[Resolved]  Airtel Landline — Phone connection not shifted

My self a consumer of Airtel Landline connection with broadband facility combo offer having no[protected]. I am earlier residing in Housing Board Cly in sec 21 D Faridabad, now I am shifted to 1103 Sec 21 D Faridabad. I have submitted a request for shifting on call centre of Airtel on 30.05.2009 vide request no 231899, 15 June vide no 20926550, 15 june vide no 20926620 and many more which i cann't remember.

On first request I have told from the representative that in next 6 days your request will be answered but no one turned up. Subsequently, every time I called to call centre, I am told that there shall be a visit which is due from technical team after that the connection will be shifted to new address. After a long time from my first request with regular follow up, finally i have got a call and got information that the same is not possible as our home is 400 meters away from the nearest installation. But at the same time I have requested that pl explore the possibilities for installation as I am your regular paying consumer without any late payment charges for the last 5-6 years. But they replied it is very difficult, one thing you can do is: pl go to the nearest AIRTEL landline office, they can clarify better.

At last, in a very embarrassing situation, I have requested for disconnection of services as AIRTEL shown no interest.

As a last step, on friday 19.06.2009, I went to Airtel Landline Office located at NH 5, near Blue dart Courier service. I have explained my concern and requested for any possibility of installation. But the lady there haven't shown any interest for continuing the AIRTEL services to us inspite of this I have requested for the status of connectivity in my area (such as upto how much House nos of the same sector/ nearby colony the airtel connection is there) or if i can talk to the local technical person if you donot have complete information. The lady is least bothered and asking there is no possibility I hav tell you.

But during my visit, I have seen that nearby colony adjcent to our sector hav connectivity which is approx 100 meters

So can I get the connection or not
I request AIRTEL Pl depute some technical person for visit again and meet us or customer will first suffer and no result after that.

Airtel — Phoen line shifting blues

Hi,

I had asked for shifting of my phone line on 2nd August 2009 from Maratahhali to Kormangala.
The date given to me to resolve the issue was 9th August 2009, 4:30 pm.

The issue has not been resolved yet. I am tired of following it up through their Customer Care who give me the response as it's in progress with no dates now as to when it would be resolved.

This is hurting me, as I am without network (for the past 5 days) and it effects my work and my company directly.

Hi, I have shifted from Delhi to Ghaziabad on 15th July 2009.
I called Airtel to transfer my internet connection + Fixed line Phone on 14th July.
I was told that it will take 4 working days.
After that I have been following up regularly but till date it has not been shifted.
First it takes very long to get to that dept .to talk to some one for this and secondly some times they disconnects..
So in a nutshell I am completly dissatisfied customer of Airtel and I would say that if it would have been in my hands I would have shut down the Airtel company, they are simply pathetic service providers.
Sunil Mittal does not know what they do and how badly the customer services reps talk to.
On 19 th July I called and they said it takes 7 working days and not 4, so contradictory statements, and now its 7 working daya are also over, now what?
I am badly in need of internet but airtel sucks, so I have decided if within 2 days if I dont get any satisfactory answer from them I will go for Tata indicom or reliance service and no relation with Airtel in future.

I am earlier residing in D-40B Mahendru Enclave, Opp Model Town-3 Delhi-110009, now I am shifted to R-13 1st Floor, Model Town-3, Dehi- 110009 (Just nearby). I have submitted a request for shifting on call centre of Airtel on 19/12/2009, and then 10 times again with no result. The reference number of request: 27702220 and[protected] and 28097364 and 28183228, 28278204 and many more which I cant remember.

On first request I have told from the representative that in next 6 days your request will be answered but no one turned up. Subsequently, every time I called to call centre, I am told that there shall be a visit which is due from technical team after that the connection will be shifted to new address, however nothing has been done till now. Is there any sound person in Airtel who can tell me what is happening with my request for shifting the connection and how longer it would take, so that I can make up mind to disconnect the connection and get a new one.

AirTel — landline connection shifting

from last 15 days i am continually asking airtel to shift my land line connection my ph no is [protected] and serivice req no is 45038206 but every day they have customer ex said to me that it will be done by today but no result comes.
