E-charged immediately to avoid disconnection.. and I got no message on my mobile regarding the amount I paid for E-charge... it causes a great harassment to me... I feel totally dissatisfied with your customer services...I request to resolve my complaint immediately... I previously residing at # 282, St No. 1, Dashmesh Colony, Nabha... now residing at Sunny Enclave, sector 125, Greater S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali...PIN 140301.
